Miraculous Descendent Chapter 74: Look at Me Now

Previous Chapter

Rose is desperately looking for Juleka. However, she can't seem to find the girl anywhere. The girl is in the park near the school. However, she still doesn't see her. As she's about to leave, she suddenly hears what she believes is Juleka laughing. Hearing that sound causes her to bolt toward it while wondering why Juleka is suddenly laughing. She peaks through some bushes but freezes when she sees who is actually laughing.

Instead of seeing Juleka being cheered up by someone or curled into herself, she sees Reflekta aiming her right hand at some innocent people before a pink beam fires from the tip of her hand-eye. Upon being hit by this beam, they turn into perfect copies of Reflekta, even down to the same height. However, these people seem to keep their sense of self as they look at their new appearances in horror and shock.

Rose gasps as Reflekta laughs with joy.

"Now, you'll never forget who I am! Because you'll see it every day when you look in a mirror!" She says in a proud tone that Rose has never heard come from Juleka before in her life.

She soon watches as Reflekta looks around before it seems like the Akuma spots her. Rose's eyes widen in horror as she quickly tries to back away but trips and falls onto her butt. As The quickly tries to get up, Reflekta jumps over the bushes and looks down at Rose, causing her to freeze in fear while staring into her friend's eyes. Reflekta sees this fear in the girl's eyes and something inside her stirs. She smiles at the girl before saying in a comforting tone.

"Don't worry, Rose. You're the only one who always remembered me." She tells the girl before walking past Rose, shocking the girl.

Rose quickly turns her head and watches as Reflekta heads toward the park gate, shooting anyone she sets her sights on as she does so. The girl soon realizes she's heading for the school and pulls out her phone to warn the others.

While she's doing that, Reflekta power walks toward the school with a determined expression. She knows who locked her in the bathroom. It's always the same person causing trouble in their class. It's the same girl who caused Rose to get Akumatized, too.

"You're going to pay for everything you did, Chloe." She growls out this promise while taking out some of her frustration on those trying to escape when they see her.

In the school courtyard, Miss Bustier's class is sitting around worriedly or in boredom, depending on the person. The ones primarily worried are those with the biggest hearts. Such as Marinette, Adrien, Sabrina, Nino, and Myléne. The others are doing their own things while waiting for Juleka and Rose.

"I hope the dudette's okay," Nino mutters while he and Adrien sit on a bench.

Anyone who wanted to help search for the girls was stopped and told to leave it to the school staff.

"Yeah." Adrien nods in agreement.

As the two talk about it on the bench, Marinette, Sabrina, and Nate are talking about it in a different light.

"See, this is why I think Chloe might have something to do with Hawkmoth. As much as I hate to admit it, she could be helping him. She had no reason to lock Juleka in the bathroom." Sabrina tells Marinette, already figuring out what happened upon learning someone blocked the stall door with a chair from Miss Bustier.

"Chloe is working with who now?" Nate immediately asks them in surprise.

"Sabrina thinks Chloe's father might be Hawkmoth since most of the Akumas have been from our school, and Chloe has caused a lot." Marinette quickly explains, causing Nate to blink for a few seconds.

"That makes pretty good sense, actually." He agrees with the theory before something comes to mind.

"Couldn't she also be being paid to do it, though? It's not like she wasn't a bully before Hawkmoth." Nate points out, causing Sabrina to nod.

"That could happen, too. But it still means Chloe has some connection to Hawkmoth, and we should watch her." Sabrina agrees.

"We can, but we shouldn't break into her room or anything like that. We don't know if she's actually working for Hawkmoth." Marinette tells Sabrina.

"You're right." Sabrina immediately nods

"At least we have a lead now. But I feel like it will end up dry, and you're just going to find out Chloe doesn't care." Nate bluntly tells the two.

"You never know, but I hope you're right," Sabrina says with a conflicted expression.

"Are you okay?" Marinette asks worriedly.

"Yeah. I'm just worried about how this happened to Chloe if she really is working with Hawkmoth." Sabrina tells Marinette.

Marinette remembers when she, Sabrina, and Alix were in a group, and Sabrina talked about her worries with Chloe. While she does that, Nate's eyes widen as if he suddenly remembers something.

"Right. You two were childhood friends." He says while snapping his fingers in realization.

He's gone to the same school as them for a long time and remembers how the two used to be very close before Chloe started to bully others.

"Yeah. I don't know what happened to us. It just started after Chloe learned about her mom." Sabrina sighs in sadness.

"Maybe we'll find out after investigating," Marinette tells Sabrina, giving the girl hope.

"I hope so." Sabrina nods before the three suddenly hear screaming near the school entrance.

Everyone looks toward the screaming with confused and worried expressions. Alix is even starting to inch toward somewhere to hide and transform. That is the right call, as Reflekta struts through the front doors like she owns the place and smirks at her class.

"Hey, jerks! It's payback time for you all forgetting me!" She shouts as she aims her hand at the group and fires a pink beam that hits Ivan.

The group is so shocked by what she did that it gives her time to hit a few others, including Sabrina and Nate.

"Great, this is like Lady Wifi all over again," Nate says as he looks at himself and realizes he and Sabrina got hit.

He can only be thankful he's not frozen this time while Sabrina realizes something horrible.

"I don't have my Miraculous!" She yelps in surprise as she desperately feels her neck for her collar, but it isn't there.

Marinette and Nate stare at her in shock and horror. While they do this, their remaining classmates run in different directions, alerting others in the school about an Akuma as they look for hiding places. Reflekta watches all this chaos with a grin before continuing to shoot at anyone in the courtyard or peaking outside from the classrooms. One of those magic lasers flies at Marinette, causing Nate to panic before jumping in front of her.

"Look out!" He shouts while taking the beam for his cousin.

Marinette and Sabrina shoot him worried looks, but nothing happens to Nate this time. Reflekta's attacks don't seem to affect anyone who's already gotten hit.

"Thanks." Marinette sighs in relief to her cousin before he ushers her out of there.

"Hurry up and go find somewhere to transform before she manages to hit you." Nate orders, causing Marinette to nod before running for the bathrooms.

While she does that, Sabrina runs for somewhere relatively private and has Barkk appear.

"Where is my Miraculous?" She asks the Kwami in an urgent tone.

"Gone." Barkk bluntly states.

"What!" Sabrina loses her composer completely to scream at Barkk.

"Well, not gone, exactly. It's more that you don't have access to it because a layer of magic is covering your body and preventing you from using it." Barkk explains to the girl, calming her down slightly but not much.

