Okay what the fuck were the organisers thinking

The seine would never be safe

You initially thought it was okay

You knew you were swallowing a bit of water but you didn’t feel too bad

Washing your mouth out with your drink bottles as much as you could.

And any food

But you knew inevitably some had ended up in your system

But you’d been promised that it would be okay

You got out, after winning and feeling okay

You hugged max, tried to keep warm in your towel as you greeted everyone, doing your interviews

As you got changed you started to feel a little unwell, but brushed it off as you’d seen others vomiting and that was likely just triggering your gag reflex

You somehow got through the podium

Barely opening your mouth other than to say thank you, fearing that all your foods would come over the officials

You valued your dignity

It would not happen

And then media

And you opened your mouth to answer the question

And had to just turn around and vomited on another passer bys feet

Little gross

Max was almost immediately there

He was a little annoyed at how easily he could reach you without an official pass but that was easily ignored with how pale you looked and how you almost staggered into his hold

It’s okay, it’s okay

He accompanies you to the medical tent

Where ¾ of the race is

And unfortunately your medal does nothing to get you further up in that line

Max gives up and carries you back to the olympic village to get medical attention

It probably takes just as long but at least you can curl up in your own bed

Basically after Seb's retirement (Come back, bee whisperer...) he sets up a small archery practice place in his backyard for Reader and sometimes you can see it in the background of his Insta posts. People speculate he's trying it out himself but he says it's actually for someone special instead and refuses to elaborate like the bastard man (affectionate) he is. The rest is up to your imagination!
