ran walks with you anywhere. even if it's just you craving snacks at 1 am, you can 100% bet that she will get up at the ass crack of midnight just to run with you to the corner store. honestly, she just adores being in your company, but she'd never tell you that to your face. she secretly gets super excited when she realizes she's always your first choice for late night walks, but once again, denies it with her dying breath if you comment on how she's always eager to join you.

moca shares her food with you. it's actually astonishing how she never barks at you or immediately start complaining whenever you ask when you can have some of hers. hell, sometime she'll be the one to suggest sharing the first place. like she said herself, moca's too self absorbed to properly open up to people or ask for their help, so she hopes that while she sucks at conveying her affections for you, this should do it. she also just likes you too much to think it through in decent detail.

tomoe lays her hand on your back or wraps her arm around you when she senses you feel off. she has a calming presence and she's aware of it, so she takes advantage of it to make sure you feel alright. she wants to let you know that she's always there by your side when you need her, and something about the gentle smile she gives you afterwards that makes both of you wonder how you managed to land each other. after she feels like you've calmed down, she tends to run her fingers through your hair with a look that hints "better now?"

tsugumi texts you about anything and everything. you two have made a habit of texting or calling each other when getting home or when taking a detour from school, so whenever she notices you didn't text her when you usually do, she immediately does instead and asks "have you gotten home safely?" or "did you take another route back?". besides that, she always asks you if you've eaten a full lunch that day or if you've finished your schoolwork so you can read manga together later.

himari takes pictures of almost anything during random times of the day and sends them to you with a message stating "isn't the sky today so pretty?" or "look what i found at that store you liked! i'm getting matching ones for us 💕!!" and it never fails to make you smile. sometimes it’s keychains she found at the variety store, pictures of the tree, or short videos of the sky while walking home from haneoka.

you won't hear the end of it. you and her go on tons of dates at hazawa coffee or at a park... probably right in front of yamabuki bakery (and they're mostly just picking out and eating bread together)

she'll feed you her favorite bread. would share it too... and would probably will be one of the only people she'd share her buns to

probably you'd share jackets and hoodies too if you have any. i don't think she'd necessarily "steal" your jackets but won't give them back unless you pick it up yourself

she’s so grateful for you. she only had thoma to keep her company, and even then she felt really alone. dating you feels like a breath of fresh air, like sakura blooms flowing into the kamisato residence upon opening the balcony doors, like a cold glass of water on a hot day-- you’re great, and she loves you a lot.

you go out on dates a lot! she loves hanging out with you and gets really shy when someone recognizes her. she’s even more embarrassed when an old lady at a shop teases her for her “young love”. she gets really red and it’s cute.

it might seem a bit cheesy, but she writes letters to you often. some of them she’s given to you, most of them she kept to herself. she fears her words are too much and you might get put-off by how much love she has for you and how muc you mean to her (spoiler alert: you don’t. you love her just as much if not more)

she loves having dinner with you at the kamisato residence, but loves it even more when you go to a remote place somewhere in inazuma where it’s just the two of you and animals and birds around you. there’s a romantic feel to it, and the setting makes her heart flutter. whenever the sun or moonlight catches on your face and you look up at her, your eyes shine and she gets startled. she thinks you’re stunning.

you take her to places you like, and she takes you to places she likes.

she reads books a lot! she encourages you to read some, but if you don’t really want to, it’s fine. she does like to ramble about a story when she’s done reading it, though. and if you like reading as well, she likes exchanging books or book recommendations! you’re both regular visitors of the yae publishing house, and they’re glad for the money (except when you only buy one book and share it, in which case they can only get half of the money they would’ve gotten if you’d bought two...)

she likes reading to you out loud, and her voice is really peaceful. sometimes it puts you to sleep, and when she realizes she’s smiling softly, before tucking you under a blanket and bringing you a pillow. she doesn’t want you to be uncomfortable.

