Today marks the 97th birthday of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit with his first short that was released being "trolly troubles" releasing on today all the way back during 1927. Now although fictional (sadly) and just a mere character, Oswald The Lucky Rabbit has grown a large following for a variety of different reasons with several different types of Oswald fans popping up over the years. There's the fans of Ozzie who love his modern counterpart in Epic Mickey who is a genuine character with complexities, there's the history/animation nerds like I who love his short cartoons produced by Disney and later made Walter Lantz. There's even people who love Ozzie and were introduced to him from that one webcomic made by an awful individual (I can't think for the life of me what the comic is called RN, you know what I'm talking about right? The one where they drew him as a skinny twink and absolutely butchered Osix as a crackship). Whoever or whatever version they like at the end of the day it still boils down to the love of one little rabbit who started it all and was the catalyst for the mouse coming into existence and that giant domino effect of events leading after. I think it's sweet an entire community has been built up over the years with tons of talented people creating art, games, stories, and whatever else utilizing Ozzie solely because they love him. Oswald as character has even had a profound impact on me with my fanfiction hobby all stemming from one day me going "hmmm... I wish to write story about funy buny", and because of that it's lead to me writing more which in turned earned me a good few mutuals who like my "talent" (I would not call what I do talent lmao). But the second he stepped foot into the Nerds United store and laid eyes on you it was all over for him. You answered all the questions that she had with ease and a beaming smile on your face. He had hoped that you would be done with the girl quickly so that you could help him find a new game he was wanting to buy. He had been to at least 5 different shops before coming to yours as his last hope. But instead a lanky looking fellow came out between the shelves and had assisted him instead. 

After he left the store he was determined to see you more. So that’s how he found himself not even 2 days later walking back into the store laptop in hand. The perk of your store was that it was an all nerds kind of thing. There were dice, trading cards, video games, consoles, funko pops, movies, dvd’s, merch from different fandoms and also repairs available for laptops and other gaming devices. 

He hadn’t used the laptop in a long while but figured getting it repaired was the perfect excuse to see you. 

But much to his disappointment you were nowhere to be found. The hope of seeing you slowly died out. The same lanky fellow came to the counter to help him again, this time he learned his name was Jeremy and that while you were co owners of the store, he was actually the computer expert so it was a good thing he was there as you would’ve been clueless. 

He hadn’t found another reason to go to the store while his laptop was being fixed so he had just the first time he saw you to help get him through. He thought back to the ripped jeans, supernatural shirt and vans you had been wearing, a red and black flannel wrapped around your waist. He thought about the way your eyes crinkled at the sides when you smiled at the girl you were helping. The way you became so animated as you showed the girl a specific onyx set you had claimed to be your favorite. 

A week later he got a notification that his laptop was ready. He was all but rushing out of the base to get to the shop. He had knocked into Phoenix in his haste to get out which earned him a questioning look from the brunette. He was desperate to get another glimpse of you. With his luck the last time he came in he wasn’t expecting to see you this time. But as he walked in he could see you and Jeremy arguing about something. As he got closer to the counter he heard what the argument was about. Why Captain America is a complete asshole and how Iron Man deserved so much better. You being on Iron Man's defense and Jeremy on Captain Americas. 

He idly stood by as he listened to the two of you beef it out. His eyes scanned through the case of trading cards looking to see if there were any that caught his eye when the arguing suddenly stopped and Jeremy was making his way over to him. Mickey hadn’t noticed you slip out until you were walking back up to the counter with his laptop in your hand. He noticed the name tag hanging from a punisher lanyard wrapped around your neck ‘Reaper11’ was scrawled across it in black sharpie. That must’ve been your gamer tag. 

You didn’t say a word as you slid the laptop to him and turned to help a customer that had just entered. So Jeremy rang him up and he was leaving again. As he exited he thought of any excuse he could to come back to the shop. He thought about it on the drive home, when he ate dinner, as he jogged before work the next morning, he thought about it while he was up in the sky with Rueben for an exercise Maverick had them doing. It wasn’t until he was sitting at the Hard Deck sipping on a beer that he finally got the idea of going to just browse the store, maybe see if there was a funko pop or a t-shirt of some sort that he might want. Three days after getting his laptop he was back in the store. 

He spotted you right away talking to an older couple that sounded as if they were looking for a gift for their grandson but wasn’t sure what to get for him. You helped them pick out a game and a pack of cards based on what they told you about him. You rang them up and sent them on their way with that same bright smile on your face as the first time he saw you. He glanced back to the shelf he had been standing in front of full of Marvel funko pops. He was about to move farther down the shelf until a voice popped up next to him causing him to jump a little. 

“Who’s your favorite Marvel character?” You asked him, a playful glint in your eyes. He stood still for a moment staring at you. He hadn’t been this close to you before so he was trying to take you in. You had on similar attire to the first time he had seen you. A scarlet witch shirt, ripped jeans and a pair of vans, this time however a beanie was placed atop your head. He noticed the few freckles and moles that were scattered across your face. The way your eyebrows arched and then the shape of your lips, which were moving. He blinked a couple times before his brain started working again. 

