Summary:reader being just of Roma and Bellamy try’s to prove he always wants you

You stood off to the side, arms crossed tightly as you watched Bellamy laugh. The way his eyes crinkled when he smiled, the way Roma leaned in just a little too close. It should’ve been fine. Roma was part of the 100, just another survivor. But there was something about her that made you feel uneasy, especially when it came to Bellamy.

You had always been close with Bellamy, your bond stronger than most. But lately, every time Roma came around, it felt like she was trying to steal your attention, and it was working.

“Everything alright?” Clarke’s voice pulled you out of your thoughts, and you gave her a tight smile.

“Yeah, just… tired,” you muttered, but your eyes never left Bellamy and Roma.

Clarke followed your gaze. “Don’t let it bother you. Bellamy knows you’re his priority.”

You sighed, trying to shake off the feeling. “I know, but… it just gets to me sometimes.”

Clarke placed a hand on your shoulder. “You’ve got to trust him. Roma’s just being friendly. Bellamy’s not interested in her like that.”

You nodded, though the knot in your stomach didn’t loosen. You watched as Bellamy and Roma shared another laugh. It wasn’t that you didn’t trust Bellamy—it was just… hard to ignore how easily Roma fit in with everyone, how natural she seemed in the group, how she laughed at all the right times. It was something you could never seem to do. You were always on the outside looking in.

Bellamy finally turned around, meeting your gaze. His expression softened as he caught the tension in your posture. Without a word, he excused himself from Roma and made his way toward you.

As soon as he was close enough, you didn’t care anymore. The words just spilled out.

“Why do you hang out with her so much?” you blurted, your voice a little sharper than you intended.

Bellamy raised an eyebrow, stepping closer to you. “What’s going on, [Y/N]?”

You shifted uncomfortably, but didn’t back down. “I don’t know… I just can’t shake the feeling that maybe you’re… maybe you like her more than me.”

Bellamy’s eyes softened with understanding. He cupped your face gently, tilting your chin up to meet his gaze. “Hey,” he said softly, his voice filled with sincerity. “I don’t like her more than you. You’re the one I care about. I’m with you, always.”

“But she’s always around,” you muttered, glancing at Roma, who was now speaking to someone else in the distance.

Bellamy smiled, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “I can’t help that she’s in the group. But I’m here for you. And I’m not going anywhere.”

You bit your lip, not entirely convinced, but you wanted to believe him.

“I’ll prove it,” he whispered, closing the distance and placing a kiss on your forehead, a promise that despite the lingering tension, you were still his.
