Thing is though-- would Midnight exactly know if Fallenleaf did take away something precious? Unless Sol was originally in her Pantheon she really has no idea where he came from, so she doesn't have any idea what to exactly to teach Fallen. Teaching Fallen Math equations might be Midnight's way in figuring out if the being Fallen locked away is Sol, Star Flower, or something else. If she started off strong she might've taught Fallen the wrong thing then we could of had One-Eye popping up instead of Ashfur at the Lake.

All four gods are from the same pantheon, they're the ones who broke orbit together when the religion ended up splitting into several different groups.

The Lake Religion's death is a good contrast to the Ancestor Rat curse that happened to SkyClan. The Lake Religion split up into several groups and drifted at various points, contributing to Hengest cats, the Guardians, and the Tribe. It didn't have a crumble quite as dramatic as SkyClan's Exile, or a Cloudstar who carried out his life's work even in death.

So Lake... Lakethiesm? Laketheism "died" a standard death. There wasn't a mass collapse, it was split and continued in several groups, the largest of which becoming the Tribe of Endlessness, which also contributed to StarClan. Most of its ancestors fades peacefully, thanks to Half Moon.

So the four seasonal gods are very aware of each other. Midnight and Sol even refer to each other as siblings, but I don't know if it's literal or figurative yet.

And yeah no that means that Midnight is very much dancing around the point, it's not galaxy brain scheming to meaningfully test Fallenleaf. Middy's not really a good planner outside of the mathematic understanding of how physics will interact. She's the least likely of the four to do that, really

The girlie will literally summon a perfect rainstorm to cause a flood and make a branch fall in the water so that two cats will be harmlessly carried to her house because she's lonely and wants company... but be surprised pikachu that one of them saw her badger-face, hissed, and bopped her nose.

She IS good at interacting with Sol though. When he came to ask her about when the True Eclipse was going to happen, she was able to convince him into following some game rules, which he was playing by for all of Po3, HC, and OotS. No mass destruction, no direct murder, no plagues.

So Midnight's not entirely unhelpful. It's just that she really wants to avoid topics that are too heavy, half because some of her questions involve self reflection, half because she is pretty desperate for Fallen and Cinder to not want to leave.

Anders❓and/or Fenris❓ 🥰

Eeeeeeeeeeee okay sure! Anders and Fenris (and Fenders) coming right up!

Anders is constantly trying to convince Fenris (and Merrill) to wear shoes in Kirkwall, but he still massages Fenris’ feet every night and heals any cuts he might’ve gotten during the day.

Fenris learns quite a bit of basic first aid by spending time around Anders’ clinic and his phasing technique has been a life saver more than once (with Anders’ help).

They have several cats. To Anders’ dismay, they tend to prefer Fenris, even though he’s the one who feeds them.

Fenris eventually becomes one of the few people who can soothe a pissed off Justice.

They don’t always get along or agree, but after a while they really try not to fall asleep angry.

Just like they’ve accumulated cats, they eventually take in baby apostates and rescued enslaved children. Of the two, Fenris was more scared to be considered a father, but it’s something Anders has always wanted.

✈ for an airport fashion headcanon  ↴  〔 241w 〕

kangjin’s personal style is a lot different from what he’s put in for interviews or especially the stage performance costumes that often show his midriff or low v cuts to show his middies. he dresses really dignified? lol idk if that’s a good way to describe it but he’s very well put together, muted and clean. nothing to draw too much attention, lots of long trench coats, soft colors like tan, light blue, white, gray and browns. he tends to wear smart shoes or boots, usually jeans to soften his look so that it isn’t quite so serious like he thinks slacks would seem. he might seem like the type of person who would wear lots of black but when it comes to his airport fashion he is rarely seen in any colors that dip high in saturation or low when it comes to shades. lots of scarfs, long or boxy silhouettes, super duper soft and mature. he doesn’t really dress like a maknae. sometimes after concerts on the way back especially if it’s early he might get spotted in some of his more sporty or casual clothes like jeans and a baggy, adidas/puma/supreme shirt or something, a baseball cap and his usual boots so he looks a little bit mix and match. kangjin is very sporty so his wardrobe definitely is more filled with sporty clothes than anything else but he doesn’t usually wear it out unless he’s very tired.

