"Have you ever wished to be Something else..?"
Tumblr media
"This is one of Sigma-El's recurring questions, when we are not rested enough for me to be able to mask my boredom. Often I pause to feign reflection and whisper to him that I'm fine with what we are. I use a soft voice to caress his ears and drive the ugly thought from his mind.
He falls silent - a silence that becomes more and more sepulchral. I feel his eyes on my neck, on my back, on my hands, I know he is here but he does not wish to show himself to the world. I feel him around me in such a palpable way that I often forget that he is not really there. That doesn't stop him. He contemplates me, examines me, the years make his gaze more piercing. Lucidity often acts on the soul, makes those who know more empty than the ignorant… I have been worried about this ever since I realised that something was going to break in us, very soon. Something I'm trying to push away in vain. He is growing up, this child - and my face is falling apart. I can no longer hide my dissatisfaction, my frustration, as they guide so many of my steps. My patience, which I try to make unquenchable, is wearing thin with time. My voice trembles when I see myself reflected on the water.
I desire something else. I am hungry for something else. Dreadfully." [I hope this will encourage @caliblorn and @lokorum to write a little, i will post a lot more bc I have MANY texts but hey, don't be scared to do the same, I know many people will enjoy it as well (at least I will do)]

Daedric Princes and their appearances in ESO
*as of 2025.
**sorry this is long
Azura: we've spoken to her through statues and intermediaries she has possessed during the Vvardenfell main quest and prologue, as well as side quests in Stormhaven and Grahtwood, but never to her real form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Boethiah: she has appeared three times throughout the Pact base game and in Craglorn's Dragonstar Arena as "Aspera the Forgotten/Giant-Friend/Arena-Friend", a sort of avatar/mortal form of Boethiah. This is more canon than other avatar/mortal forms on this list in my opinion, especially Giant-Friend. She also speaks during the Arena through a statue of herself. We have never spoken to her real form either.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clavicus Vile (and Barbas): the player speaks to Vile during the Vvardenfell main quest through his statue, and to both to his true form and through intermediaries in Summerset's main quest. Barbas appears in both of those main quests as well, plus a side quest in Reapers March. Barbas appears as both a dog, Skaafin, and shapeshifted into (spoiler)'s form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hermaeus Mora: Mora appears in many places throughout the base game. The Vile Manse, side quests in Greenshade, Craglorn, and Bangkorai, and of course during Necrom and Gold Road. He appears in both his true form and through statues.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hircine: appears a few times in Valenwood zones side quests via Aspects and through memories, through a statue in Bangkorai, during the quest to become a werewolf, and appears in his true form in the Hunting Ground during the March of Sacrifices dungeon. The last one has more him speaking At the player and other NPCs than it being a true conversation between you both.
Tumblr media
Ithelia: created for and only appears in ESO during Gold Road, and unlikely to ever reappear, for plot reasons. She comes into her true form throughout the storyline, starting out looking even more like a mortal.
Tumblr media
Jyggalag: no, and unlikely to ever appear unless we get a Greymarch DLC. We have some random thieving treasures that mention him though, and the (Replica) Sword of Jygalagg has been released on the Crown Store.
Tumblr media
Malacath: we have the Obsidian Shard public dungeon appearance as the only thing close to a form. Sort of an avatar, sort of a projection, all base game. Old Orsinium public dungeon has him speaking to us through statues. And another Wrothgar side quest has an option for him to speak. But we have not seen his true form in game or spoken to him in it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mehrunes Dagon: speaks to the player and NPCs in City of Ash I, and we see a vision of Dagon speaking to (spoiler) during the Auridon main quest. We see Dagon's true form and even fight him during the Blackwood and Deadlands main quest.
Tumblr media
Mephala: her appearances in the base game have her using a generic spider daedra form or a dremora with a ghostly shader, but during the Summerset main quest, the player speaks with Mephala in her true form. Her base game appearances are a side quest in Bangkorai and Reaper's March, as well as speaking at the end of Crypt of Hearts II
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meridia: she appears several times in the Coldharbour main quest, as a generic Breton woman, then the same but with a yellow ghostly shader. We speak to her through her statue in the Summerset main quest. You could argue we've never spoken to her true form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Molag Bal: seen and spoken to multiple times in the main quest, personally fought in the main quest in his true form. Speaks a few times to taunt the player and NPCs during the Fighters Guild main quest. Also speaks at every dolmen, and a few spots in the Imperial City Sewers.
Tumblr media
Namira: one singular appearance in a Shadowfen side quest, where she appears as an Aspect of herself (looking like a spectral Xivilai). We have statues of her, but she never appears as her true form. Despite being relevant in Markarth, does not truly appear, unless you count the Dark Heart itself.
Tumblr media
Nocturnal: she speaks at the end of the Clockwork City main quest, and you see her true form throughout the Summerset main quest (along with speaking to her). A Blackwood side quest has you speaking to her through her statue.