"Then, what do I do? How is that even possible?" Sabrina asks, not understanding how magic works.

"It's pretty simple. While the Miraculous use our powers, they're still of human creation. They have some weaknesses. One is that magic can cover them to stop wielders from using our powers. Besides, it's another Miraculous' magic covering you, anyway." Barkk explains with a nonchalant shrug.

"How can you be so calm about this?" Sabrina asks the Kwami while hearing people scream in panic as Reflekta enters one of the classrooms to find more victims.

"Because, pup. Three of you managed to escape in time." Barkk explains.

When Sabrina hears this, her eyes widen before she sighs in relief. However, she's disappointed in herself for being the only one who got hit and can't help.

With Reflekta, after turning an entire class into clones of her, she has enough fun and begins searching for her real target.

"Where are you, Chloe!? I know I haven't gotten to you yet!" She shouts for everyone in the school to hear.

"She's probably hiding since you decided to attack the entire school," Ladybug explains, being the first to transform and confront the Akuma this time.

Reflekta turns around to glare at the heroine.

"Ladybug. Are you going to stop me from getting payback on her?" She demands an answer from the heroine.

"I'm sorry for whatever Chloe did to you, but you're hurting innocent people, too," Ladybug tells Reflekta, causing the Akuma to growl at her.

"Innocent? They're not innocent! Everyone keeps forgetting about me! I can't even get a decent photo because of them! Do you know how frustrating that is? Well, I can tell you it's not as bad as knowing one of Paris' beacons of justice is protecting the girl who locked me in the bathroom." Reflekta says with a growl before she aims her hand at Ladybug.

The bug-themed heroine has to duck under her beam before rolling behind a bench for cover.

"I'm not trying to protect, Chloe. I'm trying to help you and protect everyone else." Ladybug tells Reflekta to try getting the girl to understand.

"Lies. She gets away with it so you and your sidekicks can enjoy the spotlight!" Reflekta angrily says as she keeps firing at Ladybug.

"That's not our intention." Ladybug continues trying to appeal to Reflekta while doing her best not to get hit.

While Reflekta is distracted with Ladybug, a newly transformed Brawling Tiger pops out of an empty classroom and sees Ladybug's current position. Glaring, she jumps over the second-floor railing with a loud thud upon landing and charges at Reflekta to tackle her. However, her earlier landing alerts the Akuma and causes her to turn to the tiger-themed heroine. She fires at the heroine quickly enough that the shorter girl can't dodge and can only raise her hands to protect herself.

When the beam hits Brawling Tiger, she and Ladybug are shocked when they see Brawling Tiger isn't a mirror image of Reflekta. Instead, her arms are the only things that change, likely because of the protection her costume provides.

"Oh, what the heck?" Brawling Tiger questions as she stops to look at her arms.

If she compared them to Reflekta's, she would notice the eye on her right hand isn't the same. It has claw marks around it to reference her Miraculous.

"Too bad, it looks like only your arms look nice. But I can fix that." Reflekta sasses Brawling Tiger as she fires another beam with a smirk.

However, Brawling Tiger ducks under the attack and charges at the other girl again while drawing her arm back.

"Whatever, it just means I can hit you with your own-" Alix starts, throwing her fist forward before something unexpected happens.

The fist suddenly turns in direction as it closes in on Reflekta's face, hitting Brawling Tiger's face instead. Brawling Tiger backs away in surprise and pain and doesn't have time to react when Reflekta blasts her with another beam. It hits her in the torso and causes it to change as well. Reflekta then fires a few more blasts as Brawling Tiger is distracted by the sudden transformation of her body. It took five blasts to change Brawling Tiger into a copy of Reflekta. All she can do is look at her new appearance before looking up at the original Reflekta with a shocked and confused expression.

"How did you-" She starts before Reflekta cuts her off with a proud tone.

"Did you think a copy could do anything to the original? When you have my looks, you lose your ability to hurt me." Refleka says with a smirk before she lunges for Brawling Tiger.

"Now, give me your Miraculous." She orders but hits nothing but the ground because Ladybug wraps her yo-yo around Brawling Tiger's waist and pulls the other heroine to her.

The two then have to duck behind the bench as Refleka fires a few more beams in her anger at being stopped and humiliated.

"Thanks." Brawling Tiger tells Ladybug in a slightly relieved tone before flinching when a blast shoots right past them.

"No problem," Ladybug says, trying to look on the bright side of the situation.

It's not easy when she doesn't know if Adrien got hit, too, meaning she might be fighting Reflekta alone.

"You think you could use that suit that turned people into heroes?" Brawling Tiger asks, wanting to end this.

"That power is confusing. There's no way to tell what it might do." Ladybug argues back.

"Well, it'll probably help change me back." Brawling Tiger points out before the beams suddenly stop.

The two are surprised, and Brawling Tiger quickly pops her head out to look at what's happening. She sees Reflekta focusing on Cat Noir. The other cat-themed hero tries his best to get close to the Akuma while using his baton to block her beams. However, they seem at a standstill, with Reflekta having the advantage. Luckily, though, Ladybug does see a chance to turn the tables and throws her yo-yo at Reflekta. The item wraps around her wrist, and Ladybug pulls. Reflekta instinctively pulls back, causing her arm to bend upward and point her hand at the sky.

"Now!" Ladybug shouts to her partner, causing him to nod.

"On it!" Cat Noir shouts as he charges for Reflekta and tackles the girl.

He does his best to prevent the girl from pointing her hand at anyone so she can't fire any more beams while Ladybug moves to help him. Together, the two do their best to get past Reflekta's struggles to find the butterfly.

"Get off me!" Reflekta screams at the two while violently struggling against them.

Seeing the direction this seems to take, Hawkmoth questions whether he should try making another Akuma to help Reflekta. However, after seeing Reflekta's abilities, he feels it would be better to let things play out and see what happens next.

"However, she does have a decent ability I might be able to use later." He thinks before watching as Refleka uses another ability.

Reflekta's eyes suddenly glow bright pink, surprising the heroes. Then, she throws them off with the ease of a grown American football player fighting a child.

"What happened?" Cat Noir asks in shock as he and Ladybug look at Reflekta from their spots on the ground.

Reflekta grins at the heroes as they stare at her with those expressions. She enjoys how they can't seem to understand what she's capable of.

"Don't you know the power of being an influencer? The more people that follow you, the stronger you become." Reflekta tells the two heroes before aiming her hand at them and firing.

