Digitalised + coloured + redesigned version of my Suiren and Vaatu sketch from two days ago, as promised!!

Coming up with Suiren’s design was a very long process of trying and failing because after you’ve drawn 9+ different versions of one character, the creativity starts to run a little dry, but I’m actually really proud of this one, she looks absolutely adorable <3

(Also yeah I did mostly just scribble Vaatu’s pattern because who has the energy to draw the all out accurately. Not me, that’s who, I’m chronically tired. People who draw him on the regular have my utmost respect. He’s still a funky little guy though :D)

Here's now an update on the insecurity ah had last night about my drawing skills!!!...

So... Last night, ah made a post where I was a bit insecure about the random male characters ah draw just out of randomness to make more proportions, and then they end up looking more like women.... I want some of 'em to look feminine, but not for 'em to look fully like women, but just for some to be a bit feminine and to still have male anatomy and stuff like that....

But! Ah figured out the reason why this happend to me yesterday... it's because I always draw some female anatomy and proportions out of randomness, so that's probably why I last night sometimes mixed both genders into a character. But ah even now decided that I'll draw some stuff like how I did before in 2023, like how ah drew lips before like this:

And this is a RECYCLED drawing proportion that I'll use on female, male, but even non-binary or genderless characters that ah draw, either the characters in ma company, or just the characters I draw out of randomness. And I'll actually try not to give every male character bottom eyelashes, but I do that just to make some of the male characters look a bit juicier. And ah decided that I'll maybe give them some sort of visible eyeliners, but I'll even on some characters give some small bottom eyelashes, but it actually depends on if the character is feminine or half feminine or masculine. And also, the first way that I used to draw lips is the way I used to draw 'em from november 2022 to april or may of 2024.

And I kinda started to lose this insecurity that ah had earlier, but again, this is maybe just because of some stuff that I had a addiction to draw, like the eyelashes on every character, visible lips on every character... Etc. But ah decided to not give it on every character, no matter if it's a male, female, or a genderless character.

But I'll just pray to Allah SWT tonight that this insecurity of mine will go away tommorow or in a couple of days. Also, y'all... I'll never stop drawing or bein' creative of my drawings, characters, shows, my company... Drawing will still be in my heart, and always will be. But just like every artist, there's some details and stuff of how we draw that give us insecurities or unsureness about our drawings, but it's all normal. ❤️

And also, I won't stop giving male characters feminine hairs or stop giving female characters masculine hairs, or even to stop making some male characters be feminine or to stop making some female characters be masculine, or for both genders to have mixed personalities. It will always be in my drawing heart and skills and will always give each different personalities and stuff for the characters, both in my company (who are canon from other companies) or my character counterparts. But I'll even continue and keep making female characters be feminine, male characters be masculine, and be the ones that ah listed above. ❤️

And I'll even try to not overthink or to think negatively about this feeling of mine that I had about the male characters that ah draw tho.. -/////-;

How To Make Salatul Haja

Step 1

Perform wudu perfectly.

Step 2

Perform two voluntary rakats of prayer.

"He who makes wudu, and does it properly, then prays two rakats, Allah will grant him whatever he may pray for, sooner or later." (Ahmad)

Step 3

Praise Allah (through dhikr, dua, istikhfaar).

Step 4

Send blessings and peace upon the Messenger PBUH.

Step 5

Say the following supplication:

لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللهُ الحَلِيمُ الكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ العَظِيمِ ، الحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ ، أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ ، وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرّ،ٍ وَالسَّلامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ ،لاَ تَدَعْ لِيْ ذَنْباً إِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ، وَلاَ هَمَّاً إِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهُ، وَلاَ حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضاً إِلاَّ قَضَيتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

Step 6

Ask for your specific needs.

Don't feel that if you cannot pray due to illness, hayd (periods), or other circumstances, you cannot perform salatal haja. You can still turn to Allah SWT in supplication and say the above dua to express your need to Him.

Allah answers our supplications and loves being asked, so the true believer is hopeful and always asks for His mercy and blessings.

I used to think that praying nawafil prayers and doing the "extras" was daunting and time-consuming. However, after falling on some tough times, I learned to implement these extra prayers into my life.

That's when I saw what I had been missing! Now I cannot imagine living my life without these helpful voluntary prayers and duas. It's not only effective but is a special gift from our Merciful Lord to utilize during those tough days - so I urge you to try salatul haja and feel the difference, inshallah.