“Shit sorry, what did you say?” he asked you with a blush rising to his cheeks at the realization he had been caught staring at you. Your eyes slightly squinted as you let out a laugh. Head slightly thrown back. He decided that he wanted to do anything possible to listen to that laugh over and over again. 

“I asked who your favorite marvel character is.” You told him as you finished laughing, gesturing to the shelf in front of you. He blinked again before answering you. 

“Oh my favorite Marvel character would definitely have to be Hawkeye. I love his sarcasm and wit. He is also super underrated and I wish he had more screen time in the movies. I totally love his show though. Especially the fact they finally tied in him having a hearing problem. Though I think they should’ve had that as a part of his character from the beginning to be more true to the comics.” He took in a deep breath realizing he had been ranting to you. His left hand had come up to run across his face in embarrassment. He hadn't expected you to be standing there so intently listening to his tiny speech. Most people would’ve told him to shut up when he rambled on that way. You however looked invested in what he was saying. 

“I completely agree with the hearing problems thing, it would've been more authentic for them to have done it from the beginning instead of just now after all the phases we’ve gone through without him needing a hearing aid. He is definitely underrated and I was so excited when they announced they’d be doing a show about him. It totally sucks what happened to Jeremy though with that accident he was in. I hope he makes a smooth recovery.” You replied to him with that same smile you had on your face while talking to the teenage girl and the older couple adorning your face. He wasn’t sure what to say to you. Stunned that he found someone that so easily conversed with him on topics he was interested in. 

Then it was you that was caught staring at him. Your eyes moved up his face from his lips to his nose to eyes. As your eyes caught each other a blush rose to your cheeks this time.

“Has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like Joaquin Torres from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier?” You asked him, your head tipping slightly to the right as you took him in again.

“I have been told that a few times but I don’t see it.” He replied with a tiny shrug and a small smile. You simply hummed at the answer. 

“Do you need help finding anything?” You asked him after a moment, staring at each other. 

“I’m just browsing.” He said as he shook his head. 

“Well if you need help finding anything just let me know alright. I’ll be up at the front so you can just yell for me.” You said as you rocked back on the balls of your feet. Pointing towards the name tag you were once again wearing. Then you were spinning around hands clasped behind your back as you made your way to the front of the store. He was kicking himself as you walked away for not finding something else to talk to you about.  

He looked for a couple more minutes and decided on getting a vision funko pop and a BB-8 funko pop that he had been thinking about getting for a while. As he made his way back up to the front of the store he saw you going through a box of comics. He really didn’t want his time with you cut so short but he didn’t want to linger around your store too long and seem like a creep. 

You smiled upon seeing him and pushed the box over slightly so he could set his stuff down. Neither of you knew what else to say so you went through the transaction in a comfortable silence. He noticed a reaper tattoo on your forearm as you handed him his compostable biodegradable bag. It was a reaper pepper dressed as a grim reaper. He would have to ask you why the fascination with a reaper but figured he would save that for another day. 

As he was turning to leave you shouted out to him “Don’t be a stranger, okay?” he turned as he opened the door, a smile as wide as yours working its way across his lips.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.” he replied before slipping out the door. He would definitely be back soon the both of you knew that.

A Genuine Question for my Fellow Kingdom Hearts Nerds: are there ANY in-game examples of Riku and Kairi "being friends" outside their shared context of "this is Sora's [Other] Best Friend" or, in the case of Riku, "it's my fault you're in danger so I have to take responsibility and protect you"?

I'm talking actual, genuine moments of Spending Time Together, independently from Sora's presence and outside of Preventing Tragedies.

explanatory elaboration below cut + bonus "did Yen Sid actually do anything Wrong or is the Hate a projection of Sora's Masculine Insecurity in KH3?"

From what I can recall, Riku and Kairi have been Sora's Two Best Friends but THEY each share One Best Friend (Sora).

A LOT of the assumptions made about Kairi & her relationships with others seem to be Assumptions based in Kairi's Being Female: Kairi became the franchise's "Female Lead" by default of being the Only Plot-Adjacent Female in KH1, in addition to the assumption that "Kairi must be the Female Lead because Sora&Riku are Rivals & thus their rivalry must be over Her".

If we change the genders of Kairi or Riku, many Fan Assumptions on their relationship cease to be "logical": if Riku is Female, Kairi's closest female friend is still Selphie & Riku's closest female friend is NAMINÉ (Kairi only held that role in KH1 because, again, they share a best friend in Sora & thus share more onscreen Proximity); if Kairi is Male OR Riku is Female, Sora is both Best Friend and "closest male friend". Changing Kairi or Riku's assumed gender makes a resultant rivalry between the two for Sora's attention More Obvious, whereas Kairi existing as the "Token Female" creates Assumptions of Romantic Tension.

