This is the most accurate representation of Baxter as a human I have ever seen. Slimy and an utter creep of a man. Also, he's wearing a yellow tie and one the new toys has Superfly wearing the remains of a yellow tie...

Characters for the New TMNT 🐢

❥ Hello everyone! So this will be similar to my previous Kingdom Hearts posts where I’ll try to predict a few things for the future! It’s just for fun but I hope you guys enjoy! 💚

⚠️ Also quick warning, there are spoilers for the Mutant Mayhem movie & the Tales of the TMNT on Paramount! ⚠️

Casey Jones - Okay, so I understand there was a scrapped concept art for Casey Jones from the Mutant Mayhem movie. But whether Casey ends up being a boy or a girl, I really wanna see their friendship again! They always have good chemistry together, & I can imagine them meeting if Raph tries out for the hockey team at school! Jones is like the best player on the team so Raph has some beef. 😅 Not intentionally but I can see a rivalry happening (lol).

Karai - This was more of a what if moment but since the Shredder will likely appear in the sequel movie, Karai would be like one of those characters that turns good in the end. Likely because she never wanted to serve the Foot Clan in the first place. It would also be cool if she went to the same high school as the main cast, either before or at the end of the film.

Slash - This character was also what if moment, since Slash is usually a small villain. But I really like what the 2012 TMNT did, making him a hero during his arc! I feel if he did show up in MM universe, I can see him being a bit of an antihero at first? Or some kind of mutated crook before agreeing to help the turtles out.

Mona Lisa - Raph’s love interest I feel was pretty underrated until the 2012 version put their own spin on things! She’s one of my favorite characters & I’d love to see her again! For this version, I would like to see a human design since we haven’t seen that before! But then she gets mutated later on & perhaps that can be a new story in the future? With humans getting mutated too at some point.

The Rat King - So, I’m actually not so sure for this one? I know Splinter was the Rat King temporarily during the Tales of the TMNT show. But I did see a post, unfortunately I can’t remember where 😅🙏, but someone said that Bad Bernie might end up being mutated? I can see that, especially since he already looks like a rat or mouse. And he did come back after the East River 3 Arc.

Miyamoto Usagi - Okay this was a lot tougher than I thought. 😅 I understand Usagi is like from an alternate dimension usually? And for a funny spinoff series, that could still work? But maybe more on the science-style of things rather than the magic side? Like maybe TCRI makes a giant portal & the turtles get sucked into it. Landing in Usagi’s dimension by accident!

Venus de Milo - I have yet to see the 90s movies but I’m still a big fan of Venus de Milo! She is so cool & I feel she’s a good contrast to the boys. I’m not sure if she’d be related to them or not, but we can stick with the cousin thing for now. Anywho, for her backstory, I feel maybe she was another experiment from Baxter Stockman? Or maybe TCRI who wanted to recreate his project but she escapes! And meets the turtles!

Irma Langinstein - So I only know Irma from the 2012 version of TMNT, but if she were introduced into MM I feel there’s a lot of cool stuff she could do! Maybe she’s a human friend April makes or she’s some kind of ninja turtle fan girl (lol)! But so far I’ve seen people portray her as a super smart kid & becoming best friends with Donnie, which I like!

Edit: I’ve been reading the reblog tags and realized I completely forgot to explain the background behind this 😂 These goons were trying to take down the turtles by disguising themselves as teenagers–very cartoonish I know–but idk how well they did considering how quickly Leo figured them out lol. Since the guys are already at school I’m wondering how this would’ve fit into the first movie bc it definitely seems like something to come in the series/sequel

Second edit: I’ve seen another video with the creators explaining that the first draft of the movie had the turtles in school by the second half with Baxter Stockman as a teacher which makes this make more sense

I head canoned a while ago Leo 2012 would be a Captain America/Marvel fan and this video proves it for all the Leo’s basically 😏 and that’s using the term hc generously considering Leo’s are literally the Captain America’s of TMNT lmao

Okay random idea for a TMNT au, but it sounded good in my head.

TMNT: Turning Red-ish

Where the Hamato Clan at one point in the past, they gained the ability to turn into, well different anthropomorphic animals, maybe just to explain the Rat Splinter. But when a generation has a grouping of Turtle Tranformations (usually siblings), it's a sign that the foot clan are making another attempt to take over world, again, by summoning demons known as the Kraang/Krang.

Extra Mystic Abilities May Vary!

The brothers/sisters/siblings don't have to be the same species of Turtle or course.

As for the whole in hiding thing, some of the foot clan decided to just hunt down members of the Hamato Clan so they can actually succeed in their plan.

Let's say the main plot sets off with Splinter and the Turtles not knowing about the transformation thing, but are running from the foot clan (who may have killed their mom, either then, or in the past), and the boys transform for the first time, with Splinter also transforming to keep them safe.

They're cursed by the Foot to be stuck in their animal forms, and at first the Turtles think the forms are because of the Foot, but Splinter tells the Clan Backstory. Now they have to stop the foot, find a cure for the curse, and somehow still keep up with schoolwork remotely. With help from Friend/Sister Figure April, and Raphs teammate/friend Casey.

And if you want a more actual Turning Red type story. Similar backstory to above, but the Foot/Kraang are not really a big deal/thing anymore, so Animal Transformation is not really necessary anymore, but it still happens.

Michelangelo somehow doesn't know about the transformation thing, because when the others transformed for the first time, they were taken "Camping" to learn to control it. But because of timing Mikey can't go Camping, so it goes a little out of control at school.

The story kinda goes from there, April and Casey learning about the transformation thing, dealing with it.

