Season 2 Episode 1: Out

Phew what a first episode! We've got Nick and Charlie adorableness with Nick trying to come out to Imogen, clueless Tao and Elle trying her best to get him to notice her romantically, Tara and Darcy as always been the best lesbians, and a hint at Issac's upcoming arc! I am so happy everyone else is getting more fleshed out arcs because I personally adore Taoelle! It's been brilliant to see them shine and be so cute before getting together.

I also loveee it when the show so closely adapts from the comics - I can quote it line by line ehehe

Also shoutout to Jenny Walsh, I could feel hints of Soiltaire!Tori and I wonder how they're going to show hints of it in the show since they're pretty interwined. Also I need Michael Holden in this show so badly!

Now on to the more spoilery thoughts under the cut (also some minor references to Soiltaire!):

- I LOVE LOVED that it picked up right off from the the previous season and comic Chapter 4: Out. Like I said having the scenes literally lifted off the pages brings me so much joy! My favourite scene: Hanky Panky made it to onto this episode I laughed so loudly. I love Julio so much!

- Taoelle fighting for their lives trying to figure out what they are when they already act like a married couple is so funny to me. It's giving the perfect amount of cuteness and upcoming angst to come. Something about them just hits different for me. Also the apple juice scene was ADORABLE, her flirting with him I am SWOONING. I needed them together yesterday!

- The sleepover was so iconic; it was great seeing them all cozy and just hanging out. Truly friendship group goals!!

- It was also interesting to see them hint at Issac feeling a little felt out by the couples because I thought he was already out as ace! It will be an interesting journey to see him go through it so I'm readyy for that

- Nick struggling to come out to Imogen is so relatable and then to have her know in the end was so funny and what a relief. It was such a cute and heart felt moment I really really adored it.

- I was hoping Imogen wouldn't like Ben but here we are sigh. Is she supposed to be a counterpart to Becky (from Solitaire) like Issac is to Aled? Because this gives me hope we can have a secondary storyline with the events of Soiltaire peppered in.

- I am so glad Nick put Ben in his place during Study Hall like you do not get to speak Benjamin, you vile asshat.

- Speaking of Study Hall, Mr. Farouk is doing wayy too much. I know he's the stricter teacher but calm down sir. Overall it was kinda funny for him to be Like That

- Again the Hanky Panky scene was everything to me!! Charlie watch out with "Everything is going to be perfect" those are famous last words my guy

Aights overall, I loved it. How could I not? Alice always does brilliantly and I'm ready to dig into Episode 2!

I have said this before and I will say this again, I have to say Nick Nelson. But close second for Tori Spring. I think Nick is the energetic and more outgoing side of me, and Tori is the wired sad tumblr girlie in me.
