Time and again, every trip I take to the Okanagan, I say to myself I am going to stop here. Time and again, I have some reason for not stopping here on the way home. Each one justified in my head. Each one is bullshit. I'm not sure why I do that, I'm not sure why I never stop. But this latest time, I needed to take a few minutes for myself and just enjoy taking my time on the drive home. It was not disappointing, the lighting was magical, and in the current state of the world it was blissfully quiet with only a few others walking the trail ahead of me.
