Can you give me the list of all the utapri songs released until this point to download please? I can't find a site for them. Thank you!
Unfortunately it's hard to find a website where we can just listen to the songs, aside from the few they've released so far (that haven't been region blocked). I constantly receive asks about this, and I can help, but I don't want these sources to be taken down. So to all the anons that sent me questions like this, I really ask you to send me a private message or an ask without being anonymous so that I can answer privately and better help you.
#mira chan answers#anon#i've seen links that were up for years being taken down as soon as i replied someone publicly with them here#so even though i have to answer one by one it's still safer#to avoid them being taken down as well#the best way to avoid all of this hassle would be if a certain company just made it easier for intl fans and lifted the region blocks#but oh well................#links

Reasons ꙳ ੭ * ‧
synopsis: though he’s afraid to admit it, chan has an undeniably huge crush on you. in attempt to get his point somewhat across, he drops a few hints leading all the way up until the Valentine’s Day office party, but will that mean he finally confesses his true feelings?
genre: bang chan x fem!reader | coworkers to lovers wc: 3.1k tags/warnings: fluff, office romance, mild cursing, mentions of alcohol usage, kissing, reader is kinda obsessed w/ chan’s body but who tf isn’t ??
now playing 🎧: dream girl by crisaunt
[this is the first installment of my new valentine’s series where i write a short story for each member surrounding the themes of love, newfound romance, relationship hardships & more.]
If there’s one thing Chan could never refuse to resist no matter how hard he tries, it’s you — nothing else came near as close. You were his Kryptonite, Achille’s heel, whatever you want to call it. Chan was willing to do just about anything for you, ask him to jump and he’ll promptly answer “how high?” You had him wrapped around your little finger with a pristine, glittery bow. Some could say it was quite uncanny how he’d avidly jump at your every need and request. Whether it be from a small but adoring comment about the way you looked in your outfits or whenever he sees you struggling with something, he drops any amount of work he was doing to go help you instead. There’s no way he was doing all this just out of the kindness of his heart, everyone saw right through those tactics. Clearly there was an underlying ulterior motive in the back of his mind, and most people with a brain knew of this as fact not fiction.
Everyone that is, except you.
The minute someone brings Chan’s name up you get super defensive. You often feel the need to because of how almost every person in the office ships you two together. One of the main instigators— Mirae, your cubicle neighbor and karaoke buddy, had a habit of doing this constantly. She’s the first ever friend you made here and is a total ray of sunshine to work with, but also has the biggest mouth. She’d go around telling people that Chan has a crush on you all because he does so many selfless gestures to “impress” you. Once that got around , rumors began spreading like wildfire and suddenly it turned into you and Chan were dating.
As soon as you heard all of that you immediately shut the suspicions down, explaining that you two were simply just friends and how he’s a sweet, gentle soul. Which he most certainly is but his friendliness didn’t only stop at you, it extended to all the other employees as well. He’s the type of person who would make sure everyone else has food and a warm shelter before worrying about himself in the freezing cold. There aren’t many out there with a noble personality like Chan’s, he’s like an elderly man trapped in a young person’s body, always giving the most wise and stark advice. His way of thinking may be a little old fashioned but that didn’t make him boring by any means, he was quite fun when he wasn’t so immersed in his work.
You’ve tried to get him to let loose a bit more, even invited him out for drinks after work with your other coworkers but he declined each time. It never felt like rejection to you though, he’d be smiling the whole time he’s saying “no” but it didn’t seem disingenuous. The only reason he never took up any of your offers were either one of 3 things:
A). He’s far too nervous to get drinks with you
B). He’s too buried in his work
C). The gym is his second home
You and Chan are two vastly different people. He’s definitely the more laidback type who likes to stay at home while you love to going out and enjoy a fun night on the town with friends. Despite him knowing this, he’s never been one to judge your choices or care about what you decide to do outside of work. He even brings you hangover medicine when you come back on Monday looking like you’ve had way too many last weekend — a literal angel in human form. You wonder who the lucky lady will be that gets to marry him someday, it’s evident he’ll be a family man and would most certainly be the best dad any child could ask for. He truly possessed every lovely quality there is all in one person, a rarity that’s more hard to come by each passing day. You don’t know what you could’ve done in your past life to deserve to know someone like Chan, but you don’t regret it one bit.
This morning went like any other typical morning, you’d come to work slightly exhausted from being out later than expected. Usually, Chan would go up to your cubicle and flash a doting smile at you as he places a fresh cup of coffee on your desk. It’s always the little things that made you most content, a handsome guy delivering you your favorite cappuccino — sounds like the ideal life. However, things were slightly different on this particular morning.
Awaiting you at your desk was a large bouquet of flowers displayed in a decorative ceramic vase, accompanied by your warm beverage. You also notice something peeking out from the petals, a small white envelope without a name on it. Curiosity gets the best of you, rushing to open it and read what follows:
‘happy Valentine’s Day ___, these flowers will never be as gorgeous as you but I hope they bring you joy or at least make you half as happy as you make me everyday that I’m with you.
- CB.’
Well, you definitely weren’t expecting that note to be so… sweet ? Though it was a bit short, the message was clear, whoever wrote that really wants you to know exactly how they feel. You had to admit, reading that did make your heart skip a little— maybe even had you blushing and twirling a couple strands of hair. What caught you most off guard were the initials, ‘CB’, those letters seemed awfully familiar. Then you realize there’s only one person whose initials you personally knew that could match those; your coworker Chan. Your throat goes dry as you nervously attempt to swallow, unable to form any stable or coherent thoughts. Nothing, and you mean absolutely nothing, could’ve prepared you for this kind of revelation.
Scoping out the area to see if Chan was around, you couldn’t seem to find him anywhere. You consider the idea of texting him but ultimately you decide not to as you think it’d be weird to assume he even did this. They’re just similar initials that’s it, you’re probably reading too much into it. Maybe you really are going crazy or something.
“Oh my god, someone sent you those?!” A chirpy voice startles you, instantly recognizing it as Mirae who’s now behind you.
“Uh, yeah I guess so..” you acknowledge nonchalantly. Parting your lips just a tad as you take a sip of delicious espresso.
“Ah. I wonder who could’ve done it?” She fake pauses to take a gander at the possibilities, “It’s definitely not the guy with the Aussie accent and name rhymes with Pan!”
You almost spit out your drink. “Shut up!”
“Oh you know I’ll never do that sweetie.” She giggles at you being all flustered, “plus I’m right you just don’t wanna admit it.”
This is like an everyday conversation you have with her, it’s nothing new. “No, I’m a logical person and I know that me and Chan are just friends. That’s all we’ll ever be and nothing more!”
It’s exhausting having to keep defending yourself from the same rhetoric all your coworkers spew daily, and even more ridiculous how fast word gets out around here. Those rumors of you and Chan dating are still being told today, even after it’s been a good year and a half since it all started.
“Friends can also develop feelings for each other overtime y’know?” Mirae lazily rests her arm on your desk as she continues her speech, “I mean I’ve never fallen for a friend so I wouldn’t know.. but this is different! Do you not pay any attention at all to the way he treats you? He’s such a simp for you it drives me insane.”
Confused more than ever, you blankly stare back at her, “huh?” You just took every favor Chan has done as being a nice, thoughtful coworker.
“Okay I’ll give you an example, remember when everyone at lunch had that whole ‘Vernon is gay or bi debate’ and Chan agreed with every single thing you said even if it didn’t make sense? If that doesn’t scream simp behavior then I don’t know what does!”
Your doubt still doesn’t waver, “I just have a very compelling way of getting people to side with me!”
Mirae rolls her eyes so hard they could go to the back of her skull. “For the love of God ___, stop acting so dense at the obvious. It’s pretty much known in this entire office that Chan’s always been totally, 100% into you.”
“It is?” You blink rapidly.
“Yes! I can’t believe you’re even still shocked about this, the guy’s constantly making cartoon heart eyes whenever he sees you!” She states, voice laced with a dash of envy as she pouts, “I wish I had someone who looked at me like that.”
Her sadness is short lived when her face animates again, as if a light bulb just went off in her brain. “Wait I have the perfect idea, you should get him to ask you out at the Valentine’s party!”
“Um.. I don’t think he’ll go, he’s not a party kinda guy remember?” You sigh in reluctance, unsure of what to think at this point.
That doesn’t seem to bring Mirae’s mood down, she only reassures you with more positivity. “Trust me, he’ll be changing a completely different tune once he finds out you’re going.”
Work events are always somewhat a bit of a drag. You didn’t particularly care for them, but you do like socializing with most of your coworkers and other fellow staff on the team. The free alcohol is also another great selling point for you to go. Gina makes the best Jell-O shots and whenever there’s a work function going on she goes all out to prepare them. This time she made some strawberry daiquiri flavored ones, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and pink heart sprinkles to fit the theme.
You grabbed one immediately from the table, looking everywhere to see if you can spot Chan but still no luck. The fact this is making you slightly upset is beyond you, but you’ve never been one to fully understand your emotions. Maybe you were right after all for thinking he wouldn’t show up. Sometimes Mirae can try a bit too hard at getting your hopes up, but you had to figure out if he was the one who actually sent the flowers or not. ‘Who the fuck else could be CB?’ You thought, it had to be him, if not you’ll be blaming Mirae for years of mental damage and distress.
This job wasn’t the first thing you had in mind by any means, but it seemed like a friendly and open work environment when you came in for an interview. You ran into Chan that same day and he started talking to you in the lobby as you waited for your turn. He had the most illuminating, pearly white smile and his accent made the most mundane words sound a thousand times hotter. You secretly hoped you’d get this job just so you can talk to Chan all day. Fast forward to almost a year and a half later you’re now closer than ever and it feels like a privilege to work with someone as amazing as him.
As you finish your Jell-O shot, you try finding the nearest trash can but end up bumping into Gina. “Hey ___! Did you like the strawberry daiquiris I made?” She kindly surveys for feedback, flashing a cute puppy dog look at you.
“Duh, of course! I love everything you make Gigi, I might have to grab another one before they’re all gone!” You praise her kindly, “by the way have you seen Chan at all?” It was a bit a random of you to ask but you couldn’t just stand around and wait for him to magically show up.
Gina thinks for a moment and finally replies, “Nah I haven’t! Why’d you ask though?”
“Oh no reason really! Was just wondering I guess-” you awkwardly shrug off, taking a step back as you walk out the break room to go into the main hallway. Heading over to the water dispenser you grab a small paper cup and bring it under the cold water option, before pressing the button a deep voice causes you to freeze in place. Recognizing that raspy voice from anywhere, it was Chan calling out after you.
“Hey, ___!” You hear him shout from a distance, jogging towards you with an ambiguous look on his face. “Could I talk to you for a moment?” He asks once he gets closer, chest slowly rising up through his white collared shirt as he’s catching his breath.
You never really took note how chiseled his body looked, maybe it was the form-fitting material of the shirt but the outline of his pecs went perfectly in sync with the way his toned arms clung to the fabric. It was clear as day Chan takes working out very seriously, mesmerized by the sheer dedication it must’ve took to even achieve a dreamlike physique such as this. Realizing you still haven’t answered yet and have just been staring at this man’s chest for what seemed like centuries, you finally croak out a response.
“Uh, yeah- sure!”
He clears his throat in preparation, “There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.. for a while now actually.”
Chan doesn’t seem like his usual keen self, he’s acting much more quiet and reserved, as if he’s got loads of worries on his mind. It makes you wonder…
Your heart began to race at a faster pace, not knowing what the outcome will be, you indulge in him anyway. “Hm? What is it? Don’t just leave me hanging, spill!”
Again he goes quiet, like there’s a force holding him back from saying what he truly wants. He’s usually a lot more confident and well spoken when he talks to you but this was a new side of Chan you haven’t seen before. You find it a bit endearing to be honest, it makes him more down to earth. What’s there not to like about him truthfully?
“Well uh.. you see I-”
“___! Where the heck were you we’re about to take another sho-” Mirae catches you two of you off guard, unknowingly walking in what seemed like a deep conversation. “Ohh, oopsies did I interrupt something? I didn’t mean to, s-sorry!” You noticed some of her words slurring a bit and couldn’t contain a tiny giggle, it didn’t take much alcohol for her to get tipsy.
The minute she’s gone and the two of you are alone once again, the energy shifts dramatically. You gaze up at Chan to see his brows slanted into a train of thought. He wasn’t saying anything, just staring right back at you with a cryptic look. Unable to gauge the direction of this situation, you think of what to possibly say to make it less cumbersome. Before you could utter a single word, he finally speaks up.
“Let’s get outta here,” He quickly suggests, yanking your hand as he roughly takes it in his palm to lead the way. His movements are swift and eager, knowing exactly where he’s going as you’re left with even more questions and zero answers.
“Where’re we going?” You sheepishly inquire, bewildered by his sudden unpredictable action.
He doesn’t answer you. Instead he’s continuing the journey, remaining in focus all the way until he reaches the back entrance. Opening the door in a hurry to make it outside, a rush of cool air hits the back of your skin from a tiny bit of flesh being exposed. Chan brings his hands up to your arms, pinning them to your sides as he pushes you back against the brick wall of the building. His hooded eyes were fixated on you like an animal looking at its prey. It almost felt intimidating, as if he was the whole universe and you were but a mere spectacle compared to him.
“Wait what’re you do-” you’re impatiently cut off as he leans in, pupils widening when you’re abruptly met with a pair of lips pressed against your own. You couldn’t move even if you wanted to, rendered still from the shock of this suddenly happening. An array of goosebumps scatter your suspended body, words can’t describe the way you feel in this moment— it’s pure bliss.
Eventually you do kiss him back once the shock wears off, parting your lips more to let him gain further access into your world. It was the most mind numbingly passionate, messy kiss you’ve ever experienced in a lifetime, wanting but Chan’s lips on yours forever and ever.
As you both pull away it’s quiet again, but not in an unpleasant manner as before. Now you’re silent because you’re admiring each other. Resisting the urge to grab his face and kiss him again, you watch intently at him biting on his bottom lip, giving you a sheer look of adoration and hunger. Your mind was in the highest state of euphoria, feeling like you’re on cloud nine. That kiss left you speechless, breathless, weightless, and all other adjectives in between.
“I can sit here and list off every reason why I’m in love with you, but I thought about it and figured this should be good enough to get my point across.” Chan suddenly expresses his true feelings while holding your hand tightly in his grasp. It feels like he can breathe again, as if a heavy weights been lifted off his broad shoulders. “Did you like the flowers I sent?”
You owe Mirae a huge apology the next time you see her.
“So it was you?!” A gasp escapes your lips, finally comprehending the fact that he’s genuinely liked you for this long. It still felt surreal to you that you even kissed.
“You didn’t realize it right away? I mean my initials were right there..” he nervously spoke once more. The effect you have on him is so dangerously good.
It’s hard to believe you were so oblivious to how Chan felt when it was all hidden in plain sight. You should’ve known something was up when he started learning how to cook the first week you met. During lunch you expressed that men who could cook were the ideal type of husband and since then he’s been on a mission to perfect his cooking and make you a proud wife someday.
Moral of the story? Life works in mysterious ways when finding your soulmate. The external forces come together to align themselves perfectly in harmony, bringing two beautiful souls to connect as one.
[End <3].

“That’s not it,” said Alya, but when Marinette looked up with a lifted brow, she did not elaborate. “There’s gotta be some inside scoop you can give me on supermodel Adrien Agreste, off the record.”
“Why don’t you just call him and ask for something?” Marinette said, finally handing her the phone back.
“He’d just say something lame like his Super Penguino username being some old anime cat reference. Again.”
you guys should totally read my BB fic

Natsu Harem: Fairy GET! 12/14
Just a few more... (人◕ω◕) Tomorrow might be special. We'll see.
Today's spotlight goes to Mirajane Strauss~... \(人◕ω◕)/ I probably could have saved her second for last, but... Eh. I'm flexible with these last four. (人◕ω◕)
When did they meet?
Mira is... definitely one of the oldest acquaintances of Natsu. After he arrived in X777, I mean. (人◕ω◕) About a year after he arrived in Fairy Tail, the Strauss Siblings were brought in. Although to be honest, Mira-chan was... rather different in the beginning. (人◕ω◕);;; It mostly has to do with the fact that she was reviled for her Takeover Magic until Makarov found her; though in those early days before Fairy Tail, Mira kept her head down because she needed to supply for her siblings, Lisanna and Elfman.
... When they had a new, stable home in Fairy Tail, Mira was allowed to be more, uh... free-spirited, shall we say? (人◕ω◕);;;;;;; She had a ton of aggression to work out of her system from so many people giving her crap... And, well. Mira-chan was strong as heck. Who wouldn't be proud of being a prodigy? She takes demon power and uses it as her own. (人◕ω◕);;; Of course, this led Mira-chan to be rather spunky, and butt heads with Erza who was so uptight all the time.
