Just like Frank Castle in the new DD, we're back in business!! This time, to celebrate Jon's first Emmy win for The Bear, we thought we could do something special by dedicating this new event exclusively to honor all his amazing TV roles.
Each day, we'll focus on a different character, except for one day that will be free to use for all the other characters that didn't get an exclusive day. You can create anything featuring only TV characters or their respective ships.

Jeremy Strong - Mob City
Once again needed more screen time. Thinking so many things every time he came on screen. I giggled and covered my mouth every time he spoke.

It’s funny that the Joe Teague’s tendency to wear his heart on his sleeve is both my favorite and least favorite thing about him.

Frank Darabont's Nightingale
What is it —
An animated horror anthology series that's hopefully helmed by the criminally underrated Frank Darabont and its focuses range from adult characters to teen characters to kid characters from episode to episode.
Tumblr media
PREMISE:
As with pretty much most anthologies, each episode is an individual story with a new setting and new characters although some details connect the stories with the main one being the titular character of Nightingale, a mysterious and masked story collector, appearing at the beginning and end of every episode to take and collect an object or item from the story at said end so they're never forgotten.
The storylines are not only incredibly dark and even intense in the exact same veins as Tales From The Darkside, Tales From The Crypt, Trick r Treat, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series and even most recently Guillermo Del Toro's Cabinet Of Curiosities, but also most of them usually serve as dark and twisted but also atmospheric and creative morality tales.
Plus, not only is the main stand-out being that the show ranges from having different aged protagonists for every episode such as one will focus on adults and the other will focus on kids but also the threat of death with the teen and kid characters is not implied but instead is both clear and permanent and in addition to all of that, death is not limited to the antagonists or minor characters with some stories even ending with the main protagonist(s) being killed.
Furthermore, while never directly stated, it will be heavily implied that the Nightingale is secretly somehow responsible for the events in every episode of the show although he's never one to do harm nor is he a threat but rather an observer.
Another thing is it will most definitely be heavily implied and even at times directly shown without ever hitting you over the head with it or shoving it in your face is that every episode of the whole show is set in the same rather twisted and horrifying universe as each other.
That all said and done, there will be a balance of good endings and bad endings with the good endings feeling the most earned and the bad endings being rather incredibly dark ends that stick with you.

EPISODES:
The Witches' Eve — A two-part series premiere that tells the story of a young 25 year old hearing impaired woman, Andrea Sudder, struggling to pay off a gambling debt owed to a supermodel/mob boss by the name of Gretchen Durchdenwald and give her 8 year old sister Sophie a good life as her caretaker. It's this ultimately that lands her in a cat-and-mouse game with Ms. Durchdenwald after discovering in the most horrifying and disturbing way possible that she's a witch and intends on making her her lover.
The Cat Who Won't Stay Dead — A sleazy and narcissistic crime scene photographer gets more than he bargained for when after accidentally killing his live-in girlfriend Mary-Beth, he's terrorized by her recently adopted pet cat no matter how many times he's killed it repeatedly.
Many Places All At Once — Five dysfunctional siblings, staying at a fancy hotel in Tampa, Florida, discover after an argument breaks out between them that the elevator is in fact a doorway to many other horrifying, nightmarish and downright surreal alternate dimensions and realities home to several different yet disturbing and vicious monsters and creatures with their own evil codes.
The Literal Highway To Hell — A young romantic couple in London, England making their way as criminals, back-stab their partner after a jewelry heist gone horribly wrong because of them and decide to make off with the jewels for themselves but get caught up in an almost time-loop of sorts as they attempt to make their escape from the police on their tails and are stalked by otherworldly spirits that are hell-bent on dragging them to the depths of hell as they have been damned.
Alone In The Dark All By Yourself — An obnoxious and spoiled Prom Queen is stalked in the woods by a demented killer targeting young girls at night but what seems like a generic set-up takes a more-than-unexpected turn when it turns out that this girl has a dark secret that no one could see coming and gives the killer a fun for his goddamn money.

NOTES/TRIVIA/DETAILS:
• All the characters who are bad people whether they'd be useless police, useless adults, abusive parents, assholes, random bullies and so on will get their well-deserved comeuppances. So that everything is fair.
• The show's violence is genuinely brutal and not done in any comical, cartoony, over-the-top and campy way so that it plays into the horror.
• The animation style in it is a mix of Ryan Ottley and Tony Moore's artworks with the latter's design for Andrea in Volume 1: Days Gone Bye of The Walking Dead (Comic Series) being used for Andrea in The Witches' Eve right down to the fact that her name and her sister being Sophie is a direct reference and call-bavk to that.
• There will be an unseen female narrator that like the Nightingale appears in the beginning and end of every episode and I want Holly Hunter to voice her.
• As for where this will be on and how long will it run, each episode is about a good two-hour length, the show will run for about three or five seasons and last but not least each season will be about 10 episodes.
