Poster and more updates!!

We’ve been inactive for a while because of work realated stuff on my part and juggling animation and drawing with long summer work days.

But we have nearly the entire 1st ep finished in the sketch phase. And have started doing more inking.

We’re still looking for actors. Especially for the main cast.

Night King question. Does Sylva recognize the name Aera on the tomb? That would be an interesting little trip through history trying to figure out what happened that Ardyn became night king when some of the titles Noctis listed were Healer and beloved of Aera.

Well, she might recognize it, but since it’s just her first name, Sylva might not realize that it’s the same Aera. It’s been centuries after all, and Aera Mirius Fleuret was hardly the ONLY Aera in history. It’s more likely that this “Aera” was a mortal woman who died. That is how many turn to the Black Arts after all, if it is not greed, it’s grief from a lost loved one and the (totally false) belief that the Black Arts might bring them back.

Of course, because she’s smart, she might ... suspect. After all, so many crazy things have happened already, what is one more? So yeah I can see her going on a history hunt, though in the end her search would be inconclusive.

I honestly thought the runes were just made up gibberish set up to look cool. That's badass as all hell. Never expected an Einstein quote in a game about heavy metal.

Honestly it almost is gibberish ‘cause they kinda fucked up on the translations themselves. I wouldn’t have know the full thing if it hadn’t been a quote that I could look up knowing it was by Einstein. What it came out as without looking it up was:

“The most autiful thing we can ecsperiens is themirius. It is the sorsof al tru art and siens.  Albert Einstein”

Taige teaching Adelaide some simple yoga moves.

We have a head cannon that Taige would do yoga, but yoga doesn’t exist on Kinnori, so... maybe somethng simmilar. Hence his flexability. @behrbehrgraphics finally got the right skined toned pens for Adelaide (Clay, E44) and Taige (Light Walnut, E57), so she drew this.

I wanted to draw stars reflected in a helmet, but it leaked so I drew the leaky stuff.

Alien concept art 

One of the races we made, the Hedonians from Hedoni. This race hasn’t been fleshed out much in writing, because they’re only in one or two episodes at the moment; but they have tenticle-like lures like an angler fish on the back of their heads which can light up when they feel threatened and have a parelising/calming hyponosis effect on people expirienceing high levels of anger, rage or fear. Their eyes are really refective and you can see yourself in them adding to the effect. It’s kind of cool.

They live in rain forests and prefer to live in caves, cos it’s dark.

It’s Adeliade and Rubr under a bridge Listening to music. It’s a little peice of cannon that Rubr listens to Adeliade’s I-pod to calm himself when he’s stressed.

Rubr Delcorve of Tarprist.

He’s ridiculously multilingual from growing up around heaps of different aliens and his family education. He is a survivor of an alien attack on his home planet as a child, resulting in severe PTSD and travels a lot due to his situation. 

He became best friends with Adelaide and DeShawn after crashing on their outpost and growing to trust them. 

That’s about as much as we can put out for now, but will answer any questions.