The one and only reason why I have stayed this long at this platform is because its a safe haven for me. Particularly this blog of mine and others too falling under the same category as it makes me close to Allah swt. Whenever i feel heartbroken, upset or regretful i turn to this blog and it eases my pain like nothing else. I am so grateful to have found fellow muslims here. They help me survive through the world's sufferings. This place is like an alternative world to duniya, here my soul feels relaxed and cries in joy to know more about my religion and its teachings !

Istikharah: A Facility from Allah

I had set an alarm for myself to start planning ahead on the life after internship upon entering stase puskesmas.

But I had been slacking off and making my chronic disease as my excuse. So alhamdulillah Allah guided me to start the self-rediscovery journey.

I am not as intelligent nor do I have all the privileges, but I know my identity as a Muslim is my biggest Why.

This one month of caveman period was full of discussions, readings, writings. But it was also full of tears.

It was full of questions and prayers to Allah swt. Uncertainty can be scary, right?

Uncertainty can be unimaginably dark. It eats you up eventually, if you have no Guidance.

I have so many aspirations and ambitions. But I asked Allah, with all the potentials He has given me, the knowledge He bestowed upon me, the people He surrounded me with and the life story He had decreed:

To what specific purpose I shall contribute?

We are fortunate as muslims to have the end goal: His acceptance, and mercy, to be able to finally see Him in His paradise.

So I asked and asked. The beauty of Islam, is how comprehensive this deen is. You see, there is even a specific prayer to ask for guidance in making choices!

To be protected from making “false” choices:

Choices that are khaiir leads to preservation of eeman, of deen, of family, of the good in this world and the hereafter.

“Wrong” choices, on the other hand, leads to turmoil.

I asked myself as simple as, what if I were to be involved in a research unknowingly utilized for the corruption of people, of environment and of this deen. How shall I ever repent?

Hence duaa of istikharah in this world full of hidden agendas, is a gift from Allah. A facility that Allah prepared for His servants to return in times of doubts and anxiety.

O Allah. How I longed for our meeting. I have sinned endless times to which You decreed a repentance that follows. How grateful am I to be your servant.

O Allah.. in this period of waiting that is full of uncertainty please grant upon me the tranquility of heart, the strength to practice husnudzan billah, to continuously have faith in your Plans. Guide me. Don’t let me be astray.

Guys I literally have no time for this but I am having Ideas about the new upcoming avatar (elemental not Disney).

So I’m imagining that in this ‘new’ world, a cataclysm happened - but it’s not political/spiritual/the fault of the humans.

I think it could’ve been a mega meteor that came from the sky.

Maybe earthbenders were curious about spirit metal and called to the heavens. Maybe it was just a random rock. But in any case, a meteor falls from the sky and destroys the world as we know it.

It won’t be as devastating as the dinosaur one, because THAT would be TOO hard on the population. But it’s still nasty.

Of course, despite the large expanse of the oceans, it lands on the earth kingdom. Specifically, Ba Sing Se, for irony purposes.

This wiped out most of the city, and sent off earthquakes and tsunamis around the continent, if not the world. At least a few of the volcanoes in the Fire Nation blow, and a couple near the poles go off too. A few new islands arise from the sea, while others crumble. Due to the high mountains in all four of the Air temples’

There are other ways to communicate without going through or the continent, but it’s hard, especially amongst all these natural disasters. Contact between the Water Poles goes sparse. The Air Nomads still travel around, thanks to their air capabilities, but they have a lot of internal damages, and so must save themselves. (Though like abbeys of old, many parents would travel there AND to other abbeys in the hopes that they could ‘dedicate their children to its service’ and have at least some of their children survive). The Fire Nation could handle some volcano damage but not this much - they still function but are heavily damaged.

(This leaves 4 ‘Havens’ so far - SWT, NWT, Air Nomads, Fire Nation).

Republic City is far enough away from Ba Sing Se that they didn’t get the worst of the effects, but it wasn’t easy either. I think it would all be very tense, but survivable.

I think the coast along foggy swamp, Kyoshi island and the large islands off the southern coast would be okay. Maybe Zaofu too. Of course, they would be subject to raids from the last ‘haven’.

The Pirate ‘fifth nation’ would rise again. Notably, due to lumber issues from the earthquakes and forest fires and the loss of lumber and metal mining infrastructure, many new boats (as opposed to ones that survived the cataclysm) would be umiak style and/or constructed from concrete, as limestone and water are still easy to find without too much trade.

Yes, I’m basing this more off pre-spirit portal opening geography, but just bear with me. (SUB-THEORY: people return to living on lion turtles!)

