“Are You . . . Blushing?” Natasha Romanoff x Stark! Reader
Tumblr media
Pepper Potts walks into Tony Stark's gym finding Tony and his bodyguard - Happy Hogan fighting in a boxing ring, and (Y/n) Stark - Tony's twenty-four-year-old daughter attacking a punching bag.
"The notary's here!" Pepper call as she enters the room and (Y/n) looks over from the punching bag, extinguishing the fire around her fists. (Y/n)'s dog, a husky puppy named Balto, looks up at his owner, his tongue coming to stick out of his mouth. Balto rises to his paws, and (Y/n) kneels to scratch behind the dog's ears.
Tumblr media
"Can you please come to sign the transfer paperwork?" Pepper asks and (Y/n) begins attacking the punching bag without her fire-fists.
"I'm on happy time," Tony responds and (Y/n) rolls her eyes, Balto looking over at Pepper and bounding over to the auburn-haired woman.
(Y/n) glances over at Happy and her father as Tony says, "Sorry."
"What the hell was that?" Happy asks.
"It's called mixed martial arts," Tony answers, bouncing up-and-down on the balls of his feet. "It's been around for three weeks."
"It's called dirty boxing," Happy retorts. "There's nothing new about it."
"He's got a point, Dad," (Y/n) says, fixing her brilliant (E/c) eyes back on the punching bag in front of her.
"All right, put them up," Tony tells Happy. "Come on."
Happy pauses, looking at the woman who had just walked into the gym, Tony following his bodyguard's gaze. The only noise seemingly left in the room was the sound of (Y/n)'s bandaged fists against the punching bag. Once she realizes, however, that all the other noise had stopped, she looks over and hardly flinches when the punching bag swings back, hitting the young woman.
Balto bounds eagerly over to the dark ginger-haired woman who had just walked into the room and the woman leans down, scratching behind the dog's ears.
"I promise you this is the only time I will ask you to sign over your company," Pepper says as Balto bounds back over to (Y/n), and the redhead continues towards Pepper.
(Y/n)'s attention turns to the two red-haired women as the shorter one, who'd just walked in, holds out a binder, "I need you to initial each box."
(Y/n) walks over to the edge of the boxing ring as her father punches Happy a few more times, the (H/c) haired woman half-heartedly ringing the bell.
"That's it," Happy says. "I'm done."
"Oh, so it's my turn?" (Y/n) asks, a mischievous look spreading across her face. (Y/n) jumps up and lifts the ropes so Happy could climb out, before climbing in herself.
"What's your name, lady?" Tony asks, pointing to the new woman with the binder. (Y/n) crosses her arms, her well-muscled arms flexing at the movement.
"Rushman. Natalie Rushman," the woman, Natalie, answers.
"Front and center. Come into the church," Tony says.
"No. You're seriously not gonna ask . . ." Pepper begins, and one of (Y/n)'s eyebrows raises at her father's request.
"If it pleases the court, which it does," Tony says.
"What court we talking about?" (Y/n) asks with a roll of her eyes. Balto barks in seeming agreement and (Y/n) laughs.
"It's no problem," Natalie tells Pepper.
"I'm sorry," Pepper says apologetically.
"He's very eccentric," (Y/n) says and Tony shoots a playful glare at his daughter as he holds the ropes up for Natalie to climb into the ring.
Tony and Natalie look at each other for a few moments, long enough to make (Y/n) feel slightly uncomfortable, and she looks down at Happy below her.
"What?" Tony asks drawing (Y/n)'s attention back to the two. "Can you give her a lesson?"
"Me?" (Y/n) asks, then she shrugs. "No problem."
"Don't kill the woman," Tony says, leaving the ring.
"Believe me, I won't," (Y/n) answers with, yet another, eye roll. "You ever boxed before?" (Y/n) asks, uncrossing her arms and taking a step forward.
"I have, yes," Natalie answers.
"How do I spell your name, Natalie?" Tony asks.
"Don't -" (Y/n) goes to say.
"R-U-S-H-M-A-N," Natalie spells out and (Y/n) shakes her head, looking down.
(Y/n) clears her throat, looking up again. "Rule number one, never take your eye off your opponent." (Y/n) throws a half-hearted punch but Natalie catches it, twisting her fist, and flooring her.
"Oh, my God!" Pepper exclaims, sitting up and Balto lets out a bark.
"Whoa!" Tony says.
