Today's polish is a white glitter crelly or maybe technically a flakey crelly since it has flakes in it. I don't know. 😂 I DO know this finish is really popular, but I haven't had much luck with the ones I've tried. This polish in particular is a prototype from a mystery bag I got last year. It has tiny blue, red, and gold metallic flakes that definitely give it a holiday vibe. I thought the metallic flakes looked pretty in the sun, but the rest of the time the polish just looked grey. Do I have any crelly lovers out there? If so, am I doing something wrong? I want to love crelly polishes, but I can't find one I like and this one definitely isn't doing it for me. This is Misfits II from Rogue Lacquer.

“Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha II Part 2” The Opening Theme, First Promo, Spring 2024 Premiere

The official website of the television anime Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) unveiled a promotional video, the opening theme for the second half of the season. On April 13 at 12:00 a.m., Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 are the broadcasters of the anime, with Yomiuri TV, TV Aichi, and AT-X to follow.

I 100% am on board with Dropout needing more transfem representation. At the same time, it bothers me how people refer to mismag as the "terf season" or "HP love letter," because it's so obvious to me that the people who say that didn't actually watch it. Season 1 was about making fun of HP and its horrible author, and season 2 is about stepping away from HP and making a new world of magic outside of HP. Maybe that doesn't matter, maybe the affiliation to HP is still too much for some people, but it just rubs me the wrong way every time I see it

I love hearing aabria talk because I feel like she has incredibly thoughtful analysis about a lot of things people will brush off (which is why she's the perfect dm for mismag! but I digress). because hearing her talk about that emotional and intellectual reflective experience of being 20-21 (as someone who is 23 and had experienced that pretty recently) is like. very refreshing to hear because I'm very used to people reducing that age experience to "you're still just a dumb kid" and apart from being reductive, it doesn't really give thought to a fuller breadth of life experience

like it is extremely true where this is a period of life where you evaluate your ideals and the practical size of your dreams, what that means, and most importantly, you're thinking about those things before you calcify (her word choice, not mine, but a very good one). I think it gives not only a lot of the characters in the second season of mismag more context and fullness, but also give characters of that age from other media a necessary contextualization, and it allows you to have a more accurate perspective of the people in your life that are that age, should there actually be any

This is fucking beautiful. This season is so good, I think it might actually be my favourite. They're such wonderful characters with such beautiful relationships.

everything the pilot program does is just. so meaningful. they operate as a unit even after years apart and just days together.

evan is the blood and brain, a ward and a warning, not a font of creation but the one cleaning up such that new works can be made. he twists himself, a being made for darkness, to serve the protection of his friends and the destruction of those that oppose their ends.

sam is the lungs and senses, a greeting and a command, giving word to the world as it is and as she would like it to be. she puts herself forth, uncaring of the consequences, to serve the making of a new future for all people to do great things and be as they are.

k is the bones and nerves, a reservoir and a bulwark, channeling a strength of mind to a strength of body by pushing it forth to all of them, taking on the world that her friends might be the better for it. she uses intuition and internal strength to put the world in motion.

jammer is the muscle and heart, a link and a leader, taking the step forward with physical action and connection to others. he binds the group together with sincerity and hope, giving of himself to be the fulcrum point, around which those around him see change.
