He draws you into his lap, cradling you protectively, caressing the side of your face with soft fingers. "You're far too pretty to cry, you know that?" He presses a chaste kiss against the top of your head, holding you tightly.

"You're far too angelic to be on earth," You reply, the ghost of a smile dancing across your lips, tears blurring your vision still.

Keonhee gently grabs your chin and tilts your head up to look you in the eyes. His irises are warm, the colour of melted chocolate, and it's yet another thing that makes you feel at home. "You've got it wrong. You're the angel, my love, and tears are much too human to fall from your eyes."

Very carefully, his finger sweeps a tear away from your cheek and you watch as he gently presses the water against the tearduct of his own eye. "There," he whispers, "now they're our tears."

You giggle softly, wrapping your arms around your wonderful partner.

"Ah-ah, I'm not done," he says with a dazzling smile. "Close your eyes."

You do so immediately, wondering exactly what Keonhee is up to.

He leans in, admiring your beauty, and very softly presses a kiss to each of your closed eyelids. "I love you so much, and I love your tears too."

You've never felt more at home as you do in that moment.
