Hi, for the fic ask game, in the midsummer universe :
14, 21 and a very self indulgent 27
Thank you, I loooooove your writing!
14.Who does fashion shows after a mall trip and who watches and compliments them?
Bojan does fashion shows and Jere stares with heart eyes. Bojan is also the one that sends a million pictures of their new stage fits and for someone with a pretty limited ability with the english language, Jere sure does come up with a LOT of compliments.
21.Which of their friends/family pokes fun at them for them getting flustered/affectionate?
For Bojan, all of Joker Out. There are different flavors, but they all find great fun in the way Bojan gets flustered so easily(especially when Jere's around). Jere is also fully aware of this and doesn't mind when his boyfriend blushes like a schoolgirl. Kris is, however, Bojan's #1 bully[affectionate]
Jere himself embraces it when someone tries to poke fun at him when he's being affectionate. His default answer is "yes i kiss and cuddle my boyfriend. and?" which takes a lot of the fun out of it for the (loving) bullies. Thus Elina moves on to bully Bojan because his reactions are more fun.
Mikke will groan and roll his eyes whenever he sees too much PDA, but it gets less and less serious as time passes.
27.Who would propose? What would their wedding be like?
Now this one os a headache of mine. Because I know for sure they'd both plan on it, it's more about who manages to do it first(probably Jere because Bojan is a little ball of anxiety and would take too long to try and think of every possible outcome, while Jere's more like "it's a yes or yes question we WILL get married")
I feel like their wedding would be quite small and intimate. The closest of family and friends. Not a "rustic romantic" type of barnwedding but something a bit more modern. They'll leave the tull and jute cord details and lantern centerpieces to someone else.
But it would be in two parts. The "official" one in Finland, and then a second party in Slovenia. Mainly because not everyone can make the trip between the two countries.
Thanks for the ask!

✨ A mood board to my new Pyramus and Thisbe inspired Loscar AU ✨
“I didn’t know his name, not for the first 2 years, before that, I had called him Pyramus and he called me Thisbe. It had meant to be a joke, I believe, an ironic thing because we were talking through the crack in the wall like the lovers of Babylon did. Then when we began to meet under a mulberry tree in Hyde Park I wonder if fate took our joke too seriously then.”

No chapter today because even though yesterday netted over 1000 words, it was 1000 over five stories and that wasn't enough for a full chapter. So today you get another AU.
Steve is the foundling child of Titania and Oberon. You know, that thing that little issue they fighting over at the beginning of "A Midsummer's Night's Dream"? They make a habit of it over the years and Steve is their latest.
And like before, Titania is gifted the baby when the mother dies in child birth, and Oberon wants him to be his servant. They set up house in Hawkins because that's where Steve was born. Father is who knows. Didn't care enough to stick around.
Steve's childhood isn't exactly idyllic, not with them still fighting over him, but it's a good life nonetheless, never really wanting for anything. And even though he's still human, hanging out with the king and queen of the faeries is going to rub off you in a lot of ways.
So once he hits puberty, it's like he was hit with the pretty stick. Everyone starts fawning over him.
He gets to high school and clocks Eddie. He walks right up to him and says, "I know what you are, who you are. And you better stay the hell away from me unless you want to die." And walks off.
Eddie is confused as hell.
Fast forward to Vecna and they defeat him. Only Titania is pissed. Because if there is anything that could entice the Queen of Faeries and that's a pretty young man. Like say...Henry Creel?
A non-munched on Eddie and the rest of the party is staring at the king and queen in shock. Because (and let's sprinkle in a little "The Sandman" in here for funsies) Titania gifted Henry control over the abandoned realm of Destruction to play in when El banished him there by accident.
Steve's pissed and picks up his nail bat. He tells them that he's human enough for the iron nails not to hurt him, but he can't say the same for them.
He takes off his shirt and sprouts wings, god damned, honest to God, faerie wings. He walks over to Eddie presses a kiss on his lips and says, "I hope you forgive me." And he leaps into battle with them.
