The Middle East: A Gateway to New Career Opportunities
The Middle East is known for its vast oil reserves, but this region offers much more than just oil-related jobs. In recent years, Middle Eastern countries have experienced significant economic growth and have become increasingly diversified in terms of industries and job opportunities. There are many job opportunities in the area for local and international professionals, including technology, finance, healthcare, and construction. Understanding the factors behind the high job opportunities in the Middle East can help professionals identify and capitalize on the many career opportunities available in the region.
There are several factors that contribute to the high job opportunities in the Middle East countries:
Natural resources: Middle Eastern countries are known for their vast reserves of oil, natural gas, and other natural resources. This has led to the development of many industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and mining, which provide numerous job opportunities.
Infrastructure development: Many Middle Eastern countries are investing heavily in infrastructure development, including transportation, housing, and energy. This has created a demand for skilled workers in construction, engineering, and other related industries.
Economic growth: Middle Eastern countries are experiencing rapid economic growth, which has led to the creation of many new businesses and job opportunities. Many of these businesses are in the technology, finance, and healthcare sectors, which require skilled professionals.
Government initiatives: Many Middle Eastern governments have launched initiatives to diversify their economies and reduce their reliance on oil exports. This has led to the creation of new industries and job opportunities in areas such as tourism, education, and renewable energy.
Growing population: The population of Middle Eastern countries is growing rapidly, which has created a need for more jobs to support the growing workforce. This has led to an increase in demand for workers in a variety of industries.
Middle Eastern countries have high job opportunities due to a combination of factors. The abundance of natural resources such as oil and natural gas has led to the development of many industries and created job opportunities in sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and petrochemicals. Construction, engineering, and other related industries are in great demand in the region due to the region's emphasis on infrastructure development. Economic growth, government initiatives, and a growing population have also contributed to the creation of new businesses and job opportunities in areas such as technology, finance, healthcare, tourism, and education. With so many opportunities available, the Middle East has become a popular destination for professionals looking to advance their careers and gain new experiences. By understanding the reasons behind the high job opportunities in the Middle East, professionals can make informed decisions about their career paths and take advantage of the many opportunities available in this dynamic region.

I am returned! Crazy things happened on hiatus, and here is a play-by-play:
Spent the bulk of September with our dogs at my great-aunt's lake cottage (which is a 15-hr drive from here), due to the abundance of birthdays this month.
Shortly after arriving, I got a cold from my sister, which as per usual, turned into bronchitis, which lasted the entirety of the vacation (I still have the cough).
Around midnight on the eve of our departure, I had a gallbladder attack (first one since early spring).
Except it was way worse. Like, I couldn't breathe, couldn't speak, couldn't even cry.
Called 911, got in the ambulance, and the pain suddenly vanished in the space of a minute.
The wee mountain hospital didn't have imaging equipment beyond a CT scan and the Dr. was like "If the pain is gone, you shouldn't expose yourself to that much radiation" (which I appreciated)
My labs were normal, so we conclude this must've been the passing of the gallstone. Big, if true.
I take hydrocodone and we all go to sleep.
In the morning, my mom and sister pack my stuff for me and my parents and I drive the 15 hours back home so that dad can make it to a job interview the next day.
During the last 45 minutes of the journey, my mom's very very old & frail chihuahua experiences a sharp decline in his already poor constitution.
I'm knocked out on hydrocodone, but my dad is up all night with the dog, and in the morning, he takes him to the vet to be put down.
My mom is devastated, this dog was adopted to be her bedside companion during chemo twelve years ago.
My dad's interview goes well.
I still have bronchitis.
Two days later, my sister (who stayed longer at the lake house to clean up) drives back to her home in Southern GA, but for hurricane Helene reasons, the highway is closed and she gets lost.
She finally makes it home to find her power is out, for hurricane Helene reasons (it's still out)
Three days later (last night), I have another brutally painful attack (clearly I'd NOT passed the stone), so my parents drive me to the ER.
Am able to get an ultrasound there, which confirms I still have either many gallstones or one huge one, but my labs are still normal.
Unfortunately, this makes sense because I underwent some rapid drastic weight loss after my attack in the spring.
ER Dr. thinks my pain is instead being caused by gastritis for genetic reasons (which reminded my mom that as a teenager she passed out at work from gastritis).
He prescribes me a trio of gastritis drugs.
I'll be going to a trusted functional medicine doctor next month because my dad got the job (an amazingly good job, praise God) and we can afford it at last. My hope is that this Dr. can point to causes beyond genetics for the gastritis and also get rid of the stones once and for all, even if that means going on Ursodiol.
My dad's new job requires him to move to the Middle East in three weeks.
Oh, and my personal Instagram account (which was about to become the cornerstone of my small business) was inexplicably terminated during my hiatus and I have no means of getting it back besides writing to the state Attorney General.
#I'm treating the gastritis diagnosis as a second opinion#half of it checks out and the other half of it feels sus#I'm really banking on the outstanding reviews of this functional doctor that our church friend gave us#she said he listened to her for 2 hours which sounds fake but ok#tl;dr my vacation was not really a vacation and my whole torso feels like a bus ran over it#but I'm so happy for my dad. this is a job that appreciates him for his military experience rather than treating it as a defect#he loves the Middle East and the company will pay for him to visit us whenever and we can go stay with him for 3 months at a time#(I likely will not until these health issues are sorted but even so. it's so much better than a deployment)#(and the pay is vastly improved lol--so thank y'all for your prayers on the job front)#x

