I got to spend a couple of hours with my watercolours and coloured pencils drawing and painting Cuervo from the Museum by Sktchy app. I’ve got a migraine today but I find drawing for an hour or two helps me to focus and forget the pain, at least for a little while, so long as I have enough natural light to work by (I can’t cope with artificial light or too bright natural light).

➡️ Stay in Bed.⬅️ I wish I'd been able to do this today... I woke up feeling dizzy and "off" which progressed to an ocular migraine. Have you ever had one of those?? Weirdness is what it is. 😯 My vision was distorted, with zigzag-like blurry lines (and sometimes a bit of rainbow-ish flashes in the zigs and zags). 🌈 And a headache, but not as severe as a normal migraine headache. The vision disturbance (aka aura) didn't last long, maybe an hour or so. At least this wasn't my first day at the rodeo with this, but it's still kind of disconcerting when it happens.