Mira was something of a bully to Natsu when they were kids. (人◕ω◕);; He was always picking fights, and Mira-chan was always willing to bring it. ... And she also had a fondness for making Natsu cry, which Lisanna and Erza both lectured her about... Though Erza was more firm about making Mira face consequences. (人◕ω◕)
Regardless of the friction between Erza and Mira, though... Natsu got along well enough with Lisanna and Elfman. And it seems like the main reason for Mira's aggro behavior was that Natsu (and Gray) were in Erza's camp. They... didn't have much of a choice in the matter. (人◕ω◕)
I did want to bring up a detail I haven't touched on yet, apparently. Seems a bit silly... But since we're changing things left and right in this series, we'll talk about Natsu's rank. (人◕ω◕) In this series, Erza took more of a shining to Natsu from the get-go, and worked more in-depth with him to become strong together in their early years. I bring this up because it shakes up who became S-Class at what times; Erza held off on the S-Class trials in X780 because she wanted to advance with Natsu. So Mira went for the trials instead, and became S-Class in X780. Then Mystogan became S-Class in X781. And in X782, Erza and Natsu became S-Class together. Effectively blackmailing Makarov to do it, but hey. They weren't gonna take no for an answer. (人◕ω◕) In X783, Gray became S-Class.
This is important, because around X782, Lisanna "died". In this series, this happened shortly before the trials of that year... So Mira was the one lording her status over Erza's gang when she took Elfman and Lisanna on that fateful mission. (人◕ω◕) Understandably, Natsu and the others could tell Mira and Elfman were deeply impacted by the event... Erza was cautious in provoking Mira too much, not wanting to kick her rival while she was down. And Mira, well... She became an empty husk of her former, scrappy self. :/
When did they grow closer?
Despite Erza's warnings to leave Mira be, let her mourn... Natsu was never a good listener. Not when his friends are hurting. Elfman might give him the cold shoulder for prying too much, but he can see Mira's just... shutdown. She doesn't lash out at him for hanging around their home so much, waiting for her to come out... After a few days of brooding in her room, and knowing Natsu was waiting right outside... Mira eventually comes out, hugging the stuffing out of him and crying her heart out. Natsu hugs it out with Mira, and they resonate over the pain of losing Lisanna. He won't rush Mira to come back to the guild and get back into the swing of things; this was a huge loss, and Natsu wants to give Mira all the time she needs.
After a few weeks of Natsu coming in to check on her at home (on top of Makarov's check-ins), Mira eventually returns to the guild... Though she's not in the mood for jobs. She takes up a job as the bartender and chef, and she winds up talking with Natsu, Erza, Gray, Cana, and Elfman the most in-between quests. It takes some time for Elfman to regain his former energy, but he eventually does. And before long, Natsu and Erza are S-Class like Mira.
... This development does make Mira feel... conflicted. An S-Class quest is what robbed them of Lisanna. She's not so eager to let Natsu wade into danger, even if he did earn the rank... Mira ends up exchanging harsh words with Erza over it, and Erza promises things will be okay. It's not Mira's duty to coddle the Dragon Slayer; if Mira hadn't been so arrogant before, she could have seen Natsu was getting a lot stronger the past couple years. ... But Mira can't quite get over her anxieties.
After a few S-Class quests, and Natsu makes it back and happily tells Mira about the adventures... The Dragon Slayer can tell Mira's still worried sick. So he decides to show her the "grave" he erected for Lisanna, where they used to play. Natsu promises to never, ever forget about Lisanna, and one reason he wants to keep getting strong is so that he can protect Mira, Elfman, and everyone in the guild, so that they never experience a tragedy like that again. It's not just about finding Igneel anymore... though he's still determined to find his dad someday.
Mira's touched by Natsu's passion and heart, and they settle into a routine of Natsu going on jobs with Erza and Gray, and then coming back to chill with Mira and catch up with her. Mira does wish that she had the courage to go out on jobs herself, that she hadn't lost her magic... But it is what it is.
Before long, a couple years pass. Lucy joins the guild, and Team Natsu. There's still a strong bond between Natsu and Mira... And things change again when Mira's able to use her magic again, when Freed incites her enough during the Battle of Fairy Tail. She doesn't quite go back to full-duty with quests, Mira's come to accept Makarov does need the help managing the guild... But sometimes she'll go out on a quest or two. Sometimes she drags Natsu along. (人◕ω◕) Much to Erza's frustrations. They renew their rivalry somewhat... Though Mira's done bullying Natsu. They've been through too much to go back to that dynamic. ... Doesn't stop her from teasing him, though. Very flirtatiously. Stuff that goes over his head, but not Lucy's. ... Or Erza. Especially not Erza. (人◕ω◕);;;
Eventually, Lisanna is returned to them after Edolas arc... And while Mira's overjoyed, and the Strauss Siblings spend a lot of time together after that reunion... Mira doesn't forget her bond with Natsu. If anything, she's even more drawn to him. Cuz he gave her hope to carry on when they thought Lisanna was gone forever... And now Lisanna's back. (人◕ω◕) Yes, Mira-chan is quite... clingy with Natsu. ... Perhaps a little too much.
When did friendship turn to something more?
Honestly? Mira is one of the earliest ones to develop feelings for Natsu. (人◕ω◕) He's just done so much to protect and support her and her family. She does get into it a bit with Erza... But frankly, Erza's hesitancy because of her past with Jellal, it gives Mira the courage to press forward with Natsu. ... Cuz Erza's conflicted. (人◕ω◕) Of course Erza gets pissed. Jealous. But for a while, Erza just doesn't know if she should pursue Natsu. She thinks Jellal needs someone... And well, Mira's not gonna whine about it. If Erza wants to keep putting her foot in her mouth and make Natsu miserable over the whole Jellal business... Mira will be there for Natsu. She has absolutely no problems with that. (人◕ω◕)(人◕ω◕)(人◕ω◕)
But... the thing about Mira being one of the first to fall for Natsu means that she must watch her loveable Pyro win over many hearts. Without even realizing. He already has her and Lisanna (... And conflicted Erza). Over time, he also wins over Juvia, Cana, Wendy... and then the other ladies just keep waltzing riiight in... Kagura. Yukino. Meredy. Ultear. Sayla. Chelia. Brandish. Mira might have a private "no touchy" policy when it comes to other women and her Pyro, but she's not about to shoot down Lisanna's chances... Or, grudgingly, anyone else's. (人◕ω◕)***
That one-year trip together after Fairy Tail "disbanded" was lovely. She and Lisanna got very intimate with Natsu during that time~... Even happily discovered why Erza liked taking baths with the Dragon Slayer. (人◕ω◕) ... That said, she could've done without Sayla popping in... (人◕ω◕)*** Mira would have vastly preferred that. After finding out that she and Sayla are perfect foils of another in their powers, that demon is maddening to have around... Especially when she plays with Natsu and Lisanna via Macro. (人◕ω◕)*** Mira has words. ... But Natsu approves of having her around, so Mira can't really do much else besides give her... blessing... (人◕ω◕)*********
Doesn't get much better when Sayla's reborn as a human, after Alvarez. Sayla still ends up retaining her Macro powers... though it's not a curse now, so it's arguably less potent. ... Doesn't stop Sayla from being a thorn in Mira's side. (人◕ω◕) Honestly, the ones that get Mira's goat the most are Sayla... Cana... Ultear... Sorano... And Erza. (人◕ω◕) Brandish is a brat, but she doesn't bother picking fights unless they're in her way of getting Natsu. Kagura would be more aggro, considering her ties to Erza... But Kagura-chan's respectful. Mira will give her that. (人◕ω◕) Cana's always done what she wants... And Ultear seems to make it her life's mission to get in Mira and Erza's nirvana. (人◕ω◕)
Natsu for his part has a deep love for Mira, too. It's one of those things that just "happened", but it's also one of those things where it was a long time in coming. (人◕ω◕) Mira's beautiful, strong, and makes lots of yummy food... She's pushy, though. The "bully" within her gave way to a controlling mama-like figure. He'll often comply with Mira's demands out of impulse, but when it's between following Mira or Erza's orders... Well, he's boned. (人◕ω◕) All he can do is try to reconcile them. ... Or more often, just let the "adults" do the talking and sort out what he'll be doing for the foreseeable future.
... And if Natsu is whisked away by someone else while Mira and Erza are... negotiating, that isn't on him. Nope, no sir. (人◕ω◕)
Whereas Ultear's one of the first to crave and want kids from Natsu, Mira on the other hand is among the first to propose to him. (人◕ω◕) Mira-chan knows what she wants. And she's veeery determined to get what she wants. No regrets~...

Today I was free form work and I decided to just chill, especially now that I had that stupid dream. Is it wrong that I just want to sleep and hope I find out?
Han appears in my room. 'What do you want?' I say, clearly irritated. 'To say I'm sorry.' he says and sits down on my bed. 'It's fine, but you do this all the time. your one of my closest friends, please keep these sort of things between us.' I say. He nods. 'I'm sorry, I think I just wanted to help you.' He says. I laugh. 'How would they know what I dreamed?' I say and he shrugs which made me roll my eyes.
'But I searched on the internet for you, I found 2 things.' He begins. '1. you have undercropped feelings for this mysterious person. and as last I know how we can find out who this person is.' He says. I look at him, surprised of his findings.
'That's sweet. But I don't know if I even want that, especially how I know I maybe got feelings for this person.' I say. His eyes get in shock.
'You don't want to know, why? Don't you want some "Spice" in your life?' He says and I laugh. 'I just don't want to screw things up because of a fling.' I say. 'It's one of us huh? is it me?' he says. I get off my bed. 'No. on both sides.' I say.
'Oh my god, it's one of us. Now I already want to know, don't you too?' He says. 'I don't know, It's been a long time since I liked someone and the last time also didn't end well, And I don't even know If I can like someone ever again, I just don't have that feeling anymore you know' I say.
'Mirae, you need to stop being scared of love. it's wonderful. I mean it can be so beautiful, it can be scary yes, but sometimes you gotta take the risk and-'
'Chan. It was Chan.' I spill.
I get in shock of my own words and put my hands over my mouth, Han stands up. 'What?' he says, I can see alot of questions forming in his head. 'Nothing.' I murmur. he comes to me. 'yes, you said it was Chan you dreamed about, what's happening since-' I stop him.
'it's probably cause he said that stupid thing, what that even mean?' I say and put my skincare on. 'What thing?'
Han doesn't get his answer because Hyunjin came into my room asking if we needed anything from the supermarket.
Then after that I quickly changed the subject and ran to the living room. Han wanted to start again but, thank god, Changbin said they were going to record together. I'm glad Han has a distraction now, but I'm so scared he's going to say something.
In the mean time I was alone in the living room, what has been a long time so I decided to finally read the book I got from Hyunjin. To remind you, that was 7 months ago. I'm a busy bee.
He got me a book of the art exhibition he visited in France I was supposed to go with him, But I needed to work...
The book is beautiful, it has so much work in it, so many art pieces and history about them. I was almost done with it, when Han, Changbin and Chan come back from recording. I was scared at first because I thought Han was going to yap about that stupid dream again. But he didn't get a chance. We went straight to eat dinner and the dream didn't come up.
When I got in bed I thought about last night again. What the fuck was the context of that sentence? was it a joke, ARGH, I can get crazy about this.

M. Fushiguro || Girlfriend VS. Best friend! Now Fight!!
Pairing: Megumi Fushiguro x Jujustu Sorcerer Fem! (Reader)
Warning: This isn’t spicy, angst kinda, language warning, it’s gonna probably get more sexual next part but either way characters are all aged up and in college, everyone is over 18
Ever since you were a child, you had been best friends with Megumi Fushiguro, and lately things had been off. You two did everything together; from killing curses and protecting the human population of Japan, to watching tv and having late night talks about life in your dorm. You were basically inseparable, but these past few weeks things had been different. Ever since Megumi went and got a girlfriend, things had definitely changed between the both of you.
You two had met when you had your fourth birthday party where Gojo (who was best friends with your dad) brought little Megumi as his plus one. It was like ever since that one fateful day, you two had been attached at the hip. Even the day you met, Megumi ended up sleeping over since Gojo got absolutely wasted with your parents and passed out in your living room.
You shared everything with one another; your feelings, food, drinks, your crazy ideas for the future, your training time, and even your clothes. There were virtually no secrets between you two, well except how you truly felt about one another. And it was safe to say, that wasn't going to be a secret for very much longer.
"Nooooo, please Y/N-chan let's watch it. I promise I'll watch Howl's with you if you watch Spirited Away with me." Yuuji pleaded, leaning for the remote on your right side and making puppy dog eyes at you so you would give in to his request. You raised the remote out of his reach, smirking at the way he was playfully pouting at you on the other side of your bed.
“You’re really going to sit through Howls with me?” You questioned, seconds away from accepting his offer, when your gaze shifted to your dorm door that suddenly burst open.
Your eyes met the dark blue gaze of your best friend under your red LED lights, raising a brow at the way he dramatically walked into the room.
"Well, hello to you too Megs."
"There you are, I've been looking for both of you for the past 20 minutes. Itadori-kun, Gojo-sensei wanted to talk to you about something. He's on the first floor looking for you," Megumi announced, ignoring your comment.
Yuuji turned to you and pointed in determination as he shimmied out of your bed.
"Rain check on Movie night?" He asked, and you rolled your eyes and nodded.
"Fineeeee, but you're buying the snacks then." You agreed, and Yuuji smiled back at you and offered his hand for you to shake.
"Deal. Movie night snacks are on me." You shook his hand in agreement and turned your attention back to Megumi who was standing at the foot of your bed waiting for Yuuji to get out of his designated spot. You sat up, reaching for the phone on your nightstand as Megumi made himself at home on your bed and Yuuji went to find Gojo.
"What's up Megs?" You asked, seeing that something was clearly bothering your brooding best friend. You were ready to listen to whatever rant he was about to make you endure, while you sorted through the messages that you had to reply to.
“I hate that women are so complicated,” He answered, leaning his head on your left shoulder while you resisted the urge to cuddle into him. He absent minded grabbed your right hand and started interlocking your fingers, tracing circles with his thumb into the back of your hand.
“Men aren’t any better if those are the other horizons you were looking towards,” You joked, putting on Netflix and handing him the remote so he could pick what you were going to watch. You had developed a sort of wordless routine around one another when you were alone, you were the only person Megumi went to for physical affection since he was a kid so he took every chance you had together to touch you in some way.
"I had a fight with Mira-san, and I don't know what to do." He revealed and you fought the urge to roll your eyes. You had a feeling that it had been his girlfriend bothering him, but as a supportive best friend you tried not to assume.
"Oh really, what happened?" You asked disinterestedly while you checked who had messaged you.
You replied to Yuta-senpai, who had asked you how you were and told him you couldn't wait for him to come back and visit you. You also had some texts from the group chat with Nobara and Maki, asking you if you were still on for shopping tomorrow and as you were about to send her back the confirmation you felt a hand on your thigh.
Instantly your gaze shot up to Megumi, feeling like the skin underneath his hand was growing hotter. He was gazing at you with one of his rare determined expressions.
"What's wrong?" You asked, trying to suppress the shivers that were running down your spine at the contact. You were used to Megumi touching you out of nowhere to get your attention, but the way his eyes were boring into yours was different this time.
"I have to ask you something and I need you to be completely honest with me." He let out, and you nodded.
"Yeah, of course. What's going on Megs? You know I'll answer whatever you want to know."
"Do you think that our relationship isn't completely friendly?" He questioned, and you could feel your heart racing in your chest. His hand was still firmly on your thigh and the combination of his hand, and piercing gaze was starting to get to you. You felt your stomach tighten, nerves building as you searched for a non suspicious way to answer his question.
"What do you mean completely friendly? I've known you since we were literally 4 years old Megumi, I think you're basically considered family at this point. You're like my parent's unofficial adopted child." You responded, trying to play off the slight raise in octave in your voice as you tried to convince him and yourself that you were almost insulted at the question.
“So you’ve never felt anything romantic towards me then?” He outright asked you, making your eyes go wide. You glanced down at his hand on your thigh, it was absolutely still and you couldn’t stop the racing of your heart in your chest.
“Why are you asking me that all of a sudden? What type of fight did you have with Mira-San?” You questioned back, shooting up from your bed and turning away from Megumi so he couldn’t see your blush. You pretended to be interested in a sheet of paper that was on your desk, trying to suppress the heat that was traveling up your neck to your cheeks.
“It’s just that we fought about, well you and me actually. Mira-san thinks that we have feelings for each other and no matter how many times I tell her that you’re just my best friend, every fight we have always seems to circle back to us.” Megumi answered, and you turned to look at him in shock.
You couldn’t believe she had actually noticed your feelings for the brunette sorcerer, you had been so accustomed to hiding how you felt from everyone that it was one of the first times you truly felt caught. You had your words stuck in your throat, your brain was working overtime to try and find a way out of this conversation but there was nothing you could come up with.
“You mean you’ve fought with her multiple times about this?” You said, and he nodded.
“Is that why you haven’t been coming over as often? Because your girlfriend thinks I’m in love with you?” You continued, feeling your stomach tighten once more.
“She doesn’t just think you’re in love with me, she's convinced that I’m also in love with you. Can you believe it? I keep telling her she’s crazy, but lately everytime I tell her I’m going to hang out with you she tries to keep me longer and then it just gets too late to come over.” He explained and you knew you shouldn’t but you felt anger beginning to build.
“So you mean to tell me, that your girlfriend who is constantly around me and has never mentioned anything about this, is trying to get you to stop hanging out with me because she thinks I like you?” You asked for clarification and Megumi’s eyes went wide. He quickly stood and grabbed your shoulders, rubbing his thumbs on your arms. It was something he frequently did when he was trying to calm you down.
“No, she’s not trying to get us to stop hanging out. She’s just worried that you may have hidden intentions towards me. She really likes you, she just has the wrong idea.” He denied and that’s when you felt your blood begin to boil.