Natalie jumps to her feet, offering her hand to (Y/n), who takes it, meeting silvery-green eyes. Natalie's eyes flicker towards (Y/n)'s neck where a silver chain was hanging, the middle of the necklace tucked into her shirt.
"Serious respect," (Y/n) says, an impressed look in her eyes, dropping her hand.
"Looks like a TKO to me," Tony says, ringing the bell as the two women exit the ring.
"Just . . . " Natalie turns to Tony as (Y/n) walks over to Balto. "I need your impression."
"You have a quiet reserve," Tony answers. "I don't know, you have an old soul."
"I meant your fingerprint," Natalie cuts Tony off and (Y/n) stifles a laugh.
"Right," Tony says.
"So, how we doing?" Pepper asks, walking up, as (Y/n) pulls on a hoodie and clipping Balto to his leash.
"WIll that be all, Mr. Stark?" Natalie asks as (Y/n) walks towards the hallway.
"No."
"Yes, that will be all, Ms. Rushman." Pepper interupts Tony. "Thank you very much."
A week later finds Tony, Pepper, and (Y/n) arriving in Monaco, (Y/n) having left Balto with her cousins.
Happy park Tony's Rolls Royce in front of a restaurant near the race track, Pepper, Tony, and (Y/n) exiting from the car. Tony was wearing a suit, Pepper a black dress, and (Y/n), looking less fancy, was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a leather jacket.
"You know, it's Europe," Tony tells Pepper, (Y/n) and Happy walking behind the two. "Whatever happens in the next twenty minutes, just go with it."
"Go with it?" Pepper asks. "Go with what?"
"Mr. Stark?" Natalie asks.
"Hey," Tony greets Natalie.
"Hello," Natalie says with a smile. "How was your flight?" she asks.
"It was excellent," Tony answers and Natalie catches (Y/n)'s eye roll and smiles wider. "Boy, it's nice to see you," Tony continues.
"We have one photographer from the ACM, if you don't mind," Natalie tells Tony, pointing to a table.
Tony and Pepper argue for a few moments and (Y/n) steps around the two to stand by Natalie.
"Right this way," Natalie says, and (Y/n) follows close behind, Tony and Pepper following (Y/n).
Pepper begins talking to Elon Musk, and Tony walks up as well. (Y/n) and Natalie sit down at the corner table, Natalie taking the seat beside (Y/n).
"So, Ms. Stark," Natalie begins but (Y/n) stops her with a hand.
"Please, (Y/n)," (Y/n) says and Natalie smiles.
"Right, (Y/n)," Natalie begins again. "Where's your cute dog?" she asks and (Y/n) raises an eyebrow.
"Balto?" (Y/n) questions. "He's staying with my cousin."
Natalie's eye raise with interest and goes to say something, but she's cut off by Pepper calling the two's names.
Natalie and (Y/n) exchange looks as they walk over to Pepper.
"Did you two know about this?" Pepper asks and the two look up at the TV screen.
"This is the first that I have known of it," Natalie answers and (Y/n) sheds her jacket and the (H/c) haired woman catches Natalie's eyes stray to her arms before Natalie turns her attention back to Pepper.
"This cannot happen," Pepper presses.
"Absolutely. I understand. How can I help you?" Natalie asks.
"Where's Happy?" Pepper asks.
"He's waiting outside," Natalie informs the auburn-haired woman.
"Okay, get him," Pepper tells her. "I need Happy."
"Right away," Natalie agrees. (Y/n) tosses the woman her jacket as Natalie walks away.
As the two are waiting, the race begins, and (Y/n), lets out a groan as she watches her father in the race.
(Y/n)'s gaze remains on the TV as a man steps out onto the track.
"Pepper, I gotta go," (Y/n) says, and Pepper nods in understanding.
(Y/n) dashes out the door and begins looking around. She begins sliding her way through the people and bolts to where the man had entered the track. As she approaches, she catches sight of a man wielding some sort of electric whips.
She watches as if in slow motion, the car speed forward, and the whip comes down, slicing the car in half. The car flips. Sparks fly. The car lands upside down on the road and (Y/n) begins climbing up the fence and flips down onto the track. As she lands, she sees her father's car speeding towards the man and horror shoots through (Y/n) as his car also gets cut and flips.
(Y/n) thrusts out her hand, using a jet of wind to lower the car gently to the ground before advancing towards the car. She pushes her hands against the car in flips it over, glancing at her father still in the seat.
