(Does she have a birthday??? Whatever - what they would buy her for any occasion because I bet they would buy her presents all the time if they could)

He would try to buy her a set of books or her own datapad, but would be made fun of by the other members because "that's not a toy"

He would definitely find some sort of chemistry set and quietly observe her playing with it

He's not the type of guy to actually play with it and show her how to play with it, although he wants to step in when she "does it wrong"

He doesn't let Wrecker touch it even though he's intrigued by the chemical reactions

"Independent play and discovery are very important for children's development. I read it in (blah blah blah)"

Hunter

He would totally get her a little play set with dolls

A mini marauder-like ship and five little action figure clones with an extra little girl doll

He would definitely play house with her when he's not taking care of his other children he has the time

One time she got them all into the game and each of the members got to pretend to be the others

He would buy Omega some fidget toys because he thinks they're cool and will keep her busy

Hunter ends up finding them and showing Omega cool tricks with a yo-yo

Crosshair sneakily steals one and uses it when he gets anxious

Makoto Yuuki

Still loves trick or treating at his age and suggests wearing a couple’s costume this year

Even going to lengths of going to a party city and looking at his favorite video game characters costumes

It’s no wonder when the rest of Trickstar decided to join on what was supposed to be your date.

Makoto doesn’t mind but, his mood changes, thankfully at some point they decided to visit a friend’s home around the block, leaving you both alone.

He then invited you to his apartment, watching scary movies while sharing a blanket and snacks sounded like the ideal date

After some moments, you fell asleep on his shoulder as he kissed your forehead and slept with you

Koga Oogami

Since Undead was doing a small Live, a halloween special for the Ensemble Square, he invited you to join them, getting you a vip ticket to later on spend time together.

As the event reached it’s climax, they had a small reunion for the vip’s, as soon as you reached the room, Koga held your hand softly while smiling.

His eyes were on you during the rest of the night, your outfit made his heart beat, he couldn’t help but admire you even more

After a while of mingling with fans and his own bandmates, Koga craved some alone time with you, walking around the illuminated streets wasn’t uncommon for them

Koga placed your arm on his, making sure you felt safe around him

Throughout the night, before it struck 12am, it was always a tradition for him to kiss you in the course of it, in any special holiday, anniversary and even your birthday. Koga wants you to feel special and cared for in every aspect

Chiaki Morisawa

It’s certain that Ryūsetai most likely will make an act for their younger audiences in the same park as they’ve done all their previous shows

Chiaki is surprised when you arrived to help them get ready with makeup kits or helping out with their lines, he’s truly grateful to have someone like you in his life

While doing the mini show, his eyes were on you whenever he could, it gave him comfort. As soon as it ended, Chiaki couldn’t wait to hug you backstage, and he did, spinning you around while kissing you afterwards

He’s definitely exhausted after the entire thing but suggests going to a small party that Starmaker production held

His eyes contained so much tiredness that he began to sleep on your shoulder while standing up

That’s when you both decided to go home, shower and cuddle throughout the night

Shu Itsuki

He’s not into big halloween parties but, he’ll go if you attend and if you wear the matching outfits he prepared for months in advance

Every year he comes up with new themes and always wins the best costume award, it’s not shocking at all

Mademoiselle is usually in Shu’s arms during the night but will hand her at some point to you, admiring how gently you hold her, almost as if she was a fragile porcelain doll

Despite not celebrating halloween a lot, he’ll definitely give the best candy around his neighborhood, the kids are always excited to see Shu’s beautifully decorated house.

He’s intolerant towards kids, however he enjoys seeing the faces of happy, calm children complementing and saying how pretty his costume and home is

Mika regularly visits him in France, specifically when this holiday is around; hanging out with you two (mademoiselle included), gathering candy and having a wonderful time all together

Rinne Amagi

Undoubtedly he throws a halloween party in his dorm, booze included

Kanata and Hiyori invite some of their friends as well as Rinne, who had obviously invited their lovely partner to enjoy some quality time..perhaps even playing beer pong/truth or dare

He buys the costumes no one wants nor likes but always makes them look good somehow

There’s not a single moment where he parted his hands away from your body, holding your hand, waist or even carrying you at some point as a dare, while kissing you that is

Rinne is such a bold person, no matter if it’s a specific holiday or not, he’ll always be like that with you

Even after he’s drunk and everyone went home, he mumbles ‘I love you, Y/n’ so drunkly yet sweet, it’s almost sickening. The only thing he really wanted was to express how much he truly loves you, it’s no doubt what he says is the truth

Souma Kanzaki

Souma loves doing live shows and performing for an audience, no matter if it’s the day where you both had plans on going out, Souma wished the live could’ve been done some other day

He was so upset yet as soon as he saw your face in the crowd, a smile appeared, now happy yet nervous, Souma did his best for you

His eyes were watery, it looked like he had been crying before you entered backstage, sighing in relief as you hugged him, comfort filled his heart, Souma was truly content now

After talking and leaving, Kuro suggested going to Rhythm Link’s halloween party, even if Souma was tired, he agreed after hearing the whereabouts of the party, which was held in the aquarium

When you reached the aquarium, instead of joining everyone at the party you both went towards the turtle exhibition, he seemed so relaxed that Souma didn’t even notice falling asleep on your shoulder

Souma barely remembers how he got home, he smiled as he sees you preparing breakfast for him the next day with his favorite sea themed apron

Natsume Sakasaki

He goes all out on this specific holiday, like dressing as witches together with Tsumugi, Sora and you

Natsume’s goal for halloween is to actually teach you magic; even if it starts by making potions, he’s sure on making it a memorable experience

Tsumugi insists him on taking Sora trick or treating this year since every previous one they would usually give out candy, Natsume sighs, reluctantly agreeing to it and dragging you with him

His eyes are all over you, his hand on your waist as he compliments and flirts with you

Eventually, you both sneak out to kiss and spend time together while Tsumugi continues to trick or treat with Sora

Back at his apartment, Natsume had prepared a small bath for you both to enjoy after the long day; soon sleeping in each other’s arms

Arashi Narukami

Expect a full on halloween glam from this girl, she’s so excited to do your own makeup and wear stylish costumes

Since New Dimension had a small gathering with their idols, Arashi decorated the place so elegantly with some people as support, her face brightened up as she saw you

She won’t shut up about you throughout the party, anytime someone asks about you both, it’s always compliments and praises from Arashi

Arashi later on ends up making non-alcoholic margaritas or handing out drinks to people at the beverage station, casually talking about her day while preparing you a drink

At some point, she takes you to dance under the stars outside, it was such a romantic moment for you both, even kissing you softly, smiling as she held you close