Tumblr media
Peryite: the closest we've gotten is hearing him speak during a memory with Vaermina and Hermaeus Mora in the Necrom main quest. He only appears as his statue form, and never speaks To the player. People sometimes argue Jorvuld speaking after Scalecaller Peak is Peryite possessing him, but it's actually Zaan (in my opinion), so sadly that doesn't count as an appearance. This was the last daedric prince who was yet to speak in ESO's history, if you count the following...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sanguine: now there's no Technically canon appearance of Sanguine in game. But! It is believed that the NPC Samuel Gourone from the Jester Festival is Sanguine in mortal form. His appearance, mannerisms, the quest he gives all hint to this being the case. Like all Princes (besides Jyg), he does have a Statue form, we just have never seen him appearing as it.
Tumblr media
Sheogorath: He features in the Mages Guild main quest, Southpoint in Grahtwood, teaches you how to use Volendrung in Cyrodiil, and appears as the Skooma Cat in Northern Elsweyr. All of which you can speak to, and this is definitely his true form.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vaermina: she appears during the Stormhaven main quest, speaks during a side quest in the Rift, and apears in the Necrom main quest as a primary antagonist. Her appearances vary from speaking with a statue, speaking with and fighting an intermediary (person she is possessing), and seeing her true form post fight.
Tumblr media
If anyone has any other appearances I missed, let me know!

Sujamma Sundas
I was tagged by @pinessydr , thank you!!
@arnaerr poking you for tes oc facts but feel free to ignore
I want to talk about our with @buriedknight hero of Kvatch. cw gore mentioned
Tumblr media
Please check out amazing pieces with her by buriedknight: one and two
- she is a vampire but she is disgusted by the thought of munching on someone’s neck, so she usually pours blood from corpses into flask or other vessel to drink properly
- she is very afraid of Mehrunes Dagon’s wraith because of game’s events so tried to win his favour, then gave up and decided to win over Molag Bal but got ghosted
- misses crisis of oblivion because inside the gates there is no sun and there are a lot of unguarded by law daedra to munch upon
- looks like the type any cyrodiil citizen can encounter on the side of an unguarded road: unpleasant trout which can kill over money. This did not get her any good points in hero and champion job applications (actually failed with champion one because of this)
- is a very good actor but almost never uses her skill (she is not playing murderous trout, it’s her natural look)
- Martin is something like adopted son for her, she is something like pet dog for him
- does not feel anything about the act of murder / violence itself but enjoys seeing herself performing well at fighting and killing
- is very sad about death of Uriel Septim because she thought she had a chance of becoming his mistress

Something I don’t see mentioned very often (or indeed see that it’s gotten wrong and misunderstood) is that the Vestige does not have their own body.
From UESP, “Molag Bal's lust for the enslavement of mortal souls is such that at the moment of their death, he employs various methods to divert a mortal's soul from its journey to the afterlife to imprisonment and slavery in Coldharbour, his realm of Oblivion. Once the soul arrives in Coldharbour, it is exchanged for an essence commonly known as the vestige. The vestige attracts to itself a shapeless but energetic material called Chaotic Creatia. In Coldharbour, this creatia takes the form of a substance known as the Azure Plasm - ubiquitous pools of blue slime. The Azure Plasm coalesces around a vestige and forms a corporeal body with the semblance of the shape it wore in life. The process is similar to how lesser Daedra reform on their respective planes of Oblivion, after they're banished or slain.”
Before they get their own soul back they are, effectively, a Daedra. They have a Daedric “soul” and a Daedric body. This is why most of the Soul Shriven we see are half decayed, they’ve lost their souls so the Creatia doesn’t know how to hold their body’s together right - The Vestige being the exception to the rule.
Like, don’t get me wrong fanfic where the Vestige has their body are still good, I still love them, but where is the angst of not having their soul or their body? Where’s the existential dread of whether or not they are they still themselves?
Is it possible that the Vestige has to fight their own body, reanimated by the Work Cult?
How does everyone else react to the Vestige not being Mortal in the most basic senses, body and soul?
Idk. I just think it’s interesting and would love to see more people explore That Can Of Worms (TM)

Thank you for your answer about worshipping canonically "evil" figures! You mention getting to know them, and I was wondering how one goes about connecting with a deity like that? Don't worry about the rambling, I like long and detailed answers.
Happy to help, internet traveler!
Generally, the step and step is actually pretty simple. For the sake of example, I'm going to once again use Molag Bal's name as example where needed.
Call upon them and state your intent and what you're willing to do now. As in, you would call upon Molag Bal, state something like "I want to learn about you to decide if I wish to worship you, I am willing to make offering and interact with you, but nothing further at this time." or whatever it is you're actually willing to do. If you don't want to make offering, that's fine, some find that only for those they worship.