I have been struggling to draft a Theory/Analysis post on Kairi due to my feeling a need to replay every single KH game to REALLY look at the textual Kairi with those CompHet Shipping Goggles we get, as Members Of [This] Society, pointedly set aside.

(I also want to do a replay to just... actually note what Yen Sid CANONICALLY says and does? to figure out why the International Audience seems to hate him so much. he's a very reasonable authority figure, to me? i played BBS back on PSP & thus knew him prior to the "Story So Far" compilation & KH3. and, as far as "mentors in fantasy settings made in East Asia" go, Yen Sid is... pretty reasonable? especially since BBS puts him in "Competition" with Masters Eraqus of "murder for the greater good is fine, apparently" and Xehanort. Yen Sid making Mickey do Chores and Not Passing Sora for an Exam he couldn't actually take is... standard mentor stuff? Sora almost DIED in DDD: of course Yen Sid was strict about his involvement in an upcoming war. The title & subsequent responsibilities of being named a "Master" remains Unclear and Riku's receiving the Title was due to his Extraordinary Success with the Power of Waking. Yen Sid states both Sora & Riku have accomplished great things already, without being Masters & without formal instruction in the Ways of the Keyblade. There is also the Doylist explanation for Sora's Failure: Nomura never intended for Sora to pass the exam at all because Sora is supposed to be an [Unchosen One], someone ordinary who accomplishes extraordinary things BECAUSE he is "ordinary".)

🧡 - Favorite non-Shepard pairings? Why do you love this/those pairing(s)?

🎗️- Something you would have liked to see more of in the games?

Fave pairings> Kolfer and Kriortez, aka Kolyat x Feron, and Thane Krios x Steve Cortez. (Also Pavan and Mickey, which are two total OC's, Blaise Shepard's dads.) They are all heavy headcanoning, I think that's what appeals to me about rarepairs so much though. You've got some bare bones to work with and then can adapt the stories and flesh out the characters to fit your own tastes. I'll try to give a brief overview. kolFer is: tall pouty prickly lad who is an introverted nerd annoyed to find he's fallen for the charms of short muscly extroverted flirty king, even more shocked to discover Feron isn't just a big old flirt but genuinely adores the ever loving shit out of him and they fall wildly in love. The more Kol pouts, the more Fer loves him. They work together as agents of the shadowbroker Liara. Kriortez: No one will ever sum it up better than @zet-sway did: "I'm just imagining their relationship. Both of them, professional as fuck. House is impeccably clean. They're well spoken and dependable. And the moment their spark is lit they're on each other like white on rice, handprints on the windshield, clothes on the floor, [redacted to keep this SFW lol] Heart eyes for days." I actually spend way more time thinking about non Shepard pairings than I do Shepard pairings. Like don't get me wrong I adore Shepard and my two Keahi and Blaise are my special blorbos, but I think the freedom of having less strict storyline beats with KolFer lets my imagination really go down a rabbithole (which is also probably why my Shepards are both pretty AU compared to the games). Something I'd like to see more of? More interactions that don't involve the main character. Those moments in 3 where you'd find squadmates chatting. The conversations in the rover in andromeda. All the interesting NPC's on the citadel. That stuff sparks the imagination and fleshes out the world so much and I love it, can't get enough, and would love to see more. Especially with the less explored species. Give me that juicy hanar lore, some elcor drama. A world that adapts and changes over time is always incredible too, though I know engine limitations are a thing. Andromeda hinted at that being a thing, but really all you saw was empty planet, then inhabited planet. Would be awesome to see some stages in between, growth and change each time you visit a place, some consequences to your actions.

OKAY SO first off (and a surprise to no one) luke skywalker is my ultimate blorbo. my special guy. and it’s funny cause i grew up knowing of star wars, watching the movies with my older siblings, but i never really cared about it- it wasn’t until years later i even thought about watching the movies again and it was only because my sister pressured me into watching the mandalorian and i fell in love. and then i decided to rewatch the original trilogy and that was it. the movies just found me at such a perfect spot in my life to really dig into my brain and not let go- it was year two of the pandemic, i had no friend whatsoever and a day to day that just left me feeling dull, ya know? and then all of the sudden there were these old movies about hope. about being able to become more than the sum of your parts. there was luke. luke really just embodies that feeling of hope that i was so without. and i think it’s those set of circumstances and then me just being a big science fiction/space nerd in general really made luke my perfect star wars blorbo. and then add dinluke into that!!! i could go on and on about dinluke (and i have) but fundamentally i think it’s the dynamic of these two powerful people who carry these two, seemingly opposing ideals coming together and finding that they have more in common and more to offer each other than either ever thought they’d receive is just *chefs kiss*

MOVING ON TO katniss everdeen! my first and forever blorbo. i know i don’t hunger games post here a lot but thg and katniss were both really big parts of my development. the hunger games introduced me to fandom and fanfic and katniss introduced me to the mindset of never giving up. no matter when you feel like you already have, you never give up. that small acts of bravery are just as important as big ones. she inspired me to stick up for myself and feel courageous, to shoot a bow and wear my hair in a braid far too often. to look out for those i love with all i can give. i love her strength and her wit and how she is smart and so dumb and young all at the same time. and her and peeta as a couple i think just really set the standard of love to me. like after everything, all the fighting and death, they choose to live for each other. they help each other live for themselves. that you don’t have to be someone else when your with the right person. that you can be vulnerable and ask real or not real?