“Megumi, please don’t try and lie about what she’s doing. If you think that’s the case then you know what? Maybe we shouldn’t hang out at all. I mean I would hate to damage your relationship with some girl you’ve known for the past 5 months.” You snapped suddenly, not missing the way hurt flashed in Megumi’s eyes as you pushed his hands off you and walked towards the door.
“Wait Y/-,” Megumi began to protest, but you interrupted him.
You grabbed the door, pulled it open and stared at Megumi.
“Get out,” You ordered, gaze hardening so that the tears that were beginning to build wouldn’t fall.
“Are you serious right now?” He questioned, still not walking towards the door.
“Abso-fucking-lutely. Get the fuck out of my room Fushiguro.” You answered and he finally began to walk towards you and the door.
“Fine. I’ll talk to you later then,”
“Good luck with that.” You bid your farewell, slamming the door behind him and resting behind it. All the tears you had been suppressing were free falling now, you used one hand to cover your mouth while you thought about what had just happened.
You just lost your best friend.
3 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑....
It had been months since your fight with Megumi, and true to your word you didn’t talk to him.
You avoided him at every opportunity. Leaving any room that he was in alone with you, shooting down every attempt at a conversation and staying as far as physically possible from him when you were all hanging out in the common rooms.
It was getting to the point where you had borderline replaced him with anyone that was available, and you were starting to suffer because of it.
“So, not that I don’t love having cute dates with my students but shouldn’t you be here with Megumi-Chan?” Gojo questioned as he reached over and grabbed some fries from your tray while you glared at your phone.
You were watching his girlfriend’s Instagram story, frowning at the image of annoyed looking Megumi covering his face as they had a picnic.
“Shut up and eat. You owe me for breaking my finger during training, I’m not exactly overjoyed to be with you either. If Yuuji didn’t have remedial classes he would be here right now,” You demanded, looking up at your white haired teacher who was grinning at you.
“Oh come on, you know you love me,” he teased and you rolled your eyes.
“Actually considering you’ve been annoying me since birth, I kinda hate you,” You deadpanned and he laughed,
“Well if you hate me so much then why was I your first choice?” He batted his eyelashes at you, making you snort.
“Because as much as I hate you, you’re rich,” you answered, grinning as you reached for his milkshake and stole a sip.
“Gold digger,” he playfully gasped and you rolled your eyes. You were about to reply when you heard someone clear their throat beside you.
You looked up and saw Megumi and his beaming girlfriend who was standing beside him admiring Gojo. You felt dread fill your being as he looked at you and Gojo with annoyance.
“Wow you two! Crazy seeing you here,” Gojo greeted, sneaking a glance at you and his playful gaze softened when he saw your expression.
“Yeah, crazy. Hi Gojo-san, Y/N-San, are you guys staying? Do you mind if we sit here?” Mira-san asked while she pulled up a chair to our table. You instantly got up as she settled down. Megumi instantly reached for your hand as you moved to walk away,
“Stay, come on. It’s been months.” He pleaded in a low whisper, and even though you felt like your stomach had a zoo going rampant inside of it you pulled your hand back. You regretted looking into his eyes, it was easier to get mad at Megumi for being influenced by a girl he just met, then acknowledge that he had an idea of how you felt and still chose her.
You pulled back your hand and turned to look at Mira, who was sitting smug in her chair.
“Sorry I realized I was late to something, you two can enjoy the table.”
“Well it was great seeing you, kid. We’re going to head out to that rooftop I mentioned earlier. Now you two, enjoy your youth. I’ll make sure Y/N does,” Gojo announced, standing and as gracefully as you’ve ever seen him, pushed in his chair and ran a hand through his hair.
He turned his head towards Megumi, walked over to you, flashing him an obnoxious smile and put his hand on the small of your back leading you out.
You wordlessly let Gojo lead you to the front register, where he thanked the waitress and you walked out. You were so engrossed in your thoughts that you didn’t realize you had absentmindedly grabbed Gojo’s hand, until you were about to cross a street and he pulled you back.
“Hey, Y/N-Chan. We drove here and the car is the other way, come on I’ll take you back to the dorms.” He explained and you looked up at him with an absentminded expression.
“How bad did it look?” You asked, knowing he would tell you brutally how bad it seemed.
“It was a complete trainwreck. Honestly it was like a k-drama but Megumi-Chan is still a little girl, he needs to grow into his protagonist role already.” He answered, trying to lighten the mood, and you let out a small chuckle.
“I can’t keep hanging out with him having movie nights if he knows how I feel. I don’t want to keep pretending anytime my eyes meet him when we’re dancing at some event that I don’t want to kiss him. For the first time in months I haven’t had to pretend.” You let out and he put his hand on your shoulder in sympathy. You couldn’t believe you had actually said it out loud, and much less to Gojo of all people. But it did kind of make sense.
“Come on kid, let’s go somewhere. You need to get some fresh air.” Gojo advised, pulling your hand towards the direction of the car and wordlessly leading you somewhere to get your mind off things.
You were getting in the passenger seat of the car when you were pulled back by the arm, you turned to see an out of breath Megumi that was holding his chest. He was glaring at Gojo, and there was the brief moment of hope where you thought you saw hints of jealousy in his glare. You glanced at him confused and ripped your arm out of his hold.
“Listen, I know you may not want to hear this from me right now but I fucking hate this. I don’t want to be fighting anymore and I don’t want one stupid argument to throw all of this away. It was stupid to question our friendship and I know that now but you’re the one throwing away 14 years of friendship for a girl I met 5 months ago, not me.” He said and he reached out to grab your hand. You looked at him for a moment, and felt all the feelings that you had been holding back for the past 6 months bubble to the surface.
“Megumi, I’m not the one wh-,” You began to explain and he interrupted you by grabbing your face.
You stopped mid sentence, Megumi leaned into you and closed his eyes before placing his lips on yours. You stopped breathing for a moment, closing your eyes out of instinct and grabbing onto his shirt.
Megumi was kissing you. You were kissing Megumi. Megumi and you were kissing in the middle of the sidewalk.
“Wow how does that song go? I don’t like your girlfriend, I think you need a new one.” Gojo joked and you pulled apart.
What the fuck.

Chapter 23: Home
[prev]
[masterlist]
——————————————————————————
After 5 long years, your family finally moves to a new house. It’s bigger than the house Kiyoomi first lived in. Since you have kids now, so more rooms must be added. You don’t even know how your husband managed to find such a big house that is close to the city.
Kia is beyond excited to have her own room after 3 long years of sharing it with her younger siblings “Wow! My room is so big!” Kia says in awe, her eyes wandering her new room. She climbs up the bed and jumps on it, letting out a series of laughter every time the sole of feet recognize the springy feeling. “I love my bed! It’s big and it’s all mine!”
“Kia, be careful or you’ll fall,” Kiyoomi warns her. Done checking with Kia, he follows Mina and your family dog, Momo, inside her new room. “Do you like it?”
“Where’s Momo’s bed?” Mina asks as she looks around the room for the said thing. The Shiba Inu follows behind her like a loyal servant.
“I thought you wanted Momo to sleep beside you?” Kia’s eyes turn wide in joy as she runs to her father. She raises her arms so Kiyoomi bends down and she gives him a kiss on the cheek.
“Momo, give papa a kiss too!” Mina cheers and the dog jumps on Kiyoomi. He catches him with his hands and stretches his arms away from his body.
“We’re not close enough to be kissing,” Kiyoomi tells Momo and puts him down. Momo resembles his cousin, Komori, so Kiyoomi feels awkward showing affection towards him.
Kiyoomi leaves Mina to discover her room, which is very kid-friendly since that’s what he specifically asked the interior designer of the house when it was being built. He then heads to where you and the twins are. From your posture and way of speaking, it seems like you’re having an argument with your youngest children.
“What’s wrong?” Kiyoomi asks you, casually putting a hand on your hip and pulling you close to him. He eyes Kin and sees the scowl on his son’s face. Kiyoomi sticks his tongue out, childishly mocking him.
“Stop that. He’s your son,” you scold your husband and he stops making fun of Kin. “Kin and Mira wants to sleep in their rooms.”
“Then, let them? Does it really matter?” Kiyoomi answers and the twins nod, agreeing to his words.
“We’re big now!” They tell you in unison.
“You’re three and you don’t want to sleep with mama anymore?” You sigh in disappointment.
“Are you scared on your own mama?” Kin frowns and you nod dramatically. Kiyoomi gags at your acting and you nudge his side with your elbow. “Do you want Kin to stay with you?”
“She has me,” Kiyoomi butts in and Kin gives him an unamused gaze.
“You’re not even home most of the time...” Kin rebuts with confidence. Kiyoomi grimaces at his son’s words and you just laugh. “Right, Mira?”
“Right!” Mira just agrees to whatever her twin brother says.
“Listen to the kids, Omi,” you whisper to him and he rolls his eyes. “Please set up the table in the garden. It’s almost dinner time.” You kiss your husband’s cheek and then you hear Kin chant that he wants kisses too. You fulfill your son’s wishes before skipping happily to your new kitchen.
The three of them set up the table just like you requested, while the two older girls help you in the kitchen. “I’m cooking the meat now,” Kiyoomi tells you as he takes out the meat from the freezer. You hum and continue cooking the other dishes.
“Go help your papa set up the table,” you order Kia and Mina. They wipe their hands clean before going out to help their father.
Kin and Mira keep running back and forth from the kitchen to the garden as they carry one plate at a time. Kia and Mina are arranging the table cloth and wiping the benches clean. Momo is helping by making sure that no bugs or birds are landing on the plates and being cute of course.
“Do you want meat?” Kiyoomi asks his kids. They don’t answer him as they are too preoccupied with other things.
Kia hears him and answers, “I’m not in the mood to eat meat papa.”
“Momo, do you want meat?” The dog barks at his question and points his forefingers at him. “You’re my favorite child for a reason.”
“Why is Momo your favorite child? You said you’re not even close enough to kiss!” Mina pouts and glares at her father.
“Mama said favoritism is bad!” Kia reprimands her father, her hands on her hips. “We are your children! You should love us equally!”
“Right! Love us equally!” Mira echoes her sister’s words, putting her hands on her hips as well.
“I thought I was your favorite!” Kin complains and Kiyoomi’s eyes dart at him.
“You don’t even like me!” Kiyoomi complains back and Kin raises his forefinger up as if he’s going to make such a great point.
“But mama said you specifically asked for me, which means I am your favorite,” Kin explains and just when Kiyoomi is about to make a retorting statement, Mira shouts.
“Papa! The meat is burning!”
“Shit!” Kiyoomi curses as he tries to weaken the fire. The garden falls dead silent as his kids stare at him in disbelief and shock. Their father could curse? “What?”
“You said a bad word!” Kia gasps dramatically.
“Said a bad word!” Mira mimics Kia’s dramatic gasp.
“No I didn’t!” Kiyoomi tries to argue, attempting to sound believable.
“Papa, stop lying. Even Momo heard it...” Mina says in disappointment. The barks as if he’s agreeing to Mina.
“Remember when I said I’ll buy you a trampoline when we move houses?” Kiyoomi tries to change the topic so he can escape his children’s interrogation.
“Shit!” Kin says loudly, and as if on cue, you go out to the garden and hear your three year old son cuss with all of his heart.
“Sakusa Kiyoomi! How many times do I have to warn you about not cussing in front of the kids?!” Kiyoomi face palms and glares at Kin. The younger boy just shrugs and runs to help you with the dishes you are carrying.
Before dinner starts, you want to take a picture of your family for keepsake. Sadly, that isn’t easy to do with four kids.
Mira and Kin are fighting over who gets to sit on your lap, leading to the twins crying. Kia is restless and hungry and just wants the picture to be taken but her siblings are acting up, which leads to her acting up as well. Mina is shy and hiding behind Momo. Kiyoomi is trying his best to make the twins to settle down so he attempts to take Kin away from you, but the boy just grabs his hair and tugs on it quite harshly.
In the photos taken, you have no good ones as expected. Kia is frowning at all the pictures. In one picture she’s rolling her eyes in irritation. Mina’s face can’t be seen since she’s hiding behind your family dog. Kin is still grabbing Kiyoomi’s hair and scratching his face, holding whatever is close to him. Mira is wailing on your lap and is screaming ‘papa’ since she wants to be with Kiyoomi now. Meanwhile, you and Kiyoomi look so tired and haggard in the photos. The only one who looks good in the photos is Momo. The dog is just sitting and smiling with his tongue out. So much for just one family picture.
Dinner finally starts after that chaotic pictorial and you say your thanks before eating. Kiyoomi cuts the burnt steak he cooked into smaller pieces and attempts to give it to Kin. His son rejects it so Kiyoomi sighs and takes the meat out of his bowl.
“I’ll eat it!” Kia volunteers and lifts her bowl so Kiyoomi can put the meat in it.
“I thought you were not in the mood for meat?” Kiyoomi raises an eyebrow at her but gives her the beef anyways.
“I changed my mind,” Kia reasons.
No, she didn’t. Kia hasn’t changed her mind. She really doesn’t want to eat the steak but when she saw Kiyoomi’s sad expression because of Kin’s rejection, she felt bad for him. She can’t scold Kin about rejecting food yet since he’s young, but she has to show him that the food their parents are providing them is special
“It’s good papa,” Kia compliments her father. Kiyoomi smiles at her and he continues to cook meat. She eats what he gives her without complains. Seeing his sister eat with gusto, Kin asks for meat and eats it.
“Me too!” Mira gives her bowl to Kiyoomi which he gladly puts the sliced beef in. She happily eats it and even feeds her twin brother with it.
Kia watches her father’s face light up in satisfaction which makes her feel blissful.
——————————————————————————
It’s 12AM and Kiyoomi feels a small hand tugging on his finger. He wakes up from the touch, and sees his son with an almost crying face. “Hi, buddy. Why are you up?”
“Want to sleep with you,” Kin answers, pulling his little blanket close to his chest. Kiyoomi’s heart softens. Kin may act like he hates his father, but deep down he wants his attention and affection too.
Seeing his son’s scared image, he jumps out of bed and picks him up. If Kin is scared, so must be Mira.“Okay. Let’s go get your sister first.” He walks to Mira’s room as quiet as possible so he doesn’t wake you or any of his daughters up.
Kiyoomi sees Mira’s door open so he quickly checks the room and doesn’t see her there. He hears murmurs from Kia’s room and also notices how Mina’s room is empty.
“Don’t be scared. Nee-chan is here!” Kiyoomi overhears Kia speak. He peeks at the small opening at the doorway and sights Kia putting Mina and Mira to bed. “Do you want me to tell you a story?”
“Yes...” Mira answers, shifting closer to Mina so they can cuddle. Momo is sleeping at the end of the bed, unbothered.
“We are going to have a new baby sister!” Kia confidently announces.
‘That’s not a story! That’s a gossip!’ Kiyoomi chuckles and then enters the room, which surprises his three daughters. “What are the three of you talking about that is keeping you awake at this?”
“Papa! Tell us a story!” Kia tries to hide their recent conversation, but her expression is giving it away. She looks like a deer that has been seen in the middle of the road. “Mina and Mira were scared so they went in my room to sleep.”
‘They’re still sleeping together in one room after all.’
“Okay. I’ll tell you a story. What kind of story do you want?” Kiyoomi gives in and sits on Kia’s bed. He puts Kin down on the bed and he snuggles close to his twin sister immediately.
“About you and mama!” Kia giggles as she joins in her other siblings.
“Again?” Kiyoomi raises an eyebrow at her. Kia loves hearing stories about the two of you. It puts her at ease.
Kiyoomi starts to share a random story about you and him during high school. Your first time meeting his family exactly. And midway, he hears his children snoring soundly so he stops speaking. He then notices Kia looking out her window.
“Go to sleep...” He tells her.
“Papa, I am so happy you’re my father,” Kia says out of nowhere, taking Kiyoomi aback. “I don’t think I would be this happy if you weren’t.”
“I’m happy you’re my daughter, too.” Kiyoomi kisses the top of her head and then smiles at her.
Kiyoomi is thankful.
Kiyoomi is very thankful that she is his daughter. If he didn’t meet Kia 5 years ago, he wouldn’t know where or who he’d be now. Having children changed him and probably made him a better person. He still can’t go on a crowd on his own, but if he’s with his kids, everything possible for him. Kiyoomi is willing to go out of his comfort zone if it means his children’s happiness.
Kiyoomi thankful that you gave him a chance to prove that he can be Kia’s father. Not just Kia, but also Mina, Mira and Kin. He knows how stressed you are with having to take care of 4 kids and him not being around most of the time, but you still stayed. You never gave up on motherhood, your children and him. He falls in love with you again and again every single day just for it. You are the best thing that has happened to him.
Kiyoomi is thankful that he has a house where you and your children are in. He doesn’t go home everyday but he knows that when he does, you’re there to welcome him. Kia is there caring for her younger siblings with you. Mina is there drawing on the living room, while her dog, Momo, sleeps on the couch. Mira is there running after her twin brother and making sure he doesn’t hurt himself. Kin is there watching everything you do because he loves you so much. You’re there raising your children with sincerity and love. You and your child are there waiting for him.
Kiyoomi is thankful that he gets to go home to where the five of you are.
Sakusa Kiyoomi is thankful that you’re his home.
“I’m also excited for my new baby sister,” Kia mentions again. Kiyoomi for sure knows you aren’t pregnant because if you are, you would be complaining about it again. Or are you hiding it from him?
“Did your mama tell you that?” He asks for assurance that this is only part of Kia’s imagination and random child babbles.