The party is confused as hell. Well almost everyone. Eddie and Robin are cursing up a storm.
The party has no idea who the two new problems are.
"Oberon and Titania," Eddie breathes. "That son of bitch."
Dustin is "What!"
Everyone else is "Who?"
And so he explains "A Midsummer's Nights Dream" to them and they all get it now.
"Faeries don't exist!" Mike sneers.
"Yes they do!" Robin says. "My great, great, great grandmother was a faerie!"
Eddie face palms. "Let me guess, a lot of bird and flower names in your family?"
She nods excitedly.
"How did you find out about Steve? Because you weren't surprised when he faeried out," Eddie says.
"Russian truth serum," she says proudly. "Not so great on humans, works surprisingly well on the fae. Who knew?"
There is a lot of yelling at that, but Eddie shuts them up. "And you're okay with that?"
She shrugs and holds up her hands. "Apparently me being gay wasn't the biggest reveal on the floor of the bathroom."
The party erupts again.
Eddie looks over their shoulders to see that Steve is struggling against his foster parents.
"Robin, I need you to boost me," he says seriously.
"Oh hell no!" she screams at him. "I know who you are, and they will kill you."
He thumbs over his shoulder at Steve. "You want him to fight them by himself?"
Robin sighs. "No."
He backs up to run, but she stops him.
"Take off your boots!"
Eddie frowns. "Why?"
"You're not going to need them," she replies, "and I'm not touching those muddy monstrosities."
Eddie throws his hands in the air and immediately starts yanking at his laces. He pulls them off and thrusts them at Dustin. He takes Steve's ax from him.
"Is this cold iron?" Eddie asks.
"It's steel," Dustin says.
Eddie purses his lips. "Is. This. Cold. Iron?"
Dustin shrugs. "As close as you can get in this day and age, I guess."
Eddie nods. He's muttering to himself about how long it's been since he's done this and how the wood of the ax handle should protect him.
Nancy rushes forward and places her hand on his chest. "Just what are you planning?"
Eddie pushes her off him. "Helping Steve."
He looks to Robin and she nods. He takes off his leather jacket and hands it to Nancy. Then he runs at Robin. He leaps on her interlaced hands and she boosts him into the air.
He whirls and spins in mid-air, sprouting blood red wings. His hands and feet, taint black. Horns unfurl from the top of his head.
"Whoa!" Lucas says. "Is Eddie a faerie, too?"
Robin shakes her head. "No. No one knows for sure what he is. Sometimes he's on the side of the king and queen, sometimes he's not. Right now and for the last few centuries decidedly, not."
"So who is he?" Will asks in awe as he watches Eddie make turns and weaves as he joins the fight against Oberon and Titania.
"He has many names," Robin says solemnly. "Hobgoblin, Robin Goodfellow, or more commonly? Puck."
Dustin's eyes go wide and his mouth drops.
"You guys are so fucking lucky that he likes you," Robin says bitterly.
Dustin can only agree.
*
Steve and Eddie win and everyone is back at the Wheeler basement and they all have questions. Lots and lots.
The first thing anyone says is Eddie. "You being a foundling of the fae makes all of Steve in high school make so much sense."
Steve looks down and blushes.
"How so?" Max asks.
Eddie starts counting off on his fingers, "The douchebag persona, the house parties usually at someone else's house, and if they were at his house, Tommy would buy the weed, the everyone fawning over you, and that hell of a warning, it was all so that I wouldn't come over to your house, wasn't it?"
"What now?" Mike asks.
Steve clears his throat. "He's right. If Pu-I mean Eddie came over to my house, he would immediately know who my parents were, and they would be able to sense who Eddie was. And since Eddie was going through high school I wasn't about to narc on him and get him killed."
"Oh my god, I dated a fucking faerie!" Nancy cries.
And the room goes silent. Will looks at his shoes and Jonathan glares at her.
She stops for a second. "Oh god! Not like that. Although maybe a little like that considering Steve kissed Eddie, but I meant a literal faerie."