NEXT IN LINE is mickey milkovich from shameless. i am rotating him around in my mind CONSTANTLY. its safe to say that he was my favourite character on the show and his penchant for crime, swearing and anger really struck a chord with me. he’s a character that feels so much but is rarely given the chance to express it. he’s constantly going against the odds and trying to do what’s right. it may not be right, or legal for that matter, but it’s still what he believes. he’s a character that’s gone through so much pain and suffering and is still able to flip off the world. he gives me the confidence to say fuck you to people who are treating me poorly and smile because i know that the parts of me they judge and think are weak are the parts that make me swing back harder. he’s violent, he’s gross, he’s pathetic and he’s one tough motherfucker and shit if getting to see him get a happy ending, get to be out and to get someone who loves him as he is for all those reasons didn’t make me hope id get that one day too. AND LASTLY a newer blorbo entering the ring- jamie tartt from ted lasso! now, i will gleefully admit i hated jamie through season one and much through season two but holy shit did ted lasso pull off a redemption like nothing ive ever seen before. really and truly, i did not expect to connect with jamie as much as i did. the last season but the character growth and storylines they gave him that shed some light onto why he was the way he was and how they connected so many things in with the earlier seasons that just made you see things in an entirely different way??? like he’s still a cocky prick, but he’s a cocky prick you can’t help but love and cheer for. and the scene where he tells roy that he’s just anxious and tired all the time really fucking hit home for me, even when they did end up playing it off as a bit of a joke, i just felt that moment so deep in my bones and funny little manchester-man jamie earned himself a spot in my brain.

- John is not currently, I keep dying by some odd force while trying to help people (a pack of wolves killed me, got mauled by the legendary gator, and random bounty hunters getting me)

- Arthur had 7 horses (rip to 3)

their names were Cocoa the first, second, and third (the first got shot and killed cause I didn’t know how make my horse flee yet😃 the second died from being RAN into a FULL SPEED… by another horse during a mission. still think about it) a white shire named Marshmallow, a red tennessee walker with white spots named Red Velvet with Cream Cheese (Velvet) for short, an appaloosa named Cookies and Cream (Cookie for short, also was my last horse☹️)

- John still has Rachel… which grew on me. I still just don’t understand naming a horse Rachel.

i did one of those “like this and i’ll introduce you” story games and originally she didn’t but then later she went through all the other introductions and i guess decided yeah i can use the attention

and i’m happy to oblige obviously

so this is the template

so i put that shes my friend, we’re not very close, she reminds me of ed from ofmd (total copout, he’s her favorite), the song was femme fatale by the velvet underground (don’t think about that one too hard!!), and then it gets worse. for the memory, i brought up a joke she made once and then TOTALLY FUCKING FABRICATED a story in which mickey was harassing me over the pretty girl on my phone because she saw me going through her stories. yes, mickey does harass me about her, but that’s because i’m being FUCKING INSANE. so yeah. kinda comes off as flattery, but i wanted to call her pretty without having to call her pretty. and i said i liked how creative and interesting she is, and that i like talking to her.

she responds “thank you this made my day!!” and i was a giggly fuckin ehehe nooo really?? mess.

later that day she posts on her note “running away to the ocean” and i was like fuck yeah i love doing that highly recommend. she tells me that she lives by the harbor in toronto and she’s gonna apply to work on the cargo ships. i was like holy shit that’s awesome!! if you end up in orlando you should tell me and we could do something like an ofmd watch party!! which was also a copout. like. massive fuckin copout. just wanted to test the waters a bit, i think we may be both a bit flighty.

and then. she drops the absolute fucking BOMB “that would be awesome, i have a place in florida”

j and mick are the same fucking person. they’re both my adopted kid siblings, just one of them lives out of the country. they’re both little alcoholic guitar freaks with a weird sense of humor that come to me for problems they reallyyy shouldn’t come to me for.

i tell john that mickey asked about him and he loses his shit. posts some bait on his story and they get talking. i’m playing both sides, while j is telling me he’s in love and mick is saying that john is lowkey fine. they’re both wayyy into each other. john has been up my ass about “stevie you better come to the wedding” and i’m happy to give him a win after getting his heart broken like four times recently. like. enough to call me for a drunken cry sesh. i’m worried about him but i don’t see anything too bad coming out of this besides mickey being all “nooo omg i can’ttt i need him to be here if i’m gonna say anything” while j is begging me to report back on if she’s into him.