As for how to call upon them, stating their name and a title of theirs (even if it's self-assigned) gets their attention pretty easily. Like "Molag Bal, Protector of the Abused..." gets His attention for me pretty easily.
Take some time to state your direct boundaries. This can be anything, and some things to consider are:
what spaces of your home they are and aren't welcome in (ex. welcome in the kitchen, but not your bedroom or bathroom)
where/when they shouldn't try to interact with you (ex. at the workplace)
what kinds of signs you don't want from them (ex. spiders)
what kinds of signs you do want from them (ex. a specific amount of the same bird in your yard or something like that)
what you're not willing to do as devotional / give as offering (ex. making donations due to lack of expendable funds, or offering blood)
what kind of relationship you are and aren't willing to have
any interaction boundaries like "don't joke about xyz" or "don't tease me"
And anything else you deem necessary to your relationship. Don't worry about covering everything immediately, because if you realize something makes you uncomfortable later on, you can just state it as it happens.
It's also good to discuss things like whether or not you'll be building a shrine, and what kind of shrine they should expect from you if so. Digital shrines are as valid as physical shrines, just to make sure that's clear.
As well, expect to be given boundaries for you to follow as well. Gods have boundaries too, and they might not want certain offerings, devotionals, kinds of conversations, being leaned on for specific things, the works.
Actively engage with the entity and welcome them into your life. You won't get anywhere if you never interact with them or push them out of your life. Permit them to actually be in your life and interact back.
Make a devotional playlist, listen to it and see how it makes you feel. Use tarot or another method to speak to them. Meditate on their presence. Use automatic writing to have a conversation.
Don't endure more than you're willing to, so don't force yourself to make devotionals you don't want to or offerings you don't want to make. Don't make yourself interact 24/7 either.
Learn about them slowly over your experiences with them. Don't be afraid to back out at any time should you decide it needs to end, but be honest with the entity that the relationship is ending now, because they might not leave otherwise.
Bonding with any entity doesn't come overnight, it comes over time of existing with them and interacting with them. But this is how I've started each of my new relationships with any specific entity, and I hope it helps you out, too!
I learned Molag Bal slowly over time, though for me it didn't take me too long to trust Him. Because I could feel that He had kindness for me and wanted to treat me well. But I did take some time at the least to work through it and gain trust myself.
If you have any further questions please feel free to hop back into my inbox!

Daedric Princes summoning days
in Daggerfall there is this gameplay element where you can only summon the Daedric Princes on certain days to gain access to their quests and then their artifacts. while the entire concept was removed in the subsequent games, i thought this could be an interesting thing to incorporate into an Elder Scrolls-inspired pop-culture practice. it's ultimately up to you how to choose to perceive and celebrate those days if you do decide to incorporate them as there does not seem to be much lore surrounding these days.
thankfully the Tamriel calendar corresponds exactly to the Gregorian calendar, so i will be mentioning both names of the respective months for your convenience and the entries are sorted alphabetically. i am basing this list entirely on the Holidays page from the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages, which can be found through this link.
Azura's Summoning Day - the 21st of First Seed (March) also called Hogithum. More information can be found in the short text of the book Invocation of Azura.
Boethiah's Summoning Day - 2nd of Sun's Dusk (November)
Clavicus Vile's Summoning Day - the 1st of Morning Star (January)
Hermaeus Mora's Summoning Day - 5th of First Seed (March)
Hircine's Summoning Day - 5th of Midyear (June)
Malacath's Summoning Day - 8th of Frost Fall (October)
Mehrunes Dagon's Summoning Day - 20th of Sun's Dusk (November)
Mephala's Summoning Day - 13th of Frost Fall (October)
Meridia's Summoning Day - 13th of Morning Star (January)
Molag Bal's Summoning Day - 20th of Evening Star (December)
Namira's Summoning Day - 9th of Second Seed (May)
Nocturnal's Summoning Day - 3rd of Hearthfire (September)
Peryite's Summoning Day - 9th of Rain's Hand (April)
Sanguine's Summoning Day - 16th of Sun's Dawn (February)
Sheogorath's Summoning Day - 2nd of Sun's Dawn (February)
Vaermina's Summoning Day - 10th of Sun's Heights (July)

I just realized how close to home the political setting of the Elder Scrolls hits.
Our education system is so fucked, that if we lived in a medieval fantasy world, I genuinely wouldn't be shocked if I heard someone say "if the democrats have a dragon on their side, President Trump is the only one who could stop them."
That's a real thing that Hadvar says when you escape Helgen by the way, only with different buzzwords. He genuinely has been so indoctrinated by the Empire that doesn't give a shit about him that he fully believes that A. the Stormcloaks have a dragon, which is foolish because he just saw them being torched by the fucker 10 minutes ago, and B. that some puny fucking military governor could stand in the way of a world-ending, fire-breathing sky lizard. That's like saying your favorite member of the senate could cure cancer just by showing up to the hospital.
