It had been a few weeks since you last saw Pedri and it couldn’t have been worse. He was occupying every thought and every dream, making you question your decision. Maybe it could’ve been better if you just agreed to go back and resume life without ever mentioning your undying love. You constantly stalked his instagram and even the gossip accounts just to see him being completely mia. He wasn’t spotted out in a while and hasn’t posted any training pics which was out of the ordinary but couldn’t bring yourself to reach out. It’s not like you haven’t thought about it but just was worried the reaction you’d get would be severely negative.

The only way you could be notified of his recent life was through Ferran and Sara. She was constantly coming by and trying to cheer you up, you weren’t particularly close beforehand but even the most stupid person aka Ferran could tell there had been something wrong with you and Pedri so Sara tried her best to be there for you even though you didn’t tell her much just that you had a falling out. It sounded stupid, like you were two high schoolers but you didn’t know how to put it into words. Sara understood and didn’t pry too much.

“You’re coming, right?” she asked excitedly but you were completely zoned out thinking about Pedri again.

“Coming where?”

“To Ferran’s birthday silly.” she bumped her shoulder with yours in a playful manner but you were quick to shake your head repeatedly.

“Yes yes yes yes” she raised eyebrows trying to sound authoritative. “You need it, also Ferran really wants you there”

“Sara I really appreciate it but I’m going to have to pass.”

“Y/N, isn’t it time that you let go?”

You didn’t answer, you couldn’t because you weren’t ready to start crying in the middle of a cafe on a random Thursday.

“Look, I don’t know the specifics but I know you two care about each other even though you don’t believe it right now. You were really close for a long time, that’s not something you could pretend never happened, if you want to talk to him this is your opportunity and if you don’t that’s also completely fine. Just don’t shut yourself out.” she sympathetically held your hand and made you look up at her.

“But if you seriously don’t want to, I’ll find something to tell Ferran. Do what you think is the best.”

You thanked her and left the cafe soon after needing a long bath to clear your head. There was no way you could go to a party Pedri would definitely be at, it was the dumbest thing you could do.

So here you were, waiting nervously next to Sara fidgeting with your hands while simultaneously trying to act chill. It was a hard combo to maintain and you often found yourself scanning the room vigorously to see if a certain someone showed up yet.

“He’ll come, just relax.” she said noticing your mannerisms and all you could manage to do was a small nod.

After a while with the help of alcohol, you managed to loosen up a little. You wished Ferran a happy birthday and danced with him and Sara for the most part but now had to use the bathroom. When you were finally done and making your way downstairs, your eyes immediately met with Pedri’s. It’s like he was waiting for you, under the stairs just looking up. He looked even better now, if that’s possible. He shaved and was surprisingly wearing bootcut cargo pants instead of his usual skinny jeans. He looked at you with such softness you almost melted but quickly told yourself off for being this delusional, if he wanted you he would’ve said something. He rejected you.

You tried to look unbothered and tried walking past him without having any conversation, as much as you wanted to see Pedri once you did you realized you were still so hung up on him and it made you pity yourself. But Pedri, being as annoying as he was, couldn’t let you to just leave without talking to him and followed you around like a lost puppy. You tried engaging in convos with random people beside you just to make him leave but he patiently waited until whoever you were talking to had to bail and play beer pong.

“Can we talk now?” he expectantly asked while you looked around for any possible escape routes but there weren’t any.

“About what?”

“Y/N I miss you” he said defeated and you immediately felt your eyes watering.

“We shouldn’t do this here, c’mon let’s find somewhere more quiet.” you said and walked ahead of him. It was actually because you didn’t want to cry in front of 100 people.

Once you were outside sitting on the loungers he took a deep breath and started again.

“Y/N I know it’s all my fault. I know that I hurt you so much and I’m sorry for all of it. I didn’t get a chance to properly do it before.” he looked down embarrassed and you slowly nodded. You weren’t actually waiting for an apology but hearing Pedri take responsibility made you feel a little bit better.

