#it’s vitrnaetr this weekend and I’m excited dgmw but I was running thru my list of things to do before I leave Friday and like#gotta take my nail polish off!#bc while I trust the ppl running the event I don’t necessarily trust every single drunk dude in the middle of bumfuck MN who’s into vikings#and I just. :)#:)!!!!!!#I pass well and I’m glad I do pass well enough to do things like paint my nails and still be clocked as a man immediately#but there’s a difference between passing well in a city and passing well in the woods 2hrs from my home surrounded by intoxicated strangers#who may or may not hate ppl like me#and I have met some genuinely lovely ppl thru this group’s events + similar ones!!!! but this is just NOT the time or space to flag#as any variety of queer#idk this is hitting worse for me bc im camping there im not getting a hotel room#and this isn’t even getting into the fucking fact that I can’t go to a semi-religious celebration without fucking anxiety that if I don’t p#present masculinely enough i might die.