The heroes quickly roll to their sides, and Ladybug decides she has no choice but to go with Brawling Tiger's idea. If nothing else, it'll take away some of Reflekta's power and possibly give them Canine and Brawling Tiger back.

"Seamstress!" Ladybug shouts before changing into her Reverse Seams costume.

"Be careful. That costume can turn your followers against you. Ladybug will retake the spotlight if you don't stop her." Hawkmoth tells Reflekta, causing the girl to growl before firing a blast at Ladybug.

However, Ladybug doesn't dodge this time. Instead, she fires an energy orb at the beam, and the two attacks cancel the other out. Reflekta glares at Ladybug for this and fires more beams, which Ladybug cancels out by making a giant orb to act as a shield.

"Hey! I need a uniform change over here!" Brawling Tiger shouts while wildly waving her arms to get Ladybug's attention.

Ladybug quickly takes an arm off the giant energy orb before creating a smaller orb to throw at Brawling Tiger. When the orb hits Brawling Tiger... nothing happens. Brawling Tiger doesn't change back or turn into a mirror image of Ladybug. There is nothing different about her on the surface.

"Seriously!" Brawling Tiger aggravatedly questions as she looks at her body.

She then punches her side in frustration before hearing something surprising. Reflekta suddenly yelps in alarm for everyone to hear after she feels a sudden stinging pain in her side. She looks at the area that hurt for a second before looking around to figure out what hit her. However, no one moves while she does this. Everyone is confused about what happened.

Raising a curious eyebrow, Brawling Tiger punches her stomach this time.

"Oof," Reflekta grunts as she holds her stomach in surprise and pain before looking around in a panic.

Her eyes soon land on Brawling Tiger before they widen.

"What did you do?" She questions the heroine, who is supposed to be defenseless against her.

Realizing what's happening, Brawling Tiger can't help but smirk. While she does that, Cat Noir runs over to Ladybug.

"It looks like you reversed how she can't hurt Reflekta." Cat Noir says in surprise.

Ladybug nods before looking at her palms. Reverse Seams has just become more confusing. Instead of reversing the transformation, she's changed one aspect of the people transformed.

"We really need to figure out how this one works." She tells Cat Noir.

"Are you sure? I kind of like it like this. It makes it feel like a game of luck." He tells her in a slightly joking tone.

She gives him a flat look, causing him to give her an apologetic look.

"Sorry. Bad joke." He agrees with her.

As they have this bit, Brawling Tiger keeps punching herself in various places and watches how Reflekta winches from these attacks.

"This is kind of fun." Brawling Tiger says as she quickly punches her face again.

"Knock it off!" Reflekta shouts at the girl in anger before firing a beam at her.

The beam hits her, and Brawling Tiger follows it up by punching herself again to see if it still works. Sure enough, Brawling Tiger's punch still affects Reflekta.

"Guess Ladybug's power outshines yours!" Brawling Tiger mocks the girl, causing her to snarl.

"No one will outshine me anymore!" She shouts at Brawling Tiger before charging at the heroine.

If she can't stop the pain by hitting her with the beams, she'll stop Brawling Tiger another way. She throws them both to the ground and pins Brawling Tiger's wrists to it.

"Now, grab the Tiger Miraculous!" Hawkmoth orders, causing Reflekta to reach for the eye marking on the back of Brawling Tiger's hand.

Before she can, she's suddenly launched off Brawling Tiger by one of Ladybug's energy orbs. After that, Cat Noir rushes to Brawling Tiger's side and raises a weapon to protect her while she gets up.

"What did that do?" Cat Noir asks Ladybug.

"I'm not sure," Ladybug tells Cat Noir as the three heroes cautiously watch Reflekta.

However, Reflekta isn't moving from her spot on the ground. The trio can see her struggling, but she isn't going anywhere.

"Why, why can't I get up? Why do I feel so weak!?" Reflekta starts screaming in anger as she flails about.

Hearing this causes the heroes to sigh in relief, realizing they reversed Reflekta's strength-gaining ability.

"So, does this mean she gets weaker for everyone who looks like her?" Cat Noir asks as he walks over to Reflekta and pokes her with his baton, causing the girl to snarl at him.

"I guess." Ladybug nods as she goes for the wrist mirror.

With seemingly no trouble, Ladybug manages to take the mirror and break it. She then captures the butterfly in her yo-yo and activates Miraculous Ladybug.

"Wh-what happened?" Juleka asks in confusion as she looks around.

"You were Akumatized." Ladybug gently says as she bends down to look at Juleka.

Juleka groans when she hears this, placing her face into her hands.

"It's alright, you weren't in control of your actions," Ladybug promises to the girl.

Soon, Rose returns to the school and sees Juleka's state. The shorter girl immediately charges at the girl and tackles her into a hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Juleka." She says as she hugs the girl with tears in her eyes.

"T-thanks." Juleka stutters, surprised by the sudden attention.

After a while, everyone recovers from the attack, and school seems to continue. Miss Bustier's class is still preparing for the photo, with Juleka sitting in the middle of the front bench. Mr. Damocles is holding off any investigations until the class photos.

"Alright, Little Meatballs. Give me big smiles, especially the star up front." Vincent orders with a smile as he takes the photo.

The picture comes out perfectly. Juleka is easy to see between Rose and Marinette at the front. Meanwhile, Chloe is still scowling in her corner at the back.

Akumaclass Harem AU

Marinette has a crush (whether she yet knows it or not) on all of her classmates, and when she kisses their Akuma forms (either as Ladybug or as Marinette), their Akumas’ connection to Hawk Moth severs and they regain their normal minds and are able to switch between civilian and Akuma modes.  This also prevents Hawk Moth from Reakumatizing them, as technically they still have an Akuma.

It first happened with Lady Wifi.  Her Akumatized best friend had her locked to the wall and her partner trapped, and she was making a big show of how she had full control of the situation and was going to unmask her to all of Paris.  Ladybug was very attracted to the presented power and was overcome with the urge to kiss her, to the surprise of both of them.  Alya’s normal mind and morality were restored, and Hawk Moth’s connection to her was broken, and she quickly dismissed the livestream sigil and the locks.  She apologizes for everything and drops her Lady Wifi appearance while Ladybug uses the Miraculous Cure.  Marinette wonders what could have happened, but Tikki has no answers that would explain it as being a power of the Ladybug Miraculous.