mickey was asking me about how i met him n stuff and i said i saw him posting kickass guitar stuff and followed him for that and then i posted a megadeth meme while saying “no one else will find this funny” and he says “I DO” and suddenly he’s my brother. and he even looks like me. he convinced our friend we were related when he met her. (said friend and her bf broke up today)

so mickey says him and i are platonic soulmates bound by fate or something with the coincidences that led to him and i being close.

back to j and i’s friend who broke up with her bf. he was a dick to her about the way she looks but he was really sweet when it came to getting her things n stuff. her and i met in a weird flirty way and she said the other day that it wasn’t platonic for her and i was like. me too bestie. and she said something about “if we’re ever both single…” and i was like yeah lmao! because i’d hook up with her. j clocked me on that. dunno how. we were on the phone today and he goes “would you hook up with her be honest” and i had to explain to him that yeah absolutely but i have no romantic intent toward her? she’s my friend and i adore her but she’s also gorgeous and i’d go down on her if she asked. we just wouldn’t make a good stable healthy couple. we’re both fucking HEATHENS.

Any Disney World-philes out there?

I am officially going to Disney World in August (bleh, not excited about that part) with my nephews, 5 and 7.

I'm excited. I really liked theme parks as a kid. I went to Disney World for the first time when I was when I was 7 (in, gasp, 1989 which was Mickey's Birthday-Land time, so I had this song stuck in my head for my entire life). Yes, I saw the cow with Micky spots. My mother was very excited by that because she grew up on a dairy farm.

Anyway, I haven't been in a long time. Since the 90s, I don't think. And I am wondering what rides I should try to hit. (Guardians of the Galaxy? Rise of the Resistance? Remy's Ratatouille whatever?)

I enjoy an immersive experience that makes you feel like you're in the story. Faves growing up were It's a Small World, Pirates, Peter Pan and Mr Toad. I also enjoy thrill rides like Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, all the mountains. Though I am glad the theming of Splash Mountain is being changed. But I don't think they would be appropriate for the children.

I don't know how much time I will have to ditch the little ones, so possibly rides that are good for tiny people (the five year old is small for his age so that might be a problem considering he is the one who is not scared of stuff). The 7yo is "a big scared-y cat" (per his mother) and I am worried about him having a traumatic experience on Haunted Mansion which I did during the aforementioned 1989 trip. (There was also a Captain Hook at my character breakfast and that was HARROWING. He kills children! I don't want to eat pancakes with him! I am seven.)

We're going to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. I might be a day hop pass to go to Hollywood Studios if it seems worth it.

Also are there good places to buy my sister alcohol and ice cream if she becomes overwhelmed by her two weird (but loveable) children and her husband who--gasp--hates theme parks? (He's actually more of a video game nerd and I was wondering if there were any rides with a game component he might like?)

About a week ago bc I was laughing too hard Also techinically this morning. My eyes just started tearing up a bit while I was still in bed & staring against the wall. I guess that white wall was just tugging at my heartstrings

03 - Do you have kids?

The only children I have are my OCs <3 My current beloved OCs are Aym, Marchosias (💖💖💖💖💖), and Baal; all for Obey Me

04 - What sports do you play/have you played?

So as a kid, I took MSE (self-defense) classes, I did ballet for a short while, and I played badminton. But now I'm not really doing much sports anymore. I'm occasionally working out in a sad attempt to stay healthy but that's...not working out all that well because I keep forgetting about it lol. That being said, I walk anywhere as long as it's a walkable distance away (to me, that's around 90min max), idc it's the European mindset. Der Fußbus hält überall :)

06 - What is the first thing you notice about people?

When I pass strangers on the street, I try to look for little moments that bring them joy. That being said, 90% of the time I'm just lost in my own thoughts & have completely tunnel vision, so imagine noticing anything 😭 When I first meet people tho, it's usually the way they look at you, which tbh is a little ironic because I sometimes just cannot look people in the eyes NFDHSKGJHKSDLGS

They used to be blue, but now they're more of a greyish green with a few brown spots in them

08 - Scary movies or happy endings?

Okay endings, actually! Where characters don't get the happy ending they were hoping for, and some things are still a little messy, but all in all things are okay and they finally get to breath again. Though I guess that's kind of a happy ending? lol

09 - Any talents?

