~ Willow ~

Willow is the ranger of the Vert-Bolet Forest, as well as the guardian of the Gate to "L'entre-Monde". No doubt she will be around if you pass by, talking to the trees or smoking her pipe, her nose in the wind. Willow is friendly, very gentle, and curious about the world around her and its inhabitants. It was her love of nature and the flora and fauna of her world that pushed her to become a forest ranger, a mission that makes her very happy. She lives in a house near the hamlet of Vert-Bolet, on the edge of the forest. In addition to her mission as a forest ranger, she also enjoys cultivating her vegetable garden, picking berries, herbs, mushrooms... She is also an herbalist, a talent that could not be more important when it comes to creating remedies, concoctions and other poultices for sick or injured forest animals. She also likes to cook pies and tarts for her friends, or for visitors from other worlds who come to venture into the Vert-Bolet forest.

And she has a face! I’m really proud of this faceup- it’s not perfect, but I feel like I’ve improved on some of the things I really disliked about my first attempt.

World, meet Celia. I still haven’t decided what time period I want her to be inspired by- her hair is down because finding accurate historical wigs in BJD sizes is really hard, so it’ll have to be an “inspired by” situation.

I think maybe a fantasy pirate or steampunk look might suit her?

OK so. My mermaid came with these cute ear fins, right? But Mirwen doesn't have the magnets for them to keep them on.

So what did I do? Glue some in.

Only problem with that? Now the head doesn't close anymore.

So I grabbed my dreml and sanded some 'holes' into the backhead.

And now she can wear her ear pieces 🥰

And she looks fabulous in it.