Evillustrator- Marinette explains the situation to Sabrina adequately, and Sabrina is touched that Mari would agree to the date to help Nath and keep Chloé safe.  On the date, Marinette is genuinely charmed by Evillustrator/Nathaniel and gives him a kiss on the cheek.  This has the same effect as on Lady Wifi and Nath comes to his senses while still appearing as Evillustrator.  Marinette admits that she worked with Chat Noir to trap and Deakumatize him, but Nath tells her that she did the right thing even if he doesn’t like being tricked.  Chat reports to Chloé to tell her that she is safe now.  Marinette wonders how she has this power, and muses the possibilities of if it is a hidden power of the Ladybug Miraculous or something akin to True Love’s Kiss.  In the meantime, she offers to go on a real date with Nath.  When Marinette relays the night’s events to Sabrina, the latter girl is dismayed as she wanted to ask Mari out on a date, but Mari agrees to that.  So she starts dating both Nathaniel and Sabrina, and both are willing to help her with her crush on Adrien.

Ladybug gets this to work with Horrificator but ironically fails to perform it on Dark Cupid.  When Nino tries to tell Marinette he likes her but panics and says he likes Alya and Marinette comes up with ideas to set them up, Alya is annoyed in part because she is in love with Ladybug after the Lady Wifi kiss.  But Alya and Nino still end up falling for each other and start dating.  Ladybug later uses her magic kiss on Princess Fragrance and Reflekta (but not Gamer, Vanisher, or Antibug).  After she comes to understand Chloé’s situation, her pushed-down feelings spark up more clearly rather than having Chat Cataclysm the Bee Comb.  She still takes the Miraculous back to Master Fu and discuss the whole “Akuma Cure Kiss” thing.  While she does not have the Miraculous, Chloé cannot become Queen Wasp again, as the Akuma is in the Miraculous, but she could be Akumatized without it.  Marinette takes part in the fight against Reverser in civilian form due to her Ladybug form being reversed and made clumsy so Marinette has the opposite state, and she kisses them to bring Marc to their senses.  So by the time we get to Heroes’ Day, Marinette is dating Nathaniel, Sabrina, and Marc, while Ladybug has Alya, Mylène, Rose, Juleka, and Chloé pining for Ladybug.

When Vanisher follows Ladybug in an attempt to find the Guardian, Ladybug detransforms and kisses her as Marinette to free her from Hawk Moth’s control.  Every Love-Redeemed Akuma aids Team Miraculous in fighting Scarlet Moth’s army, while Chloé starts out as Queen Bee in the fight before shifting to Queen Wasp to clear out large numbers of Scarlet Akumas when she thinks of it.  Ladybug gets kisses in on Timebreaker (really easy because Scarlet Moth had her stand by because he remembered that she is the one Akuma he doesn’t want to use) and Stoneheart (kept occupied by Horrificator).

Miraculous Descendent Chapter 73: Picture Day

Previous Chapter

Picture day. A day to help students relive their past in the far future by looking into a yearbook. Being allowed to remember what it was like to live as a student with their family when they randomly find a yearbook under their bed or in the attic. Today is the day for the various classes at Françoise Dupont. Still, most don't seem to care, especially those who are part of or are aware of particular secrets.

Marinette and Nate walk toward the school, wearing slightly more improved clothes. Nate tried to go to school in his usual clothes, but Marinette stopped him. Marinette is wearing a pink jacket over a long-sleeve beige polo shirt and a dark blue skirt that matches her hair and eyes. Instead of her usual pink shoes, she's wearing brown over-the-knee boots. In comparison, Nate is wearing a short-sleeve light blue button-up shirt with a nice collar to go with black pants and his regular shoes.

While they walk, Nate notices something is on his cousin's mind. He can tell because it doesn't look like she slept well, even with her nicely applied makeup.

"You alright?" Nate asks, causing Marinette to flashback to when she met her ancestor.

Ladybug stares at the ghost of her ancestor in shock as he floats there for her to see.

"Are you Cheng Wang?" She asks nervously, causing the ghost to let out a good-natured laugh.

"The last time I checked, yes." He says kindly.

"Do you know who I am?" Ladybug asks after she realizes he called her Ladybug.

"Of course. How could I not know the girl using a Miraculous to protect people after being the first in our family to unlock the Miracle Box in a long time? Many of your other ancestors are quite jealous of you. Though, there are also quite a number who are proud." Cheng Wang tells her in the same kind yet wise tone. But there's a hint of amusement to go with it.

"I, I, I have so many questions," Ladybug says as she tries to wrap her head around the current situation before Cheng Wang places a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sure you do. However, now you must rest. You have been through a lot today and should enjoy a good night's sleep. Don't worry. I'll be there the next time you call upon me. But I would like you to get at least a day's rest." Cheng Wang says in a grandfatherly tone.

Hearing his soothing words, Ladybug does feel her body wishing for sleep.

"Will you really be there?" Ladybug asks in a hopeful tone.

"Always." He promises before disappearing, leaving Ladybug seemingly alone to go to bed.

"Hey, are you okay?" Nate asks, jolting Marinette out of her thoughts.

She looks at Nate with a smile before saying.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about something. We have to talk to a few people today, though." She warns Nate, confusing him.

That memory of meeting her ancestor had been playing in her head the entire day yesterday after she woke up. She took her ancestor's advice and didn't contact him again the day before to try to calm down.

"Who are we meeting?" Nate asks, having not seen her yesterday due to being busy with fencing practice and other things.

Realizing she forgot to tell him what happened, Marinette quickly explains the events of a couple of days ago. Hearing this causes Nate to stop walking as he processes this information.

"So, let me get this straight. Three of our classmates are the other heroes and know about everything? Then Max and Kim also know about the Miraculous?" Nate asks more than states, begging Marinette to reiterate to ensure he knows he got it right.

Luckily for him, Marinette nods, causing Nate to groan.

"How did this even happen?" He can't help but ask in genuine confusion.

Marinette can't answer. She's still having trouble believing it herself. After that revelation, the two end up walking silently, Nate still trying to understand the chances of that happening. It doesn't take more than a few minutes for them to finally arrive at the school, where they can see a class already see people standing around the courtyard in preparation for picture day. They soon walk past the people to get to their classroom. Upon entering, they see some of their classmates also dressed up.

That isn't the only thing, though. Sabrina, Alix, and Adrien stare at Marinette in a new light from when they usually get to class. Max and Kim aren't far behind. They look like they're trying to figure something out while staring at Marinette. They're probably trying to figure out how they didn't realize Marinette is Ladybug sooner.