kangjin’s head voice for me, i was excited to answer this. ok so starting with vocals. kangjin’s vocals for me are very close to his positions references, specifically an almost exact halfway mixture of hyuk and leedo? something very emotional, of a mid tone, to the lower end, and really well suited for ballads or slow songs, emotional tracks since he’s very good at projecting emotion into his voice. i think when it comes to rapping, which is what he’s best known for, he’s a little bit stronger and with more impact. his vocals are very soft, soothing and especially if he’s singing slow and soft, he can really give a gentle performance. but when it comes to rap, he’s just got the vocal training by now and the endurance and rhythm to maintain it with a lot of punch. also his voice is quite deep and when he speaks it’s very monotone with a soft lisp, but while rapping it’s even lower, kind of how leedo had a deeper voice while rapping and shows more range while singing. but comfortable in the lowest voice while rapping, since it kind of closest matches his speaking voice while is also very low and deep and a little slow, he’s comfortable there. it’s what he trained for the most, too. kangjin has more passion for his vocals and he enjoys pushing his voice to the range of high to low, but definitely is most often stuck by dimensions in tracks at his lowest tone.

☎ for a bad fan experience headcanon  ↴  〔 214w 〕

probably some of his least favorite fan experiences are to do with fans asking him if something is wrong with him meeting him in person or in signings. since kangjin can sometimes come across very differently in person he’s always asked if he’s ok, if something is wrong/not feeling well, and he really hates seeing fans perceptions of him up close and personally like that. the way he doesn’t stand up to his own image created of himself, the persona of perfect golden boy he created, it haunts him honestly not to make him sound dramatic but it’s horrible lol. he’s always shaken by the amount of fans who seem to think his muted personality on off days or when he’s just carefully talking to fans to manage their expectations means that something is wrong. since he doesn’t seem to be as over the top and cheerful as he can sometimes be during games or interviews. since long schedules meeting fans sometimes he loses the endurance to put up a whole show and falls somewhere in between? where he’ll smile and make nice but nothing loud, nothing theatrical or big. fans taking note and reminding him always hurts, it’s like a reminder that he lives with a mask he’s supposed to be keeping up.

kangjin prefers to stay very far away from social media if he can help it, because really it’s just not good for his mental health. he wants everyone’s attention and love but not at the cost of his sanity, and every negative comment about him just strips that away from him. though he does have an account he doesn’t use it, it’s managed by his favorite manager, he usually just sends images or sometimes other information, or just asks his manager to post for him. kangjin’s stans are kind of left thirsty for his content unless his manager is posting frequently. sometimes his manager takes things into his own hands and posts for kangjin with his permission, so some weeks, like concert weeks or anniversary weeks, his social media manager takes care of it more closely so that kangjin looks accessible. he doesn’t read forums for himself and doesn’t check his twitter unless he’s feeling brave. the times he checks it most is during his birthday tweets after posting selfies he occasionally scrolls, when he makes a quick “stay well and safe” post, or after concerts when he wants to make his own post about the state of his mood. usually he feels sentimental and brave after concerts so that’s when his stans are most fed.

i don’t think kangjin has any particular fan moments or one fan who stands out tbh but ig he finds it enjoyable when fans match his speed? some fans are loud, some are disappointed, but the shy ones, quiet and just happy to see him without being over the top about it he loves those ones. the ones in signings who get his autograph and give him gifts and quietly talk about how he’s someone they love and look up to. i think those fans make the whole thing a lot more bearable for him. also the fans who see him looking a little bit more casual or muted than usual and just seem content or happy with it? he loves those fans they’re the ones he connects with the most. for the record he also really loves male fans, he’s really strong with ‘boy’ fan service, male presenting fans usually get warm and kind smiles from him and plenty of physical hand touch fan service too. he finds them very brave. there’s a few he remembers, and a few who’ve given him gifts that he still can put their exact faces to the gifts, some of his gifts he donates tbh lol but he doesn’t with the fans who specifically touch his soul or the gifts he finds personal, hand made.

Zevran:

He eventually returns to Antiva, but it feels hollow after the loss of Taliesen and Rinna. If romanced and the Warden survives, he confesses this fact eventually to the Warden and they accompany him to Antiva City and he’s able to fall in love with the place again through the Warden’s eyes.

He is exceedingly particular about jewelry and has developed a taste for the finer things, even if he can’t always afford them.

Dorian

He keeps a regular correspondence with many of his friends in the South. In Tevinter Nights, it’s mentioned that Josie sends him wine, but I imagine he also writes to Varric, Leliana, Cassandra, and even Vivienne. He’s tried to write to Sera, but typically she just sends him jars of insects with lewd sketches attached, if anything at all.