Steve shrugs. "I like either."
Jonathan frowns. "Wait, how did Nancy escape the faerieness? Because seriously, compared to that--" he waves at Steve, "I'm nothing."
Steve shrugs again. "Grief. Or trauma. I'm only a human raised by faeries, I'm not really one myself. Yeah, I've got the wings and the glamour of a faerie but I'm not one."
"Is there an Eddie Munson?" Dustin asks.
Eddie half shrugs. "Yeah, him and his father are out boosting cars in Texas."
Erica eyes him skeptically. "And the guy you've been saying is your uncle, what is he?"
"A lonely man who wanted kids of his own," Eddie says softly, "who knew that if Eddie stayed in his father's care would turn out just like him. So I pretended to be Eddie for him. I made sure there was always enough food to go on the table and roof over our heads. If he got low on money, a shift at the plant would open up for him to take or the reversing of a bank error."
Everyone fell silent.
*
And that's all I have for the moment, this is just me info dumping. But maybe some day I'll expand on this.
Tagging because for some reason not a lot of people saw this yesterday.

the sheevery ends and the shenanakins begin????
This is one of my oldest fics--I believe I wrote the part I'm gonna share here about two years before I even got an AO3 account! It's sort of an introduction story to the Problem Children AU, a fix-it where the Clone Wars ended, the Jedi saved the galaxy, and the fight for clone rights was won in a frankly ridiculous way...
---
To literally everyone’s surprise, though, the thing that truly reached the people was not an Amidalan speech. It was not a dramatic act of heroism and humanity. It was not the work of a thousand voices crying out for justice. It was a single pen on flimsi. It was a young woman with flights of fancy and a fluttering heart.
It was a book.
And not just any book. A really, genuinely, honestly trashy flimsiback penny-store romance novel, full of purple prose and gratuitous descriptions of fancy outfits.
And it was about the Jedi.
More specifically, it was a romance between a “Twi’lek Knight of ethereal beauty” and a “bold yet caring clone commander”, also starring a blatant Dooku expy as the villain and a ridiculous portrayal of the Jedi life and culture. It was called Remember the Midsummer Night, and it was a smash hit.
The Author’s Note was what really hit home with the people: it told the story of the author’s experience in the war. She claimed she owed her life to a Jedi and a clone “working together in perfect synchronization, like a droid-destroying dance”, and that it inspired her to write a story based on the experience. She followed it with a plea to fellow victims and survivors, to remember what sacrifices the clones made, and to honor them as they should be honored—as people, not cannon fodder.
(Regardless, ever since that book came out, Aayla Secura has been using a “You Will Die By My Hand If You Even Think About Mentioning That Accursed Novel” glare on giggling initiates and Skywalkers, a compilation video of Bly being flustered called Proof Clones Aren't Emotionless Meat Droids appeared on the Holonet, and of course Anakin memorized long passages of the book to quote them at inappropriate moments. What was he supposed to do, not recite the main character’s five-page inner monologue about how handsome her clone commander was in the middle of a council meeting?! Puh-lease.)
And it didn’t stop there. There had always been holofilms and novels featuring fanciful depictions of Jedi, but from the moment Remember the Midsummer Night hit the shelves, “Jedi Romance” became its own genre. The copycat books that followed the original publication were progressively worse. Publicly, the Jedi refused to comment on the stories, but privately…
Well, the Jedi Council meetings (which had begun to feel rather long and empty after the chaos of the war ended) became the Jedi trashy book club.
(Most members of the council weren’t aware Master Windu could laugh until Yoda read aloud a particularly painful passage from Heart of a Hero in the way only Yoda could and Master Windu fell out of his chair, tears streaming down his face, clutching his sides. To be fair, the rest of the council were in similar positions.)
(Anakin loved being on the council.)

Midsummer Moment
Another TADC Faerie!AU installment. A little something for the Summer Solstice.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Shades of vanilla and rose ribboned the horizon as stars began to peak their heads though the darkening sky; they were witnesses to the boisterous festivities below. Music and laughter muddled and mixed in the sea of swaying bodies. Despite the large crowd and summer heat, no one seemed to break a sweat. Pomni felt like she was the exception.
