being in the batim fandom is a dual edged sword because on one hand there’s so many amazing cool people here creating amazing content but on the other hand i’ll be reading the most interesting delectable fic and get to the end of the chapter count only to find the author stopped updating SEVEN YEARS AGO and never finished and i’ve been reading something written in 2017 from the og fandom and now i must live dissatisfied with never knowing how it ends