“Honestly, it’s okay Pedri.” you looked up at him and for a moment saw his eyes glistening when you called him Pedri instead of Pedro.

“This is life, you can’t always get what you want. I really don’t blame you, there’s no bad blood, yeah.” you smiled softly and he nervously gulped.

“I- I wanted to…”

“We should get back inside.” you announced as he was saying something.

“Did you want to say something?”

“Um, no no.”

You went back inside and successfully removed yourself from the awkward situation. Talking with him both felt familiar and new, like something completely changed in your relationship forever and you didn’t know whether to be happy or sad about it.

Throughout the night, Pedri watched your every move. His eyes never left your figure while you tried to keep yourself busy yet he never approached you again. As much as you enjoyed his attention, it was also a curse because you tripped on your two feet more times than you could count and it was becoming more and more embarrassing by the second. Your latest success was to spill your beer all over the floor and on yourself a little. Everyone laughed at how clumsy you were and so did you, the alcohol in your system making it easier. Sara told you, you could clean yourself in their bathroom and even get something to change into so you went upstairs oblivious to the fact that Pedri followed suit.

You clumsily picked out a shirt from Sara’s closet and as you pulled your shirt up the door opened slowly and Pedri was on the other side. He immediately looked away, took a step back and shut the door a little so there’s just a crack.

“Oh I’m so sorry I knocked but when you didn’t answer, just wanted to check up on you.” he excused himself and you were too shocked to realize you were in your bra when he walked in. You only remembered to put the other shirt on once he got out.

“Uh, it’s alright. I was just changing.” you said with burning cheeks. “Is there anything I can help you with?”

“Y/N I have some things I want to say to you and I wanted to talk to you outside but chickened out before.” he started and you stiffened up thinking this couldn’t be anything good. Maybe he had a girlfriend and wanted to let you know before they made it public or he wanted you to exclude yourself from his friend group.

“Why are we talking through a door? You can come inside and talk.” you laughed a little trying ti ease the situation but Pedri stayed outside.

“It’s easier this way.”

“Pedri if it’s…”

“Please let me finish. I prepared a speech and all just in case if I ever had the guts to talk to you. When I first came onto you, I didn’t know why I did it and I know this makes me a jerk but it’s the truth. I thought it was because I was frustrated and I just needed an outlet but… I would never have done something like that to you I care about you so much so when it happened I was a wreck. I was a proper asshole and I don’t blame you for leaving me like that. I chalked it all up to being lonely and having a close friendship but no, all day all night I thought about it Y/N. I tried my best to keep the act and continue being friends but when you pulled away from me it hurt so much that’s when I knew it couldn’t just be the friendship we have. It must be something more if I follow you around town just to prevent you from hooking up with a guy.” he laughed a little and you joined him. Even though that night was a nightmare for the most part, you couldn’t shake the feeling when he came to pick you up or when he begged the receptionist for the room number.

“So I knew then. I don’t know how I could be so blind for all this time actually. But after that you were so broken that I couldn’t cause you any more pain. I figured it’d be easier for both of us if I stayed silent and let you live your own life because truth to be told I’m a mess. I can’t promise you anything, I can’t say I’ll never hurt you because I did.”

You were slowly inching towards the door and didn’t even realize some tears falling from your eyes with his confession. He was right, he hurt you and made you miserable but he also made you the happiest girl with just a smile or a hug. You felt safe around him, you felt appreciated.

“And my life is so busy and I don’t ever want to make you feel neglected, this season has been… Never mind, we’re here to talk about us.” and with that you opened the door and saw Pedri also with teary eyes and a pout. When he saw you open the door he was taken aback and stopped immediately like he forgot everything he wanted to say.

“Y/N”

“Pedri” you smiled and once he saw you he started smiling too. You looked at each other for a moment before he reached for your hands pulling you a little closer.

“I meant everything I said.”

“I know.” and you really did know, Pedri may be a lot of things but he’s not a liar.

“And I know you deserve the best, you deserve a stable guy with the most time in the world to shower you with love and…” he trailed off.