“No, but I’m sure that mama has our baby sister in her stomach.” Kia closes her eyes and hugs Mina who is beside her.
“Okay...” Kiyoomi lets it pass and slowly drifts back to sleep, too tired to go back to your room.
Morning comes and you wake up to an empty space beside you. “Kiyoomi must have gone jogging...” You yawn and stretch your arms up. It’s already 6AM but you don’t hear any of your children chant the word, “mama” so you stand up and check on them. The silence is too rare that it’s scaring you.
Mira’s, Kin’s and Mina’s rooms are empty so you get anxious. You’re telling yourself that maybe Kiyoomi brought them jogging with him so you’ll feel better, but your anxiety grows since you know that Kiyoomi will never bring the four of them with him. Momo goes out of Kia’s room so you run to it, in hopes that your children are all there.
They are, and your husband is also there.
Kia and Mina are tucked in Kiyoomi’s armpits. Their hands holding onto their father’s shirt. Mira’s face is flat laid flat on Kiyoomi’s stomach, but her body is on the bed. Kin is on his thighs, the small boy hugging the muscular leg. You let out a silent giggle at the cute sight in front of you.
And all that happiness fades when you suddenly feel lightheaded. The feeling of being nauseous hits you so you run to Kia’s bathroom, which wakes everyone in the room up.
“Babe, are you okay?” Kiyoomi asks you he shakes his kids off his body.
“See, papa? I told you mama has our baby sister in her stomach!” Kia states as she rubs her sleepy eyes.
“We’re having another child?!”
End.

AN: Idk who’s still active considering I haven’t uploaded this story in almost 2 years but hopefully someone will enjoy it! :)
Chapter 31
Under the Mistletoe
Natsu grinned to himself as he tacked the decoration just underneath the door frame to the bedroom. With its white berries, beautiful green leaves, and the red ribbon tied around the stems, he was sure it was going to bring a smile to Lucy’s face when she saw it. And if she somehow missed it, then he was more than happy to point it out to her since it meant stealing a kiss from her.
“Natsu? What’s that?” Lucy’s voice called out.
Turning around to face the girl, he gave her a grin. Grabbing her hand, he quickly pulled her close to him.
“Look up,” he said, planting his hands on her hips.
Lucy glanced up, her eyes landing on the mistletoe that hung over them. Her lips curled into a small smile, her cheeks tinted pink having been caught off-guard.
“Mistletoe? Where’d you get that?” she asked with a laugh.
“Borrowed it from Cana,” he answered, peering down at her with a toothy grin. “In her words, it was going to ‘get me laid.’ Figured I would test her theory out. So? Whatcha think?”
Lucy playfully rolled her eyes. “I think that we still have a lot more decorating to do before the others get here. But…” Leaning towards him, she pressed her lips against his in a chaste kiss. Pulling away, she smiled up at him. “It’d be breaking tradition if we didn’t kiss.”
Natsu watched as Lucy headed back to the living room to continue decorating for the Christmas party they were throwing. Lucy, wanting to be festive for the holiday, wore a skimpy Santa suit that Natsu couldn’t tear his eyes away from. Not only did it show a nice amount of cleavage, the dress was so short that it barely covered her bum. Another nice touch that spurred his desire was the white fluff that hemmed the edges, giving it a real Christmas vibe. She also wore white knee-high socks, which always brought his attention to her creamy legs. To top it all off, she wore a Santa hat.
Natsu’s pants felt tight just looking at her.
Following her out into the living room, he wrapped his arms around her from behind. He could tell that she felt him hard against her from the way she jumped.
“Can’t we just take a lil’ break and do something else?” Natsu asked. He brushed Lucy’s hair out of the way and softly nuzzled the shell of her ear. Her body melted into his as he ran his hands up her sides and over her breasts. He was about to slip his hands underneath the cloth when she jumped away from him.
“No, Natsu,” she said, narrowing her eyes at him. Her face was flushed with heat as she continued, “We can do that later but for now, we have to finish decorating. They’ll be here soon.”
Natsu huffed, crossing his arms with a pout. “Why are we celebrating over here anyways? It’d be easier to just meet them there. They already have a bunch of decorations up.”
“I don’t want to intrude during the holidays.”
“What do you mean? You aren’t intruding. You’ve been there tons of times by now!”
“I’ve only been there a few times, for your information. And I just don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.”
“Who would feel uncomfortable with you coming?” Natsu asked, arching a brow.
“Well, Mira for one,” Lucy answered, her lips tugged into a small frown.
Natsu immediately understood, rubbing the back of his head. “Look, don’t take it personally. Mira’s just… different. It doesn’t have to do with you. She can’t really handle bein’ around mortals much. That’s why she’s the only one who turns down her chances of going to the outside world.”
“I know it’s nothing personal,” Lucy replied. “But it doesn’t matter. I’m not offended or anything by it. It’s just that she deserves to feel comfortable in her own home on Christmas. I’m okay with just having you guys over. And I’m okay with you going over there to celebrate too.”
Natsu frowned, uncomfortable with the thought of leaving Lucy alone for even a minute on Christmas. He promised her months ago that he would spend the day with her, how could he just leave?
“You know I don’t hafta go,” he said. “The others can go back without me. I’ll stay here with you.”
Lucy smiled and shook her head. “Thank you, Natsu. I appreciate that you’d do that for me, but you should go back later with them. I’m not the only person who wants to spend Christmas with you, and I’m not going to be that girlfriend who keeps her boyfriend away from his friends. It’ll just be for a couple of hours, so you’re going. And when you get back, we can exchange presents.”
Before he could argue, she grabbed some more decorations from the box, gave him a quick peck on the cheek, and went to hang them up.
About ten minutes later, there was a knock at the door.
“Merry Christmas, Lucy!” the rest of the gang shouted the moment she opened the door.
Lucy beamed at them. “Merry Christmas, you guys! Thanks for coming over!”
As everyone headed inside, Lucy noticed that she wasn’t the only one dressed for the holidays. Juvia adorned a beautiful blue dress covered in snowflakes and sparkles, a little tiara resting on her head.
“Juvia is an ice princess,” the girl said when she noticed Lucy staring.
“You look beautiful, Juvia!” she replied. And it was true. The blue complimented her hair and fair skin perfectly. Her eyes moved over to Gray. He wore a top hat and some black jeans. As usual, he was without a shirt. “What’s up with the hat?”
“The guild always makes me dress as Frosty the Snowman on Christmas,” he replied, crossing his arms over his chest.
“So you wore a hat? Or was there more of the costume that you stripped away?”
“There was more, but they’re long gone by now.”
Lucy nodded, moving her gaze over to Erza and Jellal. While they weren’t fully dressed up like Juvia and herself, they wore cute reindeer headbands.
Levy, on the other hand, wore an adorable elf costume. It was red and green, which although contrasted her hair greatly, still managed to look amazing on her. Her leggings were striped in the same green and red, and her hat had a bell at the tip.
“You look so cute, Levy-chan!” Lucy gushed, wrapping the petite girl in a hug.
“You too, Lu-chan!” the girl replied.
Gajeel pushed past the two girls, allowing Lucy to see his costume. He was dressed in a Santa costume, his hair spray-dyed white. A scowl was plastered to his face as he grumbled, “Damn Shrimp, makin’ me dress up like this.”
As soon as he was out of earshot, Levy cupped her hand around her mouth and whispered to Lucy, “I didn’t make him dress up like that. He woke up hours before everyone else so that he could get ready.”
Lucy covered her mouth with her hands, trying to stifle her laughter. Just the thought of Gajeel happily getting ready to dress up as Santa Claus had her nearly hunched over in laughter.
“Your apartment is so festive, Lucy,” Erza’s voice called out to her.
“Thanks!” she replied, her smile as bright as the lit-up Christmas tree she had Natsu put in the corner of the living room. Lights were strewn across the ceiling, decorations were tacked to the wall, and she even woke up early in the morning to bake Christmas cupcakes. To say she loved Christmas was an understatement. She hadn’t been able to really celebrate the holiday in a long time, so now she was going all out.
“Can we open presents already!?” Natsu asked, bouncing excitedly in his seat.
“We just got here, idiot,” Gray said, rolling his eyes.
Erza chimed in, “I agree with Natsu. We should open presents now.” Even though she kept a straight face and was still in her seat unlike Natsu, the twinkle in her eye made it obvious she was looking forward to presents just as much as he was.
“Presents it is then,” Lucy said with a laugh. Everyone sat in the living room, presents sitting in their laps. With how big their group was, they decided to do a secret Santa exchange to save money. “Who goes first?”
“I will!” Erza exclaimed, a bright grin settling over her face. “Whoever got me, step forward!”
Lucy stood from the couch. “That would be me!” Handing Erza the gift, she watched as the redhead tore away the wrapping paper in an instant, revealing a rectangular box. Lucy watched anxiously as Erza removed the tape from the box’s sides. She may not have known Erza long, but she thought she knew her well enough. Though the redhead tried to hide it, there was a girly side to her.
Erza opened the box, pulling out a violet dress. It was made of silk and was long enough to reach the floor. The sides were slit to reveal her legs, giving it a sexier feel.
“This dress is gorgeous, Lucy!” Erza said in awe. She grabbed the tag, her eyes bugging out of her head as she read the label. “HK!? This must’ve cost a fortune!”
“It wasn’t too bad,” Lucy replied, waving her off. Though in truth, that dress alone cost most of her allowance. Still, it was worth it to see her friend smile.
Erza stood from the couch, holding her arms out in front of her for a hug. Lucy winced, knowing how rough the redhead could be. Knowing it was rude to turn it down, Lucy went in for a hug, praying that she wouldn’t bruise from it. Sure enough, Erza smashed her head down on her chest in what only she would call a hug.
“Thank you, Lucy!” Erza said.
“D-Don’t mention it,” she replied. She sat back down on the couch, her head dizzy.
“Her hugs hurt, huh?” Natsu whispered in her ear.
“So badly,” Lucy replied with a nod. She then watched as Erza handed Juvia a small box. The wrapping paper was crinkled, and looking closely, Lucy could see that there were some extra scraps taped on, probably because she ripped the bottom layer.
Gently tearing the wrapping paper away, Juvia opened the box to find four slips of paper. Confused, she picked them up and read the words printed on them. Immediately, a bright smile graced her face.
“Oh, thank you, Erza!” she exclaimed.
“Wait, what is it?” Levy asked, unable to see what they were from where she sat.
Juvia held up the slips of paper. “They’re two train tickets to Crocus and to the Crocus Garden!”
“No way!” Lucy shouted. “I heard that they have a rainbow sakura tree over there! I’ve always wanted to go!”
“Well, the extra ticket was meant for Gray, but I suppose you could bring Lucy instead,” Erza said with a shrug.
Lucy laughed at the panic that washed over Juvia’s face. “Don’t worry, Juvia. You don’t have to bring me. It sounds like a fun date for you and Gray!”
The blue-headed girl heaved a sigh of relief.
Natsu nudged her lightly.
“I didn’t know you wanted to go there,” he said.
Lucy smiled at him. “Yeah. I’ve never been to Crocus before. I would love to see the rainbow sakura tree someday.”
“Then I’ll take ya there!”
“The train ride is over six hours long. I don’t think you’d last, Natsu.”
The boy glared at her, crossing his arms with a huff. “If you wanna go there, then I don’t care how long the train ride is. We’re going!”
Lucy giggled at his pouty face, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Thank you, Natsu. I’m looking forward to it.”
Turning her attention back on Juvia, she watched the girl hand Gajeel his gift. It was kept in a tiny gift bag, small enough to make Lucy wonder what could possibly fit in it. Reaching inside, Gajeel pulled out what looked like a receipt. His eyes scanned the printed words before his eyes grew wide.
“No fucking way,” he said, whipping his head towards Juvia.
The girl nodded quickly, her smile wide. “Yep! Juvia bought you an electric guitar! Juvia left it back home though because it was too hard to wrap.”
Lucy’s jaw dropped on its hinges. An electric guitar? That blew the cost of the designer dress she bought Erza out of the water! How Juvia could afford to even buy it, she didn’t know.
She watched as Gajeel- the boy who was usually a snarky hardass- turned into a weeping mess as he thanked Juvia and showed Levy the receipt.
Lucy was surprised that Juvia would spend so much money for someone that wasn’t Gray, but after hearing from Natsu that the two were best friends since before even joining Fairy Tail, she couldn’t say she was too surprised. They must’ve known each other for decades- hell, depending on how old they were, maybe even centuries. He always stood up for her when people made fun of her for speaking in third person, and she was the one that dragged him from heading down a dark path and into Fairy Tail. Their friendship was strong, and Lucy admired that.
Lucy was brought from her thoughts when she heard Gajeel and Natsu arguing. Apparently Natsu was teasing Gajeel for crying. Before a fight could break out, Lucy and Levy forced their boyfriends to sit down by pulling on their ears.
Gajeel grumbled to himself before handing Jellal his present.
Jellal’s brows rose. “You didn’t have to buy me a Christmas present. You just bought me a birthday present a few weeks ago.”
“Yeah, yeah. You say that every year. You should know by now that people are still gonna get you a Christmas present,” Gajeel replied, rolling his eyes.
Jellal smiled before ripping away the wrapping paper. Inside was a leatherback journal along with a calligraphy set.
“I know Erza retrieved your old research journal from a museum or whatever, but I figured you could use a new one. And Shrimp here told me that you like to do calligraphy too.”
“I do. Thank you, Gajeel. It’s very thoughtful.”
“Yeah, whatever.”
Lucy chuckled. “What a tsundere.”
Gajeel turned red in the face. “Shut up!”
Jellal grabbed a perfectly wrapped gift- much different than the gift his wife had wrapped- and handed it to Natsu. The pink-haired boy lit up like the Christmas tree, snatching it with a quick word of thanks before ripping into it like his life had depended on it. He uncovered a box full of different snacks, hot sauces from all over the world, and gift cards to fast food chains.
“I truly did not know what else to get you besides food,” Jellal admitted. “After you caught the basement on fire with the pyrotechnics kit I bought you, I was prohibited from making that mistake again.”
Natsu grinned, grabbing a bag of chips and tearing into it. “Hey, this works for me!” Grabbing the wrapped gift at his ankle, he tossed it to Levy. “Oi, catch!”
Levy squealed, fumbling as she just barely caught the present. “I’m assuming this isn’t fragile.”
“Nope. But it did cost an arm and a leg to get it, so you better be glad!”
Levy perked a brow before opening the present. Inside the box was a stack of papers, stapled at the top. Her eyes scanned the words, confused as to what it could’ve been.
“What is it?” she asked. It appeared to be a story, though there was no covering to it.
“It’s a Heartfilia original!”
Levy’s eyes nearly burst out of their sockets. She whipped her head between Natsu and Lucy, the latter blushing.
“Lu-chan wrote this?”
The blonde nodded. “It’s the very first story I’ve written. I started that way back during my first lifetime and I recently finished it. When I told Natsu about it, he said that he wanted to give it to you for Christmas. You’ll officially be my first reader, just like I promised!”
Levy burst into a fit of tears before tackling Natsu and Lucy to the ground. “I’ve been waiting for this day for forever! Thanks, you guys!”
Natsu laughed. “Don’t mention it!”
“And don’t show it to people either! It’s embarrassing!” Lucy added.
Levy nodded, eager to read the story when Gajeel reminded her they were still in the process of Secret Santa.
“Oh, right. Here you go, Gray!”
The boy thanked her as he accepted the gift. It was in a small gift bag. Reaching his hand in, he pulled out two slips of paper.
“H-Holy shit!” he shouted. “These are concert tickets to see Lyra! They’re my favorite band!”
Natsu stood up, grabbing a ticket to see it himself. “No way! You gotta give me the extra ticket!”
“Why the hell would I wanna see a concert with you!?”
“Not like I wanna see one with you either, but I love Lyra too!”
“You can give the extra ticket to whoever you want,” Levy said with a shrug. Truthfully she wanted Secret Santa to end as quickly as possible so she could hurry up and read Lucy’s story. “Anyways, you’re next, Gray!”
Gray handed Juvia the tickets for safekeeping- mainly to make sure Natsu didn’t steal one. He stood up and headed towards Lucy, the last person left in Secret Santa.
“I got you, Lucy,” he said, his lips curled into a small smile.
She mirrored his expression, accepting the gift. She assumed he wasn’t good at wrapping since it was in a bag. When she reached inside the bag, she realized that he didn’t even use tissue paper to hide the present.
Her fingers brushed against something smooth. Grabbing the object carefully, she pulled it out of the bag. It was a beautiful wooden box, its edges intricately carved. The top was painted a stunning starry landscape. She went to open the box, only to find a heart-shaped lock keeping it shut.
“The key is in the bag too,” Gray said, noticing her confusion.
She fished inside the gift bag for the key, inserting it into the lock and opening the box. The inside was lined with velvet, and the top had a small mirror glued to it. Lined pads were in the box, clueing Lucy into what the box was.
“It’s a jewelry box,” Gray said, shoving his hands in his pockets. “I made it myself.” Smiling over at his girlfriend, he added, “Juvia painted the top though.”
“Thank you, Gray!” Lucy exclaimed, jumping up from the couch and hugging the boy. “It’s beautiful! I can’t believe you made it yourself!”
“Don’t mention it. I figured it’d be better than leaving your locket in a tampon box. That’s what the lock is for. Now you can keep it somewhere clean and safe.”
