how sstrange! just checked: it's stated as purple in Miss Dreams shinsoban,

yet ochre in my physical official shinsoban copy too!

(and yeah everyone the kana in their screenshot does spell Ochre, 黄土色, kōdoiro)

and this sketch isn't even present in the original Nakayoshi version, which is around the same time as the one made for Materials Collection (its literally the same sketch), i checked there first cus usually nakayoshi is the one with the concept designs and major differences between reprints.

so weird... purple just seemed to be her color, this could explain her bow color for sure since its still a reddish brown, as well as her yellow star brooch in the Shinsoban covers

I always assumed the ochre coloring had to with the color of what her staff/glaive originally was supposed to look like before it more of the scythe looking design, along with the colors of her front and back bows.

that's what i thought too but the brown ochre is never mentioned in the materials collection, not even for her wood staff

according to one of the fanartist there's screenshots floating around about this concept from Naoko but I can't find anything remotely like that. the closest we got is some concept art from Yoichi Fukano where Hotaru had brown hair and wore yellow

Binah and Bakene (Yumeno Yumemi and Rhett Butler)

Late submission for Day 4 of @smvillainsweek 2023, theme: "Origin / Reincarnation". This is the past life of Yumemi Yumeno and Rhett Butler- two of the Seven Great Youma-, before the Golden Kingdom had fully become the Dark Kingdom and before the invasion of the moon. This piece is directly Inspired by the "Our Super Weapon R" doujinshi / fan manga from 2003, by Senhi Shinban and Kazuyuki Tsukine. It was a completed 3 volume doujinshi (which is SFW, and involves all seven Great Youma (especially Ryo Urawa / Bunbo), as well as Naru, Thetis, the Shitennou, the Makaiju aliens, and other characters). Our Super Weapon R has never been fully translated, but raw Japanese scans can be found on MissDream (as well as volume 2 and volume 3). This year marks the 20th anniversary of this cool doujinshi! Here's their original artwork for comparison:

I'd love to see a full translation of this doujinshi, since I've been trying to read it with Google translate and can only get a rough idea of the story. It seems like a kindred spirit to some of my own ideas, and an inspiration I'd like to be able to reference in my own project! First though, I still want to make more pieces for Villains week. I have ideas for all 7 days but I only have day 6's piece started yet- hopefully I can go back and do my other ideas over the course of October? We'll see.

I love larian but in my opinion, the way they've tweaked AA's scenes over the updates paints a different picture than what we got when the game first released. And it doesn't help that they've portrayed Tav as fearful or unsure of their own lover in his kiss scenes. Is it major? Not really. But I do think it is enough to cause misunderstandings, especially between people who played the game in EA or as it released, and those who are just beginning to play.

But of course as you said, nothing in the game justifies someone to go and harass a creator for enjoying something. Which is unfortunate to see happening but Im not shocked as I've seen many fandoms end up this way recently 😞

Dude, I’m part of the Sailor Moon fandom. I know drama cause we had Elly from MissDream harass a Viz Editor off Twitter for making the translations wrong in her eyes.

Even though I’m new to BG3 fandom, I feel a connection to the vampire. He was used for sex to please his prey to bring to his master and uses sex to make others fall for his antics.

I like the Ascending scenes cause it shows how proud he is of getting rid of an abusive master and become the powerful Ascendant Vampire.

Anyways, picking up two sourcebooks from D&D to learn more about vampire lore in their universe. I been obsessed with vampires and scared of them cause I read all of the Anne Rice novels as a tween. There was one scene in Interview With The Vampire that caused me to be scared of curtains. That pretty much fucked me over.

But anyways, looking at clips and reading about Neil’s vision of Astarion, I can see why naysayers say you shouldn’t ascend our fave vampire spawn. Despite it is his end goal throughout the entire game.

Plus the bat form is cute. Hence the whole fic I was writing about started from drawings of that bat being coy in some artworks.

I am slowly reading/checking out positive Ascendant fics and a new Reddit that was made for fans because the previous Reddit had fans harassing others for liking him.

Funfact in the RunRun magazine, the first chapter in Sailor V is actually Pandora's Plot, which would be the second chapter in the Shinsoban and Kanzenban books

Lol you say that but I have been in fandoms where they have done exactly that for no apparent reason!! 

I would be doubtful that they would kill of Bellamy anyway but I just thought it would be interesting since Eliza and Bob have talked it up so much that maybe it is a really tragic end to the season!

Togashi Empire Doujinshi

This 20-page doujinshi, created by Yoshihiro Togashi and Naoko Takeuchi, was released on August 15th, 1999. I translated some of the original pages shared by fans. It contains a bunch of funny comics in celebration of the 1999 Hunter x Hunter TV animation, some trivia about the HxH character design, among other things. It can be purchased on mandarake.

Lastly, some trivia about the HxH character design and some of the character models. Hanzo is said to have appeared in Yu Yu Hakusho. So, his model is probably Kazemaru and/or Hokushin and the monks from Raizen's country.
