This is the best artwork I've ever done, for better and worse.

The weapon he's holding is the fox flute, his staff is offscreen somewhere because drawing it felt mildly redundant.

I like his arm fox tails. But don't ask me about his hair /lh. It was meant to sorta swoop up and over, with the ends of that dyed orange, but I do not have the skill, shading, or brushes to achieve that, so normal chat noir hair it is!

It's traced from a 3d shot of him from the show (And you can probably tell which let's be real), which is pretty normal for my art now. It's SO much nicer to not have to worry about anatomy and it turns headaches into colouring within the lines.

The Fusions in Miracle AU, a simple comic

Lila with the ladybug and butterfly miraculous fuse together her name is Ellafalla I combined the word Coccinella and farfalla together let me know what ya think of the design! Also made a weapon too both can be on or the other don’t ask how it works because I am not sure yet.

Wait, so has anyone wondered what happens to the kwamis during fusions? Like do they chill in their miraculous only? Do they build on each other like the bots in mecha strike in the show?

And also, its never been touched on to my memory about what happens when they transform besides going into the miraculous. I know there's headcanons and other theories where the holder can still hear them or they have a psychological link.

Granted, when Marinette transformed for the first time, she questions where Tikki went and she had no idea. (So maybe when the connection and closeness with the Kwami.)

But its never been discussed officially.

I liked how the movie showed the kwamis coming in and out While the persons transformed. So that was neat.

And showed how they were moving around and whatnot.

Grim realization but one could argue that while unintentional, there is an underlying theme across the ML series that the reason things steadily get more and more dire for the heroes is because they don't adapt.

Hear me out.

S1 Hawk Moth just grabs Akuna & throws them at people, some aren't even useful for fighting!

S2 Hawk Moth empowers himself via Catalyst & engineers pandemonium to make an army!

S3 Hawk Moth orchestrates specific Akumatization, creates fusion Akuma & presumably has been observing Ladybug's trek to collect Miraculous to at least narrow down the Guardians general vicinity.

Even just with the three seasons I watched, Gabriel cotninues to experiment with the powers, expanding on them and adjusting his methods to become ever more personal and dangeorus.

In contrast, the heroes keep defaulting back to the status quo of Ladybug & Chat fight the Akuma of the day & never adjust from Fu's mandates even when said ideas shift from useful to harmful.

Like, one Fu had lost his home base, I'm sorry he needed to be splitting up the Kwami between himself, Marinette & Adrien at the very least, or accept some other permanent heroes after Heroes' Day.

The characters acting on the assumption that a given Akuma will just be another day another Akuma situation and not really pressing against this emerging status quo could be a key reason things get worse.

I mean. Yeah.

And then ofc Season 4 has both uping Gabe's actions by using both Butterfly and Peacock, which LB and CN do nothing to counter. But then we head into Season 5 with Gabe having all the Miraculous and able to do so much more while LB and CN are forced to their original status quo of just them regardless of if they want it or not.

What if she has to do a fusion with the mouse for a particular mission, and when Chat shows up he’s SUPER confused.

So I saw @lokeeart's bee/black cat miraculous unification and I immediately fell in love with it so I did the logical thing and made fanart

What are your thoughts on Unification/Fusion?

Like virtually every aspect of the show, interesting in theory, absolutely butchered in practice. Actually. It's like you gave a chicken a butter knife and asked it to butcher a blue whale. A huge mess.

Like Kwamibuster gave use the very first taste of Unification with that whole spiel about it being 'dangerous' etc. etc. to use more than one Miraculous at a time, had Marinette stumble after loading up on nearly the whole box and it's never been brought up again.

Like, we've had multiple episodes featuring Fusion at this point and we've never had a single inkling of the supposed danger of Unifying kwami. Miracle Queen gave us both Marinette and Adrien Unifying without hesitation or consequence, AND Chloe loaded up on Miraculouses but didn't so much as sniffle. Now to add insult to injury Shadowmoth exists so we can't even say that Unifying kwami when you're morally weak/evil gets you struck by lightning or something.

If the show wasn't going to follow up on the potential issues of Unifying then they simply should never have brought it up.

If they were trying to make the lack of consequences into a plot-point it should've been brought up in Kwamibuster when Marinette didn't idk combust from Too Much Magic or smth. It would've made an interesting point if the 'danger' was simply made up by the Order so as to stop pesky apprentices from making an attempt to Unify.

If they were trying to make Marinette out to be special (and Adrien too I guess 🙄) they should've made Chloe and Gabriel get struck by lightning or get stuck in the Miracle Box or smth idk. And make a big deal out of 'only the pure of heart can wield more than one UwU'.

So like. Interesting idea, shitty execution.
