WUWA ( 2021 ) - part 2

WUWA housing exhibition (German. Wohnungs- und Werkraumausstellung = Housing and Workplace Exhibition) in Wrocław - organized in 1929 by the Silesian Deutscher Werkbund union in the Dąbie district near Szczytnicki Park and on the fairgrounds adjacent to the Centennial Hall.

Heinrich Lauterbach, founder of the Silesian Werkbund union, contributed most to the organization of the exhibition. Together with Adolf Rading, he took over the artistic direction of the exhibition.

The goal of WUWA was to present proposals for small and medium-sized apartments, a new form of houses, taking into account technological aspects. The buildings built were to be low-cost; efforts were made to ensure that each apartment user would get his own place, isolated from others.

📸大和文華館“文華苑” [ 奈良県奈良市 ] ② Yamato Bunkakan Museum's Garden, Nara ーーモダニズム建築でも庭屋一如。高円山・春日山をのぞむ丘陵地に #吉田五十八 が設計を手掛けた美術館の庭園。 ...... 続き。美術館の構想がはじまったのは佐伯勇の前任・種田虎雄が近鉄の五代目社長をつとめていた頃。 美術史家・矢代幸雄（初代館長）の下でコレクションの収集がはじまり、現在では約2,000点の美術品のうち“松浦屏風”をはじめとして #国宝 を4件、 #国指定重要文化財 を31件所蔵。 . 主には日本及び東洋美術品が所蔵・展示されていて、今回訪れた時の企画展『文字の魅力・書の美』では“源氏物語浮舟帖”など幾つかの国指定重要文化財のほか、“寛永の三筆”近衛信尹、本阿弥光悦、松花堂昭乗の作品、小堀遠州、金森宗和、片桐石州といった作庭家・茶人や狩野探幽、尾形光琳、尾形乾山といった美術家の書が展示。 あと江戸時代後期の #鈴鹿連胤 という方の作品が気になったので調べたら…現在は『重森三玲庭園美術館』となっている京都・吉田神社の社家・鈴鹿家の当主（神官）だった。 . 開館50周年を迎えた2010年（平成22年）には大規模な改修工事（耐震工事）を実施。その際のランドスケープデザインをPLACEMEDIA／プレイスメディアが担当。アプローチの白砂と建築のなまこ壁の組合せが美しい。 その一角には大きなしだれ桜“三春の瀧桜”も。文華苑は桜のみならず、一年中花が楽しめるように植栽されています。 また文華苑の入口（チケット売場脇）には辰野金吾建築の『奈良ホテル』の元ラウンジの一部がこの地に移築されています（文華ホール）。施設利用じゃない公開日があったら見たい…そうでなくても、文華館・文華苑はまた訪れたい名建築です。 ・・・・・・・・ 🔗おにわさん紹介記事： https://oniwa.garden/yamato-bunkakan-museum-bunkaen/ ーーーーーーーー #japanarchitecture #japanesearchitecture #modernismarchitecture ‪#japanesegarden #japanesegardens #jardinjaponais #japanischergarten #jardinjapones #yoshidaisoya #モダニズム #モダニズム建築 #日本庭園 #庭園 #庭院 #庭园 #学園前 #奈良庭園 #naragarden #placemedia #プレイスメディア #japanmuseum #docomomo #docomomojapan #ランドスケープ #おにわさん #oniwasan (大和文華館) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLLdYqogqS5/?igshid=afqzuwavehjx

In 1988 the pritzker prize was 10 years old and they celebrated with a double condecoration. One winner from the south: Oscar Niemeyer • Niterói Contemporary Art Museum.

"My First Pritzker" is a list of all the winners of the Pritzker Prize, one of most important prize in architecture that each year is given to honor a living architect for his built work. It had begun in 1979 with Philip Johnson and has finished in 2018 with Balkrishna Doshi.

📸大和文華館“文華苑” [ 奈良県奈良市 ] Yamato Bunkakan Museum's Garden, Nara の写真・記事を更新しました。 ーーモダニズム建築でも庭屋一如。高円山・春日山⛰をのぞむ丘陵地に #吉田五十八 が設計を手掛けた美術館の庭園。 ...... 「大和文華館」は1960年（昭和35年）に近畿日本鉄道（近鉄🚃）の創立50周年事業により開館した美術館。当時の社長は先に紹介した『旧佐伯邸』の佐伯勇。 近代～昭和を代表する数寄屋建築家・吉田五十八の手掛けた建築は“DOCOMOMO JAPAN選定 日本におけるモダン・ムーブメントの建築”にも選定されています。 . 2020年秋に初めて訪れました。訪れる前の期待値では村野藤吾の『佐伯邸』の方が高くて、大和文華館は吉田五十八の中ではモダニズム建築の要素強めの大型建築だから（これまで感動してきた個人邸とはまた性質が違う）、そんな感動するような心構えじゃなかったんだけど――いやー、やっぱめちゃくちゃ感動してしまった。 . この大型建築でも #庭屋一如 を体現していると思った。庭園“文華苑”は決して日本庭園ではないけれど、この丘陵地の自然をこの建築に見合うだけ残し、アップダウンある園路では季節の花木🌲🍁が楽しめ、そして高台からは高円山・春日山と日本書紀にも登場するという“蛙股池”をのぞむ。決して建物が勝ちすぎてない、ランドスケープが活きてる。 . 建物内は撮影禁止だけど、開放的な建築の中でも体現されている和風建築…展示室内の坪庭“竹の庭”もとても印象的で、“竹の庭の美術館”という愛称も🎋 . もっともこのロケーションを選んだのは #佐伯勇 らしいので、『旧佐伯邸』のロケーションともども佐伯勇自身にも景色を切り取るセンスがあったというか…佐伯勇好みだったんだろうとも思うけど。でも「やっぱ吉田五十八すごい…」ってつぶやきながら文華苑を回遊していた。俺だー！ 続く。 ・・・・・・・・ 🔗おにわさん紹介記事： https://oniwa.garden/yamato-bunkakan-museum-bunkaen/ ーーーーーーーー #japanarchitecture #japanesearchitecture #modernismarchitecture ‪#japanesegarden #japanesegardens #jardinjaponais #japanischergarten #jardinjapones #jardimjapones #японскийсад #yoshidaisoya #モダニズム #モダニズム建築 #日本庭園 #庭園 #庭院 #庭园 #学園前 #奈良庭園 #naragarden #placemedia #japanmuseum #docomomo #docomomojapan #ランドスケープ #おにわさん #oniwasan (大和文華館) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLJ6XnFgGWI/?igshid=1awpezsr730os
