The universe of Bandori has a higher rate of autism and other kinds of neurodiversity than the real world.

Tae, Moca, Eve, Aya, Maya, Hina, Ako, Rinko, Nanami, Mashiro, Rokka and Tomori are all on the spectrum in one way or another.

Kasumi, Moca, Maya, Hina, Ako, Hagumi, Kokoro, and Chu2 could all have some form of ADHD or ADD.

The reason that a lot of wacky stuff occurs compared to the real world, is that people with ND traits affect the world more, and I mean this in a good way. An example of a thing that only occurs in Bandori is a billionaire girl who cincerely wants to make the world smile. Real billionaires don't work like that :P

THE TIME HAS COME EVERYONE. ITS TIME TO TALK ABOUT MY EXTENSIVE LIST OF TABI HEADCANONS (hcs are under the cut plus this also counts as a little debrief of his human design bc jesus christ i put so much effort into making this man's design it went through a LOT of trial and error before settling on what i got now considering ive gradually made him less and less "human")

also quick thing b4 i proceed – please please PLEASE ask before making things w my tabi design bc ive seen a rlly cool papercraft made w/o my knowledge and that was kinda sucky so ya thats around it (other than the basics of no nsfw and such)

APPEARANCE HCS

first and foremost — hes half japanese because i remember his aside counterpart being japanese iirc and i thought that was really cool and wanted to implement that into my own little hc (also he speaks like a dozen languages bc of another thing i'll go into detail with in a bit

so many different facial features, scarring (theres a very elaborate reason for this tbh), moles, freckles, etc all bc why not?? (freckles is primarily bc of my bestie crow and now im obsessed)

lashes bc why not, give every man a pair of lashes i think theyre pretty

PIERCINGS. so many piercings. this is primarily because i am a very firm believer that tabi gets piercings done because he wants to feel human again so he finds comfort in decorating himself as much as possible for that reason and also the aesthetic

broken horn bc of the mod events, damage beyond repair and whatnot

HE HAS LONG HAIR BC I SAID SO ‼️‼️ i figured considering he's been invisible for so long he never really knew what to do when it came to cutting his hair, so eventually it grew out to around his waist, and he kept that hairstyle ever since (he prefers wearing his hair in a ponytail or smth bc sensory issues when it comes to hair touching his skin)

a lot of tater's hcs infected my brain hehehehehe especially the tail and his hands still being what they were when they were cursed (also. paw beans. /vpos)

HES TRANS ‼️‼️ hes also very dumb and has very little regard for his health and forgets to take his binder off a lot (trust me he gets scolded a lot for that)

GENERAL HCS

hes autistic and has adhd — the autism hc i lowkey stole from crow but the adhd hc ive had for a long long while now — one of his lifelong special interests is performing arts and musicals

chronic insomniac — sleep? never heard of her

plays like 5 different instruments but primarily specialises in piano and guitar

safe food is anything sweet or chocolatey — he has a massive sweet tooth and is obsessed w cookies and pastries in particular which ayana baked for him a lot (ill prolly make a whole other post for her in the near future but guys. pastry chef aya. hear me out)

an absolute boss at board games, especially monopoly, and he constantly loves screwing everyone over

extremely hyperfixated on pokemon and owns a bajillion folders filled with cards worth a buttload of money, and a dozen plushies + figurines (projecting bc pokemon is one of my hyperfixes dont judge me) his fav gen is absolutely johto

his eyesight is pretty bad but like. not bad enough for him to be needing glasses (unlike a certain someone cough cough agoti)

speaking of said certain someone, he and agoti do each other's hair a lot simply because its really fun and provides some stimulation, and also because it helps tabi practice with self care and such

VERY SENSITIVE TO SOUND AND TEXTURES, often times he will probably start crying if something sounds or feels wrong

sometimes he forgets certain words in english and has to resort to using what theyre called in russian

has the goofiest sounding laugh ever and i will die on this hill. when you get tabi cackling he will start rolling on the floor and making the most UNGODLY sounds

can speak like 6 languages fluently and a dozen others in simple conversation (NERD ALERT)

he sucks so hard at writing essays but is (for some reason) really good at maths

despite being the more serious one among his group of friends, tabis a dumbass and does a lot more stupid things than one would expect

Rules:

1. No explicit content. I am an adult, and I'm okay with some mature language and themes, but if it starts getting too far, I'll let you know. In general, avoid graphic descriptions of body parts and intimacy, but when in doubt, just pretend we're co-writers for a TV-14 show. For my muses under the age eighteen, this rule is obviously much stricter. Pretend you're talking to a younger pre-teen sibling (since I unfortunately know how inappropriate casual conversations can become in high school). Both of them happen to be asexual, so you can discuss that to an extent, but anyone who sends them sexual comments or asks invasive questions on the matter will either be given a warning or blocked on sight depending on the severity of said action.

2. No God-Modding/Auto-Hit/etc. unless we discussed it ahead of time. Of course, if I reblog an RP meme that invites you to hurt or control my muse, you can temporarily ignore this rule to an extent.

3. Please plot with me. I don't like going into RPs completely blind. We don't have to work out every detail, but I'd at least like to get the basic gist of your character and the type of plot you want before starting anything. If I have no idea what our muses' relationship with each other is like, I'm not going to respond to any starters you send me. I also reserve the right to turn down certain plots and/or characters I'm not interested in interacting with.

4. Please be patient with me. Between real life and other RPs, I may not always respond right away. I don't expect you to either. That being said, Tumblr is a highly dysfunctional app, and if you're worried that I may not have gotten the notification for your response or mention, feel free to PM me and ask! Especially if you notice I haven't been active on the dash; I can't count the number of times I've only seen a reply or something I was tagged in because of my addiction to dash-scrolling.

