Michael Miller fabric challenge: This year for Quiltcon, the Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) has organized a fabric challenge sponsored by Michael Miller Fabrics. I received a bundle of fat eighths of “Glitz” fabric back in the summer for the challenge.

Since it’s been hard to find any Michael Miller “Glitz” fabrics (or even solids) in Canada, I’m going to try to use just what was provided by the MQG for the challenge - so it will be a mini quilt. I’m planning to use my Lightning Bolt Block pattern for the challenge, because I’ve wanting to try it in black and white for a while. It was a little scary to cut into the fabrics, but I’m looking forward to putting it together!