Izumi sighed, looking at you with a faint smile, he was happy Arashi had found someone who complemented her life

Madara Mikejima

Unfortunately, he had to go undercover for a mission that night, after double face disbanded, he ponders if taking you with him would be a good idea, but that quickly disappears when he sees your lock-screen of him in your phone

When he gets home, all bruised up and neutral after a good mission, Madara finds you awake in bed, sighing softly as he apologized for leaving without telling you at such an early hour

Halloween isn’t his favorite holiday, so he likes celebrating it his own way: baking some sweets , watching movies and more

Madara, despite his nature of being friendly and welcoming, wants to only spend time with you, especially after what he had to do during the early hours of the day, he feels safe in your arms and home

He proposed cooking together instead of ordering takeout, wrapping his arms around your waist while you help him out, kissing your shoulder slightly while smiling

Since he’s really tired from the mission, Madara cuddles with you and falls asleep while a movie played in the background, you kissed his forehead before joining him

Nagisa Ran

He’s still getting used to how halloween works, dressing up as your favorite character/movie, getting candy from random neighborhood houses and more

All he could think of was that halloween special in his favorite crystal shop, it’s no surprise when you spend most of your day there with him

Upon entering the shop, Nagisa held your hand the entire time, looking at the many precious gems around the establishment

Even if you both didn’t wear costumes, Nagisa bought matching jade bracelets, walking out the door with a smile, hand in hand once again

Eden had a small gathering during the night and Nagisa dressed up as a mermaid with the rest of his unit. When he spotted you, he couldn’t help but smile, going to hug you after the crowd of fans left

Since Hiyori wanted to go to a Karaoke booth, Nagisa sang his favorite songs while glancing at you first comfort, holding your waist as you joined him for some duo songs

Christmas Gifts

Kalium's (Iron Warrior OC) first Christmas with his bonded child, Kona, and her mother, Kiri.

Kalium in Husbandry AU. A little late for Christmas, but this is just indulgent Christmas fluff. This takes place before Ghilus the Night Lord joined the family.

Kalium tilted his head in confusion at his giggling bonded child, Kona. As much as he adored his little charge, there were just some things he has yet to understand. Like her concept of play, how much rest she needed, how tiny she was, the many things she didn’t have the strength to do and needed assistance, the concept of days off and holidays and why she gets so excited for those. Luckily, Kona’s mother, Kiri, was there to explain most baseline concepts and answer his questions. 

He wanted to say that he knew enough to care for Kona by himself as he saw other Astartes have done. Kona was his child after all. There were creches for young bonded children to play together and be cared for, but he wasn't so ignorant to say that Kona did not need the care of her mother. It eases his mind that Kiri could take care of most baseline children’s needs, especially while he was away. Plus, Kona was very attached to her mother, so to separate her from her mother would cause more grief than necessary, and then he would have to expend more effort to constantly comfort his child. Considering Kona’s sire had been deceased (Kiri never expanded on that) for a while, it was more efficient to step into the role of the missing father figure instead. 

This particular holiday seemed to span the entirety of the month with the town seeming to come alive with festive lights and decorations, some of which he had installed with his fellow battle brothers. He wasn’t sure what it was about, though others compared it to Sanguinala. Even then, he never understood it, being garrisoned to an outpost on a small planet in the farther reaches of the Segmentum Obscurus. By the time they learned of their legion’s treachery, they were already embroiled in battling chaos marines and the abominations coming to raid their planet for supplies. There was nothing to celebrate about. 

However, he wasn’t about to stomp on Kona’s joy for the holiday season. He helped decorate the house, brought a large pine tree home and decorated it with her, made treats and cookies, and enjoyed the festive outdoors with Kiri and Kona when he had the time. Kiri explained that Christmas was a celebration of the birth of some demi-god called “Jesus” and other traditions like decorating trees and getting together with loved ones and gift-giving were all part of it. Supposedly, Saint Nicholas, either an Imperial Saint or a warp-touched creature, delivered gifts to children on the night of Christmas eve. Kalium knew it was mainly a story to get children to behave during the year and their parents were the ones acquiring the gifts for them.

His thoughts were interrupted by a shriek of happiness, “Kalium! See? He looks like you!” Kona shoved a plush doll of an Iron Warrior in his face. 

The iron Warrior gently took the doll from Kona’s hands to look at it, appreciating the detailing of the doll’s plush armor. He chuckled, “Indeed he does, Little Bird.” before handing it back to his bonded child. 

Kiri smiled and reached over to give the Iron Warrior plushie a quick pat, “Now you have a mini Kalium to protect you when Kalium is not home.”

“I love him so much!” Kona squealed and squeezed plushie-Kalium in her arms, “Thank you, Mama!”

Kalium’s mouth stayed in a fond grin, watching his bonded hug the doll version of him tightly. Reaching under the tree, the non-plushie Iron Warrior pulled out a small box and gave it to his bonded child, “Here. This one is yours.” watching with anticipation as Kona quickly ripped the paper off and took out a little puzzle box with an expression of happiness and surprise. 

“Is it a puzzle? You make it?” she asked, her voice full of childish awe.

Kalium pulled her into his lap, his eyes crinkling with happiness and pride, “Yes, I made this puzzle. You have to move the pieces around and it will change into something else.”

“Like Legos?”

“Like Legos and the Rubics cube.” he confirmed.

Kona started to pull on the pieces of the puzzle cube, asking, “What does it make?”

“You tell me once you rebuild it!” Kalium laughed, watching a cute determined pout forming on his bonded child’s face. 

“Okay…” Kona dramatically sighed. 

Kiri reminded her daughter, “What do you say to Kalium?”

Kona flung herself into the Iron Warrior’s chest, “Thank you, Kalium!” 

Kalium quickly caught her, then tossed her into the air, catching his giggling bonded again in a secure hug, “You’re welcome, Kona.” he replied, feeling content. He then reached for another present, pushing it to Kiri. She looked at him bewildered, not expecting a gift from her child’s bonded Astartes. Kona, perched in Kalium’s arm, bounced excitedly, “Mama! Open it! Kalium made it and I helped!”

Kiri gave a playful suspicious look at the pair, “Really?”

Her daughter insisted, “Yes! Mama, please open it!”

Kiri chuckled and tore off the paper wrapping. Inside, was a beautiful wooden folded step stool, covered with playful and intricate wood burn art, and finished with a golden brown stain. The different art styles between Kalium and Kona were very recognizable, though in the back of her mind, Kiri had concerns that Kalium let Kona do wood burning in the first place… which could always be addressed later, she figured. She then laughed, “Kalium, are you calling me short?”

