Okay so Miroahout rambling :) so it's one of the main ships focused on this huge post-rotb AU I've been working on for around a year now. So Mirage and Knockouts relationship predates the war. They were best friends in this lil group of racers, Mirage, a rich bartender from Iacon, met KO (back when he was a Seeker named Redline) at one of his races on Velocitron. They were only friends at this point, Redline got with Breakdown, reformatted himself to become Knockout, became a cosmetic surgeon, and things were good. War hit, the friend group vanished and separated. Time skip a lot to on Earth, Breakdown follows his TFP fate and gets murked by another Decepticon, Knockout defects and joins the Autobots in New York (years after events of rotb) and bumps into a familiar face. Since Mirage used to be KOs best friend, they get along great due to that long time friendship and their shared passion for racing and the movies (as well as being very dramatic) lol. And Knockout meets Noah, who's Mirages boyfriend at the time (who in the AU was Cyberformed to be a robot and is training under Ratchet to become a medic) and things are going alright. Some bumps here and there. More time skips bc you gotta love em and oh look at that. Turns out they've got crushes on each other and long story super SUPER short, Miroahout was born and as it stands in the timeline, they are husbands/conjunx lmao. To put it short, Their relationship is basically two really competitive dramatic speedsters and their more introverted insomniac who doesn't have enough coffee in the world to deal with them lmfao. Theres a lot more to it and even a couple spinoffs (like the human AU, the Supernatural AU, and the amazingly nicknamed "Ebay Poly" AU lmfao) but yeah. Started out as a joke and became an obsession on Discord.

No because this is so good. It’s silly it’s interesting the plots combine super well this is so hype wtf. Especially the aus of aus bro?? You’re hype I’m down for this I dig it. I also like the backstory stuff! Hella creative

In my AU, Mirage and Knockout had known each other before the war, as well as a few other racers. Once the war hit, the friend group of speedsters disbanded to join their own sides of the war. After the murder of Breakdown, Knockout defected to join the Autobots and bumped into an old pre-war friend of his.

:3 us in a discord server discussion may have created a ship for my AU that spans the rotb and tfp universes and it stemmed from a single question.

Ex-Decepticon Knockout has joined the party.

Things are still being worked on. Especially timeline wise when everything takes place. Changing character back stories slightly since this isn't the Aligned Continuity but it's taking a lot of heavy inspiration on things from it. Red racer reunites with an old racing friend from before the war after loosing Breakdown and a new friendship forms