"Well, this is awkward." Nate thinks as he and Marinette walk to their desk.

Chloe, noticing Sabrina staring at Marinette strangely, tries to figure out what happened between the two. She, luckily, didn't see the stares of the others.

"Are they dating or something?" Chloe can't help but ask in her mind.

"You okay, dude? You were staring at them until they took their seat." Nino tells Adrien, causing the teen to jolt before giving him a nervous grin.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about something." He tells his friend, causing Nino to shrug before returning to his music.

In the back right corner of the room, Juleka is nervously fidgeting in her seat while looking into a decorative wrist mirror every once in a while.

"Don't worry, Juleka. Everything will go great, and you'll be in an amazing photo." Rose promises to her friend, causing her to look at the shorter girl worriedly.

"Y-you think so?" She asks nervously.

"Of course, any mistake the photographer makes today will need them to retake the photo. They can't take photos for the yearbook when you're not in them, right?" Rose asks, causing a wave of relief to hit Juleka.

"Right." She nods.

But she's still worried about today since the universe always seems against her when she tries to get a photo of herself. Even school photos seem impossible for her. She can only hope Rose is right.

Later that day, Miss Bustier's class is in the school courtyard, preparing for the photo. Right now, Ms. Mendeleiev's class, which includes Aurora, Mireille, and Jean, is having their picture taken. The students paying attention to the class note how the other students try giving Aurore and Jean a wide birth while Mireille is as far away from Aurore as possible. That causes some to give them a look of pity.

Another interesting fact is that half their class is on one side and seems to be talking about something while the others are doing their own thing.

"So, let me get this straight. Not only are four of us superheroes, but half of our class know about the Miraculous?" Nate asks in genuine confusion as he stares at those who know the secret.

"That's correct. I'm still trying to calculate the statistics of this outcome." Max explains with a slight nod.

"Man," Nate says while rubbing the bridge of his nose as he thinks about that.

"It is a crazy coincidence. Are you sure Nino doesn't know you're Cat Noir?" Sabrina asks Adrien, causing him to shake his head.

"No. But I'm tempted to tell him." Adrien admits.

"Can you hold off on that until we've figured everything out? Plenty of people already know, two of which Hawkmoth has gotten to." Sabrina says while pointing at Max and Kim.

"Hey!" Alix snaps at her as Kim and Max wince while remembering watching videos of what they did as Akumas.

Sabrina raises her hands placatingly.

"I'm not blaming them or angry with them. I'm just saying that Aurore has already been akumatized three times, once while supposedly not feeling negative emotions. We're already in a fair amount of danger because you revealed your identity to them." She explains to help calm Alix and the other two down.

Alix doesn't look satisfied with that answer, but Marinette cuts in to stop a fight from happening.

"Can we not fight right now?" She pleads with the two, causing Alix to finally back down, but not before throwing a few more words at Sabrina.

"I will if she watches what she says about my friends," Alix warns, causing Sabrina to sigh slightly.

"I'm sorry. I'm not trying to start anything. I'm just making a point." She promises to the three.

"It's fine. You're not wrong. The fewer people who know, the better the statistical chances of your identities not being exposed." Max agrees with her.

"Still, can you not bring it up?" Kim pleads with her, causing Sabrina to nod while giving him an apologetic look.

Deciding to change the subject, Sabrina looks at Marinette.

"Did you talk to your ancestor?" She asks, causing Marinette to nod.

"I did, but he told me I shouldn't talk to him until I can think straight. I should be able to talk with him tonight." She promises.

"Do you think we can be there for the talk? Since we're teammates, it might affect us too." Adrien suggests, wanting to meet a ghost.

Marinette pauses and places a hand on her chin as she thinks about that.

"I'm not sure—I think he'll be alright with meeting you guys. He seemed really nice when we talked." Marinette explains.

"Are you sure it's a real ghost?" Max curiously asks while pushing up his glasses.

Alix rolls her eyes at her friend's question.

"Max, after everything that's been happening, do you really think actual ghosts are weird?" She asks, causing Max to shake his head.

"It's not that I don't believe it. As you said, a lot has happened because of the Miraculous. However, there's no proof of what happens after you die. Spectral beings like ghosts are just one of the many theories. For all we know, the Miraculous could have made a magic construct to look like Marinette's ancestor." Max explains in a matter-of-fact tone.

His explanation causes a few people to pause to think about it. One of which is Marinette. After a moment, the girl opens her bag and asks Tikki a question.

"Tikki, is what Max said true?" She asks the Kwami, causing Tikki to shake her head.

"There's no need to worry, Marinette. The spirit you met was truly your ancestor." Tikki promises the girl, causing Max's fascination to grow.

"Fascinating. So, we living beings become ghosts once we die?" He asks the Kwami as he walks over to her.

Once again, Tikki shakes her head.

"It doesn't have to be ghosts. Many things can happen. Life and death are complicated concepts." Tikki explains, furthering Max's interest along with Alix's.

"Can we talk about this later when it doesn't look as suspicious?" Marinette asks, feeling paranoid about the idea of people watching them.

Her paranoia isn't unfounded, as Chloe is curious about the group. She didn't think they all got along enough. It makes her more suspicious about what Sabrina and Marinette are hiding. She's not fond of the new girl, envious of everything Marinette has. Her hand tightens on her phone as she feels this emotion rise. 

She quickly looks around for a way to exert some of this feeling to get rid of it, but realizes she can't up and bully anyone right now when the principal is near. She'll have to be patient and wait for a chance. However, she does note a potential target.

A nervous Juleka looks into her wrist mirror to see if she looks good before brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Next to her, Rose is trying to comfort her with words of encouragement.

"It's going to be alright. We're almost ready to take the picture. Everything will be okay." Rose continues to promise the panicking girl while grabbing her hand comfortingly.

Feeling the smooth touch of Rose's skin, Juleka finally seems to calm down slightly. However, she wants a better look at her makeup.

"I-I'll be right back." She tells Rose before rushing to the bathroom, causing Chloe to smirk.

After she sees Juleka enter the bathroom, she looks around and sees no one is watching her. With that in mind, Chloe slowly and stealthily moves toward the bathroom. When she reaches the door, she cracks it open to listen in on Juleka while waiting for an opportunity.

Back with the rest of the class, they can see the photographer seeming to finish up with Miss Mendeleiev's class.

