STACEY CRAWFORD
A person going missing or turning up murdered is not the fault of anyone's but the person(s) who killed them or made them disappear. Law enforcement doesn't disclose everything about a case to the public so you don't know the whole case. Judging people on the worst moment of their entire lives isn't helpful. Pointing fingers at the victim instead of the people responsible isn't helpful. Have some empathy and put yourself in her shoes. She deserves to be found!
If you want to be helpful, here are some ways to help: share her missing post, talk to people about her being missing, share what you know or have heard with law enforcement, myself, or our family, look at your surroundings when your out and about to look for her, look around on your property for her, pray for her to be found, pray that law enforcement obtains all the necessary evidence to find her and the person(s) responsible, pray for her children and family.
Please contact the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 423-942-2525 or myself at 706-392-8526 if you have any information that may help us. Our family is still offering a $7,000 reward for information that leads to her whereabouts.

Tonja Conley, 27: Memphis Woman Left Aunt's House & Disappeared
Only a few sentences will surface if you look for information about Tonja Conley. Like many cases involving Black women, Tonja’s story can only be found in the government’s National Missing Persons and Unidentified System, as well as a few brief online news reports out of Memphis, Tennessee. According to Fox 13 Memphis, Tonja Conley was last physically seen leaving her aunt’s residence on the…

Hail to the Old Gods;
The ancient ones, Deities of forest, mountain, and sea, for whom my ancestors poured from their ram horns.
Hail to the god of emotions, who teaches us when to embrace chaos and when to refrain for the moment.
Hail to the goddess of seiðr, who holds the key of divination in the waves of her golden hair trailing down her breasts.
Hail to the god of strength, guardian of the deer herds, who teaches me when to cry for help and when to stand and gore. Hail to the Allfather, whose unconventional wisdom hurt me greatly in the moment, but saved my soul from perpetual insanity through the binding of runes.
(Thank you all for everything)
Hail to the Old Gods.

Was engaging in my favorite hobby of Curating Lists (specifically in this case of the states I have visited and the ones I have yet to visit) and was wondering…which state would you all most like to visit that you haven’t been to yet and what city/area/site would you want to go there for?

Jennifer and Adrianna Wix have been missing since March 25th, 2004. The mother and daughter were reportedly last seen together between 9:00 and 9:30 PM that evening in Cross Plains, Tennessee. Since then, the whereabouts of Jennifer and Adrianna remain unknown to this day.
At the time of their disappearance, Jennifer, then 21, and Adrianna, then 2, lived in Cross Plains with Jennifer's boyfriend, Joey Benton, and his parents, Joseph and Cindy Benton. Jennifer and Joey reportedly began dating during the summer of 2003. Jennifer and Adrianna moved into the Benton's home in December of 2003 - just a few short months before they vanished.
Family members of Jennifer and Adrianna stated that Jennifer was struggling at the Benton home in the days leading up to her disappearance. In fact, she called her mother on March 24th - the day before she vanished - upset over a fight she had with someone in the Benton family. The next morning, Jennifer called her aunt, Lisa Fierro, and said she no longer wanted to live with the Benton's.
According to Lisa, Jennifer said she planned to tell Joey that she and Adrianna were going to move out. Lisa explained that Jennifer told her, "If he does not agree for us to leave when he gets home, I’m leaving and I’m coming [to your house].’” Lisa subsequently left a spare key out at her house for Jennifer to use. Jennifer and Adrianna never arrived at the residence.
Later that morning, Jennifer spoke on the phone with her father. During their conversation, Jennifer talked about her fight with the Benton family. She also told her father she was looking forward to seeing him the following week. Nothing about their conversation indicated that the loved ones of Jennifer and Adrianna would never see or hear from them again. However, that phone call was Jennifer's last documented contact before both her and her daughter vanished.

I thought my bumper stickers had finally caught up to be today. (I have a ‘Here I go in my big GAY car’ sticker and a Chappell Roan bumper sticker.)
A lady pulled up beside me at a stop light and got my roommate’s attention. She asked me to roll down my window. I was fully prepared for something rude. And she yelled ‘Your stickers made me smile! You guys are awesome!’. And when she drove away, she had a Human Rights Campaign sticker on her car. :’)
If anything, I’m prepared to be more visibly queer than I have been.

I'm mourning the loss of strangers right now, giving them my tears. Several workers at Impact Plastics in Tennessee were killed because they were told they would be fired if they left work during due to the hurricane. Many of them drowned and others are still missing. All of them are Latinas.

it is so fucking unfortunate and heartbreaking knowing that the only publicity your area is getting now and probably will for the next while is for the fact that the mountains flooded, when, famously, the mountains do not flood. especially when there are whole towns (2000 ft+ in elevation, mind you) that have been completely washed off the map or stranded. and we're supposed to relive this in a week's time.

Amanda Poole has been missing since October 8th, 2015. The young girl was only 16 years-old at the time of her disappearance. Amanda left her Memphis, Tennessee home on the morning she vanished, presumably to go to school, but she never arrived. She also never returned home and has never been seen or heard from again.
According to reports, Amanda lived with her aunt in the 2300 block of Cliffdale Cove prior to her disappearance. She was a student at a local high school. Amanda's mother, Tammie Leshure, said that she does not believe Amanda had any reason to run away. A year after Amanda went missing, Tammie told reporters, "I think she just met up with the wrong people. I don't feel like she ran away. I feel like something else must've happened."
Years have passed, and Amanda remains missing. There are very few details available about the investigation into her disappearance. Amanda's disappearance is now classified as a cold case.
Investigators have appealed to the public for anyone with information that could solve Amanda's case to come forward. If you have any information that could help the investigation, please contact the Memphis Police Department at 901-636-4479.