"You freaking idiot!" (Y/n) screams at him, pulling him out of the car.
(Y/n) pulls Tony down and the two dive out of the way as the two whips come down where they'd just been.
(Y/n) whips around to face the man with the whips and the man flicks them and (Y/n) dives out of the way again, rolling, then jumping to her feet.
(Y/n) thrusts out her left hand to shoot a jet of fire but the man flicks the whips. One catches around her elbow, slicing the bottom half of her arm clean off.
At that moment, Pepper and Happy drive up in the Rolls Royce, smashing the guy against the metal fence.
(Y/n), her right-hand shaking, her eyes wide with shock, uses a blast of ice to incase her left arm.
(Y/n) doesn't know what's going on as she had slumped against one of the walls of the track in shock. The next thing she knew, she was being lifted onto a stretcher and whisked off to a hospital.
When (Y/n) wakes up, she finds Natalie, or rather, Natasha, holding her right hand.
(Y/n) squeezes her wife's hand and Natasha jolts awake.
"(Y/n)! Don't you ever do that again!" Natasha whispers, lifting (Y/n)'s right hand and kissing the top of it.
"Calm down, pretty girl," (Y/n) murmurs and Natasha's cheeks flush pink.
"Are you blushing?" (Y/n) asks with a smile, though she winces when her left pulses with pain.
"No," Natasha grumbles, and (Y/n) laughs softly. "Oh, this is yours." Natasha reaches over and picks up (Y/n)'s jacket.
"Keep it," (Y/n) says simply, looking down at her left arm which had been stitched at the bottom, the doctors hoping for (Y/n)'s skin to heal itself so she would be able to either make her own or have a prosthetic made. "I'll need one-armed clothes now," (Y/n) says, squeezing Natasha's hand. "Anyway, you know my clothes look better on you."
Natasha's cheeks flush again, "Such a romantic, Mrs. Romanoff."
"That's why you love me," (Y/n) sings.
"Yeah, I do," Natasha says, making (Y/n) blush a little this time.
"Are you . . ." Natasha pauses, letting out a fake gasp, "blushing?"

Champagne Problems
Chapter Two
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Aelin Galathynius was tired, but that was what you got when you decided to wake up at six in the morning. Aelin doesn’t remember how Rowan convinced her that 6:30 was a perfectly acceptable time to run in the morning, or how six a.m. really wasn’t thatearly, but she despised him for it.  She knew that was a lie, that she adored Rowan, but every time her alarm goes off, she can’t help but silently curse her best friend.
Aelin was not a morning person.  One of the only ways she could actually meet Rowan on time most mornings was by sleeping in her leggings, or her gym clothes, that way most mornings all she would have to do was push her feet in her sneakers and pull her golden blonde hair into a pony and be out the door.  Coffee also may or may not help her get her day started.
She had a Keurig in her apartment, and the sugariest, most creamy coffee creamer in the fridge to help her wake up in the morning.  So that how she usually started her mornings: shoes, hair, and coffee.
The caffine and the sugar in her drink wakes her up as she sips her drink on the way to meet Rowan in front of the campus library, managing to recycle the empty cup just before she sees Rowan.
They have been going on these morning runs for nearly two years now, since they decided to put their differences beside and become friends. They hated each other when they first met, both dealing with their own inner demons and not realizing that the person they each hated reminded themselves a little too much of what they saw when they looked in the mirror. When they finally called a truce, they decided the both needed a better way to deal with their loss and the stress of the world, hence the near daily jogs.
Even though she hated the early mornings, Aelin would be the first to admit that the runs helped.  She was no longer drinking herself half to death and getting into fist fights, and instead was feeling the steady pound of her feet on the pavement and the beat of her heart as she pushed her body to its limit.  Aelin had always been active in her childhood, avidly practicing karate and mixed martial arts until she was sixteen, she didn’t realize how much she craved the endorphins of exercise and a runner’s high until she was nineteen and started to run with Rowan.
Early on into her friendship with Rowan, Aelin decided becoming friends was one of the best things she had ever done.  Together they had decided to walk the path back to the light, and it had changed Aelin’s life for the better.  Nearing the end of her Junior year at the University of Terrasen, Aelin no longer felt like that angry and bitter freshmen she once was.