the mfers too stupid to use their goddamn brains and are instead blaming third party voters when Harris would NOT have won even if every single third party voter in the swing states went to her just shows how stupid you bitches be and refuse to ACKNOWLEDGE THAT A PARTY DELIBERATELY ALLOWING A FOREIGN COUNTRY TO CONTROL THEM IS THE FUCKING ISSUE THAT LEAD TO THIS LOSS
do some goddamn math with the data IN FRONT OF YOU TO SEE ITS NOT THE THIRD PARTY VOTERS BUT THE LIBS AND DEMS ALIENATION OF PPL CARING FOR HUMAN RIGHTS THAT LEAD TO THIS LOSS
#I’m on mobile and work a full time job with two kids to take care of but would give you fucking tables of this data if that will help your#empty heads process it but if you look at ANY ELECTORAL MAP OF THE FUCKING VOTES YOU WOULD RECOGNIZE ITS HARRIS AND THE DEMS AT FAULT IF YOU#if you understand or hold any sort of basic empathy and instead of wishing death or poor health on the people who voted (or not at all) for#conscious given how you mfers are currently run by a DEM majority who allowed the leveling off of Gaza AND NOW THE GREATER MIDDLE EAST that#maybe you’d understand that YOU and your loser ass party is the reason for this loss#the fact that this loser ass party never stops the gerrymandering that occurs nationwide; the fact that this loser ass party refused to#codify roe v wade; the fact that this loser ass party half assed barely attempted to eliminate the student debt and even then not at all#really; it’s the fact that Dems pitch themselves as the moral one then laugh when someone asks why the WH refuses to stop the fucking CRATER#SIZED HOLES ISNOTREAL HAS CREATED IN GAZA that lost the Dems not the abstainers not the third parties but the lack of empathy and humility#in the party’s leadership that they couldn’t even LIE in the days leading up to the election to try and sway the vote#you fucking bitching cunts BETTER be protesting otherwise you have done nothing but LIED abt what u lib ass losers stand for#I’m abt to start looking into what pro RCV orgs I’ve got near me to put that shit on a ticket as many times as possible until it’s approved#so third parties slowly get a fucking chance u lil whining punching down racist cunts

my absolutely biggest online pet peeve is US centric people projecting their rich sorority girl bully stereotype of nurses onto everyone else, as if nurses aren't working class and mostly immigrants of colour everywhere else. and when did it become cool to hate on underpaid and exploited workers anyway
#*when i say ''everywhere else'' i mean sweden specifically. idk what it's like in other countries#anyway it bothers me to no end#most of my coworkers are 1. very nice and 2. quite poor and part of many oppressed classes and groups#a vast majority of them are either single mothers who have immigrated from the middle east or africa#or young afghan men who came here in 2015-2021 during the refugee wave#on many shifts ive been 1. the only nurse born in sweden and 2. the only female nurse#your experiences are not universal#the way the internet talks about nurses bothers me to no end! not every nurse makes insane dollars a year and is blonde and married to a cop#i googled this once and american nurses on average make 2x or even nearly 4x of what i made at my previous job. depending on state#enough ppl in the ward i worked at were muslim that we celebrated ramadan all of us basically. not exactly but it did affect the schedule#many of my coworkers could barely afford clothes for all their kids and we all worked crazy hours and kept getting overworked and burnt out#i hate the american stereotype!!!!!#''nurses are mostly high school bullies who like being in control of and hurting vulnerable people'' no! that isn’t true! it just isn’t!#lots of bad healthcare isnt bc the workers are sadists.its bc the resources from the government are lacking and the workers are understaffed#like#we know when the care isn’t good. and it feels Bad actually to not be able to do it better#lots ppl change professions bc of the ethical stress. it's not fun. and sometimes it's obvious a patient feels like theyre not getting heard#but you don't have the time to sit down and listen or whatever else. there isn't time or resources for it#and a lot of crucial vital conditions/symptoms sometimes get missed bc of lack of resources and competence quitting#it's not bc nurses are evil and want ppl to die and suffer. i feel like this has got to be some kind of propaganda circulating#it's such a bizarre stereotype when you think about it. and it's just not true to reality. idk#anyway what do i know. maybe they are actually evil in america. it's possible. a lot of bizarre things are true in america#i just hate the narrative online#pickapost

brittany broski comparing ppl wanting her to address palestine in her podcast because she has been weirdly quiet about it with it 'being like a black mirror episode' as if she doesnt address every other issue that happens in the world ever and she has said that famous ppl should use their platforms to talk abt stuff like this like. really shows that half of these white influencers really dont actually give a fuck at all