My newest talent is being able to imitate the cry of an owl. My sister explained it to me earlier & once I got it to work I've been doing it non-stop until I got lightheaded 😭 Worth it tho Other than that, being able to teach myself the basics of a lot of things within a day (one of the upsides of ADHD), as well as abandoning a lot of my projects after a while because I suddenly decided to start a completely different one (one of the downsides of ADHD) I also have a real talent for writing angst. Ask any of my closer mutuals, I keep terrorizing them with my ideas (love you guys 💖) And finally: telling myself that I'll go to sleep early & then it's 5am

being insane, obviously 💚 some of my mutuals can surely attest to that lol No, but in general I enjoy writing & drawing, as well as, uhm. Randomly deciding to take up multiple really time-consuming projects, such as the OM card rec thing I did that I still need to update ahhhh, my Obey Me OC & MC ask game that originally had 200+ questions before I cut it in half out of fear of it being too long, half of my side blogs, and SOOOO many other things. <- or in short, being insane 💚 I also really love cooking & baking! Side note, if anyone wants an easy chocolate lava cake recipe, you just need to ask... 👀 Also lately it's just been romancing Thanatos in Hades because I randomly remembered that I hadn't done that yet

I used to have clownfish and a starfish, but other than that I've never had any myself. I love the dogs I dogsit with all my heart tho, and there is this cat that I sometimes meet on my way to work. She always runs up to me when she sees me and won't stop meowing until I start petting her, and last time she climbed onto my lap (I sat down in the middle of the sidewalk, I did not care lmao), she's literally the sweetest 😭😭 I also ring the doorbell for her whenever it rains so she doesn't have to stay outside lol

1,68m or 5'6 if I got the conversion correct lol

14 - Favourite subject in school?

Heavily depended on the teacher, but generally art class because we usually got to work on whatever we wanted with and listen to music. Also English in 9th grade, math in 10th and German in 11th because the teachers were great

15 - Dream job?

I've been thinking of translations in general/software localizition for a while now. I just love dissecting all the small differences between languages (D.D.D.s being called 'D3' my beloved), + there are so many invisble choices made when translating. You'll always lose something because every language has its little quirks and a different mindset that can't be translated directly, but you'll also gain something that the original version didn't have. It's an art form in itself, and I really love that <3 The other job that keeps popping into my mind is event mangement. I already get to organize a ton of things for my uni since I'm part of the student council for one of my two majors. It's exhausting, but also really rewarding when you have people come up to you afterwards to tell you how much fun they had!

TMNT (Dirty mind)

Donnie- “April have you seen y/n? I wanna show her these signals for bebop mutation” he says walking out of his lab, seeing April trying to practice her telekinesis but failing 

“No, last time I saw her Leo forced her to go train with him” she says groaning before throwing the object, Donnie nods at her response as he goes to the training room, passing by raph and Mickey as the two play video games

He goes to open the door as he hears you and Leo sparring “perfect! Hey y/n I wanted to show you-”

Donnie stops as he sees you, you looked perfectly fine if it weren’t for your shirt being half way ripped off

“cmon your going easy on me! I’ve seen you kick shredders butt!” Leo yells not paying attention to Donnie as you gasp for air

“y-yeah with donnies help, can we just take a break” you say out of breath before looking to the side, seeing Donnie at the door with his face completely red

“donnie! Hey can you tell Leo to get off my back, I feel like I’m gonna pass out” you yell as Leo looks over to the nerd, seeing Donnie almost studder out a sentence before he quickly looks away from you

“u-um sure, w-whatever you say y/n!”  you raise an eyebrow at his nervousness before you walk over to him “Thanks, I need to go shower”

“Not so fast!” Leo yells before kicking at your back, you yell as Donnie cushions your fall, Leo busting out laughing as Don yells

Donnie looks up to see you sitting on top of him, rubbing your head as you yell at Leo, you don’t even seem faced by the position your in

“Don’t be so uptight! Don looks likes he’s enjoying it!” Leo says before laughing again as the others come in to see the ruckus 

“What’s all the noise for! Has Leo- oh” April says before looking at you and Don, before she cracks a smile

“Hah! Dang I was wondering when you where gonna make your move Donnie!” Raph says in between laughs as the turtle quickly sits up 

“shut up raph!” Don says a blushing mess as you crack a smile, getting off of the turtle as you rub your neck

Everyone starts making jokes to Don as he quickly goes back in his lab, not before making sure you where okay though 

He can’t help but try and calm down as he sits down in his desk, replaying the scene over and over

It’s quiet in the room before Donnie smiles a little as he covers his face, before letting out a small victory yell

“yes!..”

Raphael- it was a normal day at the lair, Leo was training, Donnie was being a nerd with April, and Mikey was playing video games super loud, and of course you where in Ralph’s workout station, scrolling through your phone as the turtle tries out new moves

You’ve been the closest to raph ever since you and April met them, even though your a geek like Donnie you still found raph more relatable then the nerd, and plus you don’t wanna hear him talk about science all day...