Aelin noticed Rowan seemed tired as she approached him, though she supposed that wasn’t odd.  She knew from Sam that he and the guys went out get drinks last night, he usually just wasn’t quite so hung over.  As one of the “healthy lifestyle choices”, as Rowan liked to put it, that they would partake in together was to no longer overindulge in alcohol, and drink their problems away.  Though perhaps this time it was in celebration, as he was approaching the end of his senior year, and she knew how beyond excited he was about starting his master’s program coming that fall.
Though they no longer overindulged, Aelin missed drinking with Rowan.  Rowan got goofy when he drank and damn her if it wasn’t one of the cutest things she had ever seen.  Especially how he giggled when he was tipsy, and she was telling some stupid joke.  She missed him, their lives had been so hectic lately between finishing up the semester and splitting their time among their various friends.
Rowan sighed as they began their run.  Aelin glanced over at Rowan. Who was scowling his way through his morning workout, that at least was semi-normal.  Rowan was not the mostly openly happy man on the best of days, scowling while running through his hangover seemed just like Rowan. They made their way through campus and ran past some of the historic buildings of downtown Orynth.  Aelin always loved this part of the city, she liked to imagine the lives of the long-ago royals as she ran past the palace and what used to be the mansions and hot spots of the wealthy.
The buildings still belonged to the wealthy, but now they mostly made-up high-end apartment buildings and trendy boutiques and restaurants  near the U of T campus. Aelin should know, her apartment was located inside one of the former mansions, now a trendy apartment complex, near the palace and just a fifteen-minute walk to the campus library.
Aelin and Rowan’s pace began to slow down as they reached the end of their five-mile run, they had almost made it back to the library, the halfway point between both of their apartments.  When they finally reached their stopping point, Aelin flashed Rowan a smile over her shoulder which her warily returned.
“Well, you certainly worked your alcohol consumption off now.” Aelin joked towards Rowan, who just scowled in return.  “You can now go out again tonight, and not feel guilty about all the drinks you downed yesterday.”
“I didn’t drink that much,” Rowan protested.
“Really? That’s not what Sam told me,” Aelin shot back snarkily.  Rowan just sighed, and Aelin flashed him a triumphant grin. “Will I see you at the Cadre tonight?” she asked, naming their local haunt for cheap drinks near campus.
Rowan just solemnly nodded and said “See you tonight, Ace.” As he trudged his way back to his own apartment.
Aelin smiled to herself as she strolled at a leisurely pace as she made her way back to her own apartment.  Aelin loved her apartment.  She loved the white marble counter tops in her kitchen, her sofa in her living room, perfect for lounging the day away, it was her safe haven.  Aelin purchased the place right after her freshmen year of College ended, she would soon be moving out of her dorm and she needed a place to call home, since she could not stand to be alone in the house where she and her parents once lived.
One of the newer fixtures in Aelin apartment was her boyfriend, Sam Cortland.  She had just recently given him a key, so he saw fit to come to her apartment whenever he pleased.
“I see you let yourself in.” Aelin called as she walked through the door.
Sam looked up and grinned at her from his seat at the kitchen island, “Just thought I’d check on my beautiful girlfriend, and see what she was up to today.”
“Besides finishing my English lit paper and getting out of these disgustingly sweaty clothes?” Aelin asked.
“Yes, besides that.” Sam laughed over his cup of coffee.
“I told Rowan I’d meet him at the Cadre tonight.” Aelin said, as she watched Sam’s face become closed off, as he stared deeply into his mug.
“Rowan didn’t say anything about last night, did he?” Sam asked cautiously.
Aelin snorted, “No. It seems you guys had fun last night, judging by Rowan’s hang over though,” Aelin laughed. “I’m surprised you’re up and functioning this morning,” Aelin said as she went over to poke her boyfriend in the stomach.
“Well, I clearly didn’t have as good of a night as Rowan did,” Sam laughed, “but I was thinking we could have a good night soon.” Aelin perked up. “How about Mistward’s next Friday night? We can invite the whole gang. It can be our celebration for graduating and finishing our sophomore year.”
“Mistwards, huh?” Aelin was skeptical, Mistward’s was one of the nicest restaurants in all of Orynth, and one of the most expensive. “Do you really think our friends would be up for that? I don’t think Lorcan can dress nicely enough to get into a place like Mistward’s.”
At the end of every school year, Aelin and all her friends would gather, usually at the Cadre, and have a huge blow out celebration for finishing up the school year.  This year was different since both Rowan and Sam were graduating, this celebration had to be better, and to reflect all of them, and MIstward’s definitely did not reflect Rowan.