The Iron Warrior shared a glance with a giggling Kona then grinned, “You needed help to reach the top cabinets in the kitchen, this way you will have assistance when I am away.”

Her laughter drifted off into an thankful smile and replied, “Thank you, you two. This is beautiful and will be very helpful. I love you both very much.” She walked over and hugged them both, giving their cheeks a quick kiss. Kalium was speechless, not used to the affectionate gesture from his bonded’s mother. Kona hugged her mom back and spoke for the both of them, “You’re welcome, Mama! Merry Christmas.”

Kiri then took a large flat package from under the tree and handed it to her daughter, “Kona, don’t you have a gift for Kalium too?”

Kona took the present and gave it to her Astartes, saying, “Kalium! Here’s your present!”

With a grin, Kalium took the gift and ripped off the paper, pulling out an Astartes-sized Christmas sweater. Looking at the matching festive sweaters that Kiri and Kona wore, Kalium realized that he also got a matching sweater too. 

Kiri gently encouraged him, “Try it on. See if it fits you.”

He put Kona down and slipped on the sweater. Luckily, it fit him. Kona clapped in joy, pointing to her sweater, beaming, “See! Now we’re the same!”

Kiri looked at him fondly, “You’re family. It’s only right we get you a Christmas sweater too.”

Suddenly Kalium’s chest felt tight with emotion. He had long since forgotten what it felt like to be part of a family. While he has a sense of brotherhood with other battle brothers within his garrison, it wasn’t the same as this. This sudden rush of warmth in his hearts, knowing that this was his home to return to, his child, his family. 

“Merry Christmas, Kalium.” Kiri and Kona said in unison.

Purring, Kalium gathered both of them in his arms and mumbled, “Merry Christmas.”

My miniature doll room

Hello and welcome to the doll room!

This was a special project made for me by my mom. She's a Barbie collector and loves crafting little room boxes for them with tiny realistic accessories. When she asked if I wanted a room box, I was tempted to say no because I'm not into Barbies or dolls their size, but then I saw, fully formed in my imagination, a miniature doll room. And she delivered. Pretty much everything you see in the above photo was made by her: the crib, the chair, the curtain, and even the potted plants!

I expected nothing less than this. I come from several generations of doll collectors, enthusiasts, and artists. My mom was already a talented miniature maker by the time I was born, having taken classes in making them for several years. Her classmates even made her this mini nursery to celebrate my birth! She also made this lovely Victorian dollhouse. She's the real deal when it comes to all things mini.

The Barbie here in the comfy chair represents me, and the comfy clothes I wear at home. She's holding her newest doll, a Zuru My Mini Baby. I'm glad that at least she has a silicone reborn baby doll, because I certainly will never be able to afford a life-sized one for myself. So I live vicariously through her in that way.

Sometimes Briana comes by for a visit! She's very careful when playing with the dolls, since some are vintage and fragile.

On the left is the chair my mom made. On the right are the mini American Girl posters. The reborn baby is in her stroller.

Most of her dolls stand on their shelves. My mom acquired most of these. I contributed the dolls on the bottom shelf, above the compartments. The one on the left is mini Isabelle Palmer (an American Girl crossover with McDonald's happy meal toys).

The next shelf above them is the American Girl doll shelf. These all came from Mega Bloks Construct sets. In the middle is Kit with her scooter and her dog Grace riding inside. Above that shelf are the tiny dolls. I bought the little porcelain doll on the left at last year's local doll show. And the top shelf is Disney and fantasy characters. I don't actually have any Disney dolls, but these look cute in the mini room, and I'm definitely not going for total accuracy here. That would be impossible.

Here's the bay window. My mom made the flowers and the green plant in the middle. She showed me how she made the colorful flowers and it's so easy, but my mind is still blown at how amazing they turned out.

The window is clear plastic. I added the scene out the window. It's from a calendar, and is a view of the San Francisco volcanic field in northern Arizona. It's a somewhat close resemblance to what I see when I look out my house's windows.

On the other side is the crib with the baby dolls. The three blonde babies are Barbie babies. I have no idea what the baby on the left is.

On this end of the crib are vintage Tiny Blessings dolls.

And the animal shelf is above the crib.

Attic Clean Out Continues

Yup. Still going through it all. 20 years off stuff collected up there. Donate. Keep. Sell.

I’m almost through all the clothes. A couple more bins to go through. These I donate. Another bin of boys 3T and 4T to go through today.

I found this table up there. I wish I had taken a before picture. Tightened up the loose joints with Swel-Lok, removed some paint drips, slathered on the dark scratch cover oil, and when that dried, finished with orange oil. This is a keep. Put it in the guest room.

Have started in on the piles of toys. Need to vacuum off Mini-me’s doll house then cover it with a sheet to keep the dust and spider/mouse/bat poop off of it Found my older girls’ easy bake oven from 1997! Along with their little child chef sized mixing bowls, utensils, aprons, pot holders and oven kits. So cute!!! I think I will sell the oven on EBay. Works, nothing missing, and in original box. The other stuff I can sell in FB Marketplace.

The saga continues

I went and bought a new binder and sheet protectors because I couldn't find the ones I SWORE I had somewhere in this house (I'll probably find them in some super obvious place next week after I throw out the receipt). I have been filling out my log on and off for the last few hours. I finally got through the dolls, clothes, and accessories, but I don't think I'm up to the task of writing in the books right now because there are... a lot. A lot of books. Totaling it up, 78 AG books on my shelves, plus another 14 or 15 that I want to get just to complete the book sets for the dolls I own.

I intend to expand my book collection to every historical and modern named character, maybe with mini dolls for the historicals. But I don't feel as nostalgic about or attached to any of the characters after Josefina, because she was the last one I cared about when I was a kid. Kit came out after I was past my childhood doll phase and while I think most of the stories* I've read from various characters that came out after 1997 are good, I don't feel the need to buy the full size dolls or their collections for myself.

*some of the Beforever stories fell a little flat; I wanted to like them but they just didn't work for me. I'll still buy the books, though, because I have nieces and a nephew in or approaching the right reading age range for them and my youngest will be in that range before I can blink. ALSO. Felicity2's last ink spot is allllllmost gone but not quite. I'm hoping one last treatment does it, because this doll has used up almost an entire tube of acne cream almost by herself and I don't want to open a second tube for her if I don't have to!

Kit couldn't help but look back. RJ was flanked by the five infantrymen and led by the Chief into the darkness. Bad Cop met her gaze and frowned sympathetically, falling out of rank to convey his nonverbal condolences. Kit had to be yanked through the front door to a ship that looked a little like a sailing ship with glimmering sails. Bellamy tapped the phone to keep it awake as she piled both herself and Kit into the ship.