she’s the shirasagi himegimi-- which means she does have a busy schedule. she sleeps and wakes up at set times, eats meals at set times, trains at set times, and sometimes only has less than a few hours of leisure time. she sometimes worries that you might get tired of it-- but you don’t, and she finds herself sighing in relief when she sees you walking into the estate with thoma at your side and a box of sakura mochi in your hands, ready for the two of you to enjoy.

she loves you more than she loves anyone, that she can say for sure. she only hopes you love her as much as she does.

scaramouche:

he likes when you smile. wether you do it often or barely ever, it’s an expression he likes to see on you. he can barely allow himself to ever smile, but he feels his chest warm in a weird way knowing you can.

scaramouche is a cold individual, even while in a relationship. there’s no doubt that he has a soft spot for you and, obviously, acts differently around you, but he can still appear pretty distant sometimes.

deep down, he hopes you don’t mind. he hopes you won’t leave him, or won’t get tired of him. he apologizes when he’s unnecessarily mean to you with a chest tight with worries. he has a hard time allowing himself to show you that you’re special to him, and he sighs with the hope that you can deal with his attitude for as long as you both live.

he isn’t one to settle down with anyone. if he is with you, it’s because he loves you. for sure and certain, you can have no doubts about that. he loves you, and he doesn’t think that’s something that’ll ever change (as annoying as the thought may be to him). eternity is a word he’s used to hearing-- a concept he knows of very well, and while he isn’t too fond of it, he knows that for the eternity he has, he will love you.

as a fatui harbinger, he can be away really often. he sends you letters. they feel a bit formal, and a bit straight-to-the-point, but they’re so very him in a way that you love.

if he’s in his office in snezhnaya, and a fatui member brings him a letter addressed to him, he knows it can only be you, and he ushers the poor member out of the room with a dismissive hand, before he opens the envelope. he reads each word carefully and doesn’t realize he’s smiling before he’s done reading.

when you’re together, he likes to buy you things. he has a lot of mora, and he’s willing to spend it. he spends some on himself sometimes, but he already has most of what he wants and can get with money, so he figures he might as well buy you everything and anything you desire.

he likes the expression you have when he brings you something you wanted to buy. maybe that’s why he does it in the first place-- who knows.

he kisses you sometimes. it’s out of the blue, and it’s surprising, but you lean into it pretty quickly. when he pulls away he’s looking elsewhere, and his hat is conveniently tilted down. he despises the burning on his cheeks whenever you two kiss, but likes to do it anyways. the feeling of your lips on his is good, and he yearns for it often.

if you sleep next to each other, he’ll take a while to fall asleep. if you’re asleep already, he’ll watch you and gently touch your face. it’s at night that he thinks about emotions and feelings the most, and when his heart is laying right in front of him-- it’s hard to do anything else. so he stares at you and absentmindedly cards his fingers through your hair, thinking.

he thinks about you, the two of you, about the type of love you deserve, and about how many times you’ve thought of leaving him. he hopes it’s not a lot, but he thinks you would’ve left him already if you truly didn’t love him.

eventually he falls asleep with the thought of you in his mind, and his chest feels less tight-- almost reminding him of the days he could allow himself to feel more easily.

1. Bandori - Maya Yamato

cute girl, likes technology, plays the drums, has a unique laugh, wears glasses, not your average idol, I love her

a close tie with Moca here, I love that girl too

2. Marvel - Deadpool

a close tie with Spider-Man and Loki here, Deadpool wins because he’s the first Marvel character I was interested in enough to read comics with him

3. Doctor Who - 13th Doctor

I wish to be in DW someday, and she gave me hope I might play the Doctor once in the future

Reader x Moca and Himari?

I took this to mean both of them together, but if you wanted separate hcs for each of them, just let me know~!