“I think I can convince them,” Sam said with a sly grin.
“I don’t Know…”
“Come on, Aelin,” He was still smiling, “I got it covered.” He set his mug of coffee on the counter and got up to kiss her. He pulled her into his arms, holding her close.  She relaxed into his warmth.
“I’m surprised you’re willing to touch me; I’m covered in sweat.” Aelin mumbled into his chest.
Sam laughed heartily, “Maybe my intentions weren’t so pure, we’re both fairly sweaty now. How about I run us a shower.”
Aelin laughed and began to walk into her bathroom to run a shower for the both of them.

Ayesha!! How about 'sometimes i just can’t stop kissing your stupid face' from your prompt list? <3
I'm spilling wine in the bathtub, you kiss my face and we're both drunk
Drabble
Warnings: Nudity, I guess? Brief mentions of war, flashbacks, and PTSD. No alcoholic drinks involved, in spite of the title. It’s hurt/comfort, my dudes, I don’t know what to tell you.
A/N: Apparently, fluffy Sam ideas inspire the softie, songfic writer in me, because this prompt reminded me of the above lyric from Dress by Taylor Swift. Thank you for the request, Helios!

Sam enters the bedroom from the en-suite bath with a tired smile and a sweet nod, both aimed at you, unspoken gestures in the wordless language you have built over the years to tell you the bath is ready. You fiddle with the tie of the robe you’re wearing, somehow shy and apologetic at having come to him for comfort, even though he has already reassured you multiple times that you aren’t a burden.
You’re his best friend, and he’s happy to be there for you whenever you need it. “You’re allowed to not want to be alone,” he says again, approaching you with open arms and you sink into that embrace with stubborn tears stinging your eyes, tears that you push back fiercely. An exhale leaves you with a shudder, and you nods against his cashmere-clad, solid shoulder.
“Thanks, Sammy,” you say, pulling back. You don’t try to apologize again, in part because you don’t know if you have the words to, but mostly because the fervently protective look in Sam’s eyes tells you he’s not going to stand for it. “I appreciate it.”
Only nodding again, he lets you go with a quick rub of your shoulder blades with the hands you know better than any other.
The bathroom is lit with the glow of a glorious autumn sunset, and there’s a solitary candle named Soaring Around -- you snort involuntarily -- on the vanity, that you inhale the scent of before turning to the bath. It’s cloudy with opalescent bubbles, the rainbow hues reflecting onto the wall like in a miniature disco party. Hanging the robe up behind you, you step into the warm water, that smells of jasmine, and something tells you Sam has probably added Epsom salts to soothe the ache in your muscles.
Sinking into the water releases a sigh that seems to escape from your body as much as it does your mouth, and you almost forget about what brought you here. Namely an exhausting day at the gym, haunted by flashbacks like you haven’t had in months. Images of war and bullets, explosions and gunfire, in between the mixed martial arts lessons you teach to anyone who wants them.
You were honorably discharged from your job as a Marine a little over a year ago, after a hostage situation gone terribly wrong and a consequent PTSD diagnosis, and it’s been hard to readjust, even with Sam’s help. Inseparable since childhood -- you were neighbors, grew up side by side -- until you went to war on different fronts. The thought of coming home, the memory of Sam waiting at the airport when you stepped out, remembering the secure hold he had enveloped you in warms you from ankle to toe.
He’s a good man, Sam Wilson. One of the best there is, you’re convinced, but more than that, he’s a good friend. Steadfast and patient throughout your recovery, and your re-acclimation to normal life after near back-to-back tours. Never wavering once.
The closeness has been reawakening things you thought you buried as a high-school crush, but there hasn’t been any room to move forward in. For one, you’re too scared to break a good thing, the best thing that ever happened to you. For all the solid strength this friendship brings you, it feels as fragile as glass these days. Teetering on the edge of something great, something golden, that feels like it’s been carved into your fates since the moment you shook chubby hands as toddlers. But something always makes you take the teetering see-saw off the pivot, place it on the flat, even ground, never letting it rise any higher.
Persuading yourself that it’s because you aren’t in any state for romance is easy, although internally you’re aware it’s a lie. Progress has been made in leaps and bounds, with stumbling blocks like today in between, but you’re no longer the shell of a woman you were when you arrived seaside a year ago, and that, in large parts, is due to Sam.