Tears pricked Lucy’s eyes. He made it so that she can hide her locket? Throwing her arms around the boy, she thanked him again, all the while wondering how she managed to find such great friends. She also made sure to thank Juvia for the beautiful painting she did on the box.
As the group split up into pairs to gush over their presents, Lucy excused herself to go to the restroom. When she was finished, she was surprised to find Natsu waiting outside the door.
“What are you doing?” the girl asked. She had known him long enough to recognize that mischievous glint in his eyes.
Instead of replying, the boy simply pointed up. Following his finger, Lucy found mistletoe taped in the doorway of the bathroom, hanging above them. Natsu’s hand slid up her thigh below her skirt.
“Are you crazy?” Lucy whispered, peering over his shoulder to make sure nobody was coming. “Everyone is here right now! We could get caught!”
“Good luck being quiet then,” Natsu replied with an evil grin. He slid his hand up to her rear, giving it a squeeze. Pushing her hair out of the way, he sank his lips over her neck.
Lucy gnawed on her lower lip in hopes of staying quiet. “You know, a mistletoe is just for a quick kiss on the lips, not this.”
Natsu shrugged, continuing his exploration of her neck. His hands slowly grazed her curves until brushing against the side of her breasts. Before he could grab them, Lucy reluctantly pulled away from him with a glare.
“Not while our friends are here!” she said, smoothing out her dress. She lightly smacked his hand away when he tried to reach out to her again. Sticking her tongue out at him playfully, she scurried off to join the rest of their friends back in the living room. Natsu chuckled before following after her.
Eventually, the group cleaned up the apartment as it was time to head back to Fairy Tail for the next Christmas party.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna join us, Lucy?” Gray asked.
Lucy nodded, faking a yawn. “Yeah, I’m a bit tired now. But I’ll see you guys tomorrow!” The only person she told about the real reason she didn’t want to go to Fairy Tail was Natsu. She didn’t want the others to worry and try to reassure her. She was fine with them going to celebrate with the rest of the immortals. She was happy enough with the time she got to spend with them.
The group nodded, saying their last goodbyes before heading out the door. Natsu stayed behind.
“Are you really sure about this?” he asked. He still hated the thought of leaving her by herself on Christmas.
Lucy smiled. “Yes, Natsu. I’m fine, I promise.”
“We can just stay in my room the whole time if you’re that worried about Mira!”
“No. I want you to be able to celebrate with everyone. And I’m sure they’re looking forward to celebrating with you too. I’m fine, Natsu. Now shoo.”
Natsu sighed in defeat. “Alright, but I’m coming right back here later tonight, okay? And if you change your mind, let me know and I’ll come walk you to Fairy Tail. Or if you get lonely I can come here.”
“Yeah, yeah, I understand. Now go. You’re already late enough as it is.”
Natsu gave her a quick kiss. “I’ll see you later.”
Before he could change his mind, Lucy waved and quickly shut the door, locking it so he knew she was serious about wanting him to have fun with everyone else. Staring at her empty apartment, admittedly the girl did feel a pinch of loneliness. Regardless, this was the best Christmas she’d had since her first life, she could deal with a couple of hours on her own. Grabbing a cup of hot chocolate, she curled up in a thick blanket and turned on a Christmas movie. The loneliness she felt quickly faded away.
Natsu cheered with the rest of the immortals, clinking his glass of spiked eggnog with everyone else. They had just finished the annual Fairy Tail Secret Santa. For this Secret Santa, he was assigned Cana, who was by far one of the easiest people to shop for. Give the girl a bottle of booze and she’s indebted to you for life.
He had also gotten a gift from Juvia, who was his Secret Santa. It was a hoodie from his favorite band, along with their newest CD. He still had to give Lucy her gifts later, and was eager to see what she got him as well. This year was shaping up to be the best Christmas ever.
When the party died down and people started heading to their rooms, Natsu decided that it was time to head back to Lucy’s. He went to his room to grab the gift he kept stashed away so that she wouldn’t find it.
“You heading over to Lucy’s now?” Gray asked after entering their room.
“Yep. Just had to get her present first.”
“So, what’s the real reason she didn’t want to come over here? She wasn’t really tired, right? Is she still feeling nervous around everyone?”
“Kinda,” Natsu answered, rubbing the back of his head. “Truthfully it’s just Mira.”
Gray winced. “Oh. Yeah, that makes sense.”
Mira was a nice girl, one of the nicest he had ever known. Unfortunately, her past with the mortals was the most traumatizing story he had ever heard. It was one that everyone knew not to ever bring up, for they knew the girl was haunted by it everyday. Nobody could blame her for keeping her guard up around Lucy, nor could they blame her for being the only immortal to turn down a chance at seeing the outside world.
“Yeah. I told Lucy that it wasn’t personal and that Mira was a bit different than the rest of us, but she still decided to stay home. She didn’t want Mira feeling uncomfortable on Christmas.”
Gray smiled. “Lucy’s a really nice girl, huh.”
“Yep,” Natsu replied with a grin of his own. “Anyways, I’m out of here.”
With hurried steps, the boy rushed up the stairs of the basement and out the door. He made sure to lock the doors to the pub behind him since the immortals were free to roam the top floor on Christmas.
Excited to see Lucy and still feeling guilty for leaving her, Natsu wasted no time in unlocking the door and closing it behind him. What he saw when he turned around made his jaw drop to the floor.
There in the living room stood Lucy, practically naked. She still adorned the Santa hat she wore earlier, but she had discarded the dress. Instead, she had a Christmas bow taped to the middle of her collarbone, the ends flowing and covering her nipples. She also wore red underwear with white trimming on the edges.
“Welcome back,” Lucy said, her hands behind her back.
“How long were you waiting there like that?” Natsu asked, nearly choking on his tongue while he ogled her.
“Not too long.” Lucy lifted her arm above her head, revealing a mistletoe in her hand. “Well? Are you going to join me?”
Natsu nodded his head so fast it felt like it was going to fall off. He ripped off his pants and rushed towards her, nearly tripping in his haste. Grabbing her by the hips, he crashed his lips upon hers.
“I take it this is my Christmas present?” he asked with a grin, lightly tugging the end of the bow that was taped to her.
“Yep. Wanna unwrap me?”
Natsu’s hands eagerly ripped the bow off of her before carrying her to the bed. Dropping her on the bed, he quickly tore off his shirt. Lucy squirmed below him, anticipation filling her fingertips as she tugged on his boxers. Without wasting another second, he took them off along with hers.
“You are so hot, Lucy,” Natsu said as he pressed his face between her breasts. He always enjoyed the feeling of being between them.
“Oh yeah?” Lucy replied with a smile. His praise always managed to turn her on.
“Mhmm. I mean, you were practically naked when I got here.”
“Because I’ve been looking forward to this all day. Now, are you going to get me off or am I going to have to do it myself?”
Natsu grinned before grabbing her breast in one hand while nuzzling the other. He could feel Lucy moving below him, trying to guide his cock to her folds. In his haze, he remembered the last time they had sex.
“That’s right, I have to repay you for last time,” Natsu said.
“Hmm?” Lucy absentmindedly hummed out, too focused on the work he was doing on her breasts.
Instead of using his words to explain, Natsu trailed kisses from her breasts down to her navel, then to her thighs. He left feather-light kisses over right thigh, hovering over her folds before moving to her left. He stifled a laugh as he could feel Lucy getting impatient every time he neared her folds. Unable to hold himself back for too long, he pressed his lips against her flesh, slowly sucking on her skin.
Lucy nearly screamed at the sudden pleasure that raked her body the moment Natsu’s lips touched her sensitive skin. Her breaths grew louder as his lips worked over her. When his tongue suddenly grazed her clitoris, she let out a harsh breath.
“Fuck,” she said, covering her mouth with one hand while the other gripped the sheets.
Natsu glanced up at her with a proud grin. Grabbing her wrist, he pinned it to her side.
“I wanna hear you,” he said before returning his lips to her flesh. His tongue circled around her entrance before delving into her. Since he stopped her from covering her mouth, she opted for grabbing his hair instead, finding that she had to do something with her hands. His mouth was driving her crazy.
“N-Natsu,” she breathed out. “I’m not going to last long at this rate.”
“That’s fine,” he replied, his breath warm against her flesh. It sent a shiver down her spine. “I want to make you cum like this anyways.”
Not bothering to wait for her reply, he dragged his tongue over her clitoris before giving it a hard kiss. Lucy screamed out in pleasure, thrusting her hips and grinding his face. Switching from kissing and licking, he knew that Lucy was about to break, judging from her quick breaths and the way her legs shook around his neck. In seconds, she shuddered against him, her grip tightening on his hair as she moaned out his name.
When it was clear she was done, Natsu laid beside her with a grin.
“Well? How was it?” he asked. Though, he could tell from her flushed cheeks that it was more than good.
Lucy tried to regain her breath as she replied, “We’re definitely doing that again sometime.”
“Sounds good to me.”
“Well, it’s your turn now!” Lucy exclaimed, sitting up. She positioned herself between his legs, stroking his hot shaft.
Taking a quick peek at him, she found his eyes squeezed shut as he enjoyed himself. Not wanting to keep him waiting, Lucy dragged her tongue against his cock before shoving it in her mouth. She started slow, still not used to this yet. When she started to feel more comfortable, she pushed herself further, allowing his whole shaft into her mouth.
“Fuck, Lucy,” Natsu ground out.
Knowing that he enjoyed it, Lucy picked up the pace while still going as far as she could. Tears pricked her eyes, but she ignored it in favor of pleasuring him the way he did for her.
Natsu tried to control his breathing, but the way Lucy’s hot mouth tugged on his cock had him nearing sweet release.
“L-Lucy, I’m about to cum,” he warned.
The blonde only nodded. That only made the fire in Natsu burn hotter.
Lucy, feeling adventurous, decided she wanted to try something new. Something that she had read about in a mature book once.
Instead of shoving his cock as far as she could in her mouth, she went halfway down his shaft. Using her hand, she pumped the lower half while sucking the top.
In seconds, Lucy felt something hot shoot into her mouth as Natsu shook beneath her with a groan. She allowed him to ride out his orgasm before eventually withdrawing. Not knowing what to do with the liquid in her mouth, she quickly gulped it down.
Natsu winced. “Sorry, was it gross?”
Lucy shook her head. “Not at all, no need to apologize. I wanted to do it.”
Natsu smiled. The two laid there in a content silence, their bodies tired. When they finally regained their energy, Lucy stood up from the bed and grabbed something from the closet. Turning around, she smiled while holding a neatly wrapped gift.
“You got me a gift?” Natsu asked, his voice laced with childlike excitement.
“Duh! You didn’t really think sex was your only gift, right?” Handing him the gift, she watched as he tore off the wrapping paper and quickly opened the box to reveal a painting of him and Igneel.
Natsu looked up at Lucy with watery eyes. “W-What… How did you do this?”
“I commissioned an artist to paint it for me,” she answered. “I noticed that the picture you have of you and Igneel was old and a little torn, probably because of how much time had passed since it was printed. I didn’t want it to get ruined since it’s your only picture with Igneel, so I had someone recreate it. A canvas is more durable than a picture, so hopefully it’ll-!”
Lucy’s words were cut short as Natsu pulled her in for a tight hug. She could feel the light tremors of his body. Smiling, she wrapped her arms around him and allowed him to cry onto her shoulder.
“Do you like it?” she asked.
Natsu pulled away, wiping his eyes before smiling at her. “I love it. Thanks, Lucy. Oh, I got you a gift too.” Grabbing his previously discarded sweater, he pulled out a long, velvet box from the pocket. “Sorry, I didn’t have time to wrap it. And it’s not as good as the gift you gave me…”
Lucy lifted his chin to meet his gaze. “I’ll love it. Don’t worry. Can I see what it is?”
Natsu nodded, handing her the box and watching as she opened it. Upon doing so, Lucy gasped, one of her hands flying up to her mouth. Inside the box was a beautiful necklace with dangling diamond charms of constellations.
“Natsu, it’s beautiful!” she exclaimed. She gave him a worried look. “This must have cost a fortune!”
The boy shrugged with a laugh. “Don’t worry about that. My housing and tuition is free, so I have a good amount of money saved up. You like it?”
Lucy nodded, wiping a tear from her eye. She had never received a Christmas gift from a boyfriend before, and his knocked it out of the park.
“Of course I do! It’s beautiful! Thank you so much, Natsu!”
“I’m sorry mine isn’t as sentimental as yours. I probably should’ve put more thought into it. I just know you really like stars, so I wanted to get you something related to that.”
Lucy grabbed his hand with a smile. “Do you know why I love the stars?” After he shook his head, she continued, “It’s because of my first mother. We used to stargaze every night, and she taught me about a bunch of constellations, all of them being on this necklace. This necklace is plenty sentimental. Thank you, Natsu. I love it so much.”
They hugged again.
“Merry Christmas, Lucy.”
“Merry Christmas, Natsu.”

Hey, since STARISH is doing those concerts where they appear on a screen (kind of Vocaloid-like) AGAIN this year, and one of the shows is on Masato’s birthday (AGAIN), what do you think they could do for him on that day? How would you react if it happened?
Hey there anon! To be 100% honest, I'm not that familiar with the Utapri CG Star Live concerts. It's not something I've experienced so idk how it goes or what to expect T.T but it'd be nice if they did something special for Masa's bday!
As for my reaction, I've mentioned I haven't seen these CG lives, but honestly: if it's Utapri, you can bet money I would cry at some point. I always do lmao
#mira chan answers#anon#wow it's been a while!#sorry i think the cg live is the utapri related thing i'm least familiar with kjnfkdf

Who writes 2.7k words of prologue? lol me
I’ll set up the masterlist when I’m done with the 1st Chapter.
Thank you so much @oii-sugasan and @haikyuu-is-for-lovers for the betaread! :)
Let me know if you wanna be tagged
Chapter 1 || masterlist
You aren’t just annoying. You’re a fucking menace. Every time he goes to the gym, your presence is like a plague. You're just a manager, but sometimes he thinks that you think you’re the assistant coach. There’s nothing he’d love more than to shower you with the nastiest, most off-handed comments, just to shut you up and wipe the cheery grin that taunts him every time he sees you.
Seriously, you’re all over the place -- you talk to all members of the team as if you’re a player yourself, you nag everyone to take care of themselves outside training like you’re their older sister, you hand out self-gathered information on upcoming matches as soon as matchups are announced, you scamper around the gym tossing balls, assembling the net, doing whatever the hell you can get your hands on, all the while wearing those stupid shorts that distract the majority of the team, especially the new members.
As his eyes follow you, you suddenly turn around to face him, breaking him from his reverie. Even when you’re halfway across the gymnasium, he can see the sharp playfulness that you always exude whenever you talk to him.
“Tsukishima!” You wave at him with that disgustingly sweet grin. “If you’re done staring at my sexy back, you can start your blocking drills, okay?!” you shout with a voice loud enough for everyone else in the gym to hear. Tsukishima feels multiple sets of eyes glance towards his direction and he ‘tsks’ in annoyance under his breath.
He immediately walks away. He refuses to hear more of the unnecessary and untrue prattles directed at him by you.
He hears footsteps follow him. Judging from its pace and heavy strides, he already knows its Kogane without even looking
“Oi, Tsukki. Do you like our manager?”
He doesn’t understand why Kogane is whispering when you’re half a court away from them. More than that, he doesn’t understand why Kogane assumes he likes you. For one, you were wrong: he wasn’t even staring at you. He was staring randomly at nothing while thinking about how irritating you are and you just happened to be at his line of sight.
“I don’t see anything to like about her,” he replies passively.
“What? Why? She’s super helpful -- and pretty too.” Kogane, just like the rest of the team, believes so. Even Kyoutani is fond of you because of that one time you received his spike on full force. You rolled on your back from the sheer power of it but you were able to receive it perfectly, making the whole team go wild when you did, with him as the only exception as he found it inane.
“If you think so, go confess or something then.”
“You know we can’t!” Pink stains begin to surface on his teammate’s cheeks, obviously infatuated with you. Then again, this is not new to him. It was a basic reaction from anyone whose dick is more functional than their brain. Maybe it’s because you’re the only female so close to everyone else. Honestly, he really doesn’t know. But one thing’s for sure. Kogane has 0 chances with you, and neither does every player of Sendai Frogs.
He remembers the conceitedness you displayed even in your first year as a manager. You two became part of the team almost at the same time. He was two months in when the former manager introduced you to the team. As she finished introducing you, you whispered to her to add something. It went something like ‘oh, umm. y/n-chan also said that no one from the team can’t date her.’ Even the former manager looked at you weirdly but you were just there beaming as you bowed to everybody.
They thought it was a joke, but when you became a full-pledged manager in less than six months, you announced it yourself.
‘I know I’m kind of cute, but I won’t ever consider dating anyone from the team. Okay?’
You announce it with a sickening smile every time there are new members, reminding everyone else that you’re untouchable.
It’s fucking atrocious, to him at least. Unlike the other players from his team, he’s not shallow enough to fancy you just because you’re not disgusting to look at, or that you did your managerial duties so exceedingly well.
He grits his teeth. He hates it. How can someone so chaotic as you be so effective in managing the team. What grinds him even more is that you go to the same university he does, and even there, your presence stinks. He once had a class with you only to find out that you’re not as dumb as you make yourself out to be.
It’s infuriating. He can’t wait for the day you mess up -- only then would he finally get the chance to diss you. He’ll turn that shit-eating smile of yours upside down.
