Little proud moment coming in. My daughter and I have had the house to ourselves all week, and today, we took some time to relax. We ended up planning our weekend meals, and today, we experimented with making homemade "fettuccine" noodles. I put the quotes because they didn't come out so perfect since we don't have a pasta maker, but it was still a fun experience. We set up our dinner like it was a little fancy meal for us. I took pictures because I was super excited about it lol!

Here's my reward for feeding on demand, backaches, endless hunger, hairfall, and unlimited thirst. Oh! Also, the daily decisions on what to wear that is boob access. Please do know that if it happens that u visited us by surprise and I did not come to greet you, it is because I am topless at that moment 😂😆

Above all mentioned, I am soo glad that God blessed me with lots of milk to provide nourishment to my child. And by the looks of it, this baby is more than satisfied.

We made 'biscuits' today that originally were supposed to be 'muffins'. I didn't have the really healthy stuff, like flax seeds, or whole wheat flour. So they aren't that healthy, really, but there's no extra sugar or salt (except for what's in the butter). They didn't turn out like muffins at all. I added grated carrot and spinach and she ate two and I froze the rest as I am hoping to join a picnic in Tokyo on Thursday. That is also why I am making hamburg steak for dinner, so I can make her her own and freeze a bit for Thursday. I try to give her healthy foods 99% of the time so I can share some special treats with her and they'll really feel special. Also, yeah, healthy is good. She's not even 2. I feel like it'll be easier to introduce junk later. Not that she never eats junk. I am a big fan of junk. But Japanese kids' meals in most restaurants are disgusting. French fries, fried shrimp, salty tomato soup, ketchup, etc. Not a big fan. I guess America is the same? Fries and tenders? I want some mac and cheese right now, though, good day for it... rainy, gloomy. How old is too old to be bringing your kid his/her own meal to a restaurant? I feel like we are already reaching that point. Anyway, I quickly sketched this in a few seconds as she was picking crumbs off her tray. She kept offering me pieces of the biscuits we made, not sure if that meant she wasn't too impressed with them or not. I added cinnamon, but I couldn't taste it. Sorry, K. I tried. Its been a minute since I've posted anything. I have been very busy since the last time I post. We've had several birthdays to celebrate along with Mother's Day and a community garage sale, which I probably posted about. If I didn't, I'll post what happened for context. I had been meaning to post more but I have been exhausted but today, I really wanted to put something down, especially since I have been thinking a lot about breaking the cycle with bad parenting. My parents were very selfish and even now they behave that way and I know that I tend to act that way at times but I'm trying really hard to break that. I started looking for ways to keep myself in check but I have read that it is a life long struggle and I hate that but I am willing to make it happen. I hope I can do it.

A photo of my first two kids sleeping soundly under a thick sheet of blanket, snuggled together tightly with stuffed toys around. I suddenly remember the days when they were the ones in my tummy. Both are moving too much and when they are out in the world, they are even moving way too much. They are both ball of energy and sunshine that won’t keep this home quiet even for just a minute. And it’s only when bedtime comes when home is still. I thank God for having them. But they are growing too fast. Poor kid just wants to play with the older kids, but they (usually understandably) want nothing to do with her. She takes it pretty hard. . I’m also still pretty torn on daycare. Deep down I just want to do this illustration work I’ve been doing here and there and then When I can Take K-Chan to the forest park And wander through the trees On a weekday when it’s so quiet And not feel like a leech doing so I draw when I can but it’s hard when she’s home with me (99.99% of the time). I’ll never be a professional artist anyway but it’d be impossible like this.
