She watches him intently, a soft smile upon her face as she heard that he’s farm hand but also a mechanic. “How useful, I bet you’re never out of work-“ she giggles softly, taking a drag on her cigarette, watching the ash hang onto the edge of the paper. “I too am a mechanic, though I’m pretty rusty with American cars, I’m better with motorcycles honestly.” She hums, crossing her legs, watch her feet sway side to side.

She thinks momentarily. “I suppose I gotta check Texas ou’ in the win’er, surely can’t be as bad as England, shit goes down to like… minus five? Oh hang on fuck yall use Fahrenheit.. I don’t fuckin know.” She laughs, giving up her attempt to translate their temperature difference.

"Between that an' helpin' with the Family Business... Keeps me busy." Johnny nodded before raising a brow in her direction, looking surprised and impressed, "Damn, would'a never guessed, but I could see it. Gotta be able ta take care'a yer wheels after all."

He couldn't help laughing along, boisterous and maybe a little obnoxious with his laugh but that was just how it was. Highly amused by her giving up on figuring out their different uses of degrees.

"Eh, don' worry about it. Jus' know it's cold ta us, but prolly not as bad ta y'all." He offered before finishing off his cigarette, blowing it out through his nose and dropping it to the ground to stub out with the heel of his boot. "So, what's the plan now? Gettin' late out, need me ta show ya 'round ta some places ta stay or eat?"

The Nephil still had to test this out and see if she was allowed to travel to the other rings, a privilege reserved for hellborn like imps and hellhounds.

“I work at the library a couple blocks from here. This coffee shop is between there and my apartment, so it’s a nice spot to stop in for a bite.” Silver chuckled softly, giving a gentle swirl of her own coffee. “I suppose I’m still pretty new to Hell. I arrived down here about 4 months ago. It’s admittedly taken some time to settle into the new lifestyle, but it’s feeling more normal now. We must have missed each other in passing until today.”

Silver took a moment to take a sip of her own coffee before smiling brightly to her new companion. “How about you? What’s your story?”

" What brings you out today ? " her southern accent filled the room, warm and sweet like honey.

An unexpected encounter like this could lead to a potential adventure, friendship or client. Either way Millie was open to possibilities coming her way.

" Coffee ain't too bad here and it's close enough to places " Millie was not great at small talk, she hoped she was doing it right.

Taking a sip of her bitter coffee, Millie was giving Silver an opportunity to save them both from her small talk attempts

She glances around, noticing they reached the end of the line of the carnival games, barely anyone around. She smiles slightly. “I like how it’s a little quiet.. gives me more time to thank you for the bear..” she giggles, looking up at his tall figure.

“Tell me more about yourself Johnny- you’re awfully interesting- I quite like to know more..” she mumbles, sitting down in a nearby abandoned bench, patting the spot next to her.

"Heh, no need ta thank me. Was honestly fun gettin' ta smash somethin' hard 'nough ta make it sing an' gain a prize from it." Johnny smiled back with a wink, "Little stress relief, if ya will."

He followed her over to the bench, taking a seat and throwing an arm over the back while glancing around. It really was quiet, just a few milling around with snacks or prizes coming to the end of the line and then turning back around to the main areas of the carnival.

"Well... Suppose I like bein' elbows deep in a vehicle, either fixin' it or guttin' it fer parts ta sell while listening ta some quiet country music on the radio in the background. Lil side hobby'a mine, nothin' fancy." He shrugged.

*There's a knock at IMPs front door, and on the other side was a strangely human looking person. he was about 5'6, had a brown backpack, an angelic steel revolver holstered on his hip, and was leaning on an angelic steel bat. whoever he was, he was experienced.*

Blitz cautiously turned the doorknob, feeling the cold metal under his fingertips, and pushed the heavy wooden door open. He half-expected to see an unkempt demon waiting to get someone killed. Instead, he was taken aback when he was greeted by the sight of someone who, at first glance, appeared to be human. The dim light filtered through the dusty air, casting eerie shadows on the figure before him. Although the figure seemed human, Blitz's instincts immediately put him on edge. His jaw tightened, and his hand instinctively inched towards the grip of his holstered gun, a subtle but unmistakable sign of his wariness.

"And who are you? More importantly, why are you here?"

The Imp's voice echoed in the empty room, filled with an air of suspicion and curiosity. It was clear that he was eager to understand the presence and purpose of the individual standing before him.
