INGREDIENTS

½ cup sugar | ¾ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

½ cup melted butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1¼ cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon baking soda

4 ounces milk

Semi-sweet chocolate chunks 4 ounces dark chocolate chunks (or your preference)

👩‍🍳 Let's get baking,

Whisk or beat the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste has formed with no lumps.

Whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk.

Sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula. Do not overmix.

Fold in the chocolate chunks evenly, then chill the dough for about 30 minutes.

Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet, leave at least 4 inches of space between cookies so that the cookies can spread evenly.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until a the edges become light brown.

Cool completely and enjoy!

my brother's moving away for 6 years tonight right and we're playing a family board game w uncle Bob and he just remembered for the first time there the other day that he's actually my brother's godfather and we were joking around and my brother said he should've made apple crumble to see him off, because he's known for making it so well and he makes it so randomly and rarely, and uncle Bob like. ran out the back door into his own house nextdoor without expl. and it turns out he whipped one up and put it in the oven in less than 10 minutes so that my brother could eat it before he has to leave for the airport