“y/n can you pass me another weight” raph asks as you don’t pay attention, something on your phone replaying over and over again, raph getting annoyed as he throws a heavy weight at your direction

You scream before looking at him, raph laughing at your dismay as you get up and grab it, struggling as you give it to him, your phone next to the turtle as he wants to see what your eyeballing

“Yoga poses? What kind of lame stuff is this?” He asks as you shrug sitting next to his bench, stretching your arms and legs

“yeah, I wanted to try out one of them, but she doesn’t seem to explain it well” you say as you try and figure out the pose, raph laughing as he keeps watching the stupid lady talk, some of the poses seeming easy as he wonders what’s so hard

He hears you grunting a little as he doesn’t pay attention, lifting his weights as he just thinks about anything else, your phone still going off with the video as stupid music plays

“Oh I got it! Look!”  Raph groans annoyed before looking at you, his eyes immediately widening as he sees the pose your pooling off, the handstand your doing is impressive really but with your legs wide open with those little shorts.... well he can’t take his eyes off

Not to mention your shirt falling off blocking your vision “hey I can’t see! Am I doing it correctly?! Raph!”

“u-uh yeah, just um, maybe get out of the pose?” He says blushing as he looks to your ass, his eyes not wanting to pull away before he hears the door open, his brothers walking in

Raph quickly pulls himself together as he drops his weights, grabbing at you as you yell, falling to the ground with him as raph knows you don’t wanna be in that position with his brothers watching

“hey raph! It’s training ti- oh my” donnie says eyes widened as Leo’s mouth drops, Mickey doing the same before laughter comes, raph groans as he opens his eyes

“You two enjoying yourselves?! Hah!”  Your eyes wide as your and Ralph’s faces are touching, your legs up on his shoulders as your shirts messed up, Ralph’s arms holding down your arms as his eyes widen too

You both quickly move away from each other, your faces red as tomatoes as his brothers watch in amusement, Leo giving him a smirk as you quickly fix your shirt

“Well well, looks like my little brother made some moves” leo says smirking as Donnie chuckles, raph growling his sentence before Donnie pitches in

“Honestly you could’ve took her out for pizza first”

“Get out! Before I make you!” Raph threatens as the three run out, Donnie and Leo laughing holding eachother as Mickey screams running, you look in with a slight smile as you laugh

Raph noticing as he rubs his neck, holding a hand out for you as you take it, the gentleman helping you up as raph coughs

“um, sorry about that”

“No problem, but we might need to go to training now” you say walking off as raph follows, the turtle getting a smirk on his face as he watches you walk away a little before he slaps your butt

“you know, it was the perfect position y/n, just only do it in front of me okay doll~”

Leonardo-

After a successful mission on defeating some foot clan the team had time on there hands, since it’s more of a awake night for humans the turtles have no choice but to stay indoors, to Leo’s dismay of course, but your slowly trying to calm him from fighting as you try and think of things to do with him

“maybe we can watch a movie instead? Or a new episode of chefs kitchen? Maybe your space show? I don’t really know anything but going out again”

“cmon, there’s a whole load of crime out there! The nights still pretty young, we need to defend humans” Leo says annoyed as he twirls his katanas around, doing moves as you groan 

“yeah but going through the sewers always leads to a bad day, I always end of falling on something and getting all grossed out” you say referring to your wet clothes as Leo looks sympathetic

“Hmm, you do kinda have bad luck coming to puddles” leo says as he sees your drenched shirt and pants, your shoes to the side of you as you ring out your hair in disgust

“Heyy y/n! Why don’t you try out donnies new shower he installed! Where all kinds to chicken to see if he put camera in it” mickey says from his video game, you look at him confused as you see Donnie pause

“New shower?” 

“Yeah kinda, I installed it after a chemical incident, it has hot water your more than welcome to try it out” he says not lookin up from his invention as you shrugg

“As long as I can get this junk off of me, I don’t care if there’s cameras in it” you say walking over to the bathrooms, Leo staring at you leaving as he sighs

“There’s cameras in there isn’t there?” 

“No but since your so worried about it go check” donnie says annoyed as Leo pulls his swords down, running over to get you 

he opened the door to the bathrooms as he sighs “hey y/n, donnies a creep so can I-”

He stops full sentence as his eyes widen, you look up from unhooking your bra, your clothes discarded in a pile next to you as Leo freezes

you both stare at each other for a sec before there’s a voice behind Leo “Leo cmon! Let her shower bro!”

Leo quickly slams the door close as Mickey yells, you cover yourself with the curtain as the turtle covers his eyes

“I didn’t mean to! U-um I just wanted to check for camera!” Leo says looking up to the ceiling as you raise an eyebrow, smirking a little at his reaction

“It’s okay, Leo you did nothing wrong I’m still basically dressed” you say laughing as Leo looks down, gulping down his spit as he rubs his head

“O-oh! Okay.. I just.. wanted to make sure Donnie wasn’t creeping around” he says going to check the shower as he sees it looks pretty normal, you smiles at him before going to his side

“It looks fine to me, after I get done we can stay up and watch your show” you say as Leo’s eyes widen at how close you are now, he can’t he’ll but slowly look down to your chest area 

you don’t notice as you check the water temperature, the turtle flushed at the sight as your strap goes down enough for he can just peak a litt-