Not to mention, the Empire is funding a genocidal, religiously oppressive foreign power that seeks to destroy any trace of the people whose ideals oppose their own just so they can have a bigger fucking backyard. I'm not saying "Israel are just like those silly elves in the Elder Scrolls" but I am saying that TES (especially Skyrim) is packed with political messages. And they are not pro-genocide, they are not pro-conservatism, and they are not pro-establishment.
Anyway I may be voting for the Emperor, but you're voting for fucking Molag Bal.

Note
hi there o/
could i hear abit about ur tes ocs? they seem super neat :3
ngl forgot I had my asks open
But ofc (^o^) (it's going to be long so strap in. Specifically Sorayne, and ill only do dlcs where ive diverged the canon; Dog/Emrys arent mine and belong to my friends so their ramble will be from them and what theyve played)
TES ONLINE
Sorayne:
Redguard; Templar - Bastion of Light; 23 at the start of main quest; Bisexual, Panromatic
MAIN QUEST
Sorayne was (and is) my Vestige from the first time I've played it around 2 years ago.
She was born in a small village on the Hammerfell/High Rock border, where she soon met a Breton named Einar, who would become her best friend. She grew up very religious, and worshipped Kynareth in specific, though she respected all Aedric gods.
Around the age of 18, she went off on a voyage/pilgrimage, leaving Einar behind in the small village they grew up in.
When she returned, Einar was nowhere to be found, after asking around, she found out that he was prosecuted for Daedra worship.
Struck with grief, she left once more, this time with no plan to return. For the longest time she made a living from bounties and selling extra game. She did this until she was 23, in which she left for Daggerfall.
(We all know what's coming next, yes?)
Anyway, on the docks, she bumps into a hooded figure who told her about some benefactor and the fate of the world.
Here's where canon slightly diverges; Sorayne, although sacrificed, isn't sacrificed by Mannimarco, but an unnamed Worm Cultist.
She ends up in Coldharbour about a week and a half before Lyris meets her (and Dog/Emrys) during a jailbreak.
Problem upon returning to Nirn is she doesn't remember who she is. She didn't have the Prophet's protection initially, but rather her deity's (which was weaker in Molag Bal's domain). This led to her slowly descending into madness rather than almost instantly. (coughtheballadofjanedoewhocough)
Rest of the Main Quest proceeds as normal, with Sorayne breaking down about who she was and why she feels longing for someone. Why she feels an ache in her heart yet no memory to correlate it to.
She's begged The Prophet to show her who she was when he showed her, Dog, and Emrys the vision/echo of the past.
One night she cried to Lyris and Sai about her missing memories.
Memories are regained when the Amulet of Kings is used against Molag Bal and her soul merges with The Prophet (that's what happens right? I have don't mq in a while)
Dark Brotherhood
She was reluctant to join the guild of assassins. In her defense: Naryu.
However, Dog was rather excited for the idea, and didn't shy away from the opening task. Begrudgingly, she followed Dog's footsteps and also assassinated someone. (Although if you ask her, saying that was an assassination would be an insult to the name)
She enjoyed chatting with those that welcomed the conversation. She didn't like the insults she could see behind Elam Drals' eyes.
She felt sick when she saw the body of Cimbar. Cheap Assassin or not (who was she kidding. She was one as well); no one deserved that. However, she saw the golden chains and immediately felt an Aedra's chosen was at work.
When Hildegard ran off, she was worried sick. She's lost one friend she wouldn't loose another.
She was enraged when The Black Dragon killed Mirabelle, although she tells herself it's because she had no power to try to stop her, but really it's because she began to care for Mirabelle.
She felt much more satisfaction when killing Lyra/The Black Dragon. And admittedly she was tired of running and killing. Yet of course there was one more soul to be sent to The Void.
She died a few times during the final battle, but much less that Emrys and Dog did. She never wants to remember what it feels like as your lungs fill up with your own blood.
Summerset
As I've mentioned in a previous post, Veya didn't go evil and instead was on the Vestige trio's side during the storyline. Summerset proceeds as normal, with Sorayne feeling a mix of hatred and guilt towards Leythen and the entire scenario with Valsirenn.
Sorayne, Dog, Emrys have no quarrels in ending the Court of Bedlam. Atleast not until Tundilwen has a little chat with Sorayne (when you first get the option to make the connection of Tundilwen being Veya). Sorayne refused to believe it. She later tried to plead with them that she was told they were dead. That they couldn't possibly hold her at fault for the rumors of others when she was gone for the better part of the year.
