Un grand monsieur de la musique dont le dernier album a encore une fois séduit la crituique, Silvain Vanot, le retour en grâce – RFI Musique ne s’y est pas trompé, il s’agit bel et bien ici de grâce avec son nouvel album “Ithaque” un disque solitaire qu’il partage sur scène avec Christian Quermalet (Yann Tiersen, Married Monk…). .

☁ Double Hapax ☁ Cordes Sur Ciel

Double Hapax a le blues brut dans le son. Depuis Corde-sur-Ciel, "village préféré des Français" (élu par les téléspectateurs de Stéphane Bern en 2014), voilà la rencontre de l'exubérance d'Higelin, avec les guitares dépouillées de Scout Niblett et la dépression révoltée post-Diabologum. Double Hapax est un duo aux tâches bien réparties : les paroles au couteau de Jikabo (prof à la fac d'Albi le jour, figure de la scène slam tarnaise la nuit, instigateur de Saxifrage irrégulomadaire tarnais et cosmopolite), la musique à Brunoï Zarn, alias Kestekop, ex Teppaz et Naz - et sa guitare sans chair et à l'os. Ou la transformation du Tarn en flippant "ouest lointain".

Research - Michael Sallit //

The aspects that initially drew me to Michael Sallit’s work is the blend of people and the sense of place. Even thou this is obviously too obscure for the branding outcome I love how he has mixed a sense of place and travel directly with an individual. 

The work has taken the approach of layering a map into a person blending the two and also separating. The two become connected in a personal journey. Textures are created similar to a Risograph with contrast in colour. Overall, I love the different approach in a sense of communicating the concept.
