I didn’t know I could get asks. This is so exciting to me.

I don’t have a direct answer for this yet!! Personally, I love hyphenated last names. But in terms of characterization and stuff I think it comes down to how do divine families work? Do the gods hold last names to the same standard we do? I would have to assume yes because Akemi named her sword kikoku but I don’t know.

Also, how do the gods feel towards their parents (at the point in time that spark and ianite would be married )? Would she want to rid any association she has of her family?

Many things to think about. I will ponder !!

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

I love when the alts have a much harder time working together as a team. Putting aside their own personal issues for the good of the rest of the group and goals doesn’t come as naturally to them, because they weren’t around each other 24/7 in ruxmor so they don’t fit in as well with each other. drama issues interpersonal problems!

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

I think ‘despise’ is a strong word, most of these things irk me more than anything when it comes to characterization of the alts.

I have to go one by one, so I’ll start with:

Spark: why must we pit two bad bitches (him & the tree of katsir) against one another? the common denominator of the problem here is obviously ianite. But in all seriousness, it’s him being a mentor figure to jordan and him being open to that. like I don’t think either of them would enjoy being around each other for longer than necessary, much less taking advice from one another.

Mot: must every action he take be about his romantic love for his god? he is a father and (arguably) that’s a higher priority to him than dianite and has been for the last ten years. if faced with the decision to choose one or the other, could he honestly choose anyone other than Alyssa?

Alyssa: her considering ruxmor’s dianite as a father. last time she saw him she was six and he is arguably the reason her dad abandoned her to go back to ruxmor. she doesn’t know the guy, much less know him enough to view him like that just cause her dad fancies him.

Jeriah: people barely talk about him, but to be fair he’s got less than nothing in comparison to the rest so it’s understandable. I know that some people probably write him as being team mianite, but the guy fucking hates him, so much so that he apparently goes around helping others while talking shit about the god.

So, maybe it’s just because I’ve been playing a lot of Stardew Valley lately, but I have been having a couple of thoughts about a Mianite Stardew-esque au, but I have not nearly enough ideas right now to write anything for it.

Like the general idea is that Sonja has recently moved to a smallish coastal town. She’s less a farmer, more witchy vibes. She is growing plants, but mostly stuff for her own research and magic. She ends up roped into growing things for the locals, as she quickly realises her plan to move into the old farm house and be left alone isn’t actually an option.

Within her first week, she’s basically jumped on by Tom, the son of a local business owner, who's excited for a fresh face in town. He doesn’t understand magic at all, and ends up introducing her to his friends as the new farmer, but she has to admit that his excite is intoxicating and it is nice to actually have people around that are her own age (her old mentor was both pretty much the only person she spoke to by the time she moved, and older than by more than a few decades).

There’s Tucker (blacksmith’s apprentice) whose grumpy but friendly enough, Jordan (gonna be honest, no idea) who Tom spends the whole time flirting with, Capsize (runs a diving business with her brother) who grimaces as Jordan introduces her as his girlfriend, Waglington (he claims he’s a freelance architect, but Sonja clocks he right away as a wizard - he’s both) who sits quietly sipping a drink as the others begin bickering. Sonja has no idea what to really make of the group after their first meeting, but finds herself definitely in their friendship group rather quickly.

Generally it’s just like a small town, cosy vibes, but also there’s probably like an evil supermarket threatening the vibes or something. Definitely Foxxsize (and Syndisparklez once Jordan gets his shit together). But like small town witch Sonja having some good time vibes with new friends.

Firstly, *neckcracking head-swivel* Dianite mention??? I hath laid eyes upon the name of an ancient god, and felt the years crawl upon my spine as such an old man does. I rejoice in kinship knowing that those hallowed names have been tasted by lips other than my own in recent times!!!

.... I don't know where that came from but TL;DR I am happy bouncing that the -anite Three are also canon in this world, that series was the first Minecraft series I ever watched.