"Take us here." Bellamy showed the mini doll driver the note on the phone, then tossed it to Kit, who somehow caught it. The human girl looked for the photo app and found a picture of herself, RJ, and Richard. RJ's grin burned through her mind, locking her into fond memories and present pain until she could feel the taxi stop. Bellamy picked her up and threw her over their shoulder. She looked around and saw she was on a plain looking street bathed in the light of a soft sunset. Before them was a yellow house with a blue roof, the only one of its kind in the cul de sac. The door swung open to reveal a woman in an overall dress and combat boots and a boy wearing a sweater that had sleeves so long, his hands were safely hidden. They both had brown hair, though the boy's held a frame of red and orange. They stared at each other and then at Kit, who dropped her dad's phone in her bag.

"Kit?" The boy's soft voice cut through the awkward silence. "What are you doing here?"

"Dad… dad told me to come here, Vito." Kit could barely get the words out. Her dad was probably halfway to Awntawp by now, she imagined. Her mind's eye could see his potential fear.

"I'll tell Mom you're here." The woman disappeared into the house and returned with an older woman with pink and blue hair. She wore a jacket that matched this color scheme and came out of the house screaming.

"Rex! What have I told you about coming to the house unannounced? You have my number. Tex-!" She paused when she saw that the man she was shouting to wasn't there. "You two. Get in this house. I need to know where RJ is and why he would let you go on your own to an unfamiliar city." As the five headed further into the house, a television started to play an urgent jingle. This jingle and everything that came after gave the woman pause.

"Breaking news today from the lunar spaceport. Rex Dangervest, the villain responsible for the Battle for Syspocalystar and Armommageddon over 20 years ago, has been taken into custody. This capture was orchestrated as part of Chief Starhawk's initiative to ensure that all villains of high notoriety that were unaccounted for prior to the founding of Unitron are brought to justice." The even toned reporting got an eye roll from the woman with the colorful hair. She muted the TV and turned to the two newcomers.

"Kit, I wasn't expecting you today. I'm sorry for yelling." Her eyes wandered to the TV where RJ's tired face was plastered on the screen, shocked that a police photo was already sent to the press. He held the tablet that showed his name and processing number with uncertainty despite the sureness in his eyes. His usual cheeky grin was replaced with a soft frown and a worried brow. Under the photo within the news ticker was a proclamation that this photo was the first time the notorious villain’s face was revealed to the public.

"It's alright, Aunt Lucy." Kit noticed how much older her father looked in that photo. Every line on his face showed itself to her and the look he gave the camera made her feel like someone simply took her father's face and was just pretending to be the carefree man she knew so well. "I wasn't expecting to come over."

"OK. Someone's gotta tell me who Chief Starhawk is and why he took Kit's dad." Bellamy glanced at the TV screen.

"So, Chief Blaise Starhawk is the current chief of Unitron. They're the law out in space. He got the idea in his head to round up every space outlaw from before Unitron's founding and try them for their crimes. Kit's father was the highest on his list." Lucy looked away from the TV. "There is room in the house for both of you. I'm sure Emmet is on his way to meet RJ at Watevra's castle or wherever Starhawk is sending him. Dinner is at 8. Curfew is at 10. Give me your phone so I can put my number in it." Kit fished out RJ's phone and passed it to Lucy.

"This is all I have. Dad was supposed to get me a phone, but…" She looked down as Lucy took the phone. Lucy saw the lockscreen and handed it back.

"Your father has my number on that phone. If you need help, call me or Emmet." Lucy headed for her kitchen.

"Mom, how long is Dad going to be out?" Vito asked, attempting to roll up his sleeves as he followed his mother.

"Uncle RJ's trial is going to be lengthy. It could take months." Lucy shook her head, her tone becoming exasperated. "Can we not talk about this right now? I need to figure out what I'm going to get for dinner. Kit. Kit's friend. Are you okay with fried chicken?" The two nodded. "Good. I'm going to get Club Cluckers. Charmy. You're in charge." She pointed to the young woman and headed out the door. Silence fell on the four younger beings until Vito turned to Kit.

"Why did your dad send you here, Kit?" The question hung heavily as Kit silently attempted to process what was going on.

"Something attacked Dad's raptors. He wasn't sure what, but I overheard him telling your dad something about a portal. Normally, nothing scares him but I've never seen him so scared." Kit looked down at her dad's phone and looked at the lockscreen. The wallpaper was of her and Richard sitting at a table. It was a candid photo, taken during a time when Richard was helping her with her homework when she was still in lower school. With a tap, the phone splashed a pin pad and requested a passcode. She shoved the phone in her bag, only just noticing that Charmy had spoken the whole time.

"Kit. Are you listening?" Kit shook her head. "You really are part of the family, huh. I was trying to say that it's super weird that your dad was so high on Chief Starhawk's checklist. The Unikingdom government has been protecting him for decades because he's a war hero. Get this: I remember they approached former President Business when this whole thing started, but they just backed away like he didn't do anything. A lot of people just think he bought them off." This knowledge was imparted with a conspiratorial whisper.

"Oh come on, Char. Don't fill our cousin's head with that nonsense." Vito rolled his eyes.

"Think about it: what has President Business done for Syspocalypstar since he was given a second chance? Absolutely nothing. He mostly stays in the background and makes money. If anybody is not repentant and deserving of a trial, it's him. At least Uncle RJ has been working to do something with the second chance he was given."

"Uncle RJ still did terrible things that he's never apologized for. I love our uncle, but Unitron going after him first makes a lot more sense." Vito spoke carefully, but he could see Kit's face turn dark.

"How long had Unitron been looking for Dad?" Kit spoke softly.

"Since the beginning. He was a big part of the chief's first speech-" Vito quickly interrupted his sister.

"And why he was hired for the position, they say. He said that, in order to start from scratch with Unitron, he needed to fix past mistakes."

"And Dad was a past mistake." Kit's words hung heavy in the air.

"To Unitron and most of Syspocalypstar, yes." Vito glanced to Kit with some sympathy, but Kit looked away. "I know it's hard to hear, but he still ended the world. That was something he was capable of and he probably still is capable of."

"I know he can be really strong and gets really angry sometimes, but that's not what he's like." Kit leaned against the kitchen doorframe for a second before moving deeper into the living room.

"Let's stop talkin' about this." Bellamy's words filled Kit with relief. "Do ya get the martial arts channel out here? 'Basics with Chopper" is on soon. I think." They reached for the remote for the muted TV, but it was gone from the spot where Lucy had left it.

