hello! i would like to introduce you to the first of TranceCare: works of drumless ambient trance edits/loops made when i am trying to care. for myself, or for the things i like. i think they are practise for something. here are the first five: numbered from 2 because i have lost the original.
Theoretically: also the first EP released solely on a tumblr post <3
each picture is from me. each has care in it. xoxo
freshhhh mix of mostly underappreciated oldies (c. 1956-1982*) punctuated with some major hits. a lot of thick traveling bass lines, riding the hi-hat, flirty lyrics, tight harmonies, tambourine, even a dash of sitar and flute solos. you know, man. OLDIES.
great music for BBQs, pool parties, sex parties, smoking weed and drinking a cold drink, you name it
aka the tpd songs that fandom has assigned to buck... so far 😖
"So tell me everything is not about me
But what if it is?
Then say they didn't do it to hurt me
But what if they did?
I wanna snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me"

I took some time to scan the Shapeless | Buck-Tick (1994) photobook I received this month, bought it from a seller in Japan, it's second hand of course but it's in beautiful condition.
I want to share my favourite photos from this book. I've talked about this here before, how some photos transport me to a different mood even to the point of connecting the image with a story, I feel these pictures apply to this concept of pseudo-nostalgia so to speak, here's my "definition":
The photobook was shot in Turkey and released in 1994. The photo album includes the members, other people and random photos from the trip that match very nicely with the tone of the mixes in my opinion.
One of the few good things that came out of the pandemic is the amount of household indie DJs and youtube channels of all the clubs posting mixes. I am happy that's one of the few things that have only become increasingly popular.
This Friday Sept. 20th, I'll be premiering a DJ set for Blunderdome as I \V N! Feel free to join me and dance to electronic music with the community with other DJs as well!

forgot to post about this umm i added the on trax 5 and monarch of the death rave minimixes to the mixes playlist. i wouldve liked to also add the dj snaggletoof mix from deadly operating system since its TEEECHNICALLY public (retrospective stream + 2 decently aged reuploads) but i couldnt find a download for that . Oh well
Originally made as a mix tape in the summer of 2005. A friend gave me this challenge: "I want a mix of songs for a Western film that Terry Gilliam would make. Think "Black Wings" (Mr. Tom) or "The Killing Moon" (Echo & the Bunnymen). If you were to wander a barren expanse in the western portion of this country killing hookers, drinking whiskey, riding a horse with a poorly constructed robotic leg, and running from the devil, what would you want to listen to? What songs would you write?" And this mix is what I came up with.
Klezmerica - Minnesota Tango
Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska
Crooked Fingers - Bad Man Coming
Tom Waits - Goin’ Out West
The Gun Club - A Devil in the Woods
Th’ Legendary Shack*Shakers - Where’s the Devil…When You Need Him?
The Meat Purveyors - I Have a Devil in Me
Grievous Angels - Hanging Songs
Ghoultown - Killer in Texas
Reverend Glasseye - No Road Out of Houston
Slim Cessna’s Auto Club - This Is How We Do Things in the Country