Later in the story but before the conversation with Tundilwen after Nocturnal's betrayal to the Court, Clavicus Vile reaches out to Sorayne with whispers of promises. Promises for a reality where Einar never fell under Nocturnal's control. Promises where she never turned out the monster she was.
She was on the edge of giving in when Veya found out about her thoughts. aka Veya does what Sorayne tried to do during Vvardenfell story zone questline.
Gold Road
Skipping to here bc I don't remember what happened in Necrom so I idr what was that and what was Gold Road. However, I will admit, there is some recent Avowed inspo mixed in to how diverged this canon gets
Anyway
Sorayne signed the contract with Hermaeus Mora. She trusted Emrys enough to trust his Prince. And once again, she was ensnared in a plot that concerns reality.
However, when she met Ithelia in that inn, lost, confused, mortal in all but death. She couldn't convince herself to not care about the Forgotten Prince. Not when she saw herself. She wondered if she walked Ithelia's path in another reality. She figured she could play the role well. She helped Ithelia regain some sense of who she is/was without a second thought. Something she commonly did and was always told it'd bite her in the ass one day.
During the adventure and travels across different paths, Sorayne respected Ithelia to a degree higher than Hermaeus Mora. That respect only increased when Sorayne had collapsed after the final path and Ithelia was the only to rent a room and take her to bed. Ithelia was still there when she awoke, and Sorayne was embarrassed with how...curious...Ithelia looked at her.
She told Dog about what happened and Dog understood. Dog was one for chaos. If she could twist the strings she would without a care of any consequences. The only real issue was trying to persuade Emrys. The Dunmer called Dog and Sorayne insane for entertaining the idea of siding with Ithelia.
Anyway, come final battle with Ithelia, Torvesaard (i hoe that's how u spell it. I'm not looking it up.) never absorbs her power, as Sorayne and Dog (and Emrys) had gotten Mora and Ithelia to talk rather than fight. They find out that the whole reason Ithelia was imprisoned in the first place was because the Princes also feared Jyggalag's power and hindered him by cursing him with the reality of Sheogorath. And therefore, led to Ithelia being too much for reality whenever madness ruled over order.
Long Story short, Ithelia is kind of put into a scenario like Jyggalag. This lasts until HoK (Hermes) mantles Sheogorath, and Ithelia is now free to be free
Crushes really hard on Naryu and she knows it. And when she met Ashur? Also crushed. But did so respectfully. (That post i have abt Val and Sorayne; yes these are the two Morag Tong.)
Sorayne was the one shot in the head by Inigo, not Crow.
Sorayne, when hearing from Kaidan and Gabrielle about their traumas in relation to Dagon, was ready to square up with the Prince. They get to the shrine during "Old Love, Old Hate" and Sorayne's glaring fucking daggers at the shrine.
During "The Cause" cc content, Sorayne desperately wanted to run off and find either Dagon, Feah'al or Rosalind.
She was forced to stay by Gabrielle.
Dog
Khajiit; Nightblade - Umbral Assassin; 21 at the start of Main Quest. (Any Pronouns); Pansexual; Panromantic
Dog's backstory is still in the process of being made.
Dog almosted immediately became friends with Cadwell. Much to Emrys' horror.
Dog's least favorite person in the Five (four) Companions was Abnar. He was too controlling and self centered for them.
At the end of Morrowind/the Vvardenfell zone story, Dog actually went on the ship to Summerset with Veya. The two actually bonded and got really close to each other during the journey.
Dog became an Eye for the Queen rather early in life. And they and Razum-dar were a thing.
Naryu was equally annoyed with both of them during "The Sweetroll Killer" quest, the only buffer being Sorayne as Emrys wasn't present for this.
"Dog is evil alcoholic klepto"
Why do you think they were so on board with betraying the contract with Hermaeus Mora?
Dog acts often without thinking (except for what the funniest action would be).
At the time of Skyrim when Dog heard about Dragons, Dog practically bolted for Skyrim.
They met Emrys somewhere in Cyrodiil and then traveled together.
Dog respects Caryalind. As they used to be a Queen's Eye, they felt a similar duty to the Dominion Prince.
Dog's least favorite follower is Xelzaz. Reason? They don't like the Telvanni.
Emrys
Dark Elf (Dunmer); Arcanist - Desolation Scholar (bit of training in healing, lost interest in it when he became practically immortal); 120 at the start of Main quest; (He/Him); Greysexual, Cupioromantic
Theme: "Alive I" by Precious Jewel Amor
Jerk in the beginning of Main Story. He's snarky in a way that puts Abnar Tharn to shame.
Used to be in a cult dedicated to Hermaeus Mora and left for Davon's Watch one day because he was bored.
Had two close friends in said cult (currently unnamed)
Desperately wants to wring Mannimarco's skin ever since he woke up in Coldharbour.
Mad that his powers weren't the strongest in Coldharbour.