5. Please don't interact if you're below 18. This rule doesn't necessarily apply to following or sending asks to my underage muses, where there shouldn't be any NSFW content, or the occasional SFW headcanon that might get spread beyond the rp community, but I will block any minors I find in my notes engaging with my content for adult muses directly. For my own comfort, I will not write with any muns who are minors, regardless of our muses' ages. I also won't write adult/minor or large age gap ships.

6. Feel free to reblog anything from me except RP threads that you aren't part of. This is for my writing partners' comfort, and other than that exception, I couldn't care less about my notes getting clogged or reblog karma or whatever... I've literally had people reblog my bios and plot wishlists, which was weird but not upsetting. Although, on the topic of reblog karma, if I notice that you only use me as a resource blog without showing any interest in my muses, I won't block you, but I'm probably not going to be super motivated to RP with you either. When interest is shown though, I love being reblogged from so I can see how our muses relate or to send you asks as well!

7. Given that most of my blogs are for OCs, I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty OC-friendly. I'll RP with any well-written character that I can see my muses interacting with. For crossovers, I don't have any outside verses for my muses, and I'm not the biggest fan of multiverse plots between different franchises, but I'm definitely up for writing with AU versions of your muses as long as they fit within the world enough for me to not be distracted by it. For example, I probably wouldn't write with a Dragon Age version of Swiftwind from She-Ra, since animals don't talk in that universe, but I might be more open to it if Swiftwind were possessed, since there was a demon who communicated through an animal host in one of the games.

8. Please tag the blog you want to interact with when mentioning me. Hopefully, I'll see it eventually if you don't, but Tumblr tends to not shoe that I have notifications for this main blog unless it's for messages.

9. I write any length from conversational to multi-para. I'll generally try to match your length, but don't feel like you have to do the same. In fact, shorter responses are often less overwhelming to me for that very reason. I'm prone to letting the words take over occasionally, but as long as you give me something I can respond to, we should be good. 👌

I'm not going to give out my real name, but you can call me pretty much any variant of my blog or muse names. Raven was a popular one on my old blogs, because she was my first Tumblr muse, but if you want to call me Distant, Hawke, Laim, Swelter, etc., go for it. I'm also giving Spook a try as an official online nickname if you want to use that. As mentioned in my blog description, I'm 23 and use they/them pronouns. I currently work full-time, but my hours are inconsistent, so my schedule is constantly subject to change. My time zone is PDT, so I'm usually running at least a few hours behind everyone else, and I don't have the healthiest sleep schedule. From my interactions with mutuals whose time zones I'm familiar with, though, y'all don't either. Please know that I mentally calculate what time it is for you, and I do get concerned that so many of you regularly stay up until 3 a.m. or later. Everyone always says Aya has been my aesthetic 100%, I love the colors used for him, the style and designs are perfect. The demon backstory is one of my favorite tropes and as a sucker for super hard angst, it has everything I love.

least favorite thing about them

That Puyo currently ignores everything about Aya. It sucks. Especially with merch and content. They give none. So my least favorite thing is the suffering of no content. Not even PPQ content.

People know I’ve been on my Schezo and Aya bullshit. They have a dynamic that could easily be close friends, if SEGA stopped being cowards and let them interact. I cracked the code of why it feels they would be such good friends to me with “Schezo and Aya are both vampirecore”. It also helps my friend Kel has been the main driving force to keep making Schezo and Aya content, we bros man, we bros. They both old emo boys.

OTP

Okay I need to explain myself with this one. I ship Aya(the spirit) with Satan, not Strange Klug. When ever I ship them it it’s Aya with his own body, that was also made by Satan, not Strange Klug. 

Over time for Satan getting to know Aya, he starts to learn his wrongdoings being so adamant with Arle and needing to move on from his madou past. Aya helps him realize this. They have a fun chaotic energy together too as antagonists who cause trouble. 

(A lot of this is stemmed from my boyfriend being mod Satan-sama from EPPC)

Alright time for the unpopular opinion. I don’t like Sig/Aya. I’m from the era of don’t like don’t look, so I don’t police it but I will admit it is my nOTP. My reason is I just don’t think Sig would be comfortable romantically with Aya and also my Headcanon of them more like very long distant twins. It’s also like Nea and Mana from D.Gray Man to me.

Aya is slowly but surly understanding modern language thanks to Klug and the others. He’s like Schezo when it comes to being misunderstood by others. He tends to use older word meanings that have changed over time and ends up sounding creepy. One day Maguro will teach Aya Poggers and make him feel like an extra boomer.

unpopular opinion

Besides the Sig/Aya thing, I will die on this hill; Aya isn’t evil. He isn’t this villainous evil being, he wears his emotions on his sleeves, emotionally driven and his negative emotions are strong. The whole reason he got sealed was due to Hydrangea’s pent up anger and toxic feelings towards the humans that were starting to become dangerous thoughts. Being sealed in darkness forever caused him to act out. Aya himself isn’t some Disney villain.

Cut to the hospital, where Aya is sobbing and apologizing profusely, while Hina tries to reassure her that she's fine (if a bit bored from being stuck in a hospital bed).

He already knows his significant other is unmistakably gorgeous. But that doesn’t stop a sly smile on slipping onto his features. However, when his eyes flit to the exposed skin on his s/o’s body to the gawking onlookers, he wishes his partner would have worn something less revealing. 

Kamui drapes a jacket over their shoulders despite their protestations. 

“My, (name), don’t you look tired. Why don’t you stay in the shade while I go get us something to eat?”

It’s actually an excuse for him to maim anyone without any hindrance from his partner. He especially makes sure to break most of the bones of anyone whose gaze lingers on his s/o for too long.