Maybe the Purple Dragons, Baxter Stockman, and Bebop w/ Rocksteady are the main bullies, and cause chaos in the city, and the Turtles try to stop them, with Splinter not being fully into the idea, because their training isn't 'complete' or something. Plus the whole Government (Agent Bishop) might be evil. TCRI might be trying to resurrect the Foot/Kraang.

I don't know where to go from there, but the idea hit me, and I needed to get it out there. I'm just tagging versions that this idea might work with. Not really sure about MM, but maybe.

Show more of Donnie’s science/tech nerd side instead of just making him the video games and anime nerd stereotype.

I’m kinda hoping we get to see more of Raph’s personality outside of “the athlete”  and being obsess with fighting. Like does he have any other hobbies besides sports and beating people up??

CASEY JONES!!! Where’s my hockey son??! I miss him!! Bring him back!!

Maybe some April x Casey? It be nice to have a good April and Casey romance for once. Sorry Leo but I don’t see you and April becoming an official thing

If April and Leo don’t work out I hope he gets a new love interest who genuinely likes him back romantically *cough* Lotus Blossom *cough*

Speaking of mutants, I hope we get to see more mutant characters like Slash, Venus, Jennika, Rahzar, Tokka, etc.

Splinter’s backstory explored more? I know MM says he’s just a regular NYC sewer rat, but I feel there’s more to his backstory that we just don’t know yet.

Explore Splinter and April’s dynamic and friendship maybe?

I’m not convinced Baxter Stockman is dead. No way they killed him off that early in the movie. Theres probably gonna be a plot twist that he’s alive somewhere as a brain in a jar.

Probably a massive jump but I’d like to see MM’s take on Renet. I really like her character and I think she’d be a great addition to the cast.

Maybe Karai?? We know Shredder is coming so them meeting Karai could be a good way to start bringing in the Foot Clan into the story. She could be a student going to their school who’s undercover secretly getting info for Shredder. Also maybe instead of April x Casey they do April x Karai 👀

When from a far away Donnie saw someone balling his eyes out. 

“Dudes, there’s someone crying their eyes out over there.” Donnie pointed to where it was. 

“Maybe we should leave them alone?” Mikey shrugs.

“Let’s check the sewers. We can usually find our way back through them.” They head down and look around. When they come across a clear area. They walk in and see a group of turtles all sprawled out on the floor.

“Turtles? Did Baxter Stockman make more ooze before he died?” Donnie looked at the turtles laid out. 

“Should we talk to them?” Mikey asked. 

SLIGHT SPOILERS!!

This was when I was gonna write in the Mutant Mayhem turtles into the fic in chapter 6. When Rise Leo was freaking out on top of the building. I was gonna write that with Leo's freak out he opened a portal that opened to the MM turtles, cause he wanted his brothers there with him. But instead of bringing his brothers he brought a different version of his brothers, the Mutant Mayhem brothers! But then I decided that it was gonna be confusing on my brain writing three versions of the turtles, so I decided that I am going to write it in the second part of this story! That also means that even after I'm done with this fic another one is to come so that's exciting!

MM superfly theory

one thing thats been bothering me since the mutant mayhem trailers is when superfly opens the vans doors and sings "six in the morning police at my door", and this confused me cause as far as I've seen theres really no context for him saying this.

So I went sleuthing on genius lyrics and found the lyrics came from the ice-t song "6 'N the Mornin'" (kinda obvious but I don't listen to that genre of music so I didn't really pick it up). Essentially, the song is about the narrator running from the police and hitting the streets.

Automatically you can see the parallels between the song and superflys backstory, but I was still curious as to why it was referenced in such an odd place until it hit me. Superfly is trying to compel the turtles to follow him by referencing his backstory.

At six in the morning, tcri came into Baxter stockmans lab and caused the chain events that led to the turtles and everything that happens in the movie. Without superflys backstop and the police coming through his door, the turtles wouldn't exist, and tcri wouldnt have come if Baxter stockman hadn't created superfly.

Superbly is trying to tell him that without him they wouldn't exist, so they should be following him as thanks.

Idk if I'm right or not, but its a fun thought

Splinter’s secret (of the ooze)

A random mutant mayhem thought/theory I’ve kicked around lately, all starting from the voice announcement cards

Almost all of the voice announcement cards show a green glow from the ooze, but Splinter’s card is the only one that’s literally dripping with it.

This could suggest that the ooze and subsequent mutations had a profound impact on him; this is true for all splinters, esp 2012 and rise. For MM Splinter especially though, the impact and trauma of the ooze may be very pronounced for this iteration. As well there does appear to be some mystery to the ooze/turtles origins in this movie.

The turtles seem to know only the basics of their mutations, [April] saying that they “were baby turtles who came in contact with mystery goo.” Yet, there does appear to be lab/experiment indications for the turtles origins; Raph notably has a 6 printed on his shoulder, Baxter Stockman and the utroms are involved, and there appears to be at least one other turtle out there besides the boys.

There isn’t too much to go on, I believe Splinter may be keeping some details of his boys’ origins from themselves (likely to protect them). It’s possible there’s another explanation, but I would be really interested if they go this route. The lab/experiment origins idea is underutilized imo

Regardless im absolutely beggin the mm team to confirm this, i wanna see it please 🙏

Rise x MM AU ideas

Ok so Superfly dad was Baxter Stockman right? I was thinking about how he’d react to other versions of Baxter, then I remembered: in Rise we have Baxter Stockboy, a literal child.

What would Superfly think of him??? Would Superfly think he’s cool???? Would he think Superfly is cool????? Would he be protective of an alternate version of his dad????? Would Stockboy side with him??????? Would this turn into that one spiderverse meme with Peter B. and Miles????

I haven’t really thought too much about this I just had an idea and wrote it down for anyone who wants to hear
