Hello Lovely!
Let me just say that I’m obsessed with your fica and they always get me through my studying breaks! Can I request print 1. “Kiss for good luck” with my favourite American boy Logan 😩🥰 he’s been hitting a lil different lately.
P.S hoping this disaster start of a weekend is over quickly my gods!!
Not gonna lie seeing your name in my inbox made me so happy. Hope your doing well! And yeah let's hope this disaster of weekend ends quickly.
Title: Nerves Alight Words: 375 Prompt: “Kiss for good luck?” w/ Logan Sargeant Note(s)/Warning(s): Reader is American and from Nevada (the state that Las Vegas is in). Also, Logan calls her Dice because I'm a sucker for cute weird nicknames.
Masterlist | Support Me!
She couldn’t help but feel nervous as she watched Logan get ready for qualifying. Despite being together for nearly a year and a half this was the first race she had been able to attend. She had been at Miami, Montreal, Austin, and Mexico for the races but not at the tracks themselves, too busy with school, either class or studying, or doing the tutoring sessions she had already signed up to do before Logan had convinced her to join him.
He had pouted, whined, tugged at her a bit when she told him she had to stay at the hotel or in Miami’s case his place, but she had remained unrelenting. Even when he offered to just give her the money she would have been paid for tutoring. She had a five star rating for a reason and in her three years of tutoring she had never canceled a session.
So watching him now, at his third home race in her home state, after the events of the first free practice and after overhearing that Carlos Sainz apparently had lost some feeling in his legs for a few seconds, she couldn’t help but worry. Her nerves set her a light as her hands uselessly clenched and unclenched. Her legs crossing and uncrossing.
“It’ll be okay, Dice.” He tells her, crouching in front of her and taking her hands in his. “Everything will be alright.” He soothes, when she doesn’t roll her eyes at him calling her Dice. She gives him a shaky smile. “I know. I just never watched it in person.” He knows that's not it, but he’s grateful that she doesn’t actually say why.
After the race ended, he’d happily reassure her fully and let her talk about how scary it was to see him in the car after FP1 but now, he couldn’t. Needed to focus on qualifying and he was beyond grateful she understood that.
Hearing a knock on his door, he sighs at the signal that they need to leave and he stands, offering her hand to pull her up and she takes it. Pulling her a little closer, he leans in close, noses brushing against each other.
“Kiss for good luck?” She smiles and presses their lips together.

So I decided to put this up on a print-on-demand site for stickers and buttons. I signed up for Redbubble but my account was flagged and frozen about.5 seconds after I created it. Anyone have experience on red bubble or any other print-on-demand?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (just to be clear: I said this on my previous post but neglected to mention this here. I’m not making any money off of this. Just going through the effort because some people, especially those that aren’t writers or artists, want something visual to declare support. I’ll be donating any money to a victim’s support org. Right now, I’m looking into one in Florida where one of the accusers is maybe from? The top contender is the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center in Miami)

Dear Chronivac Support
Is chronivac active or shut down? I'm a wealthy guy looking for some fun and adventure. There is a hot Latin poolboy in our neighborhood inspiring me to enjoy holidays as a latino. I searched the internet and found eric gustavo Oliveira as hot guy. A spring break as a latino like him would be great. I hope I can swap back later?
I recommend Chronivac Travel for this. I have a very cool offer for Cartagena. If you allow, I will put everything together for you. You don't even have to pack. You get your luggage with your boarding pass at the American counter in JFK.
The flight departs at 06:50. So, according to your habit, you will be at the airport at 05:50. But sorry, you fly low cost in economy. Fortunately for you, we have already checked you in and checked your luggage. Here are your boarding pass and your backpack. You can give me your Louis Vuitton laptop bag, you won't need it for the next two weeks.
The queue at the security check is annoying. You are used to the fast lane. But I want you to have the ultimate Latino experience. Of course, your backpack will be patted down. Grinning, the officer flips through the Spanish gay magazines. He asks you something in Spanish. You begin to regret the whole action.
Before boarding, you have just enough time to get a beer and a sandwich for the first leg to Miami. You look for your wallet. Actually, it should be in the inside pocket of your jacket. But you realize you're not wearing a jacket anymore. Shit, did you forget it at the security checkpoint? But why do you have the hip bag hanging in front of your chest? You look, there is a cheap nylon purse. With a cannabis leaf in front of the Colombian flag on it. And inside, next to your Colombian ID and driver's license, a few old dollar bills. And a credit card. Apparently your name is now Diego Gonzales. When you ask the flight attendant at boarding if you could get an upgrade, you can hardly remember the English words. The flight attendant does not understand your request, but smiles friendly and tells you in broken Spanish your row and your seat.
Fuck, the lad next to you is a real beauty. You find it hard not to look at him all the time. At some point he asks you in English, smiling, when you are already on approach, if Miami is your destination. You shake your head, show your chest and answer "I Cartagena home". He answers you "You follow me". You understood that. And you do that in Miami in the airport. With a little distance. But the splendid ass always in view. The man disappears in a toilet. You follow. The door to a stall is a little bit open. You open the door and behind it the stallion is already waiting with his pants down. You understand the command. You kneel on the dirty floor and blow the fellow. He moans a little too loud for this place. Someone rants something about gay perverts. Your seat neighbor blows his load in your face. But even that is not new for you. You lick the hard-on skillfully clean, suck off the last drop and stow the cock in his pants. Without giving you a glance, the fellow throws you a few dollar bills. And quickly leaves the toilet. Almost 50 dollars. Not bad. You would have done the blow job for free. But now you should hurry to get to your connecting flight.
On the flight to Cartagena, you'll finally get your upgrade. Crossing business class on the way to your seat, you make eye contact with a gentleman in row 2 for a little too long. And no sooner have you stowed your carry-on luggage than a flight attendant stands next to you and tells you with a wink that your uncle in row 2 invites you to spend the flight next to him. As soon as you reach cruising altitude, your newfound uncle invites you to become a member of the Mile High Club. He raises the privacy screen, activates the "do not disturb" sign. And unbuttons his pants. An upgrade to business class. And $600 in freshly printed bills. Your stock is soaring.
Home at last! Three weeks of vacation in your homeland, until you have to go back to the gringos. Where vacation means you'll be working at the Bomba Beach Club. In the service. And maybe there will be some extra income. Usually the three weeks are enough to pay your rent for half a year in New Jersey. Whereby it certainly won't be long before your mother will ask again if you wouldn't like to find yourself a nice young Colombian and be happy here.
You are already smiling at the thought. Your parents have picked you up from the airport, you have freshened up and are already wearing your work clothes. Your vacation begins with the evening shift. That is good. Then the tips are more generous. It's going to be a great three weeks! Thank you for traveling with Chronivac.