The Prophet calls him Soulless. So now he could brag to his friends about it. (They constantly poked at him for not expressing much emotion).
Dog was the bane of his existence for the longest time. "That damned cat won't shut the fuck up about *whatever has Dog's interest*"
Isnt huge on being a comfort person until he was the one sent to talk to Veya. (They're siblings your honor)
Still has an attitude around the time of Skyrim, though it's much less.
Keeps his mouth fucking SHUT around Gabrielle. He isn't trying to piss her off. He likes his life. Gets teased by Varrick for it.
Crow: "Mora wants me to-"
Emrys: "FUCK!!"
TES OBLIVION
Hermes
Imperial; Barbarian; 28 at the beginning of Oblivion; Androsexual
Unfortunately; backstory is still being made
Was imprisoned for a false accusation of murder. Guard had no care of him or what cell he went into, hence why he was thrown into the cell with the escape route.
When he rescued Martin from Kvatch he was annoyed. He didn't want to be wrapped up in this. He hated the gods for the irony of HIM having to guide a priest of Akatosh.
During the trip to Weynon Priory, Hermes begins to appreciate Martin's company. And when they went to Cloud Ruler Temple, he would consider the two of them friends. Throughout the main quest, the two grew closer and before the battle where you close the big Oblivion Gate (give me a break, I haven't played in months) Martin makes a promise with Hermes that after everything is through and he is titles Emperor, he offer a similar position to Hermes. (They gay af. Good for them. Yet Dagon is homophobic 🙄)
Dont remember much about him, but he did grow close to Lucien LaChance before he was killed.
As that one Dagoth Ur guy said "The Champion was mad before he even set foot on the Shivering Isle".
When he mangled Sheogorath, and Ithelia was also set loose, he just looked at her and said, very exhausted "THERES ANOTHER ONE OF US!?"
they become besties by nature ofc
TES SKYRIM
only doing Crow bc I have too many and I'm doing all I can in one night otherwise I will never get it done
Crow (Birthname: Eldoria)
Nordic Imperial; doesn't have a specific class but is a minor Pyromaniac; might as well be 16 at the start of Skyrim; (She/Her); some fucking flavor of queer idk
Was born in Rivenspire, with the name Eldoria, and was there for most of her childhood, she has a twin brother named Vivian, and an older brother by nine years named Ezio.
One night when she was 5, Thalmor agents intruded on their home and killed her father (ex blade). Eldoria was afraid and out of instinct, triggered fire magic (related to her dragon soul being one of a fire dragon). Terrified of her now burning hands, she stumbled against the wooden wall. Which surprise surprise, caught fire.
Unknown to her at the time, Vivian awoke when she had first collided with the wall in terror and was quick to run away at the first sight of flames. It was only the twins and their father at home. Their mother was at the Imperial City doing merchant things, and their brother was with a friend training for the Legion.
Vivian ran to tell guards who were stationed night watch about the disaster at his home.
Back to Eldoria/Crow, she was surrounded by flames, yet besides her hand and forearms, didn't burn at her, simply everything around her.
A guard was able to brave the flames and get to her. They calmed her down to where she was no longer actively using magic, and carried her from the burning house.
More lore that I haven't really written, except for the fact that she finds out her mother kind of set her father up after an argument a month before the incident.
Their mother eventually remarried to a wealthier man, who had a prestarted family, yet still she was the oldest at the house (her brother was now with the Legion so she technically is second oldest but he isn't around often, and their mother and father are mostly absent. Doing...things. with eachother).
Time Skip to about 15 years old, Eldoria gets attacked one night at an inn by a superstitious patron for her freakish "elven" looks. (White eyes, albeit rare, were seen in Altmer. Never humans.)
Eldoria defends herself well enough but is kicked out for disrupting the "peace" of the inn.
Later that week, Eldoria and Vivian sneak out to a small grove they discovered years ago.
As they passed through the wooded area surrounding their special spot, a group of friends (as well as unnamed patron from the inn) spot them. They ambush them with the intent to kill.
Vivian gets his throat sliced by someone before Eldoria could burn them alive. When it's only her standing, she cradles her twin's head in her hands. She doesn't want to believe he's dead. He couldn't be. She cries herself to sleep, not a hard feat after her magicka usage. She doesn't awake in the woods however, instead it's a peaceful room with a warm ambience. The bed she's in is comfortable, her body ached, specifically where she probably either had broken ribs or a cut from a dagger. She didn't know. Didn’t remember the specifics.
When she tried to shift to see why her side ached so much, the door creaked open to reveal a Redguard (go on. Guess who it is.) who is carrying a steaming bowl of what smells like chicken and...something.
"Glad to see you're awake. You sleep like the dead you know?"
Eldoria let the Redguard, Sorayne, take care of her. Her name wasn't asked, which she appreciated. Even as nice as a person Sorayne seemed to be, giving your name to a stranger probably isn't the best idea.
