I looked through the official blog and couldn’t find MK anywhere so I sent an ask asking what craft supply they would be but was way too impatient to wait for a response so I just drew them watercolours as their art supply

This sketch is a panel for the 'Above' comic, but I rushed to draw this scene and didn't plan my page layout. Got too excited to draw MK because they are SO FUN. Maybe putting the sketch in will work out in the end or maybe not. Sharing it now just in case.

I actually do have a lil story behind MK's tail scar. They got it by following Undyne and hiding in the tall grass. Thinking it was someone else, she threw one of her spears at them. It gave MK a permanent scar, as well as caused them to lose one of their spikes that would normally be there. Now it's just something they flex about. In the scene where the player hides from Undyne, MK would boast how it's the exact location where they got their badass "battle" scar at ksksksks

The whole "Female Cyrax and Sektor" controversy is so funny to me, specially since the main "coping mechanism" being used is: "it's ok, they might be just some versions from some random reality in the Multiverse!"

Oh! A random reality, huh? You mean something like...

The New Era?

Cause they ARE some random reality within the MK Multiverse. They have even openly stated that. They just happen to be the reality we are currently following. But they are still one in an infinite.

So... if it's ok to have female Cyrax and Sektor if it's in "some random reality in the Multiverse," then it's ok to have female Cyrax and Sektor in MK1.

Right?

So, our universe is bigger than just two skeletons, right? Right. So, we also have a kid. A Monster Kid. EDIT 03.08.2024: His design is slightly changed, his boots no longer have laces on them.

FACTS:

MK wears a raincoat above his common UF clothes because now they walk in rainy areas of Waterfall much more often.

They also think it makes him less visible but the Royal Guard can't be fooled so easily;

Their personality remains the same but now they somewhat keen on adventurism;

Well, they also dislike cruel nature of the world they live in, in particular they're afraid of a lot of monsters;

Yet that doesn't stop them from liking Undyne. They always wonder where she went;

They dislike Papyrus for being too brutal (in his opinion) and watchful (Papyrus always catches them on route to prohibited areas of waterfall);

They when they first see you, they think you're a monster kid in search of adventures, just like them. They never stop to give you an idea to find Undyne.