What are some weird things you do
Personally I can name every single Arabic country and roughly draw there areas and find them on a map
I'm gonna name them cause I genuinely am super proud of myself
Africa
Comoros
Somalia
Djibouti
Egypt
Sudan
South Sudan
Libya
Tunisia
Algeria
Morroco
Mauritania
Asia
Yemen
Oman
UAE
Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Bahrain
Kuwait
Iraq
Syria
Lebanon
Jordan
Palestine
Boom the 23 Arabic countries this was all done without opening a map once and the order is actually the order that I usually go by to not forget them cause if I say it any other way I will most likely forget Comoros or Bahrain or Qatar (did that before)

Also like. Even if she WERE allosexual.
It is totally normal to find someone attractive, and you're gonna find people attractive (if you're allo) regardless of if they're wearing lingerie or flour sacks. The Taliban tried mandating burqas because of that line of thinking, and guess what? It doesn't do shit-all anyway.
If you are attracted to someone, that is a YOU problem. Now mind you, going up to them and politely offering flirtation\a drink later? Have at it--but 'no' is an answer, and if you get it, you get to shut the fuck up and walk away.
But if you don't want that? If you just want to complain that the lady is TEMPTING YOU INTO SIN and REVEALING HER SINFUL FLESH and whatever the fuck else?
Piss off. Your boner isn't special, you're not special, and no one cares if you're horny. Unless there's a safety issue, she can wear what she wants, and I don't see any food production equipment her hair can get into in this pic.
Women do not have to cover up to keep you from sinning. No one is responsible for your feelings but you. Stop harassing women for wearing clothes you don't like, and take responsibility for yourself for a change.
i had to
#reblog#asexuality#slut-shaming#let's be honest: it's not the ace part they're complaining about#it's that a woman DARED to SHOW SKIN#and apparently the fact that the TALIBAN who are FUCKING NUTJOBS agree on this point#is not a clue that it's fucking stupid#like I don't care what you think of the Middle East politically#these are the guys famous for bright ideas like 'fire all the ladies from work and give the jobs to their totally unqualified husbands#because Girls Icky'#maybe at this point you might just be a dumbfuck

the reason I will tell people why I saved up enough money to get one of those ancestry dna kits when it was reduced in price is that I'm interested in where my family has been genetically because doing research through marriage and birth certificates (while very interesting in itself and goes into great detail) can only get you as far as legitimacy goes. family tree's probably diverge so much throughout history and every single one of us can't all come from 100% legitimate marriages. aside from the dark turn you could take with that there's also adoption! how many of my ancestors were adopted and didn't know it? how many of those records just up and went missing?
the personal reason that pushed me to get it is that I have been misidentified as mixed race at least 4 separate times and by the last one I wasn't even surprised. I want to know if we have any scandals
#once was in new zealand by a stranger thinking one of my parents were maori when i was 17#twice at the same job by different people that didn't know each other also thought i was maori#then AGAIN at a different store by an actual white passing maori thought i was also a white passing maori#and some random person a couple years ago assumed one of my parents was from the middle east???#anyway i just look fucked up apparently#mags speaks

I'm going to be honest, as a Brit the term "midwestern" in relation to the geography of America feels a bit…arbitrary (we have a weird north-south divide, so you're not alone)
only 7 of these states are what I would consider in the middle of the continent and they aren't even in the geographic west.
I propose that we redefine them as the middle-eastern united states, because it would really piss off conservatives to no end, and I think most people here enjoy pissing off conservatives if they have the chance
also I have freinds from Wisconsin and it would be funny to see them tell people from Illinois they live in the Middle East, Wisconsin also being redefined as part of the US Middle Aast is a tragic but nessesery sacrefice for the sake of the bit to reenforce interstate bullying, which is vital for the American ecosystem. the Wisconsinites can handle it because it gives them a reason to dunk on Illinois, everybody wins.
#this is a joke#I know it'll never happen it's just funny to imagine americans calling a region of the US “the middle east”#“the middle east is a war zone!” “Sir. We are in Waupaca...”#these are the sort of unhinged ramblings I make when I'm sleep deprived. treat me like you would a pathetic jester who's bad at their job