You squish both your breasts together and pucker your lips in the form when kissing . You giggle again and wink at your reflection and make a sexy pose, arching your back . Damn you are adorable. You laugh again and with your first and middle finger you give a flying kiss to yourself. Sometimes a girl needs to feel Beautiful, you say out loud to no one and make your way back to the bar from where you stand. The hallway is empty , where you stand currently and you were confused as you were trying to find the bathroom and mayyyybe you were tipsy, a little. Duh ! a lot . You are giggling nonstop and feel like floating on cloud nine. You stumbled upon this mirror which extends from floor to ceiling , and just like anyone in your position would do , you needed to check yourself out. You lean on the mirror and kiss yourself and start walking back to your friends.

Steve looks up from the file he was holding . Sam did a great job but changes need to be made , overall it's pretty good .He exhales loudly and sighs , good. His gaze floats around the room and suddenly lands on your figure, giggling and making all those pretty poses, sexy and then adorable. His lips turn up slightly and then he's full on smiling at your little show . He finds himself checking you out, from your hair sticking to your forehead from sweat , your shiny eyes , your cute nose and your beautiful lips. He licks his own lips , and lets his gaze roam over your figure and stands up . He moves towards the door when you lean in to kiss the mirror. He blinks suddenly and smiles again . So adorable he thinks and then you are moving away

. He stares at the mirror long after you are gone and paints your picture in his mind again. So beautiful. He smiles again and shakes his head at himself over the thought of acting like a boy with a secret crush . He moves back to his chair. Granted, making the door as a two way mirror wasn't a good idea but nobody wandered in this area. It was his office where he ran business. His new club was doing well, it was new but he knew it would be a success like many other businesses of his. He settles back in his chair and his head hits the back of soft leather. His eyes fall shut and the images of you flashes in his head .

"Thought you got kidnapped " Mia sighs out loud when you approach her beside the counter where the bartender places two drinks ."Don't worry ! bub. Nobody can handle me , not even the kidnappers and they will be returning me within an hour if they ever took me " You pout and chuckle a little at your own silly joke. "Oh ! I don't know " she rolls her eyes and hands you another drink . "Cheers!" You both shout in unison and gulp down your drinks.

“Maybe it’s not enough for me.”

I stare into those captivating golden eyes. My statement hangs in the air between us for a heart’s beat before I throw caution to the window. I grab onto Sel’s face and quickly press my lips to his.

No turning back now.

His lips are so soft and, unsurprisingly, so warm against mine. I move my lips against his, chasing the warmth but something makes me pause.

Sel was not responding.

Heat floods my face as panic and embarrassment begin to seep in.

Did I misread things? Did I push too far? Why is he not responding? I shouldn’t have assumed.

I quickly retract my lips from his, retreating but Sel is just as fast. He grips my neck with lightning speed, holding me in place. His eyes are smoldering in the darkness, illuminated by the fireflies dancing around us. I attempt to blink away the tears of humiliation that have gathered in the corner of my eyes. I open my mouth, an apology on the tip of my tongue when I feel Sel’s hold on the nape of my neck tighten, coaxing a gasp out of me instead. Sel’s eyes burn even brighter into mine at the sound.

Sel clears his throat, his hold on me loosening only slightly. His eyes bore into mine, almost if he’s searching for something.

Needing something.

My breath catches in my throat, waiting, anticipating his next move. When Sel speaks, his voice is rough, low. Dangerous.

“Are you sure?”

My heart is lodged in my throat. He gives my neck another squeeze.

“Are you sure you want this, Briana?” 

**I know I've been MIA for a long, long time but I just needed a break away from Legendborn. Still on the fence about it, but I think I might end up walking away from the fandom as a whole. I wish Legendborn and Tracy Deonn all the success as we eagerly await the next installment, but for right now that's where I am at.

However, I do plan on completing the pics that I said I would complete: so O3V & the 2nd and/or 3rd part to 'addicted to you'.

Heya Friends!