This is not to say that you haven’t returned the favor, because you have. It’s why you chose D.C. Sam can take care of himself, but he shouldn’t have to -- how hypocritical of you, honey, you hear him say in your head. Coming home from the studio to him sitting in front of your door, red-eyed with phantom menaces in his head. Panicked calls at two in the morning, Sam’s husky voice rasping tired and sleep deprived, barely controlling the fear after another nightmare, your own voice the only thing able to talk him down. Sometimes failing entirely, turning to concrete at the thought of any terrible thing happening to him because what the hell would you do if he--
“Bumblebee?” Sam calls, using the nickname he adopted for you as a teenager, joking that your mind buzzed as loud as the insect, that he could hear you thinking faster than you could talk, which is really saying something considering your chatterbox of a mout--  “You okay?” He asks, when you take too long to answer.
“Yeah, fine, Sam,” you call back, pulse pounding.
A heartbeat’s count passes. And then three more, before he speaks again. “I have tea,” he says cautiously, and you know why. He isn’t telling you to hurry up, he’s asking for permission to enter.
“Then what are you waiting for?” You say, the grin on your face no longer forced. The bubbles and the milky water cover you just enough, and a pesky ghost whispers in your ear: do you care if they don’t?
The door creaks open and Sam appears with two mugs in hand; yours has a Daffy Duck cartoon on it and his boasts the Avengers logo. “Hey,” he says, reaching down to give you the cup before settling down on the soft bathmat next to you.
“Hi,” you say, mind going into overdrive at his elbow resting on the edge of the tub, his tongue licking his lips after a sip of tea, the bubbles mirrored as polychromatic circles in his big eyes. You resent the water for obscuring their pure, brown beauty.
Those eyes look at you worried, with question marks in them now, and Sam goes to open his mouth but you answer him before he has to ask. “I’m okay, Sam, I don’t want to talk about it,” you tell him, honestly. “I feel a lot better just being here.” You don’t add around you, but that’s a given at this point.
He leans back dubiously. “Okay, but if you change your mind--”
“I’m here for you,” you finish with a nod and a grin. Exactly, his eyes say. “So the bath helped?”
“Yes,” you reply, and then ask about which salts he used, which turns to a question about why you needed them in the first place, and before you know it, you’re regaling him with stories about your most junior class, and his laughter fills the room as loudly as the fading sunlight does, love in the room warm and bright and tangible.
He tells you about training Spider-Man, his youngest recruit, and his mention of his meme usage makes you laugh so hard you spill a little tea, and then quiet down, drinking the rest quickly and putting away the mug. A satisfied sigh leaves you, your very bones now content and silent, waiting. Sam watches you patiently.
“What’re you looking at?”
His gaze is somber, and he leans forward, arms hovering over the edge of the tub to take your face in his hands, lays a soft peck on your left cheek, and then your right. Your skin grows hot under his touch, and he continues, placing a quick kiss on your forehead, grazing across the surface, then moving down to your closed eyelids, the tip of your nose and finally your chin.”I just love your stupid face, sometimes,” he says with a smirk and a shrug that is none too innocent, before circling over your face with his lips again, and again, and stopping only when you giggle to look at you meaningfully, thumbs stroking your pulse point.
Something gives you the nerve to say: “You missed a spot,” and rub your lips together so there is no ambiguity about which spot you mean. His eyes darken, deepen, and there are no more questions now. No doubts. Whether in a moment of madness, or impulse too strong, the balance tips over and his lips slant over yours.
Sam kisses like he hugs -- heated, all-consuming, until the world falls away and he is everything. Your hands find themselves forming fists in his shirt as you push forward, water lapping gently at you, not as warm as his hands cradling your face, his lips pushing and pulling. Mouths open, then, and the taste of mint tea meets camomile with a pressure sweet and ferocious.
Time passes in inhales between kisses, and it takes half a dozen brief, sharp gasps between the meeting of your lips before you admit to being breathless, and lean back. Sam presses in with one more passionate kiss, both his lips engulfing your bottom one as he pulls away, a soft groan emitted at the warmth.
When you open your eyes, he’s still holding you, and your hands stroke his wrists, return the steady, intent look he is giving you. The one that tells you, without spoken words, that he loves you. You let the tilt of your forehead to meet his, the gentle kiss you bestow the corner of his lip, say I love you, back.
