FAQ

Who are you?

You can call me Temmie! I use he/they pronouns! I am absolutely fascinated by the history of Cartoon Network and it’s subsidiaries. My plan for this blog is post any bumpers, shorts, and promos that I find and wish to archive for myself!

How do you choose what bumpers to post?

Anything I find cool or interesting I archive!

Are submissions allowed?

Yes! So long as they’re media surrounding CN and it’s sister channels. Maybe later down the line I’ll expand to other animated networks, but for now, just CN

Are all of the dates factual?

As factual as they can be! A lot of these bumpers don’t have documented dates easily accessible! Meaning I have to go searching for them myself. If I can’t find a distinct year that it was aired after some digging, I decide based off of clues such as: Cartoons featured in the bumpers, marketing style, slogans, other bumpers in the same style that do have dates, the era it’s associated with, etc etc.

While this does mean that there could be some wrong dates (that will be updated if I’m able to find the correct ones) I always try my hardest to get as close as I can with the information available! The history of this stuff is fascinating to me after all, I want to do it justice.

Will you post anything outside of CN related stuff?

Sometimes! If I think it’s cool enough! But they will be tagged as marked below. Occasionally I’ll answer an ask here or there about something unrelated and talk about my own opinions or thoughts on something if given the chance. Any asks I do answer will be tagged accordingly.

How do you organize your posts?

Every post is tagged with the era it came out in, any specific slogan/series name (ie Victor Battle) if associated, and the predominant shows in the content. If you were to be looking for a specific piece of media, asks are always welcome! I’ve got a borderline encyclopedic knowledge of a lot of CN advertising.

Mod Skye (#mod skye, Any pronouns) - Sprail (mutant indigo, anger issues. Loves stabbing, moirails with Cameri. Hates Roanis with a burning passion. Not black, just wants him dead.) - The Nameless. (Cult leader, knows Sprail personally.) - Miskus (Started as a joke character, bee themed goldblood, how original. Now depressed and tragic. Matesprits with Mallum.)

Mod Scaredy (#mod scaredy, She/They) - Cameri (Moth themed olive blood, eats lightbulbs, is considered nice for a troll, is colorblind, plays cello. Moirails with sprail.) -Mallum (purple blood, very protective over friends, doesnt really like the kids, matesprits with miskus) -Praeda (Cerulean, very obsessive, ex-friends with mallum and miskus, has unrequited flushed feelings for mallum, jealous of miskus) -Zieana (fuschia, absolute perfectionist, everything must be even, fistfights highbloods on the regular. Matesprits with Maya) -Maya (gets bored easily, enjoys sports, usually only talks to zieana. oh baby it’s ALWAYS a thing!! 

the johnkat server has been running since September, and isn’t closed off for any reason! me and a few other mutual have made multiple (still open) links for our followers, and every month or so I remember to post a new one for all the recently joined so that you’re given the opportunity to join us and talk about johnkat (among other stupid things - we’re ridiculous on tumblr and we’re ridiculous on discord lol). 

everyone and ANYONE are allowed into the discord, so as long you follow the few rules we have (which is mostly about respect) and you’re not there to troll. keep in mind, the server IS focused around johnkat, but it doesn’t have to be if you don’t want it to! (we have multiple channels which include one for games, other hs related ship art and regular art, and just whatever temmie or you guys prompt me to create for what you want.) the server also isn't age-restricted (so no sexual art because not everyone is comfy with that) but we do swear, sometimes go into heavy topics, and do post heavily-themed art (that we tag and spoiler accordingly, and you can read more in the rules of the discord if you join). overall, we’re really nice and are always looking for more peeps to join our little circle for some fun, so don’t feel nervous about joining because me or others will always give you a lil welcome!!!

To mod

The basics of underswitch is its a mix of a few aus. Like underswap and undertale and a little bit of aftertale. Most of The characters are genderbent. (Ps i need the gender kris identifies with the most) but with my own little twist. Story= here monsters won that war. Locked humans in mount ebott with nothing. They became very high tech. Here the monsters live on the surface and toriel and asgore never split. Asriel was killed from a act of vengeance from a monster but the killer was put in the barrier.

Names for au characters

Frisk: Friskta (i made her female) same. Just female. Extrovert

Sans= Sanya personality pretty same. But tiny bit less lazy. Doesnt have short cuts. Introvert

Papyrus= Papi is a 5 year old extremely hyper and friendly extreme extrovert to put it simply

Undyne= undane is a scientist that stepped down from the royal guard after the monster human war Introvert he is easy to make blush has made many breakthroughs in biology. His most famous being project revival. A more successful version of undertales alpyhs dt experiment.

Alpyhs= alp swears like a drunk sailor is the new head of royal guard. For him the b words a compliment extrovert

Toriel= tor is the king of town underground and husband to queen asrealya. Happily lives with his kids friskta and flowei. Mostly helps with the publicity extrovert

Asgore= Asrealya queen and main leader of town underground. Does the busy work Introvert very socially awkward when outside of home

Mettaton= Mette extreme Introvert. Extremely shy. She makes her brothers songs and insists that nabst takes all the credit since she doesnt want Anything to do with it. Quiet and kind when you get to know her. Only 14

Nabstablook= Nabst. Kind humble singer in town underground. His little sister makes his songs he makes the music that follows. He is usually busy helping others. Basically what a selfless person is. But prone to overworking himself

Muffet= Muffin more generous. But does employ some tackets. He wears specialty made glasses and is blind as a bat with out them. Usually found in hotland

Grillby= Grillbia a playful water elemental that runs a hybrid bar she got from her parents called aquas by she renamed it grillbias since it was a tradition to name the bar after the owner. Hired anoni to help out around bar.

Flowey= Flowei. She works as a the temmie shop. She has a artificial soul made by undane her bodys damaged from a virus that undane cured a year ago

Asriel= asrea. Daughter of the royal couple. When visiting the barrier a monster that was resentful towards humans and human loving monsters brutally attacked and killed her. A year later she awoke as flowei. A few genocide runs later she was given the artificial soul that lets her feel emotions. She has some guilt problems.