Eventually, the offer to stay with her and her friends comes up after Eldoria says she doesn't wish to return home. She takes it. And its then that a name is asked for.
Her mind blanked. She knew running away with the same name, same look, is stupid, and so she hesitated. Thinking. Perhaps a name that alluded to everything that led her here, her...misfortunes.
"Crow, I think."
Not quite a year later, Sorayne offers to take Crow to Skyrim for a trip she was doing. Crow took it and the two went to Skyrim, and camped just outside of Darkwater Crossing. There they heard the sounds of Imperials.
Crow gets spotted by a Battlemage and Sorayne puts herself between the two.
This makes a minor altercation where Sorayne and Crow ultimately loose. Sorayne gets "killed" and the battlemage hits Crow with an Elemental Blast spell, which finds its mark on her left shoulder and burns her upper left arm, left chest, lower left face.
Skyrim then Skyrims
The civil war doesn't really happen (this is stuff I'm still writing, but ik Crow gets her dumbass imprisoned by the Thalmor)
She meets the modded followers I've posted about. And gets close with Gabrielle (not as close as Sorayne winkwinknudgenudge /j), Kaidan, Remiel, and Varrick in particular.
Cant think about Crow right now, but the timeline is
Main Quest > Mora's Daedric Quest + Lower Level Side Quests + (Legacy starts) Wyrmstooth > College of Winterhold > Sheogorath Daedric Quest, More Side Quests + Sirenroot/Falskaar > The Companions > Clockwork + Midwood Isle > Dawnguard > Meridia, Hircine, Azura, Clavicus Vile Daedric Quests + Thane of every hold besides Windhelm > Thieves Guild > Rest of Daedric Quests + Moonpath To Elsweyr + Moon and Star (Nerevarine in my oc Red-Tail; not mentioned here bc I haven't played enough Morrowind) > Dark Brotherhood > Dragonborn
Sorry for the long rant

Chancellor,
Following up on my last ask, what do you think of Narsis Dren. Like I mentioned, every single one of my associates who has encountered him despises him. And from what I have heard his ego is bigger then Mannimarco's and possibly rivals that of Molag Bal (Also disregard any reports you have been getting of a Khajiit with glowing eyes, the less you ask about that particular matter the better)
I had, in fact, met Narsis Dren.
"I am an explorer of incomparable renown, the greatest delver into the most dangerous ruins of the past that had ever been!" he said.
Which was all nice, but that particular Ayleid ruin was on a private property of the Tharn estate and has for centuries served as our wine cellar with some extra security measures.
We didn't talk much that time, he gave me such a headache that I ventured into the "foreboding den of promising riches" myself, and when I emerged later with some liquid will to bother with nitwits, he was gone.
I ran into him years later in Reaper's March while I was gathering more information about Knhunzar'ri. He insisted that I could be his "assistant" while he searched the archive for... I don't know what exactly, and honestly I didn't care. The last I saw him, he was trying to get the Pendant of Lunar Flight off while he was hovering under the ceiling. I noticed only because he stopped getting under my feet for three minutes.

Updates and Holidays
Fredas, 20th of Evening Star, 2E 24
First of all, apologies for being inactive. I’ve started a new job, and I’ve been all sorts of busy lately. My practice has taken a backseat because of that. I haven’t even been wearing my devotional jewelry, as in the line of work I do, it can be damaged easily. (I work with dogs, if you’re curious.) I still talk with Hircine and Hermaeus Mora and leave offerings, but I have not been practicing beyond that.
Today is Molag Bal’s summoning day. I do not worship nor do I work with Him, but I acknowledge this day as I do with all the Princes’ summoning days.
As this year comes to a close, I have to mention the Nirn equivalents of widely celebrated Earth holidays. The 25th of Evenings Star is Saturalia, which is the Breton’s Christmas or Yule. I will be celebrating by decorating my tree and giving gifts.
I know for a fact I will be receiving a 3D printer, as I was asked which one would be the most suitable for me. With this, I’m hoping to create replicas of the Daedric artifacts to adorn my altars with, and also make miniature statues of the Princes I work with.
We will also hopefully have snow tonight, so I might seal some up for the lesser known Nordic Wintertide Festival if any sticks to the ground. This holiday is only mentioned through an item from ESO, from what I’ve seen on the UESP, so it’s unknown why the Nords do this. But I’d still like to partake, and maybe use the melted snow for a spell or something afterwords.
For the second half of the Imperial Old Life Festival, on the 30th and 31st, I will be working. However, I will try to spend some time reflecting on memories of passed loved ones at the very least, if I do not have time to write anything down for them.
The first day of the new year will be the New Life Festival, and also Clavicus Vile’s summoning day. I don’t work with or worship Him either, but as stated above I will still acknowledge His day and say a few words for Him.
