They found time to practice every day after that. No matter where they were or what the weather was, Carla would find a place and reason to dance. Even if it was just to practice a few new steps. She relished in the time they spent, eager to learn each and every new step and sequence. Victor was patient with her, carefully guiding her through the steps and never scolding her when she mis-stepped, only encouraging her to try again. There were times where Carla had to stifle down her laughter at how utterly ridiculous her father looked when demonstrating the woman’s part of the dances, which got increasingly easier as she got older and taller. As she grew, so did her sense of rhythm and coordination. Dancing felt natural and right to her.

That is such an interesting trio to work with, @missnobodynobodius. I love it! lol

Slow Burn: Slow burns tend to have the most fulfilling kind of dynamic and are usually set up to be endgame, so I’ll go with Esteban. I feel our personalities could work together, and there’d be mutual growth…but after some initial awkwardness/light bickering. (Also, I just really love Esteban.)

Fake Date: Michael. I feel like the other two would try to call all the shots with fake dating, and the Doctor (any of them) would ditch me to go investigate something, so it wouldn’t be a fun time. Michael, on the other hand, would be a fun fake date. We’d goof off and have a blast.

Enemies To Lovers: That leaves the Doctor. I’d probably go with Twelve. As much as I love the Doctor, I recognize I’d want to fight him/them/her in real life. There’s this moral superiority complex that wouldn’t work with me, and the Doctor can show a staggering lack of respect for other people’s decisions/POV. At the same time, I appreciate the dedication to saving people/worlds, so…

Actually, most quincenera dresses look like that. Maybe in this case, the colors were badly matched but I think it was kinda symbolic about Naomi trying to balance her old life as a fun girl from the port (blues) and her new life as a graceful member of the royal court (pinks/purples). Still, the ruffles and design is accurate to reality, supposed to be over-the top. It’s not my fav but I’m used to it(I don’t exactly need pity xD). And agreed, Naomi needs more dresses!

I APPRECIATE THE EDUCATION.

But it’s still a disaster.

Now that the show’s over and we still haven’t seen the Esteparents, I would like to reveal the one, the only amazing @missnobodynobodius​‘s art (check out her tumblr for more eye candy of all your fav EoA characters) for Esteban’s Mamí!  She made this like three or four years ago when Esteban’s parents were mere speculation and took my crazy old hcs for Josefina Flores to create this pic.  Now my chosen name was wrong, but I still think the portrait still stands. A perfect blend of Francisco and Luisa, and what Esteban may have inherited some of his stunning looks.

What does their name mean?

“Prudentia” just means Prudence.

“Prentiss” means Apprentice.

Why did you choose that name for your apprentice?

“Prudentia” has a very old fashioned conservative vibe. I liked the idea that she gets into fights with people and doesn’t think twice about doing the right thing - but her name literally means “cautious and wise”. 

“Prentiss” is pretty much self explanatory. :,D 

Do they have any nicknames or favourite pet names?

Everyone calls her “Prentiss”, last name only.

Day 5 - Jewels (Eleteo – Never In A Million Years)

- When I heard the Prince of Egypt soundtrack for the first time two weeks ago, I fell in love with it (and sobbing), even more than the original movie Soundtrack, which I had not thought possible...

The theme jewels is here because the thoughts about the Amulet of Avalor are what started this video.

PLOT:

Elena and Mateo think about what would have happened if Elena had never been trapped in the amulet. This was inspired by the Reverse Avalor AU by @just-a-random-soul-things and @missnobodynobodius and the sad fairytale Der Brautspiegel (The Bride Mirror) by Victor Blüthgen.

They still would have met on formal occasions at court but never developed their close friendship. Elena would have no magic to get a chance to learn with Mateo and with an age gap of 41 years they never moved in the same friendship circles to begin with.

Upon seeing each other, both feel an acute sense of loss they cannot explain for the soulmate romance that never was.

No longer dwelling on what ifs, both are grateful for their bond and take the next step into romance after Elena's coronation with the assurance to never let go this chance in a million.

How about The Good Place for the fandom meme? 😄

Thanks for the ask, @missnobodynobodius! :) My main ships are italicized, and, yes, I’m aware I have split interests with some ships. Haha.

How I first got into it: While I saw a promo for it when S1 aired, I didn’t check out The Good Place until people I followed on twitter started talking about it, and someone mentioned a twist at the end of S1. My instinct was, ‘I bet it’s not really The Good Place’, so I binged it to find out if I was correct. I was. I don’t know whether I’d have guessed that if I didn’t know there was a twist.

Everything I ship: Jason/Janet, Michael/Eleanor, Michael/Vicky, Elhani, Cheleanor, Chelhani (is that the polyship name?), Chidi/Simone, Eleanor/Simone, and Chidi/Eleanor/Simone. I think that’s it. There might be others I forgot.

My favourite platonic relationship(s): Michael and Janet have a great bond. I love them.

Top 3 Characters: Michael, Jason Mendoza, and Vicky (she grew on me, and I have a huge crush on Tiya, so...)

One of my favourite scenes: Wow, there are so many. If I had to pick one off the top of my head, I’d go with the montage of reboot failures in DDR. It’s just a fun sequence that lets us see the real Michael.

Links to three fan works I like: This great Existential Crisis!Michael, protective Michael, and my favorite Michael aesthetic. I don’t pretend not to have a clear favorite. There are plenty of talented people in the fandom, and their work ranges from humorous, cute, angsty, etc.

Favourite Fandom meme/inside joke: Exclaiming “THIS is the Bad Place!” whenever something - big or small - goes wrong. I am also fond of the Jason Mendoza/Jacksonville Jaguars thing.