"We don't have intergalactic satellite. Mom says it's too expensive." Charmy shrugged. "It's just the news right now and I know what they absolutely will be talking about right now." A soft burst of static made the three look over to the TV.

"... Bring you to Awntawp Correctional Center, where we will hear from Chief Blaise Starhawk about the recent events of the evening." The TV transitioned from a photo of a stark and stern set of gray buildings on a dusty planet to a podium with the man from the spaceport who took RJ away. Instead of wearing a spacesuit, he wore a full suit that reminded Kit of the suit her father wore during fancy Unikingdom parties. His helmet was also off and she saw that everything about him was angles and harshness, save for a small swirl of dusty blonde hair in the center of his forehead. His hair was neat and short, his face clean shaven. His expression was stern, the lines on his face relaying that he never entertained the idea of smiling a day in his life. Somehow, however, his eyes glinted with pride and joy.

"Thank you for tuning in tonight. Today marks a great day in the history of Unitron. One of our most wanted criminals, the man who orchestrated the destruction of our world over 20 years ago, is finally having his day in court. This moment has been a true test of everything our organization can do in order to hunt a criminal, which does include a lack of cooperation from the planet harboring said criminal. This should also be an embarrassing day for Meraki. The royal family of the Unikingdom has been letting Rex Dangervest run rampant in their kingdom for decades. The people of said kingdom have already expressed concern that we have captured someone they seem to call a her-" the TV was turned off as quickly as it was turned on.

"It's like this jerk has never cracked open a history book." The three standing turned to a double decker couch, where Kit was sitting on the bottom couch with the remote in one hand and gripping her bag strap with the other, knuckles white.

"Why would Meraki call your dad a hero? I know you guys are from there and Charmy keeps saying he was a war hero, but we don't really learn Merakian history at school." Vito sat next to his cousin, hoping that discussing her father in a positive light would calm things down.

"My dad helped save the planet a few times. He never asked for anything in return, just did it because he felt he needed to. I'm still coming to terms with him wanting to destroy everything at some point in his life, but he loves the Unikingdom. I couldn't see living anywhere else and neither could he." Kit watched the other two teens head over and sit on the top couch. "I don't want to turn on the TV again in case that… jerk is still talking nonsense about Dad, but is there a movie we can watch or something?"

"Not until after dinner." Lucy's voice cut through the hallway. "Can either of my children help me bring our food to the table? I bought a lot just in case your father comes back." Charmy hopped down from the top couch and helped her mother get the kitchen table ready for dinner.

"Come on. Maybe some food in you will calm your nerves." Bellamy jumped from their perch and led Kit to the kitchen. They looked at the large bucket and laughed heartily. "Is that bucket for me? What are the rest of ya gonna eat?"

"Bellamy! We're probably all sharing. So you're going to have to not eat the whole bucket this time." Kit chuckled as she sat between Bellamy and Vito.

Things largely settled down after the five started to eat. Conversation was light and pleasant, focusing mostly on talking about school and plans for summer vacation now that the four teenagers were let out for the summer.

After conversation had died down and dinner had been finished, Lucy took Bellamy and Kit to a spare bedroom, where their suitcases were waiting despite no one remembering anyone bringing them up. It was a basically decorated room that only really could fit the small bed and air mattress that were provided. Soon enough, sleep fell over the house and the small house was still.

Christmas special: Some gift ideas

Hello, Athe here!

I've been thinking a lot about some small gifts that I think would be perfect for the characters. Sort of like Christmas ideas for small budgets. I've tried to find some visual references and give some context for those who don't know the characters that well. It would be interesting to see what you guys would come up with, especially, for your own OCs… I'm going to leave a blank template below for anyone who wants to add some more or create their own OC version. We will reblog all your suggestions, you can also leave them in our ask which is always open. Happy holidays!

Arael

Protective console case or gaming case: You can't go wrong with anything related to video games, especially if it's something with a cute aesthetic. Arael can't resist that kind of thing.

Ice cream maker: No more endless queues in the canteen. Arael will be able to make his own personalised ice cream with one of these machines.

Kigurumi: A warm pyjama to spend their hours in front of the computer playing or in your company.

Zihel

Fire extinguisher: It goes without saying why it's a good idea for Zihel to have a fire extinguisher on hand.

Some new clothes: The truth is that his clothes are outdated and quite torn. You would do him a favour by buying him something even if he won't thank you directly. Besides, he will accept any style you want to put on him without putting up too much of a fuss.

Survival kit: Zihel has always been interested in everything related to hunting and survival. He'll surely appreciate a kit with everything he needs for an adventurous weekend (or another kind of weekend…).

Kyeran

Original teapot or tea set: Kyeran really enjoys drinking hot tea, so he would love a tea set. If you take the opportunity to give it a personalised touch in keeping with his style of decoration, you will make him very happy.

Portable hammock: You never know when you'll want to rest during a desert trek. A portable hammock can be ideal for him, but also for you to share a romantic moment.

Emotional support dolls: Anything you've made by hand will be highly valued, but these cute little dolls with motivational phrases will lift anyone's spirits.

Joe

Portable charger: Don't ever catch Joe without a charge on one of her many devices. Without them Joe could go crazy and you will probably be her target.

Pyjamas or satin pillowcase: Inexpensive options to recreate a luxurious experience. Either is a good choice. Joe loves to feel pampered.

Massage oil: It's likely that with this you can both participate.

Opal

Handmade candles: Since Opal discovered that he has a good sense of smell, he has also found that the smells of scented candles relax him a lot. It is easy for him to get stressed or irritable, but candles help him to calm his nerves.

Watchmaking tools: Opal has started a new trade and is comfortable repairing and making wind-up watches. But he often loses his tools or they break. A new kit is always welcome.

Work apron: Another thing he has recently discovered is that he enjoys working with the soil and could do with a work apron to keep all his gardening tools in.

Ariel

Poker cards with famous musicians: He likes to play card games, especially if gambling is involved. If you buy him some personalised cards like these, you can be sure he'll always have them with him.

Special edition vinyls: Any music fan would love something like this. You can't go wrong with an original edition of one of your favourite bands.

Skull-shaped ice bucket or whiskey set: There are quite a few objects in this shape in Ariel's house. We thought he might like something to do with alcohol.

Akane

Pizza oven: Akane is a ramen and pizza fanatic. This time, we thought it might be nice to have a mini oven so that her pizzas are always perfect.

Car bin: Everyone knows that Akane loves driving, but not so much tidiness and cleanliness. Help her to keep it all tidy with this mini-trash bin for the car.

