✰ . angst, i hate rosa, i hope this is as sad for you reading it as it was for me writing it, vyn is so beautiful i cant get over him ever augh, kinda short i just wanted to create something (hopefully) diabolically sad, i wrote this at 6 am so its super bad leave me alone

you and vyn had been friends, and nothing more. you loved him terribly, but he had his eyes all over rosa. and you hated it. but what can you do? its helpless. hes in love with her like a man whos been lovesick all his life, and theres nothing you can do to change that.

While you loved your friendship with Vyn, you also loved him. You loved his shiny platinum hair, his beautiful golden eyes, and his charming personality. You were in love with him, truly.

What you did not love, is the way he constantly spoke of Rosa. It had gotten so frequent that you couldn’t have one conversation without him bringing her up. You hated it. He’d spend so much time with her that he hardly made time to spend with his own “best friend”. It didnt feel like you were friends anymore. Let alone best friends. When he wasn’t with her, he was working. And when he wasn’t working, he was with her. He was never with you. He hardly even talked to you anymore. What a jerk.

You hated her. After all, she had stolen the man of your dreams right from your very palms. How could you not hate her? She was everything he wanted, and everything you despised.

Eventually, you began to hate him too. You hated how he’d always abandon you for her like it was second nature. You hated how his every thought, word, and action all danced around her. But most of all, you hated how you loved him. How you wished he would hold you, kiss you, and do everything for you instead of her. When you’d see them together, talking and laughing, looking at each other with that longing, loving look, and never once looking away, you couldn’t help but think about how nice it would be for you to be standing there in front of him instead of her.

Sometimes, you’d even wish that she would break his heart so terribly that he’d come crying to you and realize he loved you more all along, as terrible as that may seem.

You spent most of your sleepless nights staring at the ceiling, a wall, or anything that wouldn’t remind you of him, to no avail. Your thoughts would always drift to him and the moments you’d spent together before it all came crashing down after Rosa walked into your lives. You’d sob at how you hated him for making you feel this way, and how you hated her for taking the only thing you’d ever truly wanted.

Alas, it can’t be helped.

Even as someone who generally doesn't compare both games, this is getting out of hand. My like or dislike for the game has nothing to do with recognizing where the devs actually spend some effort and show appreciation by giving back to the playerbase. At this rate, I'm 100% sure HSR first anniversary will have a 5* selector while Genshin even after 4 years won't.

It's high time Genshin fandom stops pandering to Mihoyo and emptying their wallets for every new character, if Mihoyo continues this shit treatment then they'll never deserve a penny from me even if Signora comes back (yes I have been f2p since launch in Genshin). This fandom needs to give Mihoyo a drastic revenue drop for a few patches rather than complaining in feedbacks and posts like this.

The only language Mihoyo understands is money now, gone are the days when they cared for quality like in hi3. Geez the blatant discrimination is actually unbelievable to me, who tf manages both of these games wtf is happening