After becoming a Magister, he finds a reason to return to Nevarra City and finally explore the Necropolis there.

And of course, I love the idea of these two getting together! Dorian could use an ex-Crow watching his back and I love Zevran being in a loving relationship with someone with the resources to care for him and keep him safe!

i was talking to shi earlier about being mar.tial ar.cs trash and basically being really happy about ? my portrayal of ren in general ? i’ve written more headcanons for ren than i can count tbh ( i lost count, somewhere in the two hundreds ? ) so i can’t keep all of them in my mind at one time. but the headcanon i wrote was that ren will not be able to look his crush in the eye for longer than a few seconds, because his eyes are really expressive and he’s afraid he’s going to give himself away ( here’s the post, i’d view with discretion, it’s part of a sin hc dump ). what really made my day was that during this thread there were multiple instances of ren’s eyes flickering away from jaune’s, when he was in an obvious state of denial or hadn’t yet realised his feelings, and it just amazed me that i’d written that not having this particular headcanon in mind? i had a similar revelation concerning my ship with middy that the reason ren is somewhat okay with being a homewrecker in one of our verses is because of disregard for the idealisation of marriage, but that hadn’t clicked until very recently. a long time ago, the headcanon that ren has terrible sleeping patterns was not only chalked up to traumatic nightmares ( this was written prior to volume three and four ), and thus insomnia developed from avoiding sleep for so long, but instinctual guarded personality traits which made it hard for him to close his eyes around other people. over time, these seemingly random headcanons based off a sliver of canon content developed complex reasons for existing.

that became way longer than intended, but i mean my point was that i’ve been writing him for a while? so when i write these headcanons ( and most of them are based off what i’ve seen from the show, theorised from the show, heard of what rt is saying, what i’ve taken from the game, what i’ve taken from mulan - both the movie, the live action movie, and the original ballad, built of fandom assumptions, theories, and finally, built of his interactions with other muses ) they start subtly linking together until my characterisation starts becoming somewhat more cohesive. all of these headcanons were written at different times, but the realisation that they were LINKED far later on amazed me. that a headcanon i forgot about showed up in my writing without me even thinking about it,, just made me really happy and i wanted to blurt about it for a bit. i’m often scared that my portrayal isn’t that good because i worked on so much of it prior to receiving a lot of canonical knowledge but,, in all honesty this one seemingly insignificant thing made me more happy than i could possibly comprehend. i think i’m writing him okay.

I know quite a few people HC Dorian as a bottom, but I like to think he’s probably vers, though in Tevinter he’s probably had minimal experiences with partners who are really interested in figuring out what he enjoys the most.

He loves being able to linger over an LI because more often than not, his trysts have been rather hurried affairs.

He smells freaking delightful (I HC cardamom, anise, oakmoss, and sandalwood) except when he’s been trekking with the inquisitor through a bog.

Josephine

She seems so prim and proper, but she really likes bad boys/girls. She’d love to experiment with power dynamics and would be an exceedingly delightful dom.

She’s attracted to everyone in the Inner Circle, but she’s got too much work to be distracted! Unless…

She adores pampering and being pampered and lazy bath sex is one of her favorite things.

She will adore anyone who plays with her hair (especially if they know how to braid it properly).

Zevran:

He’s a remarkably caring and considerate lover, but similar to Dorian he melts a little when his LI takes the time to try to please him as well.

He loves leather, both being dressed in it, and seeing his LI dressed in it.

It does hurt every time he kills a lover, even if he pretends he’s not affected.

He won’t admit it for a very long time, but sex is always second in his heart to being cuddled and held afterwards.

These are super fun, because I would LOVE to see Zevran with both Dorian and Josie and I think he’d be a great match for either of them. ❤️

Ahhhhhhh thank you so much for asking about Karl! I’ve been thinking (and writing) about him a lot lately! I’ll give you a couple:

Karl is as much a dog person as Anders is a cat person and he’s helped raise mabari for the Circle.

Karl is an exceptionally powerful force mage, but he doesn’t like the idea of fighting and instead uses his talents in the Circle library, shelving books and moving them about.

Karl is philosophical and gentle and often is a balm to Anders’ fire and frustration.

Ooh yes, thanks for asking about my fave! Here are a couple!

Dorian has a mild cat allergy, which has interesting results when his LI loves cats.

He complains about Cassandra’s taste in literature, but it doesn’t stop him from reading every romance novel she loans him in one sitting.

He is very lonely during Inquisition (and grieving, for various reasons) and tries to use humor and sarcasm to hide that fact.