Been going through a lot lately. But I wanna talk about I guess.. *kind* of a soft launch of sorts. It's a really long story but first and foremost, you all know me as Maycee. That name was formally Mia but I couldn't really feel a decent alternative after the big stuff 2 years ago.

There's also another thing, that's been going through alot of work as well.. Only spoke about it on a private vent twitter blog. So kinda soft pitching this here first. Cuz not quite ready to say this out loud elsewhere. Only a select few irl friends and stuff even go here so it's..kind of a more comfortable way to do this. We're still pretty closeted so if this is how you found out, apologies! I hope this isn't upsetting. We'll talk soon together about it. Anyway!

We're pretty certain we're plural! It's been a hell of a month and a LONG story.. But I, Usagi, remembered a headmate I had long ago through some really rough times. Before I even knew what those terms were or how to describe it. We have no idea how to front swap or what she fully looks like right now. But to go along side my new name of Usagi, she's Minako! Or just Mina for short.

If it sounds familiar..yeeeah..

Mia: oh oh enthusiasm and passion shaped!:3 albeit initially soft spoken about it for most part she's very easily excited once anything important to her comes up I mean like the look in the pic I choose for her for this one ;w;

Evelyn: gentleness shaped :") she approaches just about anything with extreme care and delicacy. As mentioned before she thinks everything through before initiating so she ensures the aura is safe for both parties when approaching someone. (That's how she first interacted with the love of her life 🤭)

Mia: her chin ribbon straw hat, blue wolf plushie, and a certain flower she magically kept crystallized as a momentum that got someone genuinely interested in her outlook on things. (They both sat down at a cafe and he couldn't help find how excited she got over said single flower blooming out of a crack right next to their window to be endearing, there's a long meta for that but to put shortly it's like having her passion acknowledged and cherished 🤧)

Evelyn : a bit trickier since I doubt she got to keep anything from her old home so I haven't exactly pondered if any of her possessions there particularly stood out for her to cling to it, and her foster parent was never the most generous person either. But for one I could name a gold pendant with a stone the color of fire she got as a surprise from someoneee after a certain festival in secret (🤭). She wears it often as possible and takes extra care of it so that's an obvious first pick :")

i watched the perseids meteor shower this weekend!! also finished an illustrative poster for a competition lol

i went to an observatory where they talked about other stars and constellations, and their mythical stories as well! it was really amazing, I'm so fascinated by both the science and myths of the sky, it brought back a motivation to learn all the constellations again! after the observatory, i went to a calm and out-of-town roadside and the stars were absolutely beautiful 😭✨️ too bad i forgot to charge my camera's battery bc the moment i figured all the settings the battery died... nevertheless it was really calming, I'm glad i managed to go

also, let's just try to find motivation from each other in terms of improving our eating/sleeping habits then hehe

Fic Ideas:

Alright, rehashing the Pacific Rim SteveTony AU idea. Tony designs Jaegers. His heart's too weak to drift, but he takes what Howard made and makes them BETTER. And he gets to know the pilots--including Steve, who pilots WinterShield with his best friend.

Then--Steve's killed while fighting. Tony and Bucky bond in their grief. Tony still builds, but Bucky won't fight anymore, says he can't (he could. He's compatible with Barton and Romanoff.) THEN, the BlackHawk gets torn to pieces in a fight. Baron and Romanoff survive, but it forces Tony (he's fixed his heart don't look too close as i handwave plot) & Bucky to drift and fight. And then things start to get better. They don't drive the mosnters back--but they hold their own. Bucky falls in love. Tony-- Tony grieves and throws himself into work.

And then, they hear word of a Jaeger in the north. And it's very familiar fighting style.

Fic Idea:

(This was ALMOST this year's holiday fic, because how do we not have this yet??): Tony & Steve grow up together and make a pack that when they're 35, if they're still not married, they'll marry each other. On May 29th, Steve shows up at Tony's door, on a whirlwind leave. It's been 4 years since they saw each other.

He's only able to stay two days, but it's long enough to run to vegas and get married, and it's CRAZY, right, Pepper might actually kill him this time, but it's the easiest thing Tony's ever done, saying yes when Steve grins at him.