The photographer is a tall, well-built man with light skin, short, fluffy, reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, and a reddish-brown soul patch under his lip. He's dressed in a v-neck, short-sleeve white shirt, red and green plaid pants with black suspenders, black boots with white soles, and black fingerless gloves with holes on the knuckles.

Everyone around him can't help but find the man strange and eccentric.

"Bravo! You're all doing wonderful! That's it, give me smiles like when your mom is bringing in the spaghetti!" The man enthusiastically says as he continues to take class photos to ensure at least one good photo.

No one can tell if he is doing this to get a few laughs from the students because it looks like a few of them are having trouble keeping themselves from bursting out. But, at the same time, it seems like he may do this because he's eccentric.

"I don't think I can keep a straight face if he does this to us," Kim says with an amused grin as he stares at the photographer.

"Someone seems to have issues." Nate nods as he watches this next to Marinette.

Soon, Miss Bustier walks up to her class and has them gather.

"Alright, students. Listen to whatever the photographer says when he's arranging us for the photo, and try to show great big smiles for the photo to show how happy this year made you despite everything happening. If you're having trouble, try to think of something that brings you joy while he's taking it." Miss Bustier requests of her class with a kind smile of her own, as if leading by example.

No one seems to take her too seriously—not even Rose. She's too worried about where Juleka is. She quickly texts the other girl and tells her the class photo will be soon.

In the bathroom, Juleka is using one of the stalls when she gets the text from Rose. Seeing it causes her to panic. But before she can do anything, she suddenly hears a small bang on her stall door.

"Someone's in here!" She shouts in alarm.

After she shouts that, the banging stops, and she soon goes to open the stall door. However, to her horror, it won't open. Her attempts grow desperate, but it's not helping.

"Is anyone still out there!? The stall is stuck! Please help!" She shouts out for whoever was banging on her door earlier.

Outside the stall, Chloe smirks while listening to Juleka's pleas as she tries to open the stall door. When Juleka entered the stall, Chloe sneakily brought a chair into the bathroom and propped it under the door handle. Now, Chloe watches as Juleka continues to beg for help while she desperately tries to open the door with a smile. Without saying a word, Chloe exits the bathroom and returns to the class without a care in the world. She does so in time, too, as it's the class' turn to take the photo.

"Alright, Little Meatballs, form up and show me what I'm working with." The photographer commands.

With that, the class bunches together for the photo. Students either sit or stand around benches, one bench behind the other. Well, most of them, anyway. Rose doesn't see Juleka and walks toward Miss Bustier to bring it up.

"Miss Bustier, Juleka isn't-" She starts before getting cut off as Miss Bustier ushers her to join the others.

"Later, Rose. You need to listen to the photographer and join the others." She commands the girl while lightly pushing her to the other students.

Rose looks to the bathroom worriedly and pulls out her phone again before suddenly finding it snatched away by Miss Bustier.

"Please don't look at your phone when we're trying to take the photo." Miss Bustier pleads with the girl before putting the phone in her back pocket, planning to return it after the picture.

Realizing she can't escape and go check on Juleka, Rose reluctantly follows the rest of the class as they randomly move around the benches while sticking with their friend groups. The photographer looks at this with judgemental eyes before waving his hands and shaking his head in dissatisfaction.

"No, no, no, this is all wrong. All of you, move to the side." The photographer orders while making exaggerated move motions with both arms.

The students follow his orders and line up on the side. The photographer sizes them up while Principal Damocles sighs. He's been taking photos with all the classes and grows tired of the photographer's perfectionism.

"Is this necessary every time, Mr. Vincent?" Mr. Damocles asks, feeling Vincent is going too far with what he feels is necessary.

"Photographer is like cooking. Every step needs to be perfect to make something delicious. Otherwise, it'll be something horrid." Vincent says with a voice full of conviction while putting his fingers together and shaking his hands toward the principal.

"It also takes a chef who knows what they're doing," Chloe quietly mutters with an eye roll.

If Vincent hears her, he chooses to ignore her words. Instead, he's focused on studying the group.

"You, you, you, you, and you. I want all of you sitting up front." Vincent commands while pointing to Marinette, Max, Rose, Alix, and Myléne.

The quintet of students follow his orders and sit with Max on the far right side of the bench, Alix next to him, a nervous Rose in the middle, Marinette next to her, and Myléne next to her. Vincent stares at this group for a moment before nodding in satisfaction.

"Alright. You, you, you, you, and you. I want all of you to stand in the back." Vincent orders after pointing to Nathaniel, Alya, Chloe, Nate, and Sabrina.

Chloe looks unhappy at being in the back but doesn't say anything and reluctantly follows the others. Nathaniel stands behind Max while Alya stands beside him, Sabrina is in the middle, Nate is next to her, and Chloe is next to him. After another moment, Vincent nods again before looking at the remaining students.

"Now, the rest of you. I want you all to sit in the middle." Vincent orders while motioning to the back bench.

Kim, Adrien, Nino, and Ivan follow his directions. Kim and Ivan, being the tallest, take the ends of the bench while Adrien and Nino are between them. Overall, it's a nice-looking setup. With the tallest members sitting in the middle, it gives a good view of everyone's faces.

"Perfecto," Vincent states, but Rose raises a hand while trying to tell him something.

"Mr. Vincent-" She starts before Vincent waves her off.

"All questions and complaints come after the picture, my dear. Now give me big smiles, like when your parents make your favorite dishes." Vincent commands as he takes his camera and begins taking pictures of the class, with Miss Bustier on the right of them and Mr. Damocles on the left.

The teens do as he says, and most give their best smiles, aside from Ivan, Rose, and Chloe.

"What is the problem? Do some of you dislike your placements?" Vincent asks after a moment.

Chloe is the first to speak up.

"I would prefer to be upfront," Chloe tells him with a glare while Ivan shrugs.

Vincent glares at them before looking at Rose.

"What about you?" He asks her.

"W-well, my friend isn't here. She went to the bathroom and hasn't come back." Rose explains, causing Mr. Damocles to narrow his eyes before looking at Miss Bustier.

"Is this true, Miss Bustier?" Principal Damocles asks.

Miss Bustier nervously does a headcount. She's sure everyone was here when she took attendance this morning and didn't notice anyone walk off while waiting for the picture. However, she now realizes Juleka is indeed missing and gasps in worry.

"She's right. Juleka is missing." She tells the two men, causing Principal Damocles to glare at her.

"We will be discussing this later. For now, someone go and make sure Ms. Couffaine is alright." Principal Damocles commands while pointing to the women's bathroom, causing Rose to bolt for it with Miss Bustier following behind her.

