Gord doesn't know how much sanity he has left but he's this(🤏) close to snap Valir into millions of pieces. Usually it's Vale who has the brains of the group but he sometimes can't help but to get into silly little arguments with the boy who controls the fire(s).. so it's ups to you who parts them away before Gord does. Hanging out with them never gets bored because Valir always has something to say even if it's random, and it's just you and Vale tagging along with him. Training sometimes gets a bit out of the hand, because you know..fire and wind. But in the end, they're both reliable friends, even if the three of you give Gord intense headaches, deep down he cares for all of you.

The part about Gabriel being seen as a hero who helped defeat Monarch don't even shock me anymore because it unfortunatelly makes sense for plot reasons, if the ml writters and producers want to keep Tomoe Tsurugi as a villain and leave Adrien out of trouble with the medias and parisians for a while (he would have faced a very difficult situation if his father had been officially revealed as a supervillain)

We don't know for sure if Gabriel being seen as a hero is part of what he whished, or if it was just the doing of Tomoe her best to clean heself out of this mess. Because of the pivotal role the alliances rings she and Gabriel created played in Monarch's final ultimate plan, something that would have been noticed by people at some point.

As for making Adrien either forget or ignore how awfull his father was, it's obvious they made it so there would still be room for some Adrinette drama in the future.

Think about it, part of what kept us interrested in the show was the love square, but with Adrien and Marinette fully dating and committed to each others, what love drama is been left ?

The truth about Gabriel being hidden from Adrien may play a role in a future temporary break up between Marinette and Adrien, and no matter how dissapointed some of us could have been with the season 5, we'll want to see how things will turn out after how they've been build up.

And also, let's not forget that the show would want to make us of the secrets Lila stole from Gabriel during Revelation. Lila didn't have the occasion to use those secrets against him in the last episodes of season 5, but there's no doubts she's gonna use those in season 6 to cause a situation that will be prompt to cause a lot of akumas, and that could mess with Adrien's relationship with Marinette.

Lila will need that at least to go against the power of the Lucky charms that can now purify akumas, as long as they are fueled by positive emotions. So what kind of situation would make parisians feel so much more negative emotions than positives ? Facing the revelation that the person they hailed as a hero and admired has in fact being villain that tormenteed them for so long.

For those who watched the Dark Knight movie trilogy of Batman from Chritopher Nolan, remember what happened during the second movie ? The one when the Joker managed to corrupt Harvey Dent, loved by all Gotham and look up to as a heroic figure ?

After Dent turned crazy and tried to assassinate Commisser Gordon family and died from this attempt, Batman and the Commisser were afraid that the truth about the beloved White knight of Gotham turned evil would cause chaos and riot among the Gothamians. That it would sent to waste the proof of humanity that two cargos bombed by the joker, one of condemned gothamian prisonners and one of civilian gothamian, just demonstrated a few minutes ago in the movie.

So to avoid that they lied to Gotham and made it seem that Harvey Dent died as a hero instead as a criminal, and that Batman was the one responsible for the prosecutor

And so what happened when Bane revealed the whole truth about Harvey Dent's in the third movie thanks to a a secret confession letter of Gordon ? Even so Gotham's trust in Batman had been restaured, Chaos rised in the city, and the Gothamian become fractured.

I can easilly imagine Lila wanting to cause that kind of chaos in season 6 in order to do a scaret moth kind of attack.

This season 5 ending wasn't a conclusion at all, it was all a set up for season 6 and 7.

Also I have the feeling that we haven't seen the last of Gabriel after season 5. Remember the kwatagama thing ? or the fact that some Akuma can create living nightmares, or that Time travel is still a sthing ? There still so many possibilities, and so many occasion to make Adrien stand up against his father's villainy and abusive actions in another context.

Say what you want about Parisians celebrating Gabriel for killing Gabriel or whatever, but honestly whenever I think about the fact that Gabriel died with the last memory of his son being Adrien sobbing and crying and pleading “mom would hate what you’re doing” and desperately trying to get away from him, and his last memory with Nathalie was of her literally attempting to murder him with a crossbow, I feel soooooooo good.

He died knowing the only two living people he had a semblance of care for despised him.

“suck.” his voice feels rough in his throat; he was barely holding it together at the sight of you wrapping your lips around his fingers. he takes his wet fingers to press into your wet hole, “fuck, you’re soaked.” you huff, indignant, but you whimper at the feel of his fingers scissoring you open.

looking at the few snippets we have of him, id say he’s very royalty, no nonsense, strict, and very much the type to actually follow through on the threat of washing your mouth out with soap if u swear

like rn i was reading “how to win my husband over” and i’d say viltrum mark is similar to that fuckass pervert brother (i want that guy to die but that’s neither here nor there)

believes you are his future queen and all that

but also believes in corporal punishment to make sure u don’t repeat your mistakes

doesn’t allow anyone but him to disrespect you or touch you

if someone even looks at you in a way he deems “wrong”, he’s gouging their eyes out

if you talk to someone for longer than he deems necessary, he’s ripping their head off and giving it to you like “look what you made me do”

seems very mild-mannered considering how coldly he talks, but like… no not at all. he’s insane

I received a free advanced copy of the book with the request for an honest review, so here is my honest review:

Omg omg omg I love this book so much!

I think the best part for me was Nico. As a nonbinary ace type person, you don’t really see yourself in romances (ever, I’ve never read a book like this before), and it was just so good and affirming! There are people out there who love people like me! It’s a possible thing! It might look like this! I don’t have to change who I am to find love and companionship! It was done so very well. It wasn’t all about the gender and sexuality, and it was never in spite of it. It was about the developing romance and how the characters fit together, like all good romances, and then it gave some lovely modelling for how to be sensitive and loving in various situations. The prose and plot were clear and flowed well, the secondary characters were amusing and often caricatured, and the humour was tender and vivid. I laughed out loud frequently! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, and particularly to ace or nonbinary people and their allies.