Sweat gathered at the base of her neck and made the back of her jumpsuit stick. Pieces of her dark hair stuck to the sides of her face. She already abandoned her mushroom cap on some tree branch to relieve herself of heat. (It would appear again in some convenient place, courtesy of an enchantment placed by Caine). The humidity stubbornly latched onto her skin and made her already exhausting evening even more unpleasant. She was half tempted to sneak off to the lake and soak in it's cool waters. She knew, however, that Caine wouldn't let anyone go off on their own tonight.
It was Midsummer, "One of the grandest and greatest celebrations for faeries!" as Caine had put it. And he insisted that everyone join. Zooble almost got away with a quiet evening alone, but Caine caught them in their shapeshifted form-a blackbird- before they could get away. In protest, Zooble remained at the edge of the festivities, this time as a wolf, snapping at anyone who got too close. Pomni followed similar suit by standing near a table of treats away from the dancing.
The table was filled with an array of glistening pastries, candied fruit, and tasty, savory bites. Bubble outdid himself with an arrangement of small tea cakes to look like a luna moth. Pomni almost swore the cakes that made the wings fluttered ever so slightly off the table. She still couldn't get used to the strangeness of this place.
Once upon a time, when she was human, magical celebrations were found in books and movies. Although her memory of such things were still cloudy, she knew that the party before her was a thousand times more extravagant. It was also more horrifying.
There was something about this revelry that was extremely off-putting. Beneath the smiling faces and sparkles, there was an eerie truth that had yet to be uncovered. Pomni couldn't put her finger on what it was.
"Need a drink?" a kind voice asked. The faerie woman held a cup of something shimmery and pink towards Pomni.
"Thanks, Ragatha," Pomni took the mystery drink graciously and drank down it's saccharine contents.
"No problem," she said sweetly and took her place beside Pomni. Ragatha's cellophane wings twitched slightly as she looked up. A few strands of scarlet, yarn-hair came loose from her bun.
"Caine outdid himself tonight, don't you think Pomni?" she chirped. Pomni clutched her clay cup.
"I'm not really one for parties," she confessed awkwardly. They were still trying to figure each other out. They were friendly enough with each other, but they hadn't found that spark of realtibility just yet.
"Oh! That's totally fine! If you need-"
"Excuse me, ladies," Pomni wasn't sure to be thankful or groan at Jax's arrival. His cheshire smile gleamed underneath his shadowy cowl. The keys hanging from his neck clinked merrily.
"Yes, Jax?" Ragatha said politely. From the corner of her eye, Pomni saw Ragatha clutching the sides of her violet dress.
"The little 'shroom owes me a dance," Jax declared. He grabbed Pomni's hand before she could protest and dragged her to the dance floor.
They stumbled upon a group of faeries engaged in a circle dance. Jax practically threw Pomni into their midst, with the other faeries catching her by the hand with ease. He slipped between Pomni and another faerie, not once breaking the dance.
They spun and spun. Time seemed to both be too fast and too slow as they did. Colors became faces and faces became colors. Pomni tried to pull herself away from the dance. Her legs were growing tired and her feet ached terribly. She felt herself slipping towards the floor. Her body was crying out for rest. But hey held onto her like a fly in honey. They wouldn't stop. They couldn't stop.
Pomni finally understood. She would have fun whether she wanted to or not.

okay no still thinking about high school royalty/popular polycule midsummer night's dream au where they're the lovers, (this also goes with my if we were villains adjacent au because it's the same thing but worse)
brooke and chloe running away into the woods to be together, only to be followed by jake who is still in love with chloe, who is followed by rich who is in love with him
(really, it could be any combination of them. jake & chloe and rich & brooke, rich & chloe and jake & brooke, whatever works)
of course the fairies have to interfere with them
and its a popular polycule au, of course theyre going to end up together