i forgot i was gonna post my shigaraki cosplay from nycc this past weekend, but here it is!!! plus my friend that cosplayed jacket from hotline miami.
something about the combination of the not great wig being super dense and big at the top and the baggy clothes makes me look so SMALL but oh well lol. i was kinda nervous about the cosplay but i got a lot of compliments and a lot of people wanted to take pics together so i think overall, it was a success.
i also just had a lot of fun finding any other mha cosplayers to get pictures with, i managed to find 3 aizawas to be like OMG ERASERHEAD and ofc i had to ask to take a pic with them bc, as shigaraki, it was the only correct thing to do.
anyway yeah. this was my second time at comic con (my first time was two years ago, and funny enough i went as aizawa lol) and it was just so funnnnn i also got signed prints from the escorza brothers and ben bishop, and it was just. so cool. i got to talk a bit with ben bishop about the newest gen turtles from the last ronin series and it was SO COOL. anyway. yeah i think that's enough but it was great i wanna find more cons to go to and make more cosplays
(some process pics and my 2022 cosplay under cut!!)
so i actually 3d printed the hands and then covered them in clay to make them. my friend (the same one thats jacket above) has access to 3d printers so thanks to him i was able to get these articulated hands printed, i dunno how i wouldve made them otherwise without going totally broke
then of course i painted them and made the bases (making those boxes was my own personal hell) and then attached the tubes :D
aaaand here are some pics of me as aizawa from 2 years ago!!
#shutup alex#my hero academia#mha#bnha#boku no hero academia#shigaraki tomura#mha shigaraki#cosplay#nycc#comic con#new york comic con#its me#i dont know if i have a tag for pics of me bc i think in the 10ish years ive had this account ive only posted pics of myself maybe once??

The amount of barns I’ve seen with an American flag painted on them and then a m*ga sign has unfortunately caused me to associate the two as one thing unless the flag is in some very specific context
But wearing something with the flag print when it’s not the 4th of July has just always felt weird to me which might be mostly why I’m not vibing with the rbr miami team kit. And personally I think this team kit would’ve been better suited for Texas instead of Miami
Goddd don't even get me started on the murals n shit 🙄🙄🙄
It says this is the kit they'll be wearing for each American race this year and I guess it's meant to be like a catch all 'hey here's something so we don't have to do something new 3 time's just like Max having one helmet that he'll run thrice for the American races. Cool or whatever but a flag shirt isn't it. It doesn't make sense to me
The Miami vibe is marketed as teal and pink and other neon or pastel versions of those colours. It doesn't match the vibe at all.
(isn't it actually illegal to wear the flag? I know no one actually follows this but isn't that a thing as well?)
Also (not red bulls fault) but it also doesn't help that there was person trying to hold a fundraiser in the paddock club. So.... Read the room maybe