--
Man, nothing boosts your mood better than bugging Tsukishima. When you felt his sinister stare boring at your back earlier, you just couldn’t waste the opportunity to say something about it. He just ignored you, but the scowl on his face was enough response to satisfy you.
The truth is, you have nothing against Tsukishima. Yeah, he has a sharp tongue and a vile attitude, but hey, he’s a good team player. He doesn’t speak much, but he gets shit done in matches. Despite his foul personality, he’s actually manageable: he listens to you and he rarely shows up late. He’s not particularly motivating to look at, but he still does what’s asked of him. For some reason that you don’t know, he still hasn’t spat out his usual, rancid remarks towards you. You know he’s itching to, and honestly, you’re kind of curious of what he’ll throw your way.
Still, for the last three years he kept his mouth shut even though he looks at you like you’re the most unpleasant being he’s ever laid eyes on.
“Y/n!”
You jog towards the team coach, Coach Mira. “Yes, Coach?”
“Do you like Tsukishima?” she asks curiously. The question is funny to you but you hold back the laughter and smile instead.
You like Coach Mira a lot. She’s more like an older sister than a coach to you. You’re free to share a few laughs with her, and she values your input to the team. Maybe it’s because you’re both women drowned in a sea of male athletes that you sort of have that innate connection.
“No, Coach. Why?”
“Cause you pay attention to him the most.”
“I don’t see what’s to like about him,” you veer your gaze towards his direction, watching his scowling face as he walks away, Koganegawa following closely behind him. You can’t hear them, but the sight is already amusing as it is. “I just like putting him in place whenever he’s being extra nasty,” you add.
“If you say so, y/n. Honestly, I don’t really care if you go out with one of them.”
You wave your hand back and forth like you’re swatting a fly. “No way, Coach. They’re like little boys I’m taking care of.”
She sweeps her gaze behind you, scanning all the players present in the court. “Can’t say they feel the same way though.” Then she looks at the same person you’re looking at. “Well, maybe except for Tsukishima.”
“That’s why I like messing around with him the most,” you admit with mirth as you watch Tsukishima get away from Kogane.
--
Everyone in the gymnasium is staring as they enter the arena. If there’s one thing opposing teams remember about the Sendai Frogs, it’s their female tandem of a stone-cold coach and a ‘hot,’ bubbly manager who walk side by side in front of the whole team, not the players.
It’s not really an issue for Tsukishima. He doesn’t really care. Shimizu had the same reputation back in high school. But you? You’re not Shimizu. You aren’t even close.
And you, being the chaotic mess that you are, you milked the attention. Whenever someone blatantly gapes at you, you’d wave at them. You’d even entertain those who openly flirted with you. In retrospect, he should find it despicable. Rather finds it entertaining. So does the rest of the team.
When the Sendai Frogs reach their spot, a guy wearing a Tamaden Elephants jersey approaches you shamelessly. A brave (maybe a little bit foolish) act, considering you’re with the whole team.
“Hi!”
You turn around and greet him just as enthusiastically, maybe even more.
“I just want to say, great game from last season, he says as he scratches the back of his head.
Liar.
If the guy really wants to acknowledge the team’s play from last season, he’d approach one of the players. He also wouldn’t have that stupid blush on his awe-struck face.
“Thank you! Great game indeed,” you return the compliment.
As soon as the guy starts fidgeting, Tsukishima can already guess what comes next: it’s either a date or your number.
“If you don’t mind, can I get your number?”
Tsukishima sneers at how predictable the scene is, and he can’t wait to see what comes next.
You beam at the guy. “Sure! It’s number 1.”
He still smiles even though he’s obviously dumb-founded. “Sorry, what?”
“My number, right? It’s 1. Cause we’re number 1 in the district,” You say with that fake innocence that isn’t really fooling anyone.
“...Uhh.”
“Go Sendai Frogs!” You cheer out of the blue and as if an automated response, the rest of the team, even Tsukishima (though lifelessly), answers.
“Sendai Frogs fight!”
The loud baritone of deep male voices drew the attention of other people in the area, brightening your face up even more as you focus on the guy in front of you again. He looks scandalized by what just happened.
“How about you? What’s your number?” you ask, pushing the guy to a mental corner as Tsukishima and his team glares at him while waiting for how he’ll answer. An embarrassed blush replaces the previously infatuated one as he realizes that he shouldn’t have made the mistake of hitting on you.
“I-I’m not really sure,” his voice loses any shred of confidence it once had.
“Oh. That’s too bad,” you feign sympathy.
“Yeah.” The guy looks down. “Guess I’ll see you around,” he adds before retreating defeatedly.
“Bye! Nice to meet you,” you wave cordially. ‘Whoever you are, newbie elephant,’ you say to yourself as you watch the unfamiliar member of the Elephants go back to his team, a team you wiped the floor with last season.
Until now, you don’t understand why people still even bother. You welcomed the flirtations, but never really went out with anybody. You’re not really opposed to getting in a relationship, but like -- Gooood! They’re all so uninteresting. Rejecting them is more fun than the mere prospect of dating them.
You feel a familiar touch on your shoulder.
“Good job boosting the team morale,” Coach Mari says in a volume that only you can hear as she pats you.
“Thanks, Coach!” You grin at her praise.
You turn around to check your players and your eyes instantly land on Tsukishima who had just put on his white headphones and began scrolling at his phone. Around him, everyone else has already started stretching.
You bounce your way to him, knowing that you’d instantly get his attention even without saying anything. But even with you ogling when you stopped in front of him, he still doesn’t budge.
“Tsukishima.”
No response.
‘Heh,’ you snicker internally. He never fails to amuse you when he tries to ignore you.
“Tsu~ ki~ shi~ ma~” You bob your head sideways, popping at the opposing sides of his phone so he’ll notice you.
You don’t miss the minute twitch of his eyes as he drags his phone closer to him in an attempt to shut you out.
Tsk tsk. He should know better by now that you're not the type to back away.
You go beside him instead, tiptoeing so you can see what he’s so busy looking at. As soon as your arms touch his, he puts down his phone and irritatedly removes his headphones.
He’s shooting daggers at you, making you giddy with excitement as he looks like he’s about to say something you. You hold his gaze with a raised eyebrow and subtle smirk that you couldn’t suppress. Did he get fed up already? Is he finally going to say something?
‘Do it. Do it. Do it,’ you chant in your head.
He takes in a painful deep breath instead. “What?” The single word contains so much disdain that you want to cackle so bad.
“Shouldn’t you be stretching?” you query.
“In a bit.”
You leisurely shake your head with disapproval. “I know you’re a lazy ass fucker sometimes,” you begin. “But you always help us win. You’re our meanest, tallest, best blocker.” Your gaze drops down to his ankles and travels up.
“So,” you continue, dropping your voice amusedly, “stretch those gorgeous, God-given, legs you have.” Your eyes linger on his thighs before landing up to his face to smile sweetly at him. “Will you?”
This is one of the moments you’re pretty sure he won’t dare talk back at you. Why? Because you’re one hundred percent right, and he knows that too.
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t hate it.
He glares at you for one second and walks towards the rest of the team to join them.
--
Playing at the professional level, he always considers one match to be a big win already, even if it’s just the first match of the regular rounds. Ever since he became a starter for Sendai Frogs, he was not allowed to slack off even for one rally. He could take the lecture if it’s from Coach, but he couldn’t stomach it if it’s from you.
Even before the match started, you were already on his grill, pestering him just because he wasn’t warming up yet. He was pissed the whole game and put extra effort than usual to make sure that you won’t have anything to say after.
“Um, excuse me.” A girl from Red Rabbits blocks him on his way to the restroom. “Tsukishima, right?”
He can tell that she is trying her best to look nonchalant, but the familiar tint on her face is telling.
Tsukishima had never understood girls who approach him for anything remotely romantic. Does he look like he’s interested? It’s not that he’s not open to the idea of dating, but he finds it unpleasant when people go after him because they like how he plays. Worse, for some obtuse reason like him being ‘cute.’
“Yes. Why?”
She smiles at him bashfully with her arms crossed behind her. “I’m also a middle blocker. I was really inspired with how you read block so well. If it’s okay with you, can you teach me how you do it?”
Why would he do that? He’s already a senior college student who’s also a professional athlete. He has no reason to go out of his way to teach someone read blocking. Especially someone who’s already supposed to know it since (as she claims) she’s also a middle blocker. Judging from where they currently are, someone from Division 1 no less.
“Sorry. I’m really busy,” he says bluntly.
“Oh, okay. Sorry for bothering you.” She bows then takes off immediately.
He watches as the girl from Red Rabbits scampers off as quickly as humanly possible. Did she really think he’d agree to it?
He is too occupied to notice the faint sound of footsteps behind him, and only when you speak does he notice your presence.
“Aww, poor girl going out of her way to ask you out.”
He groans. Why are you even here? You’re supposed to be checking on the team since their match just ended.
You fall into step beside him as he brushes your comment off and continues heading for the rest rooms.
“I didn’t ask her to,” he calmly responds despite your irksome presence.
“How are you going to get a girlfriend like that?” you ask exaggeratedly as if not getting in a relationship will lead to his ruin.
“I don’t need one.”
You gasp. “Damn, Tsukishima. Men your age are all about raging hormones. Where do you put all that raging testosterone?”
He purses his lips in a corner, his jaw tensing at your remark. Men his age? You talk as if you’re older when you’re in the same year he is.
Also, what the fuck?
Now you’re nagging about his personal life too? You’re already aggravating as the team manager. Now you’re even sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong.
His blatant irritation must have shown in his face because you suddenly let out a giggle. “My bad, my bad. Don’t look so scary. Geez. Where you get action is none of my business. I just followed you to let you know that we’re leaving in twenty minutes.”
You turn around, about to go back but stop before you make the first step. “Oh, and we have a meeting later. I did the stat sheets of the game and gave it to the coach already. Great blocking, Tsukishima!” You pat his shoulder twice with a proud smile, then saunter off back to the arena.
Damn it. If only you aren’t so good at being a manager, he would actually be able to dislike you to the fullest. Not only that, he wouldn’t feel that silly, tiny contentment he felt upon hearing you.

Holis!
@norabeth 🥺 🤍 i hope i can answer your question well! (⁎˃ᆺ˂) I drift in between Spanish and English I apologize if it’s choppy 😖 writing Spanish has always been a fault 🥺
Of course that is with time~ I think Kyouka is just overall unsure of this new member that has joined the agency. Especially with Dany being skittish in the new environment she is in the first few weeks. But with time, they both do learn more about each other. Especially once Dany feels more at home with the Agency!
I wouldn’t say there is a love triangle, I keep atsukyou separate from my self shipping so Kyouka has no romantic feelings for Atsu here ^^ (if anything there is just a tiny implication of her having a crush when first meeting him and when he saved her UwU). However, Kyouka is protective of Atsushi when she notices a clear bond between the two animal gifted’s later on, overall just making sure Dany’s feelings for her mentor are genuine and true.
Also, on the side, it matters so much to Atsushi that the two get along well too 🥺🥰
Kyouka-chan is very observant, of course, and comes to the conclusion that Dany’s love for Atsushi is real and may occasionally leave them be in the dorms or nudge Atsushi to pursue his feelings. Giving him better advice than what Dazai can give lol. At least in terms of what she thinks Dany may like to do with Atsushi. At some point she just gives up and goes helping Dany instead (─‿‿─)♡ She’ll treat her to crepes more than Atsushi lol
When they are officially together, she is definitely the first to give them the congratulations and confidence in their relationship
(´。• ω •。`) ♡
Dany and her definitely have a nice older sister-younger sister relationship! Especially since neither have hand a sibling before, I think at some point later on down the line, Kyouka is definitely more protective of Dany 😅 because my poor s/I is a consistent 4’9”, while I feel Kyouka definitely grows to at least 5’2” or so. So the height difference is hilarious and is a protective, tall, younger sister 🐰
🙄 y AtsuDany se asustan (⋟﹏⋞) as they deserve lol.
Which later leads to her talking with Atsushi about him possibly moving in with Dany instead, especially when she sees how content they are and how often either sleeps over in either dorm. Which made Atsushi feel bad and guilty in a sense and didn’t want to think about the possibility; after all it’s been the two of them for a few years and doesn’t want Kyouka to feel alone or left out. To which she comes to understand and admits she didn’t want to be left alone after being so familiar with Atsushi’s presence over the years.
But she also wants what’s best for AtsuDany more than anything and is genuine and firm when she gives Atsushi the okay to move in with Dany 🤍 Besides, it’s time he moves out of his closet space and have a place to herself darn it 😤 lol y mi Pobre tigre no se como lo hace estar dormido aye (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
But ye! Kyouka thinks of Dany very highly! She loves and cares for her as an older sister and truly enjoys spending time with her and showing her around Yokohama when getting to know her in the beginning of her joining the Agency. Definitely looks to her for any advice or just general curiosities, like about her former home, her ability, learning Spanish, her cooking, etc. Atsushi definitely is very happy to have her blessings too, and to see them get along very well. His two favorite people 🥰🤍
The same goes for Dany! Caring so much for the dear and tries her best to be a good role model for Kyouka when she can be. 🐰🤍
Overall, wholesomeness and fluff all around! I hope I answered the question well for you dear! So sorry about my choppy Spanish in writing ;;;w;;; 🥺🤍 I am very grateful for your like spam on my selfship blog! I do hope to see more art of yours soon too! ✨🤍 I do always enjoy seeing it!
¡Muchos gracias otra vez! ¡Me da mucho gusto! 🤍🐺✨
#alpha’s amazing art friends 🥺#norabeth#self ship#AtsuDany#self ship ask#alpha rambles#honesty I love kyouka so much and I know she would be so soft towards AtsuDany relationship and very supportive#she would threaten anyone who says otherwise 😳🤍#alpha’s doodles#alpha’s art

Soooooo lately ya girl here has been running into a lot of writing issues so I gave something a try...BACK TO BASICS FOR WHAT I ORIGINALLY MADE THIS BLOG FOR!!! First time I’ve written anything for my favorite Tsundere in a while. Enjoy!! Just more of my own self indulgent writing while I have no requests.
“Sooooo, guess who I just heard from.”
Shin glanced up from his book with his usual blank expression, “Why not just tell me?”
Mira smiled and rolled her eyes slightly, “My parents. They called and asked me to come over for dinner for my sister's birthday this weekend.” She stated, plopping on the couch next to him.
Mirdorima raised an eyebrow giving her an intrigued look, “This is the first time they've wanted you over since we've been together nanodayo.”
Mira hummed in agreement leaning into his side, naturally causing him to blush like always.
“Are you going?”
Mira shook her head, “Probably not.”
“Why not?”
“Shin, my family and I haven't gotten along in years. I've tried going over a few times and it always ends in a fight.”
She ignored the look he gave her in favor of playing with his fingers, a habit she picked up on when he still tapped them.
“Mira, they're still your family nanodayo. We've been together for nearly 3 years and I don't recall you seeing them at all.”
“Not true, I've seen my brother.”
“Mira.”
“Look, I don't want to go because I don't want to fight and that's exactly what will happen. Especially going now.”
He gave Mira a slight confused look, “What does that mean?”
She sighs turning to face him, “We've been together for about 3 years and aren’t engaged, I'm perfectly with how things have been going but my parents are incredibly judgmental and will nag and question why. There's also the fact that I’m 2 years older than you. And even though it’s incredibly stupid, my parents will not agree with the fact that I'm with someone younger than me. And to top all of that off I'm pregnant out of wedlock, big no no to my parents. We also fight about my brother everytime I'm there. I guess they invited him too so this is going to be twice the chaos.”
Midorima adjusted his glasses looking down at her, “I understand these situations can be uncomfortable, but they're still your family and you haven't seen them in years. For all you know they may have changed from the last time you saw them.”
Mira halfheartedly glared at him and sighed realizing this wasn't going anywhere, “You aren't letting this go until I agree to go are you?”
“I don't intend to.”
“Fine. But if I have to deal with them you're coming with me.”
He turned his full attention to her, “What! Why am I involved in this?”
“You got involved when you bugged me into going. And besides, as you've said, we've been together for 3 years, and you've yet to meet my family.”
If looks could kill Mira would be dead right now, multiple times over.
“You'll see why I don't get along with them and I promise you'll never end up going with them again and you won't bug me into it.”
Midorima lets out a sigh leaning back into his seat, “I suppose. When are we supposed to be there?”
“Saturday at 5.”
“Remind me again why we're here?” Mira groaned as they pulled up in front of her parents house. She ignored the slightly surprised look that snuck his way to his face. She’d given him warning that her family was pretty well off.
He recovered quickly enough, “Because they're your family nanodayo.”
Mira rolled her eyes trying to mentally prepare herself for the interaction tonight. They climbed out of the car and started making their way up to the house. Mira spotted her brother coming up the sidewalk and waved.
“So you decided to come too huh.” Kenjuro said, returning the gesture.
“Not really, Shin forced me into it. I'm kinda surprised you came though.”
He shrugged, “Boyfriend forced me to. He offered to come for moral support but you and I both know that that would have been a really bad idea.”
“How’s Reo-chan doing?” Mira asked as they started walking up the sidewalk to the house.
“Good. I watched him play basketball with his old team from high school. So that was kinda exciting .”
They finally reached the door and stood awkwardly glancing at each other until Midorima gently nudged her forward.
“Ok ok sheesh.”