The New Life Festival also has a bit to do with Hircine and His wolf and bear forms. Storihbeg, His wolf form will attempt to eat the sun and keep nights longer, so the Reachmen will summon Hrokkibeg, His bear form to constrain Storihbeg.
It is said New Life is viewed negatively by werewolves, since the days become longer and the nights shorter. As a werewolf, I can see why, but I will still be celebrating the new year. As of now, I have no “resolutions” or goals, besides getting back into my craft.

Verandis Ravenwatch
Sorry for the late response! I was at a convention all day today!
First impression
So my literal first impression was that he was a dunmer. The vampirism went straight over my head until I met Gwendis on the balcony (and even then I didn’t connect it to him somehow) lol. But other than that I remember liking him right of the bat because I liked his voice and demeanor.
Impression now
He’s my dormant blorbo. He’s probably one of if not my favorite character in eso, and him/the Ravenwatch and his sacrifice was probably the first time in the game I got really invested in the characters. He (almost) single-handedly made Rivenspire the peak of the Daggerfall Covenant. I was devastated. I eagerly await seeing him again (I know he shows up in Greymoor (I think?) but I don’t know how) and when I do I will go feral. I would die for him.
Favorite moment
Either when you go into his memories with him or when Montclair holds Gwendis hostage and he gets upset about it (for now)
Idea for a story
Not so much an idea for a story as much as saying that I was disappointed that he gave himself up to Molag Bal at the end of the Rivenspire quest only for him to not show up, be mentioned, or even alluded to while you are in Coldhabour. I know they do more with him later that I don’t know about, but I feel like that was a missed opportunity.
Unpopular opinion
I’ve generally avoided looking at anything fandom related for him to avoid spoilers so I wouldn’t know what’s popular or unpopular. Like, at all. So I don’t have an answer for this one.
Favorite relationship
For now, him and Gwendis. I like how he talks to her like a genuinely caring mentor type figure, and the way she reacted to him sacrificing himself made me genuinely sad. I got the vibe she had a small crush on him, which I thought was kinda cute too (although I don’t know if they’re gonna keep that vibe up later on)
Favorite headcanon
I’ve never really formed any solid headcanons for him on account of being aware I don’t know all there is to know about him, but I have read a handful of Rivenspire focused fics and I generally am down for anything angsty with him.
Ty for the ask!!

I think lgbt writing in non-lgbt/romance themed games is absolute dogshit. The insertion of it is always so hamfisted.
I mentioned it to a friend last night and we spent an hour coming up with examples. He mentioned some shit with vivec and molag bal which was pretty good ngl but, from my limited knowledge of elders scrolls, you have to go out of your way to find that.
However, I think it says something when the best one I can come up with is boredlands pre-sequel. Not 2, the one everyone likes, presequel, the one I never see mentioned even though the character writing and everything else is better. The best LGBT rep I found in a game was someone saying "yeah we don't like [character] coming into the bar, she keeps talking to me and getting a bit too close"*
And it was in fucking borderlands.

HI MEG!! <3 Thank you for the ask~
✑ First big aspiration (i.e. what did they want to be when they grew up?)
You know . . . uh . . . . Vigdis didn't really get to . . . think about that. Consider it, even, if you will. Although I suppose becoming a vampire hunter to avenge your dad is . . . something! Except it wasn't really her choice WHEEZE
✑ First time they took a risk, or the biggest risk they've ever taken
Oooo. Hmmmm. How to answer. Vigdis has taken many risks, and more recently they've been, well, massive. I daresay it's because of Serana that she's even more reckless than usual, although I won't spoil how [because if you know, you know. >:3c]
✑ First physical contact (handshake? hug? something else?)
If I remember right . . . "The redhead fetched a rusted key from her pouch and unlocked the irons around the brunette’s wrists—who struggled to not notice the brief grips of warmth from the freckled fingers around her pale arms. How could Vigdis look and act so cold, and yet be so warm to the touch?" [Petrichor, Chapter IX: One Condition] Make of that what you will. -w-
✑ First attempt at worldbuilding, or a notable piece of worldbuilding you're proud of
OH I really love how I've thought WAYYY too much about vampires in the world of Elder Scrolls. Sort of. Y'see I imagine that Harkon is actually a lower tier Vampire Lord because, well. They mention that only WOMEN are offered to Molag Bal on his summoning day and become Daughters of Coldharbour, so, for me, that puts Harkon on a lower rung beneath his wife and daughter. Thus, the extra tension. And it also allowed me to make the Harkon fight that much cooler because I expanded on it in a sense, hehe. I also believe that vampirism is a disease in the very literal sense! There are some who try to take on vampirism, but their body rejects it, and they . . . die instead. It simply doesn't take for whatever reason. Man I hope one of these other asks picked this because I could go on about Dragonborn things and a Skaal thing and--