Let’s get to the people of this matter

I think Korra would’ve died somewhat Roku style. I bet she sensed the meteor coming and did her damndest to soften the blow, but the strain of it killed her. She definitely saved a lot of people by slowing its fall, but even the avatar can only do so much.

Which means that Mea (mysterious earth avatar) and her twin Lat (lost avatar twin) were born in the wake of the New World. Their mom was a sand bender who was visiting the Foggy Swamp nation at the time of the meteorite. As people are wont to do in panic, she and a swampbender got together and had the twins.

Unfortunately, they realize they aren’t meant to be by the time the kids are a few months old, and additionally, rumors are spinning across the land that any new avatar that would arise would be hunted and killed by any new leaders of the havens. Avatars are meant to be uniters - many who have risen to power feel that avatars would DESTROY their regime (I’m trying to fit in as many beats of the original instagram post as possible).

People are already looking amongst populations with even a bit of Earthbending ancestry using the directional geomancy. (See below)

Earth Avatars were traditionally identified by directional geomancy, a series of rituals designed to winnow through the largest and most populous of the four nations as efficiently as possible. A special set of bone trigrams was cast and interpreted by the earthbending masters, ruling out half the Earth Kingdom as the location of the newborn Avatar. This ritual was repeated in the remaining territory, with the possible locations shrinking by halves each time until the searchers were brought to the doorstep of the Earth Avatar child.

And unfortunately, Mea is showing the ability to bend both earth and fire, the next element on the cycle.

Panicking, they run to a local powerful spirit and ask it to to bind her powers - get her stuck on just firebending until she can at least defend herself and people get disillusioned and think that maybe the earth avatar died in infancy and start looking for a fire avatar.

The spirit, who is a bit overzealous to be messing with Raava, accidentally blocks her other abilities until she can only waterbend. And then promptly disappears when it realizes that it fucked up.

The parents, still panicking, decide to split up Parent Trap style (though I didn’t think they’ll get back together). Swampbender dad takes Mea and heads to the SWT, because he figures once she’s a little older and hardier they can go to the spirit portal there and find someone to fix this. And Sandbender mom takes Lat and returns to the desert, where her family has unearthed an underground library tower with a dead owl spirit inside …

Mea is raised as a water bender for a while, and finds out the truth when she’s 14. She and her dad travel to the portal that year, and her dad has to stay in the spirit world as payment for her bending being fixed (thus getting the adults out of the way). She is told to go to her mother.

Which is how we get an earth avatar who sucks at earthbending (my headcanon) and a mysterious twin, Lat.

And since I think Mea is a transgirl and Lat is a transboy, and both know they’re twins but have not heard the news, neither thinks the other is their twin until at least an episode after they meet once again.

Ok hear me out: Avatar Avatar AU!

The Southern Water Tribe are equivalent to the Omaticaya Na'avi. The Fire Nation/Ozai's interests are equivalent to the mining company.

I'll toss in some A/B/O for funsies and say that the reason that Fire Nation scientists need to use the Avatar program is because it's practically impossible to have meaningful communication and get the SWT to trust them when they're scentless, subgenderless, and lack the ability to understand and use social cues that are reliant on A/B/O features like scenting and scents, sub gender dynamics, etc... Basically instead of being blue and ten feet tall, the Avatars take on the A/B/O sub gender that they would be *if* they were Water Tribe so that they can effectively communicate.

The Company that is attempting to mine the SWT territory is the Sozin Corporation... and Ozai sends Zuko to the Avatar program in disgrace, still burnt (but perhaps for another reason this time.)

And from there on out, well... I know what happens but I won't be sharing quite yet. I call it... Avatar squared...

When you have Allah by your side, you stop worrying about finding the “right timing” to do something. You stop worrying about what others will think or say because you find yourself in a position that Allah has put you in, He has decreed for things to happen and movements to be made. Everything is willed by Him and written by the greatest of planners. Whatever is meant to be for you, will be. Fiha Khair, there is goodness in everything and His plan is greater. May Allah swt grant us happiness and may our hearts become numb towards what isn’t meant for us and bring us closer to what is meant for us. May He grant us what our hearts desire. If somebody comes repenting to Allah we never close the door on them. Allah SWT says that tell those servants of mine who have transgressed against themselves don't lose hope in His mercy. So the doors of forgiveness are always open. All you've got to do is come back to Him.

learn more knowledge & be consistent with studying; learn the names of Allah swt

work on self-confidence & stop being a watered down version of myself in front of others (this might be the hardest one honestly)

be more of a planner and organize my days - time management