Mira knocked on the door secretly hoping that her parents would ignore them and not answer….sadly that did not happen. Much to her dismay her sister Aika answered the door.
“Hey Kenjuro, Mira.” Aika greeted them with a fake sweet smile.
“Hey Aika, happy birthday.”
Mira slipped past her with Kenjuro and toed her my shoes off pulling Midorima in behind her.
“Hello Mira, Kenjuro. We're glad you could make it.” Her parents appeared at the door to greet them
“Hey mom, hey dad.” Mira forced a smile.
“Who is your guest Mira?”
“Oh, right, Um, mom dad, this is Midorima Shintarou, my boyfriend. Shin, these are my parents.”
“It's nice to meet you Hashigawa-San.” Midorima politely greeted her parents.
“The pleasure is ours. Please right this way. Dinner is almost ready.”
Everyone started filing into the dining room, Mira and Midorima following behind last.
“I don't understand your concern. Your parents seem rather pleasant.” He mumbled quietly so only Mira could hear it.
“Oh, just wait for dinner. That's usually when the show starts.”
They all took a seat at the table, Kenjuro sitting as far as possible from their parents. Which left Mira and her sister to sit by them. Midorima sat next to Mira starting to notice the awkward atmosphere.
“So Mira. It's been a while since we've last spoken. What have you been up to?” Her father asked after a few moments of silence.
Mira hesitated a second before preparing to answer, this most likely this wasn’t going to go well.
“Working mostly, I just finished up art school not that long ago so I've been working freelance for a while. Making films for tourist companies, helping design Billboards, things like that.”
Her parents stayed quiet before turning their attention to Midorima.
“Midorima-San, may I ask what you do for a living?”
“I am going into the medical field. I'm currently working on my internship at the hospital.” Midorima straightened up answering.
Mira’s father nodded, “Then a man as logical as you, you can't support this crazy dream of hers.”
Midorima froze and glanced at Mira before answering, “It's her decision to make and if it's something that she feels strongly about then naturally she has my support.”
Her father was about to say something when he was cut off, “Now now dear, we're trying to have a nice civilized dinner tonight. Ok, this is a discussion we can have another time.”
Mira quickly turned her attention back to her food to avoid more questions. It worked for a while. Although this point Midorima was very uncomfortable. Kenjuro followed Mira’s lead but he's usually safe from questions. Their parents hate the fact that he's gay so they usually don't even acknowledge that part of his life.
“Mira.”
Mira looked up from her plate to see her mom holding the wine bottle out to her.
“Oh no thank you mom. I'm good.”
Aika snorted across the table, “wow, you of all people are turning down alcohol?”
Mira rolled her eyes, “do you really want to go there Aika?”
She shrugged, “I'm just saying for a while here sobriety was not your strong suit,” Mira shot a glare at her across the table, “oops sorry, did your boyfriend not know about that?”
“Do mom and dad know you've been sneaking into the liquor cabinet since you were like 14?” Mira shot right back at her.
Of course he knows, he helped her get her act cleaned up. Still a rather sensitive topic right now.
“Ok that's enough you two.”
Mira rolled her eyes at her dads warning, ready to leave. On top of the unpleasant conversation, the constant nausea from the morning sickness was rough on her today.
“Mira, you ok?” Kenjuro asked, starting to notice her discomfort.
She just nodded waiting for the nausea to subside, “Yeah, stomach is just a little upset.”
Naturally Aika didn't seem to miss a thing.
“Oh my god you're pregnant aren't you?”
Mira immediately tensed up, hoping to completely avoid this topic, “What are you talking about?”
“You aren’t drinking which is pretty out of the ordinary for you, you’re randomly sick and I’ve noticed the weight gain.” Aika quickly insinuated.
Mira didn't answer, deciding instead just to get up and get ready to leave. Midorima grabbed her hand to stop her, it seems like he has other plans.
“They were going to eventually find out Mira.” He said, looking up at her.
“Is that a confirmation?” Her father looked back and forth between them waiting for an answer.
Mira sighs, “Yeah dad, it is. I'm pregnant.”
Neither of the parents said anything right away. The tension gathering in the air was enough to show that this news was about to be either very well accepted or very poorly.
“We had the perfect life laid out for you. All you had to do was do as you were told and follow it.” Her father started to lecture, “First you turn down one of the best universities in Japan, and then rather than going to any university at all for a real career, you start to follow this ridiculous idea at some art school, and now you're 23 and pregnant. You couldn't have at least been decent enough to get married before spreading your legs for the first guy to take interest in you?!”
For the first time in an argument with them, Mira was speechless. Her father certainly had a tendency to be cruel, but that was low even for him. He continued yelling, Kenjuro and Aika eventually getting involved in the argument. Mira started to tune out the yelling. This whole night has done nothing but stress her out, and stress is not good for her right now. She felt a sharp pain rip through her abdomen and lower back which snapped her back to reality and the current argument at hand.
“I don't understand where I went wrong with the two of you. My son is a faggot and my daughter is a who-”
“That's enough,” Mirodrima said sternly, “I understand you don't agree with Mira’s life choices. But you cannot control her. She is an adult and it's still her decision to make. As for her being pregnant. No it's not ideal timing right now. My parents were rather disappointed as well.
We’re not married, and I’m only 21 years old and in medical school while starting this family, but we’re doing it. And my parents have never once referred to myself or Mira in such a derogatory manner.”
“Shintarou.” Mira grabbed his hand and squeezed to get his attention.
He crouched by her side, “What's wrong?”
“Can we go? I'm starting to cramp badly and I'm just ready to go home.” She whined starting to stand up.
“Yeah let's go, but I'm going to call your doctor to make sure that things are ok before we go home.”
He helped her stand up and started walking with her to the front door. He occasionally glared back behind them to make sure their family got the hint to leave them alone. Kenjro followed behind them to the car. Midorima helped her into the passenger seat taking her keys to drive.
“Feel better sis, call me later so I know things are ok.”
Kenjuro closed the door and then went around to talk to Midorima who was on the phone. Once he hung up he turned his attention to Kenjuro to talk to him before climbing into the car.
“How are you feeling? Are you still in pain?”
She shook her head, “No, it stopped for now. I just feel really sick now.”
He nodded and started the car. The ride home was fairly silent as he focused on the road and Mira focused on not throwing up. He pulled up to their apartment and he quickly came around to her side in case she needed help getting inside.
“Your doctor said that as long as you aren't bleeding and you don't continue to be in pain that you should be ok. Sometimes some cramping isn’t uncommon, especially in stressful situations. But if they start again she wants us to come immediately,” He explained while they were settling in the bedroom, “so if you're in pain like that again I don't care what time it is wake me up and we’ll go ok.”
Mira nodded changing into one of his shirts to sleep.
“Why do you insist on stealing my clothes all the time, you have your own dresser full of them.” He grumbled and changed as well.
“Oh stop whining,” She teased looking back at him, “I only steal your shirts and it's only for bed. Besides you never wear these.”
He grumbled under his breath again while he settled in bed. Mira crawled in next to him and curled up into his side. He's finally used to cuddling with her...it only took him forever to do so. He turned on the lamp on his side of the bed signaling that he planned on reading for a bit before bed.
“Don't fall asleep with your glasses on again.” Mira said rolling over to turn off the light.
He scoffed, “that was once.”
She chuckled, situating herself into a comfortable position to drift off. Mira was nearly asleep when Midorima poked her in her back to get her attention.
“Hmm? What's up?” She rolled over and looked at him.
“What your parents said earlier, it's bothering me.”
She sighed and sat up, “Just ignore it. Don't ever let anything they say bother you. Like you saw they're a bunch of judgmental assholes.”
He shook his head, “Nothing like that. They aren't bothering me. It just has me thinking. Are you really ok with how things are going?”
She cocked an eyebrow at his question, “I told you earlier I was. I mean, so long as you aren't planning on taking off on me anytime soon I'm perfectly fine with how we're doing ok.”
He nodded, setting his book aside, “we should go to sleep.”
Mira leaned over and kissed Midorima before laying back down, “Goodnight Shin.”
Midorima returned the kiss and put his book away before laying down and wrapping his arm around her, “Goodnight Mira.”

halcyon days
Summary: The sea rages as it yearns for its lover, but for one fortnight each year, it's perfectly still. [SasuSaku, Mythical!AU]
FFN, AO3
AN: I wrote this story a long while ago, but got around to editing it recently while shifting my work to AO3, so decided to give it one more chance on here.
x
I sit on the warm, white sand and watch my mother and father embrace moments before my father is to embark on a sea voyage. She softly kisses his cheek and he offers her a reassuring smile as he walks back to the dock, where countless men work on countless ships, inspecting every nook and crevice to ensure that the vessel is ready for the sea.
My mother joins the rest of the women as they all wave their hands in goodbyes and shout good wishes. It is only an empty ritual though, everyone knows that for fourteen days around the winter solstice the sea is absolutely calm and still. Only a gentle sea breeze races across the water’s surface, filling the sails of the ships and spraying droplets of water into the air where they catch the rays of the sun and explode into iridescent colors.
A legend dictates that any man who sets sail between the seven days before the winter solstice and the seven days after would find his way back to his lover's arms unharmed, which is why my people chose this day to embark on a voyage.
But it's not like they could have chosen any other day. For these fourteen days the sea is calm, but for the rest of the year, it rages. Mother says the sea is clawing at the land in longing, because something it loves lives here. Tide after tide attack the shore with such ferocity that it is impossible to dwell anywhere near the sea.
Which is why my tribe lives in the very heart of wave country, far away from the enraged sea, and only travel down here once a year. The beach is barren and soulless, save for one house over the low cliff.
My eyes trail away from the departing seamen and glance over to my left, where the old man who lives in the cliff-top abode is sitting on a boulder, something close to relief reflected on his face.
He's been living in that hut for more years than I've been born, but somehow the waves never seem to touch his little home.
I've seen him walking along the beach before, with an uchiwa fan sewn onto the back of his Yukata. I recognize it, it's the emblem of the Uchiha tribe, the fire wielders from the land of leaves, so why did this old man reside in wave country?
I see grandma Ino slowly walking towards me, and I make up my mind to ask her about the mysterious old man. She seems about as old as he does, perhaps she has some answers.
It takes another few moments for her old, frail knees to carry her to the spot where I am sitting, and as soon as she reaches she settles down at a spot behind me and weaves her fingers through my hair.
I inherited her long, pale blonde hair and she loved to weave it into elaborate braids, while I enjoy the welcome pressure of her fingertips on my scalp. She sets to work, parting and twisting my hair, and I finally ask her the question that had been ricocheting inside my head.
"Ino baa-chan," I say, "Who is that man sitting on the rocks over there? The one who lives by the sea?"
Even though I cannot see her face, I know she is smiling and I can hear it in her voice when she speaks.
"Mira, did you know, there was once a time that the sea was calm and quiet all year round?"
I'm a little annoyed, because she doesn't answer my question, but her words have piqued my curiosity. "Really, baa-chan? This fearsome sea?" I ask.
"Aa," she says, and I can tell she is still smiling "This very sea."
"What changed, then?"
As soon as I said those words, her hands became still, and I know she is going to tell me a story. I don’t not mind though, Ino baa-chan tells the best stories, so I remove my legs from underneath me, turn to face her, and sit down in a more comfortable, cross legged position.
She inhales deeply, and with a faraway look in her eyes, she begins...
x
A young woman sits on the rocks by the sea, looking out at the endless expanse of water before her. Her long coral hair cascades down her shoulders in soft waves as she rests her head in the palm of her hand and smiles softly.
The trance she is lost in is interrupted when she hears a distressed mewling in the distance. White dress flowing in the wind, she gets up and breaks into a run towards the sound, coming to halt when she sees a dolphin beached on the shore and a man hovering over it.
She opens her mouth to yell at him, and ask him to stop what he was doing, before promptly shutting it close when she realizes that he's trying to drag the fish back into the water, not to the land.
Quickly, she rushes over to him, and they both heave and grunt as they try to push the beast back into the sea. The man's eyes widen in surprise when the tide reaches in farther into the shore and takes the dolphin with it as it returns to the sea.
They watch as the dolphin wades through the shallow water until it finally reaches the deep, and then swims away in search of its pod.
"Thank you for helping her,” she says, smiling sweetly, “What's your name?", but it takes him a long minute to grasp what she has spoken because he is stunned by the changing colors of her eyes, every single one of them a different shade of green. When his senses return to him, he covers his surprise with a cough and then answers, "Aa. Something that belongs to the sea must return to the sea. I could not watch it suffer." he pauses, "My name is Sasuke."
Her smile widens a little and she moves closer to him. Standing on her toes, she presses her lips to his in a soft, chaste kiss and his eyes fall close at the delightful pressure. When he opens them again, she is gone, and there's only the taste of salt on his lips.
.
.
The man with the dark hair and darker eyes returns to the same spot the next day, a little while before the sun immerses itself into the sea, and waits in hopes of seeing the roseate woman from yesterday.
He waits and waits until the sea swallows the sun and the sky turns a rich black, punctuated with stars glowing dimmer than the green eyes of the mysterious woman. He has almost abandoned hope and is about to return to his lodgings, when the sea on the far end of the beach swirls into a tiny whirlpool and out emerges the woman from yesterday.
He watches in awe as the water parts and makes way for her to come to the shore, and before he can ever recall commanding them to move, his feet are shuffling to the woman who was born from the sea.
He approaches her, and if she has noticed his presence, she doesn't acknowledge it. Caught off guard by her dismissal, he ponders how to approach her.
"Hello..." he begins somewhat unsurely. She stills, hands that were untangling seaweed from her hair falling to her sides, as she stares at him dumbstruck.
"Y-you can see me?" she says, sounding surprised.
Frowning, he counters. "Should I not be able to?"
She laughs a little, and his heart flutters at the sound. "Most people can't. I am only seen by those looking for me." she says, looking into his eyes.
His frown only deepens, and she looks like she understands the questions swimming through his mind. Grabbing hold of his left hand, she brings it to her chest. His eyes widen when instead of a heartbeat, he can feel the vibrations of waves thundering within her rib cage.
"I am a sea goddess." she says with a smile.
.
.
The goddess and the man spend the rest of the night talking away as the goddess explains to him how her mother is the ruler of the oceans, and how her and each of her six sisters rule a portion of the seas. He wonders if he ought to be more surprised at this discovery of a whole new world, but something deep-seated within him believes every word she says without question.
They talk until the sky is streaked red and the goddess tells him she must return to the sea. Standing up, she turns to him and says "Goodbye, Sasuke-kun. I really did enjoy our time together, I hope we can do this again some day." Turning around, she begins walking back into the sea.
"Wait!" his voice calls her, laced with slight panic at the realization that despite talking all night he was still missing a crucial piece of information, "You never gave me your name" she stops in her stride and turns to look at him.
"For when we meet again." he adds.
Her eyes twinkle as she answers. "Sakura."
.
.
They begin to meet often after that night. They would lie on the soft sand and talk under the cover of the stars as the sea goddess played a beautiful symphony with the sound of the waves.
More often than not, it would be her who did all the talking. She would tell him about life underwater, the conflicts among the gods, stories from the wars she had witnessed in her centuries of existence. But every now and then, he'd share pieces of his life with her too and she would greedily absorb every piece of information he would impart.
He told her about his hometown in the land of leaves and how he was living with his brother's friend in wave country to help him build a bridge, he told her about his childhood, his family, he speaks with a passion about the fire she had been afraid of all her life, and about the flowers she was named after.
He was surprised to learn that despite being named Sakura, she had never actually seen cherry blossoms in bloom. "I can't stray too far from the sea." she told him, "but I hope to see them someday."
He nods.
A few weeks later, the bridge is built and his work in wave country is done. On his last night in wave country, as they sit on the beach, they don't speak a word. Somewhere in the middle of the night, he takes his hand in hers and they sit there watching the waves roll in.
When the sun begins to return to its place in the sky, she finally turns to him and speaks. "I'm afraid I might be in love with you."
For a very long time he is silent, and she feels her heart sink like a stone in the water. Just before he gets up to leave, he tightly squeezes her small hand.
"Do not be afraid, for I think I might be in love with you too."
.
.
That night is not the last they see of each other. At every chance he got, the fire heir would run to wave country to spend a few days wrapped in the arms of the sea goddess.
In the spring he brought her a book filled with the stories of the land, and a single cherry blossom flower pressed in between.
In his absence, the goddess shares her loneliness with the god of the wind, Naruto-kami. Legend says that the ruler of the skies was also once in love with a mortal, blind woman, and so could sympathize with her pain.
He could never marry her because of the wrath it would incur from heaven, so he loved her in secret. He fathered a child with the marble eyed woman, and the child was born with the same white eyes as his mother but with vision that surpassed any mortal. His unique vision was carried on by his progeny and gave rise to the famed Hyuga clan.
After the woman succumbed to mortality, the wind god never wed in all the centuries that followed.
.
.
The sea goddess and her lover steal many nights and days together, basking in each other's love, but a storm begins to brew in the sea.
The eldest sister of the goddess learns about her affair with the mortal and is enraged. Unable to stand the unnatural connection of a mortal and an immortal, she informs the heavens of her sister's misdeeds.
A summit of the gods is organized at once to address her crimes.
"What you are doing is unacceptable!" the overseer of the council tells her, "It simply cannot be!"
But the goddess stands defiant. "I love him" she says, "and that will not change."
"A mortal and an immortal are not destined to be together, such is the law." he insists and the goddess watches the wind god standing behind the council of gods wince as if in pain.