Remembering The Long-Forgotten Clermont County Gold Rush Of 1868
Byron Williams, who published the exhaustive 1913 history of Clermont and Brown counties in Ohio, spares not a single word in his two-volume epic for the gold rush of 1868. Perhaps this is understandable.
Compared to the renowned California Gold Rush of 1849, the Clermont County gold rush of 1868 was hardly noticeable outside a handful of incurable optimists. Oh, there was gold in the creeks east of Cincinnati, it is true. There’s still gold there and it is easily found. The problem is, it takes a lot more time, money and effort to get that gold out than it is commercially worth – even at the lofty prices gold has claimed since it was deregulated in 1975. The economic futility of Ohio gold was summarized as early as 1873 in the report of Ohio State Geologist Edward Orton:
“From what has already been said, it will be seen that Clermont County has no monopoly of the gold-bearing formation of Ohio. This formation should be named the ‘Drift gold field,’ rather than the ‘Clermont County gold field.’ All of the counties of southwestern Ohio certainly share in its treasures, and without doubt one locality is as good as another, where gravels are found that have been washed from the bowlder clay. The best results thus far known to have been obtained in gold-mining in Ohio are reported for Warren county, where in one day gold to the value of six dollars was obtained – by an outlay of ten dollars; a half-dozen days’ work being also thrown in.”
Nevertheless, there are some folks for whom the gold fever never subsides, and Clermont County has been subjected to hard-working miners and unscrupulous fraudsters in approximately equal measures ever since. According to the Spring 1985 newsletter of the Ohio Geological Survey:
“Gold was first discovered in Clermont County on the farm of Robert Wood, near Elk Lick, on the banks of the East Fork of the Little Miami River. This site is now located on the north shore of William H. Harsha Lake at East Fork State Park.”
It is almost certain that any discovery of gold will attract equal numbers of hard-working miners and shady flim-flam men. Several stock companies were set up to finance gold-digging operations in Clermont County, but few paid dividends. The newspapers were full of breathless proclamations of easy riches. “Professor” J.W. Glass announced in the Ohio Statesman [21 September 1868]:
“I believe that were we supplied with an abundance of water for hydraulic purposes, our hills would pay equally well as those of California.”
Glass estimated that hand-panning would yield no more than fifty to seventy-five cents worth of gold in a day, while hydraulic mining could generate anywhere from twelve to fifteen dollars a day. A correspondent signing himself M. Jamieson informed the Cincinnati Gazette [31 August 1868]:
“Old California miners have prospected over a good portion of this field, and report gold in almost any ravine where they tried their luck. Those miners seem sanguine, and say they found no better diggings in California.”
Alas, such wishful appraisals never, shall we say, “panned out.” The Cincinnati Post [22 Januray 1897] echoed State Geologist Orton while taking an honest look at the situation:
“Every year or so some newspaper correspondent in Clermont County, Ohio, or some contiguous county sends a report of the discovery of gold and of mining enterprises for its recovery. These reports of gold in these counties are true. It has not been found to be minable, because it costs about $5 – in money and labor – to get out $1 in gold.”
That judgement didn’t prevent the Post from printing, just eight years later, a small feature on Clermont miner John Allen, who had dug a 200-foot tunnel into a hillside along Cabin Run Creek in an area known as Bear Hollow. Allen called his mine Paradise Gulch and worked it without ever striking the mother lode into the 1920s. His mine shaft is now collapsed.
Allen failed to find the source of the gold flakes extracted from nearby creeks because he misunderstood the local geology. Unlike California, where seams of gold up in the hills erode into flakes of placer gold in the streams, Ohio has only placer gold. The mother lode for Ohio’s gold is somewhere up in Canada and all the gold found here was dragged south by the glaciers that once blanketed our state.
Gold fever revived in the 1930s when the regulated value of the precious metal was boosted to $35 an ounce and so many men were out of work due to the Great Depression. A farmer named Robert Titus found a few gold flakes in a creek that ran through his farm and set up a company to exploit the find. Titus built a gasoline powered sluice that could sift a cubic yard of gravel and sand in less than an hour. According to the Ohio Geological Survey:
“Considerable excitement was created by this venture and Titus was reportedly offered financial backing and outright purchase of his 40-acre farm for $1,500 per acre. No commercial quantities of gold were ever produced from this deposit and most of the metal recovered was sold for souvenirs.”
Today, Clermont County prospectors are almost exclusively hobbyists. The Cincinnati Mineral Society has led occasional field trips to a tributary of Stonelick Creek since the 1960s, as has the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History and Science.
Still, the lure of gold fires the imagination. Michael Hansen of the Ohio Geological Survey recalled the heady days of gold speculation in the 1980s:
“In early 1980, when gold prices skyrocketed to more than $800 per ounce, the survey received up to 600 letters each week after newspaper articles across the state identified the Survey as the organization responsible for such matters in Ohio.”

FUN FACTS -tw- mention of death & hunting (animals)
sierra was raised in miami, florida until the age of 8.
miami was one of the fastest cities overrun by infected, and the outbreak killed everyone in her family.
her neighbors took her to utah with them, where they stayed with a group they'd found along the way. they built their own city, with their own rules, and she learned how to hunt in the process.
as she got older, she had grown adapt skills to hunting, like tracking animal prints, scents, and environmental elements.
when she turned 22, she became the head hunter for the town. bringing in a lot of their food, and the occasional goods.
her weapon of choice is a bow and arrow, automatic if available.
the town started accepting new people, and those people would end up turning on them and killing almost everyone she grew up with while she fled to safety with another.
this drove sierra to a life of vengeance, who turned her hunting animals skills into hunting other people. she began hunting the ones who killed her friends and one by one, she rid them of this world while she pierced a mark into her arm like a tally to keep track.
she eventually found the qz, where she was assigned as a bounty hunter. very fitting.