Exercise dice: She loves sport. We suggest you give her something more original than a pair of trainers or a bottle of water with a dice to help him choose her daily exercises.

Hasiel

Ultrasonic cleaner: Anyone who owns glasses will understand Hasi's problems with keeping his glasses clean. You'd be doing him a big favour by buying him a little machine like this.

Writers' Socks: Although he wouldn't usually wear colourful, flashy clothes, socks are perfect for letting his imagination run wild. Especially if they are about a subject that interests you as much as books do.

Diorama bookmarks: Another Christmas classic are bookmarks, but I have found some that recreate mythical scenes from classic books. They are available for many works and can be a perfect complement to special editions of books.

Pencil holder: I couldn't resist making this little inside joke. A little reminder won't hurt either.

Snack advent calendar: Why ask for one gift when you can have 24? He would love any advent calendar, but a snack calendar seems appropriate for him.

Projector: With a small projector he can watch films and series in his sorority room or invite you to join him.

Maske

Fingerprint padlock: A secure padlock for a person who hides a lot of secrets. Maske loves tech gadgets and keeping their privacy safe.

Cup warmer: For someone who drinks a lot of coffee and has insomnia, this cup warmer will keep your cups at the perfect temperature.

Spice collection: It's no secret that Maske likes to cook, so they have a lot of utensils, so the smartest thing I could think of is to give them some kind of exotic spice kit so they can innovate in their kitchen and get out of their comfort zone a bit.

Gothic picnic basket: A perfect basket for two to have a romantic meal in the forest with Opal.

Couples' keepsake wheel: Important dates and memories can be engraved on it. A romantic and personalised gift.

Sewing scissors: A nice pair of scissors is a must in the sewing basket of a seamstress.

He intentado buscar algunas referencias visuales y darle algo de contexto para aquellos que no conozcan tan bien a los personajes. Sería interesante ver qué es lo que se os ocurriría a vosotros, especialmente, sobre vuestros propios OCs... Arael

Carcasa protectora para consola o funda para juegos: No se puede fallar con cualquier cosa relacionada con videojuegos, especialmente, si es algo con una estética cuqui. Arael no se puede resistir a esa clase de cosas.

Heladera: Se acabaron las colas interminables en el comedor. Arael podrá hacer sus propios helados personalizados con una máquina de éstas.

Kigurumi: Un pijama calentito para pasar sus horas delante del ordenador jugando o en tu compañía.

Zihel

Extintor: Sobra decir por qué es buena idea que Zihel tenga un extintor a mano.

Algo de ropa nueva: Lo cierto es que su ropa está anticuada y bastante rota. Le harías un favor comprándole algo aunque no vaya agradecértelo directamente. Además, aceptará cualquier estilo que quieras ponerle sin poner demasiadas pegas.

Kit de supervivencia: A Zihel siempre le ha llamado la atención todo lo relacionado con la caza y la supervivencia. Seguro agradecerá un kit con todo lo necesario para un finde de aventuras (o un finde otro tipo...).

Kyeran

Tetera o juego de té original: Kyeran disfruta mucho de tomar un té calentito, así que un juego de té le encantaría. Si aprovechas para que tenga algún toque personalizado a su estilo de decoración le harás muy feliz.

Hamaca portable: Nunca se sabe cuando vas a querer descansar durante una ruta por el desierto. Una hamaca portátil puede ser ideal para él, pero también para que compartáis un momento romántico.

Muñecos de soporte emocional: Cualquier cosa que hayas hecho a mano la valorará muchísimo, pero estos tiernos muñequitos con frases motivacionales levantan el ánimo a cualquiera.

Cargador portátil: Que nunca le pille a Joe sin carga en alguno de sus muchos dispositivos. Sin ellos Joe podría volverse loca y, seguramente, su diana seas tú.

Pijama o funda de almohada de satén: Opciones económicas para recrear una experiencia lujosa. Cualquiera de las dos es una buena opción. A Joe le encanta sentirse consentida.

Aceite para masajes: Es probable que con esto podáis participar los dos.

Opal

Velas hechas a mano: Desde que Opal descubrió que tiene buen olfato, también se ha dado cuenta que los olores de las velas aromáticas le relajan mucho. Es fácil que se estrese o esté irritado pero las velas le ayudan a calmar sus nervios.

Herramientas de relojería: Opal ha comenzado un nuevo oficio y se siente cómodo reparando y fabricando relojes de cuerda. Pero a menudo pierde sus herramientas o se rompen. Un nuevo kit siempre será bienvenido.

Delantal de trabajo: Otra cosa que ha descubierto recientemente, es que le agrada mucho trabajar con la tierra y no le vendría mal un delantal de trabajo donde guardar todas sus herramientas de jardinería.

Ariel

Cartas de póker con músicos famosos: Le gusta jugar a juegos de cartas, sobre todo, si hay apuestas de por medio. Si le compras unas cartas personalizadas como éstas, te aseguramos que siempre las llevará encima.

Vinilos de edición especial: Cualquier fanático de la música le gustaría algo así. No se puede fallar con una edición original de una de sus bandas favoritas.

Cubitera o set de whiskey en forma de calavera: No son pocos los objetos con esta forma en su casa. Hemos pensado que le podría agradar algo relacionado con el alcohol.

Akane

Horno de pizza: Akane es una fanática del ramen y las pizzas. Esta vez, se nos ha ocurrido que podría estar bien un mini horno para que sus pizzas queden siempre perfectas.

Basura para el coche: Todo el mundo sabe que Akane ama conducir, pero no tanto el orden, ni la limpieza. Ayúdala a que lo mantenga todo recogido con esta mini-papelera para el coche.

Dado de ejercicio: Le encanta el deporte. Te proponemos darle algo más original que unas zapatillas o una botella de agua con un dado que le ayude a elegir sus ejercicios diarios.

Hasiel

Limpiador ultrasónico: Todos los que tienen gafas comprenderán bien los problemas de Hasi para mantener sus gafas limpias. Le harías un gran favor comprándole una pequeña máquina como estas.

Marcapáginas en forma de diorama: Otro clásico navideño son los marcapáginas, pero he encontrado unos que recrean escenas míticas de libros clásicos. Los hay de muchas obras y pueden ser un complemento perfecto para ediciones especiales de libros.

Portalápices: No me he podido resistir a hacer esta pequeña broma interna. Un pequeño recordatorio tampoco le vendrá mal.

Calendario de adviento de snacks: Para que pedir un regalo cuando puedes tener 24... Cualquier calendario de adviento le gustaría, pero uno de snaks parece apropiado para él.

