I could just put all that I'd change from canon in one big post or a series of long posts but for me I'd feel dissatisfied with that so

Sorry if you've answered something like this before but what does Cryptid Eclipse think about babies? Idk I just get the feeling they'd be SOO gentle if they held one and would adore them whole heartedly (haha)

The circumstances either being, finding the baby accidentally lost or the parent(s) allow them to hold da baby for a little bit. Maybe a kid Eclipse played with got a younger sibling that they get to meet

Meanwhile y/n sneaks a few pictures and Vanessa contemplates why anyone would ever like babies.

Vanessa: What's the big deal? All they do is cry and make messes and-

Oh yeah, the cryptid boys adore babies! It's rare for them to have an encounter with one, but when they do, they cherish how small they are and the almost radiating pureness of the infant's tiny little heartbeat. If they could, they'd snuggle one all day.

Y/N is a touch nervous around babies as they are just so vulnerable and dependent on a caregiver—it makes them feel anxious like they need to work twice as hard to protect them (even if said baby isn't in any danger.)

Vanessa would refuse to hold one. She doesn't want to hear a baby crying.

It brings back bad memories of children's sobs.

Even after returning to the human realm, where she was supposed to feel safe, Luz still faces danger in her dreams. She is haunted by who she helped, what she failed to do, and what she now must hide.

Her nightmares are no exception. And after a gruesome one leaves Luz awake and shaking, she can't break out of her lingering panic.