Steve very deliberately doesn't seriously date after he turns 30. Tony hasn't had a relationship last longer than a weekend since he got dumped by his fiancée in college and they made this stupid pact.

Fic Idea:

Tony and his complicated relationship with the press. Five times Tony protects people from the media being around him causes, and one time Steve steps into the limelight for him.

Going on tour this time is different. It's different because of that kiss on New Year's Eve, the one Steve gave him before he told Tony he loved him. Forced in close proximity, Tony spends most of the tour hiding in the beds of the other Ultimates.

Steve doesn't mind--he likes watching Tony with the other people who love him, and he knows what he wants and how he feels. More than that--he knows Tony. And Tony can't run from him forever.

I need y'all to know how fluffy and soft this will be, like, Steve and Tony are ABSOLUTELY in love, but also Tony is scared of fucking things up and the rest of the Ultimates love him so much, and everyone sleeps together a lot, but nothing hurts and everyone's happy.

Rhodey goes MIA a few months after Tony takes over SI. Steve is the army captain assigned to handle the very distraught pissed as hell Tony. Tony, who the papers paint as a reckless playboy, is viciously focused in getting back his best friend. Steve thinks its hot.

When they finally bring him home, Rhodey is both curious and cautious about the pretty army boy who is too interested in Tony. Steve just wants to take care of them and Tony is in way over his head with a recouping Rhodey. Misunderstandings and eventual schmoop ensuses.

Fic Idea:

Tony works nights. Steve works days. They agree to a flat share arrangement. They communicate strictly through notes left in the apartment. They've never met. Until they do.

Fic Idea:

Steve is an old werewolf, living packless in the woods. He doesnt mind being alone--it's safer that way. He's content to live out what's left of his life alone until he finds a catshifter in his woods, ripped up and left for dead.

Fic Idea:

Steve and tony are outted by the press 6 months into a healthy happy relationship and it takes less than 2 months for them to fall apart due to the pressure and scrutiny. How they find their way back and manage leading the Avengers is a bit messier and takes longer.

Fic Idea:

Bucky has a one night stand before he goes to war. He goes missing in action and months later, Steve is sent his personal belongings. Including letters from an omega he's never heard of, named Tony, sending pictures of a pretty baby. Bucky's baby.

Steve finds Tony--if for no other reason, than to tell him about Bucky and to meet what amounts to his nephew. But he realizes how broke Tony is, alone and disowned and trying to finish school. Maybe Tony didnt mean much to Bucky--no one ever did--but he smells like home and safety, like everything Steve didn't know he wanted. And Peter fits, in his arms, a way nothing ever has. It's easy, to welcome them into his home, to help them. It's even easier to fall in love.

And then--Bucky comes home, and finds the pretty omega he barely remembers in his brother's clothes and home, and holding a baby.

Fic Idea:

Howard finds Steve in the early seventies. He marries Peggy but she's killed and he's left lost and angry and without any real purpose. Until Howard calls and asks for a favor. His son has been getting in trouble and could use a bodyguard.

Fic Idea:

After Endgame, Steve and Tony are together and life is good but there's the small matter of the cults that have sprung up worshiping them. Because Steve wielded the power of a god and Tony wielded the Gauntlet. And people are trying to process that so cults.

Fic Idea:

Today I'm thinking about that fic I started, in which Tony is an Omega in need of an Alpha chaperone at MIT and Rhodey takes the job. And then, when Howard & Maria die, Bonds with Tony so he can inherit SI and not be forced to Bond with Obie.

So for twenty odd years, it's very common knowledge that Tony Stark is Bonded to his college 'sweetheart' Rhodey, and then--Steve shows up and Tony falls head over heels for him and that's 100% mutual but TONY HAS AN ALPHA OH NOS!

And Tony can't figure out why Steve who is OBVIOUSLY into him won't make a move, even when he's in heat and throwing himself at Steve, until Steve explains, a little confused and a lot conflicted, that he's not gonna steal another Alpha's omega, and James deserves better.