Proyector: Con un pequeño proyector podrá ver películas y series en su cuarto de la hermandad o invitarte a acompañarle.

Maske

Candado con huella dactilar: Un candado seguro, para una persona que oculta muchos secretos. A Maske le encantan los gadget tecnológicos y tener su intimidad a buen recaudo.

Portavasos calentador: Para alguien que toma mucho café y tiene insomnio este calentador mantendrá sus tazas a la temperatura perfecta.

Colección de especias: No es ningún secreto que a Maske le gusta cocinar, por eso tiene gran cantidad de utensilios, por eso, lo más inteligente que se me ha ocurrido es regalarle algún tipo de kit de especias exóticas para que innove en su cocina y salga un poco de su zona de confort.

Cesta de picnic gótica: Una cesta perfecta para dos, con la que poder tener una comida romántica en el bosque acompañada de Opal.

Rueda de recuerdos para parejas: Se pueden grabar fechas importantes y recuerdos en ella. Un regalo romántico y personalizado.

Tijeras de costura: Unas bonitas tijeras nunca sobran en el cesto de arreglos de una costurera.

short story :)

this is a short story i made on roblox and it's pretty much a warm up before i actually continue typing the AU story out. I hope you enjoy it <3 [ story is not AU related, its my sona with a mute reader ]

You see a doll house from afar, glancing at it in awe before inhaling the sweet air that is surrounding the house. Your stomach rumbled a bit, sensing that you're hungry from the long trip. You walked up to the house and before you even know it, the door is cracked open. You thought to yourself if you should enter the house but curiousity is entering through your mind that you gently pushed the door open, hearing a small creak and meow from the distance. A feline was the first thing you see and it climbed down its cat house to walk up to you, curiously. You kneel a bit and pet its head, feeling the vibrating purr against your hand and moving away to make its way to the kitchen, hearing the collar jangle from it's neck. You peeked your head into the kitchen and see an anthropomorphic bunny in pretty pink pajamas, taking a tray out of the oven and putting it on top of the counter, taking the kitchen mittens off. The cat meowed once again, entering the kitchen and walking up to the rabbit, rubbing its body against their leg. They turn to look down and gives it a pet before turning at you, a bit shocked that you entered the house without a sound. It only startled them for one bit until they chuckled, giving you a gentle smile. " You startled me there, stranger. I thought i locked my door, " their voice sounded gentle and comforting so you stepped into the kitchen more to show your appearance.

You apologized to them about entering the house without permission, rubbing the back of your neck, quite embarassed. They picked up their cat, carrying the little critter like a baby and petting its head, " no worries, a knock or ring on the door bell would be nice. I figured you entered the house because of my pandan bread, would you like some..?". The offer seems nice for a change since back at your town, none of that was there but filled with rude customers and unfair service.

You nod softly, putting your hands behind your back. "alright, this is my treat so you can take two for the trip from where you're from," they grabbed the two fresh breads and a mini basket to store in, placing a cloth on top to keep it warm and cozy.

They gave you the basket,"here you go..I hope this is enough for you". You grabbed the basket and peeked inside before looking up at them and smiling softly. They are quite curious about you now, asking,"can you speak, young one?". You shook your head no, pulling up a card from the lanyard around your neck, showing it to them that says "i'm mute, please be patient." They looked in awe then nod,"i see, you seemed satisfied with the offer, i'm sure you'll enjoy the breads".

You nod once again, leaning forward to pet their cat again. The purrs were vibrating against your hand and making you smile wider. " It seems like Jackpot likes you too. How lovely, " they said, feeling the cat stretched his long arms out and cuddled up against their chest.

After the interaction, they helped you escort out of the doll house, careful enough to not accidentally hurt you because of the crayons and sewing kit around the floor. You stepped outside once again, taking a deep breath to inhale the nature smell of rain.

"Be safe out there. You can come back whenever you like," they said, waving a goodbye at you. You waved back at them, starting to make your way out of the doll house. It seemed like a comforting haven, the peace and quiet surrounding the environment, and pretty colors of pastels and white that gives off the atmosphere. You glanced at the house one last time, seeing the rabbit walking through their house from the window before turning back to continue on.

Will you see them again, you questioned yourself. Maybe another day or so, you will see. The End.

Alanna of Trebond, later known as Alanna the Lioness, is ten years old at the start of Alanna: the First Adventure, the first book in her quartet, set in the fantasy land of Tortall. She wants to be a knight and doesn't want to be a lady while her twin brother Thom doesn't want to be a knight. The pair conspire to swap places and thus begins Alanna's journey to knighthood. Alanna (and Thom) has red hair (frequently called copper) and purple eyes (sometimes described as violet). She's short and stocky.

I've compiled a mini gallery of some of the book covers of Alanna: the First Adventure as possible sources of inspiration. The copy I grew up with is in the middle top row so I have a soft spot for it but in terms of which comes closest imo to the text description and what I envision in my head, I would probably draw from bottom left and middle.

My difficulty is in working out which doll to become Alanna as there are no purple-eyed dolls and no dolls with the right hair shade, much less cut, so it's a more of a matter of working out what face shape I like best followed by acquiring the right wig and eyeballs.

Suggestions are very welcome!

The second one is Laena Velaryon, mostly inspired by the adorable actress playing the child version of her in House of the Dragon. (However, I'm kind of debating whether to keep her purple eyes from Fire and Blood.) I love the A Song of Ice and Fire series and haven't gotten around to watching more than a little bit of HotD but this actress is so endearing in her scenes, I'd love to make a doll of the character. I tentatively thought maybe Truly Me #112 (pictured next to Nova Foueillis-Mosé as Laena) could work but I'm really unsure. Open to opinions!

And the third one is Sabriel from the Abhorsen series. This is a series that one of my dear friends introduced me to in the past five years, which I adore but I also know I would have loooved if I’d read it when I was the target age. Sabriel lives in the Old Kingdom, a fantasy land on one side of a wall across which is the mundane land of Ancelstierre.

The Abhorsens are a lineage in the Old Kingdom who use special magical bells to control the dead and return the necromanced dead to the realm of Death.

When the first book (also called Sabriel) opens, Sabriel is at school in Ancelstierre and learns her father, the Abhorsen, is trapped in Death and she must go rescue him.

Sabriel has dark brown eyes and black hair worn in a bob. Unlike Alanna and Laena, Sabriel is not around the usual American Girl character age. I think she's 17/18 at the start but I still wanna make her.

I really like Just Like You #40 but I think Kit's haircut is the more accurate bob. As always, open to thoughts!

