my lab rats hyperfixation came back and i've been doing some thinking ever since

so from the start of the show there have been multiple references to comic book heroes especially dc references

(leo saying "my new dad is batman" in the first episode and douglas calling chase "boy wonder", referencing to robin)

well since mighty med ans lab rats take place in the same universe, mighty med characters are also comic book characters and dc is a comic book series, are they in the same universe?

no because imagine superman and tecton in the same room😭😭

or bruce with his "brucie" wayne personality being "friends" with donald davenport(they cant stand eachother)

donald davenport would 100% sell his inventions to lex luthor for a really pricy deal

or chase, bree, adam and leo going to same school with tim, bernard and darla lmao

i think adam would listen and add onto bernards theories(leo would call him delusional but also would be interested)

bernard made a theory about them being bionic but darla shut it down('i told you so' and 'aha i knew it!' were the first things he said when he found out about the truth)

darla would absolutely eat trent up i just know it

young justice and elite force team up with tim and bree/chase seeing eachother and going like the spiderman meme

damian and leo being friends(lethal duo warning!!)

talia and horace both know eachother from being in the same field(medical) they are the type of friends who say hi and talk like 4 hours when they run into eachother but then dont talk until the next time

bree would've loved exploring her girlhood with cass, steph, harper and babs(and darla) since she never got to

marcus, taylor, rose and jason would get along very well and love talking shit about their fathers🥰

i think daniel would love duke(they played video games together later on duke let daniel absorb his powers and tried to teach him how to control it exactly)

taylor, damian, leo is a trio i would die to see tbh i think they would get along well

cassandra and skylar teaming up with eachother would be absolutely amazing. i think they would work together so well

Okay so this is an alternate universe that allows this crack ship to happen:

In my other AU I’ve been writing it’s implied that Kai will go on to be a mechanic at an Auto shop in the Bayveiw Mall in Seaford and a part time sensei for the Dragons.

In my Lab Rats AU Douglas has already saved Marcus’ bits from the rubble and hid them away from Crane. He thinks fixes him up and he slowly grows close with his family and he and Leo both make up a new team with Taylor and that himbo.

Here in this crack universe Leo’s team gets sent to Seaford for a year to figure out some mission. Marcus breaks his bike and meets Kai in his shop. They get into an argument about something stupid. Then they keep bumping into one another, obviously Seafords pretty small looking. Marcus gets obsessed obviously cause Kai keeps threatening him like Marcus couldn’t just Laser him into pieces. Who wouldn’t be obsessed with someone who can stare a killing machine right into its death eyes and threaten to punch right in between there.

Marcus never is pushy after he realizes he has a crush and just has goo-goo eyes that pisses Leo off. They actually talk sometimes and bond over cars, music, guitars, and dad issues. Eventually they get to the point where Marcus is given’ him the hand kissy and stuff ( consensually ofc) but Kai is still behaving like his normal bitchy self. He will never stop being that way and Marcus loves it. What happens after that… I dunno bruh it’s a crack ship with a loose plot.

These guys are so fun to draw and I don’t like drawing the kissy or romance stuff ( again with me projecting my personal feelings on romance to my OCs and AUs my bad lmao)

I think this ship is actually an original experience just like the MBAV Scream AU…. Man my brain is sick asf. TUBULAR!!!

So a while ago I posted my vigilante Marcus+Dani designs, today I drew a little more for them:

So basically in this au (called "a house built of living light", or AHBOLL), Marcus survives Bionic Showdown & goes to Megahertz for help w repairs. Long story short, Marcus gets attached and becomes a villain/anti-villain. But they realize they can't stay bc Douglas is still out there & Marcus wants revenge.

But Marcus also realizes they can't go against the Davenports alone, & so hatches up a scheme to hit Douglas where it hurts: turn his youngest child--who doesn't yet know he exists--against him. And you can probably guess how it goes from there...