It’s a bit intimidating, getting into a relationship where the other two are already so close and know each other so well, but your worries are quickly assuaged when they are so quick to rope you into all their arguments conversations

It’s not that they’re mean or argumentative people, just that they have different opinions on a lot of things, and they’re both very passionate and open about expressing their opinions to each other

Himari is really good about making sure you feel included though, to the point where Moca will tease her and ask if she’s a preschool teacher trying not to leave any of the kids out, to which Himari pouts and says that she would leave Moca behind on a field trip

But she would never leave you, she says, and ruffles your hair and pinches your cheeks like a little kid, making you laugh and Moca roll her eyes, but despite herself leaving towards Himari so she could play with her hair too

You find yourself trying to mediate a lot of really petty disagreements, but it’s not that hard, because all you have to say is “omg guys, it literally doesn’t matter who got on the train first, get over yourselves” and they’ll get embarrassed and shut up

Deep down, they’re actually very loving, sweet people, even if they express it diffrently

With Himari, you never have to worry about any day-to-day needs. She always makes you lunch with a cookie or some other sweet, and a cute note telling you to have a good rest of the day, and she misses you already, etc etc

She always has stuff like your favorite scent lotion, phone chargers, band aids, hair ties, anything you could ever need

Moca isn’t as motherly, but she complements Himari by making you laugh and making sure you both aren’t too stressed, which Himari tends to be

If you’re out walking and see something you want to buy, Moca just tells you to step back, because she’s got it covered, and she pulls out her point card wallet and gets it for you, bragging about how she didn’t have to spend a dime

(Himari: “But how much did you have to spend to get all those point cards????”)

Of course, if Moca had her way, you would never go out anywhere, just stay inside and cuddle and sleep

You compromise by promising to watch some of Himari’s tv dramas with her, and you get comfy on the couch and Moca falls asleep on your lap in about three minutes

You and Himari have a game where you try to balance stuff on Moca while she’s asleep, or draw on her face

You ask if Himari thinks it’s mean, because she seems like such a sweet person, and Himari tells you that while she’d never do anything like this to you, Moca has long since given up her right to kind treatment

Even though on the surface you seem like you tease each other, argue, and generally act really petty all the time, you actually really love each other and have each other’s backs, which is the most important thing

MITAKE RAN // FLUFF - DATING HCS

in terms of affection, ran didn't think it would be that big of a thing, and wasn't into the idea at first. she didn't mind hugs since she often got hugged by the rest of afterglow, and it didn't feel much different to her when they had a romantic intent. however, her view on physical affection changed pretty much instantly when you two began occasionally cuddling whenever she got back from practice. she hated to admit it, but she absolutely adored the feeling of holding you in her arms while unwinding after a rehearsal session, and cuddling with her became an almost daily occurrence and she eventually started initiating it, much to your surprise, when you two would both be on her bed talking about music, and all of she sudden she wraps her arms and legs around you from behind and lays her head on your shoulder.

kisses with ran are a pretty rare treat, more so because she gets extremely embarrassed about it, even when you're in private, so you're going to have to be the one taking the lead with these sorts of things. you always manage to catch her off guard every time you do so, making her struggle to form a sentence for the next two minutes. sometimes she can get herself to kiss you before you try and do so by trying to convince herself that "it ain't a big deal, we've done this before...". sometimes she gets too nervous, but on occasion she'd get over the anxiety and leave a quick peck on your forehead or cheek.

her main love language is acts of service and quality time spent together, as she loves having you by her side whenever practicing guitar late at night, and she's even more excited if you offer to sing with her. she'd be more than happy to teach your how to play the guitar if you ever ask to or are curious, and it's one of the rare times you get to see her ramble excitedly about something she loves. she'd be willing to spend as much time as you need teaching you if it comes to it. ran tends to get pretty irritable after the rest of afterglow find out about you, especially because of moca's endless teasing. "oooh~ check out ran being all soft and simpy for (Y/N)-chaaan, ah ha ha~". she will literally pop a vein LMAO

overall, ran can be kind of sarcastic and aloof at times, she's extremely loyal and can be surprisingly affectionate if you pull the right strings.