In the stall, Juleka is crying while hugging her knees. It seems like no one is answering her calls for help or texts.

"S-stupid curse!" She cries out between sobs before she hears something shifting on the other side of the stall door.

In the next second, the door opens to show a concerned Rose and Miss Bustier.

"Are you alright, Juleka?" Rose worriedly asks.

Juleka looks at her friend before her instincts scream at her to leave. With that, she pushes past Rose and Miss Bustier and runs out of the bathroom. After exiting the bathroom, she shoves past the other surprised students until she's off the school grounds to find somewhere to cry about what happened.

Seeing this causes Principal Damocles to panic slightly before looking at Vincent.

"I'm sorry, but we'll have to put the pictures on hold until I've notified her parents about what's happening and we find her." Principal Damocles tells Vincent before rushing for his office.

"Juleka, wait!" Rose shouts as she runs out of the bathroom and school to find Juleka.

With Gabriel, he can feel the growing despair and anxiety from Juleka and can't help but pity the girl. He has full intention of using her emotions, though. He quickly transforms and uses Kaleidoscope to fly into his base, never noticing the mischievous smirk on Nooroo's face as he enters the brooch. When the window to his base opens, he gives a sad expression.

"A girl who only wants to be seen but is denied the chance by a strange curse that prevents her from being captured by a camera. I should offer her my help. Everyone will see you now." Hawkmoth promises while creating a butterfly.

"Fly, my butterfly, and make this one's dream come true."

The butterfly flies off and soon finds its target crying on a park bench after losing Rose. When the butterfly enters her wrist mirror, her tears cease, and she can feel Hawkmoth's voice and influence.

"Reflekta. I'm sure you know who I am. I'm here to offer you the chance to have all of Paris watching you. Everyone will follow your style and be like you. No one will forget you ever again. All you must do is bring me a Miraculous. Do we have a deal?" Hawkmoth asks despite knowing the answer.

"Yes, Hawkmoth." Juleka nods with a smile before black smoke envelops her.

When the smoke vanishes, it reveals Juleka's... unique transformation. It's pretty clear Nooroo messed with this transformation like he did with The Bubbler's.

As Reflekta, Juleka now has pinkish-white skin with brilliant red circle markings around her brown eyes, green orbs on her eyelashes, and purple lipstick on her smiling lips. Atop her head is a crown-like vibrant red helmet with purple lines, with thick cylinder horn-like objects growing on the sides of the back of her head. On the forehead of the helmet is a purple-outlined, pink-pupiled white eye turned ninety degrees so the edges are pointing up and down. It also has flaps that fall before Reflekta's ears. Matching with this helmet is a vibrant red dress with a ruff collar, poofy shoulders, a poofy skirt, and platform boots. The skirt has purple lines on the waist and the same eye as the helmet running along the shoulders and skirt. There is another eye on Refleka's right hand, where the mirror used to be. However, it's different from the others. It has a thick black outline with butterfly-like wings, a vibrant purple sclera, and a silver pupil that sticks out.

With a confident smirk, Reflekta announces to the world.

"With this power, no one will forget about me again!"

Hawkmoth doesn't say anything to her declaration. He's too busy trying to remain calm and not try to strangle his Kwami for their horrible fashion sense. It's not going too well. One of his eyes is twitching violently, and he's gripping his cane like he's trying to snap it in half while imagining it's Nooroo. It doesn't help that he can swear he hears the Kwami giggling in the back of his mind.

Kind of surprising that there hasn't been a body-swap Akuma. That feels like the kind of trope that gets put in every cartoon like ML and yet the closest to that is Reflekta

Okay two thoughts on how it'd go re: mari and adrien and identity nonsense;

1.) they get swapped as Civilians. They're panicking because the other doesn't know they're LB/CN, and they have to subtly try to get their own jewelry back. to go fight.

2.) they swap as Heroes, and have an awkward moment where they have to run off and recharge and do their best to not look down or look in the mirror and you get Tikki/Plagg herding them away because oh shit here comes one of the classmates who would definitely call out to them and reveal what body they're in.

ML AU idea: Lady of Second Chances (Season 1)

-I covered origins, so I figured I might as well cover how the season goes with a basically fully realized Ladybug.

-Ladybug started making charms early on.

-So Marinette is several times more mature and experienced than her previous self.

-It’s mainly just Marinette Preventing akuma when possible

-Stormy weather happens because nothing Marinette could do to stop that. So that episode is basically the same.

-Marinette has to remind herself that chat noir is still new to the hero thing.

-Lady Wifi still happens but Marinette debates telling Alya earlier or not after.

-Evillustrator happens with almost no changes. Except that Marinette’s plan worked with some slight tweaks. And it ended on the boat. Chloe did manage to get Sabrina back on her side though since Marinette was focusing on her plan.

-Chat noir asked for a reward for doing well guarding Marinette. Ladybug humored him with a pat on the head.

-Dark Cupid happens but because Marinette stepped in and stopped Kim from getting embarrassed. She made sure to ask who the girl was. Alya and Marinette managed to talk Kim out of it. He ended up getting sad because of it. Kim does realize Marinette and Alya were right. So that’s a positive. And ladybug wastes no time because she knows she has to kiss chat noir. (She may have been over enthusiastic)

-Copy cat doesn’t happen because Marinette made an effort not to leave a message. Saying she will try again another time. So she showed up at the statue unveiling and Chat noir didn’t get jealous, Theo got his autograph and everything was chill. No jelly kitty and no copy cat.

-Bubbler happens, but Marinette made 2 gifts. Because she remembered that the scarf will be mistaken as a gift from his father. So she made sure to keep that part the same way. But prepared a Different gift, this time with her name signed and stitched in. Marinette also made sure it matched the scarf, but not in an obvious way. Adrien loved the gift, thanking Marinette. Alya asked how she knew Adrien would not realize the scarf gift was from her. “I forgot to sign it” Alya jokes that she’s psychic

-Chronogirl/Timebreaker doesn’t happen because Marinette says She will hold the watch. Knowing how breaking it would be bad. So that’s prevented.

-Rogercop, Mr.Pigeon, The Pharoah, The Mime, pixalator and Guitar villain are all the same. Since Marinette couldn’t prevent them from happening.

-princess fragrance: Marinette had to help Tikki so it happened. Marinette did her best not to just hug Fu after seeing him. She knew it wasn’t the right time. So she kept her mouth shut.

