If that really were Will’s new love interest, I think we would all have to call into question the writing abilities of the Duffers and the ST writing team. This is not about shipping wars or anything like that. (Obviously we all want Byler endgame and believe in it here). But beyond that, this genuinely wouldn’t make sense from a storytelling perspective? To double down on Will’s overwhelming feelings for Mike in season 4 and then suddenly introduce another random queer kid to be Will’s love interest in the apocalypse? Surely no one believes this would make any sense 😭

whenever there are multiple ways a scene or storyline could be analyzed that make about the same amount of sense I am always always always going to buy into the more interesting and compelling option writing wise unless proven otherwise by the show bc literally why would I not?? yes this is about mike’s monologue.

Writing Will's POV is so much easier than writing Mike's — actually I have no idea how to write any other POV than Will's. I'm saying this as Mike Wheeler's No.1 Fan here. HOW DOES MIKE POV WORK????
