After a lot of work and way too much procrastination, I finally present my favorite family of Nindroids! This is also the debut of my design for Seven. I plan to do more art of Zane, Pixal, and Seven doing wholesome family stuff, so expect that sometime in the future. I also have a few mini comics planned of Seven goofing off with her aunt and uncles. (Do you think she calls Wu grandpa?)

Okey so Cole and Jesse have a kid (which is super adorable) but do the others have kids of their own in legacyverse? Adopted, biological or true magical ways (ahem cam) Or do any o the ninja have a wedding in a sense, whether big or small ( cough jaya cough they deserve it cough)

As soon as the Overlord is dealt with, Jay is like, on the move to get married to Nya before more disaster drives them apart again. He's got a whole wedding planning book he's been hoarding in preparation for years, but ultimately does not have any preference to how big or small it is as long as it happens. So with Nya's consultation, they have a decently-sized ceremony traditional to the Archipelago, honoring Nya's water heritage. ...and then they vanish for weeks on their honeymoon.

Cole and Jesse plan to have a cozy, small wedding with just close friends and family until Lou is informed of the coming union and in a bid to help make it happen faster he single-handedly and very gladly offers to fund the wedding to far more extravagant proportions. Jesse's kind of into the fairy-tale wedding thing (and is pressured by his side of the family to go for it) but Cole still wants to keep things lowkey and intimate like they planned. Thus, to compromise, they have their unofficial fanciful wedding in West Haven with like, every person they've ever met...and their real wedding at the monastery, overseen by Wu~

Zane and Pixal, like Julien and Aurora, don't get married at all because they feel they don't really need to but instead have a small, private ceremony for themselves consisting of pledging themselves to each other...and no one else finds out it even happened until years later, but are respectful of their decisions and are happy for them regardless.

I'm not committed to any ideas for Kai yet but if he were to get married or anything similar he'd be the last to do so asdfhjkljhhghfdd. Not because he can't nor wouldn't commit but it's just such a big decision for himself and even if he's absolutely sure it's what he wants there's so much that can go wrong and getting married is like making a promise and you know how he feels about those so he'd probably have to work through a lot of thoughts first. ...And the idea of Skylor being the one to propose and Kai being the most flabbergasted, flustered, and pleased he's even been in his life is hilarious. And kind of heart-wrenching.

Mweeeeeh I do feel a touch hesitant to give anyone else kids because I'd hate to accidentally contradict something drastic down the line (I like to bend canon, not fully break it), buuuut on the other hand I have been playing around with the idea of Mini-Pix 7 (shortened to just 'Seven') becoming a full-fledged Pixane child. (I saw that one art on Valentine's Day and couldn't get it out of my head since aaaaaaa). Things may change if I ever decide to fully take the indulgent plunge, but for now, we're just stuck with the magic baby.

What if I take the most minor details from Ninjago and make them angsty af? What then?

(what if the reason Lloyd hasn't grown his hair out much in the last however many years, despite wanting to be more like Wu, is because he believes in like hair length being connected to like honor and stuff. So he's gonna keep cutting it until he feels worthy. Also just braids run in his family. The FSM had one, his uncle grew one, even his mom had a braid. The only one with no braid? Garmadon)

Side note Lloyd should have little mini braids in his hair like Hiccup from How to train your dragon.

It’s been ages since I made an entry here, so here’s a bit of an update.

Right now I’m working on designing and printing the support materials for an upcoming convention game of Pulp Alley. It will be a 6 (maybe 7) player game where the 3 “good” players are trying to find and rescue the heroine from the forces of evil - the remaining 3 or 4 players. There will be oodles of nasty surprises for the rescuers to deal with before trying to defeat the big mutha that holds our captured lady. Hopefully a tough - but win-able task!

Previously I had been cranking out a fair number of minis until I ran into a bit of a medical complication. I lost about a month of painting time while I dealt with the necessity of having a valve replacement in my Aorta. It was a bit scary beforehand, but my doctor gave me a lot of confidence in his skill and all went relatively easy. I had to take it easy for a couple of weeks, but that was no problem and now I’m back to normal and as ornery as ever!

i use ms paint over any other software nowadays for art, and with that i love looking at different versions (i use both xp and windows 7 paint usually) to see what tools are available and whatnot. so when i learned there was basically microsoft's own mini version of kid pix in their microsoft plus! for kids pack that was also just ms paint i was fucking ecstatic

it's a blast to use and all with very cheesy effects and clipart, but it not only lacks the shortcuts paint usually has (like ctrl + numpad +/- to increase/decrease brush sizes beyond presets) but has a particular feature where you can save palettes you were using for the current image and load them back in when you reopen it!!!!! like what the fuck why don't we have that in later versions of paint....