“Leo! Where ordering pizza what ki-” 

Mickey doesn’t finish as he sees you two, Leo immediately putting his hands over your chest as he covers you with his body 

“Mickey! Privacy!” He yells as you just look over, seeing Mickey still looking before another turtle joins his side

“What are you idiots doin- oh” raoh says as Leo glares at both of the, Ralph quickly pushing Mickey away as the turtle yells, Ralph closing the door as arguing can be heard outside 

Leo sighs at his brothers idiotic behaviors before he feels you put your hand on his elbow 

“can you?” You ask as Leo realizes, putting his hands in the air as he backs away

“I didn’t mean! I-I mean you look good I just! I’ll wait for you outside the door!” He yells before basically jumping out of the door, you raise an eyebrow as this before you look to your chest

so the obvious one is Nat and lacrosse, right? she's been team captain since sophomore year, she is absolutely ferocious on the field, and each year, she takes the insecure freshman under her wing and makes them a personalized workout plan to make sure they're as strong as they can be. she picks out the uniform designs in colors that flatter everyone on the team, she's coordinating snack schedules with team moms, and on the bus home from away games she's quietly doing her homework in the back row

Bob is a swimmer is this because i'm a swimmer so it's what i pick shhhh no. it's a compete-with-yourself sport, it's one where the goal is to best your own time, not physically restrain someone else. to me, bob is also built like a swimmer, like he's more sleek/lean than bulky, and it's never a worry about his glasses bc it's a no contact sport. he has no idea half the girl's team is in love with him, always deck changing near him, or asking him to be their lap counter during the distance events.

Adjacently, Javy did water polo is this because i also did water polo and was in love with a man who looked like Greg who played on the boys' team shhhh also no, obviously . if you've been around water polo boys, you know--they are pretty, they are built, they are a little messy, they are a little stupid. i say this with love. they're kind guys, they're guys who know how stupidly attractive they are, and have you seen the man's hands?? built for polo, and that is all i will say for staying G-rated.

in the same way Javy has a water polo vibe, Bradley has a volleyball vibe. It's a chill sport, it's also custom made for hot, tall, men, and I think he'd fall into it and be accidentally good at it. I think he'd allso be extra conscious of Carole's fear of contact sports, so he'd stay away from football and soccer and basketball. I can see him always having a volleyball in his backseat, and when he's at the beach, it always comes out to rally back and forth with a couple of guys.

I think Mickey did everything, he genuinely loves being on a team. Football in the fall, wrestling in the spring, lacrosse in the spring, I think he's annoyingly good at anything. he has a good awareness of where everything and everyone is, he has great reactions, but it's his attitude that everyone really appreciates, like he's always positive and encouraging and he's a solid team member. side note, i'm pretty sure mickey was homecoming king, and it absolutely blindsided him because he just thought everyone had as many friends as he did.

Reuben is track and field, all the way. he does basketball when it's in season, because he's tall and the coach literally begged him, but he loves distance running. he loves that it's just you in your head, that it's mental after a point, that it's just your body and a track, and that you're competing with yourself. he could've gone to college for it; got a couple good scholarships, but he wanted to keep it as a hobby on the side, and focused on the academy anyways.

this is a curveball, but i really see Jake as not doing sports? like the man is a perfectionist--he's not about to be the one who fumbles and costs the team a goal (or worse: be benched during the pivotal play??) i see him in middle school trying out for things, realizing he could do any of the things but probably not be The Best, and deciding to focus on school. so he's a nerd, but he studies at home/plays it off like he's not trying, and gets really into working out bc he likes how it makes him look. so he's probably at the gym with the football guys before school, working out with them, but he doesn't play on a team or anything

I keep seeing various pop psychology-esque takes about adults that have stereotypically childish interests like cartoons/anime, toys, video games, etc and whether its framed as a good thing or bad thing it is usually explained as some desire to return to innocence or fill a void left by a deprived or traumatic childhood and I’m sure that’s a factor for some people especially if it’s taken to a more extreme or less socially acceptable extent but does it not occur to anyone that its just that these things don’t necessarily stop being fun once you reach a certain age and they have become a bit more mainstream to be openly into. And I don’t think this is a new phenomenon like my grandparents on both sides of the family had toy/bear collections or cartoon paraphernalia around their house simply because they liked it and it was seen as a little quirky but not profoundly immature. I see women in their 60s with Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh tattoos or dressed head to toe in merch all the time lol. Nevermind that a lot of these things aren’t and never really were exclusively for children in the first place like there’s plenty of adult animation out there and people have played with games and puzzles and read fantasy stories and collected little dolls and curio for centuries bc it is normal to like to have fun and to be charmed by silly or cute things. I know this is a dumb thing to be irked by but whenever I see someone imply that liking legos or reading manga is because you’re working through childhood trauma I’m like dear god it’s not that deep it’s called BEING A NERD!!!