Dura-Craft Farmhouse, interlude 1

As a break from gluing the same wall panel five different times, because every time we got one fixed, the old hot glue gave out on another section... well, yes, we should have taken it apart completely and reglued all of it at once. We're stubborn.

As a break, we went to Sacramento to look at a bricks-and-mortar dollhouse store for a kitchen set. Spoiler: this post is not going to be about what an amazing sight it was to be in my first miniatures shop. That's partly because it's not my first miniatures shop.

Okay, let's be organized:

Dollhouse furniture in the contemporary kit era

When the kit era started in the late 1970s, dollhouse furniture options were pretty limited. There were Concord Miniatures (high quality, high cost), The House of Miniatures kits (high quality DIY, mostly colonial style), Crysnbon (plastic DIY, highly detailed), and occasional dollar-store, Grandmother Stover, and Darice minis, along with much lower-quality, less detailed furniture kits from various dollhouse kit makers.

That sounds like a lot of options, but it added up to far fewer different furniture sets than in the early 2000s. That more recent era offered the last of high-end Bespaq (we used to debate if they were still in business), new products from Melissa and Doug, neat stuff from Dolls House Emporium if you paid the high shipping from the UK, basic American styles from Hobby Lobby's Mayberry Street, and then so, so much variety from dominant brand Town Square. Virtually all of the furniture other than Bespaq was chunkier than in the early 1980s, but there was a lot of it. Town Square was prolific with kitchen colors and bathroom variations.

Post-2020, that's gone. Town Square increased its domination (it's also Dolls House Emporium's Streets Ahead brand), but it reduced its lines. Other brands offer less than they used to. Amazon sells a brand called iLand, but that's about it for newcomers.

Which leads us to...

My personal dilemma with dollhouse kitchens

Contemporary dollhouse kitchens come in two basic types (photos from manufacturer stock).

This are full-wall kitchen units in various configurations (this one is from iLand). I love these and intend to use this style when I build my Walmer front-opening kit. It won't work for the Farm House because that has too many windows.

The other style, consistently mostly or entirely of separate lower cabinets, is what I need here. (Browsing to find this pic reminded me that sets used to be higher quality. *sigh*)

There are very few choices, and they've generally doubled in price since 2018 (which is not the usual rate of price increase on dollhouse furniture). Anything new is also on Aliexpress at half the price.

When I'd sold my mother's extensive collections, I'd kept only the items I absolutely loved, so I sold, gave away, or donated a number of kitchens that are objectively better than what I can find now. I don't entirely feel bad about that -- I was planning only one future project and wanted to be able to choose what was meaningful to me, rather than perpetually making Mom's choices work -- but I do feel frustrated.

The death of the dollhouse shop

When I lived in California in the early 00s, there were 7 or 8 dollhouse shops within a reasonable drive. My favorites were Dollhouses, Trains, and More in Novato (pricey, but they had everything) and Campbell Toy and Hobby (more human-scale). I preferred to shop at bricks-and-mortar stores; I used mail order only when locals couldn't get me what I wanted (usually vintage items or half-scale).

So while it's obvious that a combination of aging owners and internet-savvy shoppers contributed to the decline and fall of dollhouse miniature stores, I'm not the person to individually blame.

What's left here in northern California is my least-favorite store, the one in Sacramento. Back in the day, the owner was snobby about Bespaq, and I went to that store only if I was already in Sacramento and it wasn't out of the way. Lacking other alternatives, I figured I'd give it a chance.

It's under the same ownership, and it seems to be a hobby to get out of the house, as there's no way this store is making money. Here's where people will call me on the carpet for not engaging in conversation with the owner, thinking I missed out on quaint stories of dollhouse-building in the olden days. Maybe I did.

Here's the thing. The stock of kitchens was clearly just a matter of selling down the least popular items ordered around 2015, at a super-premium price. There was nothing new, nothing unusual, and nothing from estate sales. So no matter how often she demanded "can I help you find something?", there was nothing to find.

Here's the other thing. I have had elderly miniaturists attempt to "introduce me to the hobby" so, so many times. I'm not a regular at their events, so they assume I know nothing. I do not want to be sold on using the same wallpaper styles that everyone's been using for 40 years, or on lines of furniture that run $250 a room, or on how they would never touch whatever kit brand I'm working on. Been there, done that, and sincerely believe that the snobbery of the hobby is part of why it's aging out of existence. I have a bolder style that's more toy-like. It is one of my joys to see how many newer builders on r/dollhouse spontaneously do styles similar to mine (they're not inspired by me, it's just the zeitgeist).

So here are my kitchen options:

Order from China.

Hold out for a semi-vintage set, with the likelihood of paying more than I want to.

Look into building kitchen cabinets.

Either way, odds are that the the kitchen finishes should be compatible with an all-white or all-wood kitchen.

Okay, I need to assess and prioritize repairs now that my mother is home and I can't have my tool kits all over the kitchen. I really could use a dedicated workshop but that's not gonna happen in this house and we're not even able to look at new houses till the fall. Even then my "workshop" will likely be a deep sink and a workbench in the garage.

Anyway. I am still working on the other two Felicities, though what we're down to there is stain removal and that, I'm learning, may take a long time. So I need to focus on other girls for now.

To that end, the following dolls need the following work:

- Götz Hans and Lee need shoes. Lee needs a jacket.

- Felicity only needs her necklace.

- Josefina needs cleaning, restringing, hair restoration. Her clothes need cleaning and I need to buy her necklace and either buy or make shoes.

- Kirsten needs cleaning, restringing, hair restoration, and an eye swap with Marie Grace.

- Addy is cleaned and fixed up, but I need to track down her meet clothes and accessories. I'm hoping this doesn't end up requiring another doll purchase.

- Samantha 1 needs cleaning up, restringing, hair restoration.

- Samantha 2 hasn't shipped yet - I bought her for her clothes, and will fix up the doll to resell another time but she will also need cleaning up at least. Unsure yet what work her clothes will need, but I will need to buy stockings and shoes for her.

- Molly 1 (mine) needs cleaning, restringing, hair restoration, and stain removal. Her clothes need cleaning and she needs shoes.

- Molly 2 (Daughter's) needs cleaning, restringing, hair restoration. Her clothes need cleaning.

- Marie Grace needs earring holes filled, an eye swap with Kirsten, probably also an eye repaint after that swap, hair restoration or a new wig, piercings, tattoos, and new clothes.

- JLY4 needs cleaning, restringing, eye repainting, and a name.

- Mini Molly needs a cleaning.

- Bitty Baby needs cleaning and clothes - I bought her to make clothes for but honestly I'm not sure I want to make baby doll clothes anymore so I might just let my daughter add her to her collection.