-Reflekta Marinette could have prevented but she knows how the later pictures helped Juleka so she lets it play out the same way.

-the episode Kung food happens but Marinette’s uncle isn’t akumatized. So Marinette knows she’s struggling but she tells Alya she will ask Adrien for help. Alya is proud of her for taking the step. Adrien is more than happy to help and since Marinette isn’t surprised this time, she is better prepared (plus over the previous timeline she had been working more on her mandarin, so that helped) Chloe gets akumatized and become “The Critic” but she gets her butt whooped.

-Darkblade happens but Marinette warns her mom in advance about Sabrina. So Sabrina can’t even get into the house and returns in failure. Also Marinette is more bold in her campaign (Sabrina voted for her in secret)

-Animan happens, Marinette ENSURED everything happened the same way so Alya and Nino ended up together.

-Horrificator happened, but this time Marinette and Adrien did kiss. Since Marinette locked the door so Chloe didn’t ruin the shot. (Marinette forgot that this day resulted in horrificator. As she was distracted.

-So Gamer doesn’t happen, Marinette sees the tournament they were doing and asks if she could play since she liked the game. She smoked Adrien and Max. The class suggests she competes but she declines, but would be happy to give them pointers. Which Max and Adrien agree. (While max is a bit grumpy about losing he is still gonna compete so he’s not akumatizable) and Marinette coaches then both at her place. Max and Adrien both being polite and accepting of the treats. It’s not as romantic as Marinette would have liked but Adrien and her do get a few moments. Max and Adrien win the tournament, and they give the trophy to Marinette who coached them.

-Simon says happens but with 50% more ladrien.

-Antibug doesn’t happen because Marinette remembered not to snap at her. And encouraged her to make amends with Sabrina. Since at this time Chloe looked up to ladybug.

-Volpina. So Marinette remembers what happened when she confronted Lila the first time. But she also needs to make photo copies of the book. So Marinette takes a different approach.

-Marinette runs into them at the library. As the Class rep she has a right to introduce herself to a new student. Lila has to smile and pretend like she isn’t getting C-blocked by Marinette. Adrien talking highly of Marinette also pisses Lila off.

-Tikki snuck the book and Lila ended up without it. Also because of Marinette’s interruption, there was no after school park date. Lila was annoyed.

-Marinette quickly got pictures of everything in the book and before school ended, gave the book back to Adrien. Saying she found it by his chair and was wondering if it was his.

-Relieved, Adrien thanked Marinette for finding the book, he didn’t realize it was missing. He headed back home.

-Marinette now had everything she needed and headed to Fu’s place.

-Lila decides to try again with Adrien later but no akumatization.

-Marinette is excited to meet Fu for real.

-Adrien does find himself thinking about Marinette a LOT more after the movie kiss (which technically was their first kiss now). But ladybug is also more flirty with chat noir (and with Adrien) so Boy may be a bit more conflicted

Rewatching ML Season 1

Stormy Weather: I’ve totally forgotten that Chat Noir can see in the dark.

The Bubbler: We can see a bit of Gabriel’s abuse. Adrien mentions that his father gave him a pen for his birthday three times in a row, and we know Emilie died several months ago, so Gabriel didn’t become a neglectful parent after Emilie’s death. I think that Emilie was ill for a long time and Gabriel’s A+ parenting started long before her death. Adrien probably pretended to his ill mother that everything was fine.

Timebreaker: Chat Noir sacrifices himself for Ladybug.

The Pharaoh: It basically tells us Gabriel’s plan: to make a magical human sacrifice to bring back his dead wife. (And Ladybug stops him from doing that every time.)

Mr Pigeon: It’s funny that Marinette doesn’t find it suspiscious that both Chat Noir and Adrien are allergic to feathers.

Lady WiFi: Adrien doesn’t seem thrilled with Alya’s idea that Chloé is Ladybug.

Rogercop: The Burguois’ are terrible.

Horrificator: Adrien is annoyed with Chloé and pulls away from her when she tries to kiss him, but he has nothing against kissing Marinette. Why does Juleka keep fixing his make-up?!

Dark Cupid: Adrien writing a love poem is funny. And he sacrifices himself again for Ladybug.

The Origins - Part 2: I think it was Nathalie who convinced Gabriel to let Adrien go to school.

Darkblade: Adrien is so happy that Marinette decided to run for class president, so I think that later he’s messing with her when he says that he’ll vote for her if she gives a good speech.

Animan: Adrien helping Nino date Marinette is sweet. Could Nino have a crush on Marinette because Adrien’s been talking how awesome she is? Chat Noir looks at Marinette’s family photo with fascination. Apparently he has very good hearing.

Simon Says: Many Ladrien moments and another bit of Gabriel’s abuse. Gabriel realises his son could be Chat Noir, flies like a butterfly (that’s not related) and hugs Adrien.

Pixelator: Adrien is stuck with Chloé and is clearly uncomfortable with her constantly grabbing his arm.

Guitar Villain: Adrien putting Chloé in the lift is hilarious.

The Gamer: Marinette and Adrien are finally spending some time together and Marinette gives him her lucky bracelet. Poor Adrien just wants to eat something, but Marinette doesn’t let him. He says Marinette has nice parents (unlike him, as we know). Chat Noir shows off a bit before Marinette. Just after she claims that he’s selfish, he helps some civilians.

Reflekta: I’ve heard opinions that Adrien is enabling Chloé and he is not, he has no power over her. She doesn’t listen to him and just wants him as her trophy boyfriend. Whatever Adrien has been doing during his photo sessions, it hasn’t involved wearing high-heeled shoes.

Puppeteer: Gabriel is Akumatising children now. Chat Noir is yet again possessed by the villain.

Antibug: Chloé’s had one helpful moment and now Adrien is happy that Marinette isn’t as hostile towards her as she used to be. I think it shows Adrien’s way of thinking in general. Gabriel hugged him once, so he couldn’t be a bad father, could he?

Kung Food: Marinette and Adrien are again spending time together. Adrien suspects that Chloé could have spoilt the soup and later mocks her. Good for him.

Volpina: I didn’t remember that Lila appeared in season 1. I think that she’s never cared about Adrien and he’s just a means to an end. I like how Adrien starts talking to Ladybug like he was Chat Noir and then realises that he shouldn’t be talking like that as Adrien. Marinette should now be convinced that whenever Adrien is stressed out, he takes a shower. Instead of a beret, she should later give him a towel. Adrien says that his father’s anger is worse than fighting Hawk Moth.
