Nightmare on vomit street:

2:45 am Monday morning what better time to blog than right after being woke up by a shower of puke 🤢 from your four year old who couldn't make it to the bathroom that was ten feet away, but could maneuver in the dark across the living room , into your room and let loose all over your peacefully dreaming of Noah Calhoun from the notebook self . Thats what they don't tell you in parenting 101 when you are trying to prepare for this new adventure . Maybe because there is no real parenting 101 class you can take before hand . Because every parent and every child is different and after becoming a parent and giving life to this little beautiful baby that one day is gonna have as much sass as a 16 year old in her short little four years of life, that you don't know if you should be scared for the future or proud that she can hold down her own , you realize everyday your actually living parenting 101. I curse more than I should on a single day and sometimes my outside voice is more my inside voice than I like to admit. At the end of the day I look like I have been ran down by a pack of wolves and my house isn't spotless , and though I'm living everyday in this thing I like to call organized chaos because that's what works for us . I do know I have three beautiful kids that even while being vomited all over and wanting to do nothing but unleash my inner psychopath I stop and after a shower for each of us , 4 shampooings , Clorox wipe down , blanket change and Tylenol I can't help but feel warm and smiling on the inside that even though I don't have it together on a daily basis like society thinks you have to, that my child woke up and needed me so bad that she completely bypassed the bathroom because her instincts when not feeling good is to come to her comfort place which thank God is me . I'll take a thousand pukings 😷 to continue to have this bond with my kids. Just another Manic Momday . 😉But seriously can I go back to my dream 😍

It is Monday #MOMday and today we're featuring Laurel from @shegetspolished who was inspired by her mom to create the Polished platform to make society aware of the difficulties moms encounter in the workforce and establish a platform that helps them support each other and find success in their work life. Laurel is not a mommy but seeing her mom go through the struggles she went through made her realize that we all need to stand together for this cause. So this one goes out to her and her mom.
