Employing a Veteran
Photo by Benjamin Faust I decided to write this article based on the typical behaviour of the new entitled generation or “snowflakes” that are now in the workplace, giving managers like me a hard time. In my current role I am actively employing veterans and demonstrating the terrific benifits. I want to champion the benefits of employing a veteran. To keep things straight, I write this from…

I'm genderqueer and AFAB but wish I was AMAB(especially since medical transition isn't a possibility for me) and I find it hilarious when people say "you should be grateful, if you were AMAB you'd have to sign up for the draft"
Hun, I'm disabled in multiple ways, currently have a long term injury, have seeked mental health help, and even outside of my disabilities couldn't pass a fitness test. I couldn't join the military if I wanted to.

I had to look up didius julianus after my wife proposed him as a cat namesake (to be fair, mostly bc it lends itself to the nickname “didi “), and I gotta say, buying the office of Roman emperor after the praetorian guard killed the last guy is just a phenomenally stupid move.

Another Magic card I saw in a dream and couldn't stop thinking about.
Tumblr media
What is "an event occurring"? Well, in my dream when I played this card in Arena, it gave me like a thousand different options of things to happen. The only one I remember is making three 6/6 creature tokens. So yeah, it's a pretty strong card.
Even in my dream I knew it was busted, so much so that I woke up in the dream and, in the outer layer of the dream immediately went to look up if that card was actually real, which it still was.

Lilly not only expressed a desire to transition, but also expressed how difficult it would be to acquire care through the military - as trans service-members aren’t treated equally, and often care is declined or delayed.

Stepping Into Civilian Shoes? What To Keep In Mind
“MILITARY TIMES” By Blake Stillwell “Veterans are quickly becoming a bigger part of the American population. We now make up slightly more than 10 percent of the U.S. population but there are many, many more civilians. Along with all the other things you need to know about getting out of the military, now we need you to learn how to not be in the military anymore. You’re in for some culture…