And that's when Tony calls Rhodey from the other room and says, hey baby, do you mind if I break our Bond to get with Steve and he's like, FUCKING FINALLY, DUDE! And Steve finds out that it was only ever a platonic Bond because Rhodey would literally do anything for his bestie.

Fic Idea:

The PR agent responsible for Steve getting a Twitter is also responsible for every time he gets fighty online, which happens every time Tony is insulted. Tony is DELIGHTED he isn't PR's problem child anymore.

Fic Idea:

Tony watches WWII unfolding and knows that something is necessary to help win, so he sends a piece of himself to earth--the Tesseract. And when that's not enough, he falls, giving up his place with the stars, to help humanity.

And then he meets Steve, and uses his fading power--he's dying but he's not going to tell any of them that--to power Project Rebirth. I think probably too he's part of why Steve survives the ice, but I need to work on that.

Fic Idea:

Dragon rider SteveTony AU.

They're from different clans. But they're forced together because of blah blah reasons (oh maybe the dragons are mating?) And Tony loathes Steve who is a big damn hero his father won't shut up about. And maybe he's projecting a little--

He wasn't supposed to Bond with a dragon, he isn't supposed to even be here--but he's never going to live up to Cap's expectations, not the guy who rewrote the rules on dragon bonds and single handily turned the course of the war.

Steve meanwhile cant get a single word out because gosh Tony is pretty and smart and when he rides his dragon--🤯

Their dragons would Very Much Appreciate if the idiot humans would get their shit together.

Fic Idea:

Steve never had a soulmate. Never had a mark. But one night in late may, he wakes up to a burning on his arm and his name in almost illegible scrawl. Howard calls and tells him about the birth of his son the next day.

He goes to see the baby a week later and holds Tony and he can see it, his words too large on Tony's little chest, but he murmurs them anyway. It's terrifying and everything he wanted and Tony is a BABY so he puts the kid down and swears to himself to keep his distance.

But he has a half formed bond with Tony and he doesn't always stay away and then when Tony is two--he's brilliant but talks late--he says 'steeb' at a Christmas party. It's his first word and it completes the bond. Tony grows up with it. He never realizes that they're soulmates.

Because he was so tiny when they bonded and it's all he's ever known and Steve is convinced he can't be with Tony and Tony--wants nothing to do with the nameless faceless person responsible for his words, he just wants Steve.

Fic Idea:

Steve is a successful happy security contractor. He's kinda slutty but that's ok, he's not hurting anyone and he's always honest. And then one day he gets an email that he's pretty sure isnt for him but intrigues him anyway.

Tony is miserable. His company is on the verge of collapse, he hasn't talked to his best friends in years, and his husband is a distant asshole--and those are the good days. He emails a private investigator and somehow ends up contacting a security contractor instead.

isn't a working number, hell it doesn't even have enough numbers--they keep talking. And Steve maybe stops sleeping around because Tony, Tony is fascinating. Tony smiles more, even if sneaking around is dangerous.

And there are things that are…off. little bits of conversation that is just a little bit wrong. Not enough to concern them. Eventually they decide to meet, Tony's husband be damned. But when they go to the coffee shop they agree on--there's no one waiting.

And through the argument and hurt,they finally peace it together. They're in parallel universes.

More THOUGHTS: ok but when they realize this it spooks them both and they kinda retreat from each other. But. They both look, in their worlds. Tony find a Steve Rogers but he died as a little boy. He didn't have a best friend to protect and help him. Steve find Tony too.

He was killed by a buisness rival a few weeks after his father's death. Vanko is still in prison for it, but--Tony is still dead. It terrifies him, losing that Tony without ever knowing him, and it drives him back to his Tony, desperate to know he's safe.

It's heartbreaking because they're so close to each other, but they're universes apart, too, and Tony can't tolerate that. Won't. He's a genius, even if Ty's abuse broke him and made him small, and he's willing to try, if it means making his way to Steve.