She can see the pain that reflects in his cerulean blue eyes and she knows it's not a pain she would be able to bear.
"Then, gods, I give up my immortality." she declares.
Gasps echo all across the room as the gods break into hushed whispers.
"Tsunade! Do you hear your daughter? Will you allow this?" the ruler of heaven barks at the queen of the sea.
The mighty sea goddess stares into her daughter's defiant eyes for a long time, her inner conflict betrayed on her pained face. Then, she sighs — "All I want is my daughter's happiness, and if she has found it in a mortal then so be it."
Sakura looks at her mother's eyes and hopes the unshed tears in her eyes will convey her apology as Tsunade leaves her throne and chants a spell. The next instant there is a blinding pain wracking every inch of the younger goddess's body as she feels her soul being incinerated and remodeled again. Through the pain she opens her eyes and glances at Naruto, his eyes a mix of pride and regret, and she knows she has made the right choice.
The pain is eventually too much to bear and she feels her consciousness slipping. When she awakens, she is at the beach where she met her lover.
She extends her hand to the sea, and it does not respond.
.
.
She spends the next week waiting for her lover to return. An old widow grants her shelter, and Sakura visits the beach every night anticipating Sasuke's return.
The night they are united, she quickly runs into his arms and buries her face in his sturdy chest.
"Sakura? What's wrong?" he asks, his voice laced with worry.
Breathless, she tells him about all the things that had conspired, down to the ultimatum that heaven presented her with. His eyes widen and he holds his breath as he waits to hear her choice. Wordlessly, she takes his palm and presses it to her chest, just like she did when they met for the second time.
He hears her heart thrumming beneath his touch.
.
.
He sends a messenger back to his hometown to convey he would be late in returning this time, and spends the next few weeks by his lover's side.
They stay at a local inn and every morning he would disappear, and return to her at night tired and weary. She questioned where he would go, but he only asked her to be patient. At the end of three weeks, he took her back to the beach and showed her a small wooden house near the edge of the cliff, overlooking the water.
"I built this. For us." he said.
With tears streaking her face she wraps her arms around him and mouths a question into his chest. "How can we stay here? Your life is in the land of leaves."
"My life," he holds her equally tightly, "is where you are. And your life is where the sea is."
She sobs in his embrace.
"I don't know how to repay you." she says, her voice hoarse.
"Marry me."
.
.
They decide on a spring wedding. Two weeks before their wedding, he tells her he must visit home one last time to inform his family and to take care of some business.
He returns to wave country two days before the wedding. It's a simple, short ceremony and that night when they retire to their house by the sea, he gives her a hollow quartz necklace with a liquid inside.
"It's the essence of cherry blossoms. You will always smell like them." he tells her.
Smiling a brilliant, blinding smile, she lets him clasp the necklace around her neck.
.
.
Peace reigns over the couple as they share three years of marital bliss, their love for each other only growing with each day that passed.
But things took a turn for the worse when Sasuke returned home one day clutching a piece of paper in his hand and something akin to desperation swimming in his eyes.
"What is it? What's wrong, Sasuke-kun?" Sakura is immediately filled with worry.
"It's a letter from home." He explains "My brother is missing. He went to the Ame islands, but he has not returned. I must go find him."
As soon as he finishes his revelation, Sakura shakes her head violently. "No, no, no, no." she insists. "You can't go to Ame. My sister rules those seas, Sasuke, she's violent and she hates me. You won't make it back alive."
But even as she says those words, she knows they will have no effect. Sasuke's love for his brother was as boundless as her sister's hate for her. He would stop at nothing to save him, she knows, so she asks for something different.
"Take me with you. Please. You cannot leave me here." she begs.
"No, Sakura. I won't put you in any needless danger. I will go alone." his answers decisively.
She cries and begs and pleads, but the fire wielder is resolute. For the first time in all the time she had known him, when he held her close to stop her tears, she found no comfort in his arms.
.
.
Sasuke's ship sets sail three days from that day, and until that time they spend every waking moment wrapped up in each other.
When the day finally arrives, she kisses him softly on his lips, wishes him well, and folds her hands to utter the same prayer to the sea that people used to recite to her years ago.
.
.
The sailing is smooth for most part of the journey, and he thinks perhaps he'll actually make it back to the arms of his beautiful wife, but things begin to turn sinister as the ship approaches the territory of the Sea Goddess's eldest daughter.
Large waves slam against the hull of the ship, and the waters around it begin to swirl, first lazily, then with rigor, trapping the vessel in a massive whirlpool. All men aboard the ship cling to its sides, holding on for dear life as it sways violently, mouthing prayers to the sea goddess. But there is only one name on Sasuke's lips.
"Sakura..."
A mammoth wave slams into the side of the ship, destroying its left completely, tossing the men overboard into the waiting waters. They collide with each other and the ship’s debris as the whirlpool twirls them around violently.
There's a loud roar of gushing blood in Sasuke's ears and a fire growing in his lungs as he tries to keep his head above the water. There's a sting of salt along his left thigh and he thinks there's a deep gash there left by one of the ship's sphincters, but the pain fades into insignificance as he imagines his wife standing on the shores, awaiting his return.
He fights with renewed vigor, but in his heart he knows this is the end. He nears the center of the whirlpool and immediately feels a strong tug trying to pull him under. Expending every last ounce of energy he fights the suction, but he's only one man against a mighty sea and the water overwhelms him, engulfing him completely.
Immediately, the waters on the surface lapse back into stillness. But the fire in his lungs has spread to every single cell in his body and Sasuke knows he will not see the shore again.
Sinking slowly, he closes his eyes and says a prayer to the queen of the sea.
"Let my body wash to the shore. Let my wife not wait an eternity in vain..."
In the heavens, Tsunade let a solitary tear glide down the curve of her cheek as she willed the currents to carry the body of the man who loved her daughter back to her footsteps.
.
.
Sakura is in restless slumber when her eyes shoot open. The moon is missing from the sky but the tide is high, and her heart is beating wildly in her chest like a panicked animal in a cage. Her breath comes out in rapid succession and she knows, she just knows something has gone terribly wrong.
In the middle of the night, she runs down the rocky path to the beach, unmindful of the cold wind flapping her hair and nightdress around. She runs and runs and runs without pausing to breathe and only slows down when she sees the outline of a body near the water.
"No. Oh gods, NO!" she says as she picks up pace again.
Her knees fold underneath her as she lowers herself near the limp body. Stretching her hand, she turns his face towards her, and all the tears that had been gathering in her eyes since she awakened trickled down like waterfalls as her eyes recognized the face she woke up next to for years.
Holding his face to her chest, a broken cry erupts from her throat.
.
.
The first rays of the sun found Sakura still on the beach, clutching the body of her beloved, chanting his name like a mantra.
Her voice begins to crack and her face becomes stiff from dried up tears. She looks to the skies and screams,
"Please, give Sasuke back to me. I beg thee!"
But Sakura too was once an immortal, and she knows that the price of life can only be paid in kind. Wiping the remains of the tears on her cheeks, she stands up.
“Return my husband’s, and I shall sacrifice myself to the sea I was born from.” she says, determination ringing in her voice.
She glances at the lifeless form of her lover at her feet and she wants to bend down and kiss him but she knows that the taste of his lips would shatter her resolve, so with one final look, she takes a step towards the sea.
Placing on foot after the other she lets the familiar waters pull her in, and when the water is almost to her neck, she turns to see her husband beginning to stir at the shore.
Smiling sadly, she sends an apology his way, and lowers her head into the sea.

Ino baa-chan becomes quiet for a long time and I ponder the story as we sit in shared silence.
She breaks my train of thought when she speaks again, "Since that day, the tides became fierce, pounding onto the shore as though the water goddess’s spirit was trying to return to her lover."
She paused before continuing.
"The heavens were awed to witness a love so pure that in his last moments, the man only thought of his wife, and his beautiful lover who adored him enough to make the ultimate sacrifice. To honor their love, the rest of the gods allowed Naruto-kami to turn the spirit of the sea goddess into a sea breeze so she could return to the land and reunite with her lover for one fortnight each year.
And that's why, young Mira, for the entire year the sea aches to be with her beloved, but during the fourteen days in which they are united, the sea is calm."
I look out to the sea which is completely still under the sun, feel the light ocean breeze running through my hair while her words sink in. I smile-
"That's a really good story, Ino baa-chan. One of your best."
She breaks into a wide smile when she hears my words.
"Oh no, my child. It's not a story, it's very much real." she says, eyes twinkling with mischief.
I look away from the sea and turn my attention back to her as I laugh. "What do you mean it's real, baa-chan? It's only a legend." I say, waving my hand in disbelief.
"It most certainly is not." she bends closer to me and speaks into my ear, "Tell me Mira, what do you smell in the air?"
I'm a little surprised by her question but I humor her anyway and breathe in deeply. "Cherry Blossoms." I say.
As soon as the words leave my mouth, my eyes widen. There are no cherry blossoms in wave country.
My head reels as I recall the details of the story baa-chan told me, and suddenly realization strikes. Getting up so fast that my head spins, I look at the old man who lives on the cliff sitting on the rocks near the sea. And sure enough, I saw it-
Hidden in broad daylight, visible only to those who were looking for her, a woman with long pink hair pressed snugly into his side, her contented smile mirroring the one he wore on his lips.

Just Friends?
WORD COUNT : 1.7K
GENRE : Fluff
WARNING : none?
NOTE : if any of you have seen 2 broke girls, this is vaguely inspired from that one scene in season 1 with Johnny. i won’t spoil further.
Mirae had always thought she was lowkey blessed with everything around her. She had been bullied in kindergarten for being tiny - a sad eyed baby named Donghun protected her and stuck with her. And stuck with her till university, 15 years later. She went to dorms, he rented an apartment, and took in a housemate a month later who instantly clicked with him named Park Junhee and she spent her first year vehemently hating the dorms. She also got scarily well with Junhee to the point of finding Donghun sulking way too many times about Junhee stealing his best friend away (Mirae and Junhee were in the same literature department when Mirae was majoring and Junhee was minoring and both Junhee and Donghun’s major was music production).
One year later, as much as she would have loved to move in with her best friend, or the love of her life as she liked to call him, she could not. So she looked for housemates and found the perfect house in the building next to Donghun’s and now loves them to death. They were one year younger than her, freshmen who had moved to Seoul together, childhood friends and on the first meeting Mirae had decided she would fight whoever even dared to make them sad.
She knew moving without telling the older men was a bad idea but she knew they would overreact - which she was proven right with when she went over to their apartment and told them she moved out of the dorm. They were happy until they heard she moved in with not one but 2 male housemates and then they lost it.
After a lot of yelling, threats and are you crazy?’s , they finally calmed down enough to agree to meet her two housemates - Kang Yuchan and Kim Byeongkwan. With the strong belief that ended up proving right, Donghun and Junhee ended up liking the two freshmen so much that the strict front they had decided to keep in front of them dissolved in less than 5 minutes.
They all ended up being close friends who would weekly trash one of the houses in the name of movie and game nights and they even added the soft spoken shy neighbour of Donghun and Junhee - Kim Sehyoon.
It was at one of those night-ins at Mirae’s where Junhee was cooking and she was helping him when it happened.
Junhee was telling her a story - all with his exaggerated gestures which she was thoroughly enjoying when suddenly he pointed a celery near her face and asked, “so what is your opinion over this Miss. Mirae?”
Her brain short circuited - that was the only logical explanation she had for what happened next. With maintaining eye contact with Junhee as he waited for her to answer, she leaned down slowly and bit the celery as she saw his eyes widen and saw him gulp audibly. They kept on staring at each other as she slowly chewed the celery, Junhee opening his mouth finally to speak when chan loudly called them.
“Noona! Hyung! What's taking you so long?”
And with that the moment dissipated.
For the next three days, Mirae avoided Junhee as much as she could (because she was a coward) and only met him with someone else besides her. 3 days later she was summoned by Donghun to their apartment and she took a breath of relief when she went in and Donghun said Junhee was out.
They were drinking coffee on the couch when Donghun cleared his throat and turned to look at her.
“What happened between you and Junhee?” he asked and she choked on her coffee. After rubbing her back for a couple of seconds, he repeated his questions and she groaned.
“Mirae, Junhee has been sulking and whining to me about you avoiding him and I'm tired. So you are going to tell me what happened.” Donghun said as he stared her down with his arms crossed across his chest and she felt herself grow smaller in his gaze.
“Why don't you ask him?” she murmured and he sighed.
“All he does is turn red in his face, stammer and leave and i would like an actual response to my questions.”
At that even Mirae turned red and looked away and Donghun cursed.
“I'm not letting you leave if you don't tell me. And soon Junhee will be back so.” Donghun said with a smirk as he leaned back and saw a panicked expression fill out Mirae’s face.
A final look of resignation came over and Donghun knew he won.
“I fucked up.” she finally said and Donghun raised an eyebrow and she stared at him.
“I've known you for 15 years Mirae and I know how you exaggerate stuff. I'm gonna need a lot more than that to decide whether you actually fucked up or not.” Donghun said and Mirae rolled her eyes.
“We were cooking at Chan’s right? So we were talking and he brought this celery in front of me..” she said and Donghun nodded.
“You didn't bite it right?”
“I bit it!” Mirae said and Donghun laughed loudly while Mirae groaned.
“ i can't believe you actually did that!” Donghun exclaimed between his laughters and she hit him with a cushion as she got up and went to the kitchen mumbling.
“So what now?” Donghun asked as he followed her till there, still slightly laughing but stopping when she glared at him.
“I just keep wanting to kiss him and think of kissing him and I don't want to ruin our friendship and it's just very annoying okay?” she said and Donghun sighed.
Before he could speak anything though, they heard the main door unlocking and Junhee calling for Donghun while Mirae panicked in the kitchen.
“Quick, go hide in my room , I'll help you leave after he goes into his room.” Donghun said and Mirae ran to his room.
“Junhee-ya!” Donghun called the other to the kitchen who peeked in.
“Did you meet Mirae today?” he asked and Junhee pouted.
“No hyung. I don't think she even went to the class today.” he said with a pout and Donghun really wanted to hit these two.
Knowing from Junhee’s lack of alcohol tolerance and frequency in drinking, Donghun was very aware of the budding crush of his roommate on his best friend. And this was his chance.
“Junhee-ah can you pick a blanket from my room? Let’s watch a movie.” Donghun said and Junhee nodded, happily going to Donghun’s room.
As soon as Junhee entered the room, he heard someone ask, “Did Junhee go to his room?” and he looked up to come face to face with Mirae who looked equally confused to see him. They also heard the room door close and lock and they both looked at it, wide-eyed.
“TALK ABOUT STUFF!” they heard Donghun yelling from outside and both avoided each other’s eyes.
“Talk about what hyung!” Junhee yelled back and they heard Donghun groan from outside.
“MIRAE TALK ABOUT THE CELERY AND KISS THING, JUNHEE TALK ABOUT THE CRUSH THING!” They heard Donghun yell and they both flushed pretty quickly after hearing him.
A silence prevailed in the room for a short while until Junhee cleared his throat.
“About the celery thing.. It's okay there's nothing awkward between us so let’s just go back to how we were huh?” Junhee mumbled and Mirae would have agreed had she not heard Donghun yelling about the crush part to Junhee. From what she could figure out, there was a probability that Junhee had a crush on her and she almost wanted to laugh at themselves because they were totally meant to be. They were both cowards. And it was clear from how Junhee was trying to preserve the friendship - he had totally missed the kiss part. So she was going to take a chance.
“We are not gonna move on from the celery thing Junhee.” she said as she took a few steps towards him.
“I can't stop thinking about that time - what could have happened had Chan not interrupted? Huh Junhee?” she said as he gulped visibly.
“N-nothing.” he stuttered and she chuckled.
“We would have kissed Junhee. Tell me Junhee, would you hate the idea of kissing me?” she asked as she was inches away from his face, standing on her tip-toes and trying to get him to accept.
“No! Obviously not Mirae!” Junhee siad, instinctively his hands coming up on her waist as she smiled.
“Then what's stopping you?”
She reached forward to close to distance between them and felt his hands tighten on her waist as he deepened the kiss.
Standing in the middle of Donghun’s room with her hands in his hair and his on her waist, they kept kissing each other till they had to part for air. And when they did, they stood with their foreheads touching, breathing heavily and smiling stupidly.
“I’ve wanted to do that for so long.” Junhee mumbled against her cheeks as he leaned down to kiss her again gently.
“And you almost chose not to Park Junhee.” she said as she softly hit him on the chest and he laughed.
“Think Donghun will open the door now that we have sorted stuff?” he asked as he giggled and she shrugged.
“Lets try.” she said and they went to the door, ready to bang it till Donghun opened but they both stared at the door in disbelief as Junhee tried the doorknob and it opened.
“It wasn't locked?” she whispered and they both laughed even more as they left the room to stare at Donghun wearing his headphones and sitting on the couch.
He looked up at them as they came out of the room holding hands.
“You didn't lock the door?” Junhee said and Donghun smiled at them mischievously and said, “I was not going to force you to talk to something but I did want you to talk.”
Then he pointedly looked at their held together hands and smirked. “Guess it worked.” and they both looked away, smiling shyly.
“Some ground rules first.” Donghun said as he got up and stared the new couple down.
“No sex in this hosue. I have known her for 15 years and i DON'T want to know how she moans.”
By the time he ended his sentence, he was laughing loudly and the others were red in the face, screaming at him.
